What a lovely couple days we had here. BnB in Victorian style. Floral- Victorian - quaint - cute - homely - are all the words that pop into my head when I think of this place. The owners are very friendly and nice. We stayed in the Arthur room. Gorgeous 4 poster bed, fire place, two floral arm chairs and a bathroom. Two little chocolates were left on the bed when we arrived. Tea and cake/brownies are served everyday at 3. Breakfast is served 8-10am with fresh omelette of the day and pancakes and waffles. The buffet serves the best home made granola (the owner gave me the recipe) along with fresh fruit, cereals, bagels and cake. Really nice! They also have custom made mugs (I bought one of course). If you are looking for a different experience and a chance to get away from a corporate hotel chain- come stay here. Close to the beach and mansions and cliff walk. About 15-20 mins walk to the wharf and harbour area. Not a bad walk what so ever. Thumbs up from me!

This gem is so fabulous. They are so accommodating. The room was picturesque. We came once and when we booked agin she knew our names and remembered us. They are pet friendly and their staff is so gentile. We love coming here when we visit family and cannot imagine staying anywhere else. And the breakfast oh the breakfast. They should open a restaurant or a bakery.

The rooms are smaller then expected but adorable and homey. Tea was survived at 4 and boy were the cookies yummy. Great night sleep and over all a great visit

It was our first time visiting Newport and Victorian Ladies was the perfect place to stay! The inn is completely charming and our room was spacious. The inn maintains it victorian charm while still having the modern anemities you need (i.e. AC, wifi, TV). The accommodations are excellent. The best part is that the owners and staff make you feel right at home and are always ready to provide local recommendations of things to do when you need it. We didn't know what we were going to do when we arrived at Newport so their knowledge and inside tips were really helpful. We loved that the inn was blocks away from the beach, cliff walk, and downtown. The breakfast was delicious and served with a friendly smile every morning. This is a real winner of a b&b!

A fantastic place to spend your weekend trip to Newport... The rooms were amazing and very comfortable... If you wanted to slip into the bath robes and relax the entire trip you'd be happy as could be... The service was great and the inn keepers were as helpful as could be and put on an amazing and delicious breakfast... Any future trips to Newport will be spent at The Victorian Ladies... Great job!!!

I had to attend a wedding in Newport and couldn't find an affordable hotel that was close to Thames St. I stumbled upon this inn on Expedia and couldn't have been more pleased. It is centrally located - it's about a ten minute walk to Thames St in one direction and a ten minute walk to the beach in the other direction. Betty Jo and all the staff were so attentive and welcoming when I arrived. I loved my room - it was spacious and the AC worked great. By far though, the highlight was the breakfast. They put out an amazing buffet of pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal and bagels and then they make a different hot entree every day. The homemade strawberry rhubarb cobbler with whipped cream was to to die for!!! I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone traveling to Newport.
