An okay little townie bar. Honestly, it's right down the street from my house and when I think about "going out" this isn't the place in mind- usually in part due to its short distance from me. Odd, I know! Most weekend nights there's some form of live music. I have tried a few things on the menu and they were good! No complaints. Decent drink choices and prices. My only drawback is that it's a townie bar. Mostly all locals are here and most seem to know each other. Whether they all once went to school together (and never left?) I don't know, but I felt a bit out of place not knowing anyone in here!

We ended up here because we were looking for another joint I had yelped, but forgot the GPS. It is a Townie Joint fer sure. We were the only non Lincoln reidents there I believe. Waitress Elizabeth was a little stand offish. When I asked for the WiFi passwrord so I could check in, she said "Oh we don't give that out" in a sort of snotty way. Bartender was a strapping lass, easy on the eyes. The food took a long time to come out. The first item out was the poitatoe skin appetizer. Some had lots of bacon, some had a little, some had none. This indicated to me a total lack of giving a f***, and did not bode well, similar to the way that Hot and Sour soup is usually a good indicator of where Chinese restaurants are coming from. That was not the case however. Her "Overtime Burger" wasn't bad at all. My Cajun Pizza was actually quite good. It had red and banana peppers on it. Whoever made it did care about presentation; maybe they have the new guy doing the skins or something. Sort of convenient on the way to Twin River, we will return.

Wings and homemade style fries are fantastic. Potato skins are great as well. My only criticism is that the should charge by the wing not by weight. It's too confusing to figure out how much to order.

I was really excited when Overtime opened - a sportsbar this close to home? Awesome! Except not so much. The food is actually pretty good (especially the buffalo shrimp pizza and chili cheese fries) but the atmosphere is so rough and unfriendly that I have no interest in returning for a third visit. As someone mentioned below, very Jersey Shore-ish in a less amusing, more annoying way. Don't get me wrong, I love a good dive bar, but this seems like a great place to hang out if you're hoping to witness or join a bar fight.

I had the worst experience here. Worst server ever. He brought us one round of drinks and never came back. He also told me the kitchen was closed, then an45 mins- an hour later the table next to us gets piping hot pizzas brought to their table...wtf? Then to top it all off, my $15.00 bill was charged to my card in addition to a mysterious $58.00. When I called to get it taken off they said "oh, well you'll have to come here and show us your credit card"... Safe to say I will never be back.

This place is always packed in the weekends. Thankfully, it is located on a plaza. Enough parking for all. Good place to watch sports. They have so many TVs! No matter where you're sitting, there's always one in front of you. I love to sit on their long high table (with its high chairs). Their chicken wings are very good. They have different degrees of spiciness to them. If you order the hottest and spiciest ones (forgot the name) and manage to finish the plate, they'll give you recognition!

I have been once, and will probably never be back. The establishment in itself is too small. The seating is uncomfortable, the bartender had no clue on the simple birthday cake shot I ordered. Or what 'hot damn' was. It's also rather loud and pricey.

I like this place. Mondays are all-you-can-eat wings and fries. I've really only had that there. Their wings are great though. Always (temperature) hot, and they have around 20 flavors i think. Their pizzas are pretty good too. This place isn't anything fancy, or different, but it is reliable. Lots of TVs to watch sporting events. A fair amount of beers, though nothing special. I would like it more if they started offering more craft beers. Something other than the common stuff. Staff has always been pretty on point. They also have activities to draw in the crowd. They do the wing night, poker night, i think they have trivia, etc. I'd recommend this place if you are looking for a sports bar to just hang out, have some snacks and beer, and watch the game.

Suck Suck Suck! Terrible overpriced meal. "Old steamers". Stubs for French fries. Horrible chicken parm sandwich. No refill on water. One napkin. Swearing disgusting locals. Will never be back!!!

1st time visit. Drove quite a way to try it. Drink specials were good and it is a nice looking place. We really enjoyed the pizza. The service was definatly the worst part. The kid waiting on us gave the impression he didn't want to be there.

Love this place! The food is great, bartenders are super friendly and I love the small home town feel. I also enjoy trivia nights with the affordable appetizers can't wait till next week!

Beyond upset. I was a big fan of this bar and grille since I found out about it over a year ago. My all time favorite was the margherita pizza, so I thought. I went today ordering the pizza since its been a while and been craving it and they gave me this sloppy pizza with a piece of hair in it. I was like ok maybe somebody is training or something. I went back in asked them to remake it and I swear they just gave me the same pizza back. Lady made it seem like this is how they always make it. There were slices with no toppings on it!!! Refer to the picture i posted. The bottom picture was of a previous times I had went to overtime that I had posted on IG from my last visit and the top picture is what they served me twice today. I guess good things dont last long. If it so happens to be a new cook causing these issues, better get on that asap because just lost a regular customer

Overtime bar is the neighborhood bar that is always consistent and delicious with creative cocktails and food specials. The staff is always so wonderful and the regular clientele fun and entertaining. You can also play the juke box from your phone. Nothing better than having some drinks, amazing pizza while Dj'ing at your favorite spot.

Every time I come here I think "What would Jon Taffer say?" The food is fine, but nothing to write home about. Their service is either good or terrible, depending on your server. TVs showing ESPN everywhere, big dining tables, diverse menu. You know, it's a sports bar. If you're not a regular here it's best not to expect a warm welcome at the bar. Most bartenders devote their attention to the handful of familiars. The regulars seem a bit self-absorbed - no one ever offers to move down a seat to make room for others. It's an awkward thing to deal with, and the staff does not seem to care either way. (Maybe it's just me, but I don't think your wife's knock-off designer handbag needs it's own chair.) Also, I've seen servers (lots and lots of times) sit down at the bar and join in on the socializing; perhaps their shift hasn't started, or just ended, but it's still very unprofessional in appearance. Generally, I find the servers to be polite but lacking in actual service. There is literally only one server that has made a positive impact (Meghan, I think) - she's quick, friendly, and totally on top of things. Again, the food is fine. I need to throw in a vote for the fries - they're great. Freshly cut and fried REAL potatoes, delivered steaming hot and salty. So good. But, often I end up with mostly 1" little slivers piled high with a few normal length fries in the midst. It's disappointing, but I still eat them. I'm not a fool. Burgers are really good, too, and quite large. Saturdays are Build Your Own, starting at around $4 - super good deal, and dozens of combinations of toppings to try out. The pizza is fine if you're drunk, or don't mind crust with spongy texture and no flavor. Super greasy cheese, too. Most appetizers are palatable, but I highly doubt they are anything but the cheaply made mass-produced kind that come in a freezer bag off a truck. Still, I love tots. Lastly, this is not a bar for beer fans. Their lineup is simple and low-end, with a few exceptions. I recently stopped getting draft beers when I noticed a certain kind of funk in the flavor of my selection. I wonder if they are cleaning the lines as much as they should? Parking is easy and ample, but there are lots of elderly folks in the neighborhood, so watch out for drivers in the lot who don't know what's going on.

The first thing that should have warned me about this place was that they use "cheater pints" (glasses that look like they are 16 oz but are really 14) and they charge 7.25 for a Twisted Tea. The only redeeming quality of this place was that I received friendly service...other wise this place is a joke, and a bad one at that.

Overtime is a hidden gem!! Every time I go in there I know I will feel right at home. The staff, service, food and drinks are amazing. Being a family owned restaurant- they make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door. Alesha, the bar manager/bartender is wonderful. She always knows what I want to drink and always makes me feel so comfortable. She has so many regulars that will agree. Being a bartender it really means a lot when someone is always spot on even if they are having an off day. Always greeting you with a smile:) the other bartenders, gale,Hillary ,meg and Lindsay are also just as great making you feel like a friend as soon as you walk in. They always have the best new liquors also which is definitely a plus and great selection of craft beers!

Yum! This place is great! My other half and I were looking for a local pub to catch a game and some good food and came across this place as a recommendation from a friend. They just opened a few weeks ago and I believe for a new restaurant, they have it together! The food was fantastic! I had the fried pickles with homemade horseradish dipping sauce (that i wanted to take home in a vat and put on everything!), a BBQ chicken quesadilla which wasn't over done and wasn't underdone - very very tasting. You can tell these guys are using high quality ingredients. Also love that the middle table is a HUGE ping pong table - pretty cool. They also have a great set of nice flat screens tuned to every sport you can imagine. Loved it. I'm thinking this may be the new sunday sports afternoon bar of choice...

We live a mile away. Even that close we don't go there anymore. Their website claims the place has a fun and relaxing atmosphere, it's anything but. We assumed it would be a decent place for dinner. The food was ok but that was it. We've given it three chances. It's always the same, even at 4:00 in the afternoon. The service is bad, the crowd is unfreindly and the food isn't worth the hassle. There never fails to be some Jersey shore wannabees and at least one lout who cannot say three words without two of them being F-bombs. I understand that ownership probably makes more money on drinks than food but they could at least attempt to make diners comfortable. As another yelper said, you are greeted with stares, silence and suspicion if you aren't a nightly customer. We're only 40, it's not like we are whiny old people, so don't think that. If you want an ok burger and don't mind slow service and some butt-pipe swearing in your ear the whole time then this place is for you. I've seen them come and go in this same spot and unless management makes this a more hospitible place this one will join the rest. Maybe the next place will be better.

Overtime is around the corner from my house, so I was very excited to tryout the new, local restaurant. I tried it 3 times before giving up hoping and realizing that this place is a huge disappointment. The service is terrible, the owners are rude, and the food isn't worth the hassle. The first time I went to overtime, I was with a large group (7 or 8 of us) and I figured we just had a bad time because we were a big group and I know it is tough to be a waiter or waitress for that big of a group. We saw our waitress maybe three times, our bill was completely wrong and as we were talking about the bill with the waitress (in a friendly manner, mind you, because we knew this poor girl was swamped and one of the only waitresses in the dining area) the owner came over from his place at the bar and yelled at us that we have no idea what it was like to be a waitress and to back off his staff...note the owner was at the bar, as a customer drinking, not working. The night was spoiled and we just ended up paying the bill to get out of there. It wasn't worth the hassle and seemed like everyone was having a bad night (own, staff and customers). Went to overtime again, in a smaller group figuring it would be a better experience. No complaints. Nothing was completely awesome, but we had a good time, ate our food, had a beer and enjoyed our time there. A big improvement from the first time. So maybe it was that we were in a big group, and the restaurant was just having an off night...besides the owner acting belligerent. But hey, he is young, learning and we all can learn from experiences. So the third time, I went with a group of four. Different server but same story. He seemed totally swamped, had a lot of tables and we rarely got to see him but when we did he was great. Then our bill came. He charged more to our card than our original bill receipt was, but at least he was somewhat apologetic about it. He said he was "sorry it happened but there nothing he could do about it and couldn't void the transaction because the manager wasn't there." Seriously? Why isn't there a manager on at the dinner shift and why is this even happening? You can't do anything for us? Over all, even though this place's location is extremely convenient, I wont go here again. It isn't worth the hassle and seems to me that the two brothers who own the place jumped into running a restaurant with no experience and will ultimately end up running it to the ground. Its a hang out for them to drink, make mediocre food, hire their friends as staff and a place for their friends to come and drink for free at the night. Too bad. This place had really great potential.

I drive by this place every day and the parking lot is always jam packed so I figured I would stop by and have a look. My date and I arrived around 9:30ish (its a bar) hoping to have a drink, order a burger or something- I was disappointed. I was told "all we are serving now is pizza, the rest of the kitchen is closed." Seemed odd and at this point we decided to do take-out instead of eating in and ordering drinks. While we were waiting I noticed they have a number of t.v's and what looked like a poker table in the corner. It was odd at that time of night to see a 13 year old? in the bar playing poker.... Anyhow the bar itself was kind of small, they did a good job of setting up the tables and working with what they have space wise. When we got the pizza I was surprised it only took 10 minutes. By the time we got home though (I live 3 minutes away) the food was cold. The pizza tasted like it was a pan pizza judging by the amount of grease on the crust. On my first bite or two I thought to myself, I didn't know pizza hut made a frozen pizza? It tasted seriously like it was pre-made, frozen and then re-heated. The reason I am giving an overall review of 2 stars is because it is after all a bar and they defiantly have enough TV's to qualify. I won't order food from here again, maybe an appy and a beer if their kitchen is not closed by the time I get out of work. They also have things like poker night and karaoke that could be fun.

Had dinner here on a sunday. The service was prompt and attentive from Meghan the bartender. I had the roast chicken which was full of flavor and cooked very well.

Great food and drinks but I wished they served dessert. The owner said its because the chef didn't want to make them in house, had very high standards and couldn't find any providers that satisfied him. I'm glad he's all about quality but a little ice cream wouldn't hurt, would it?
(4)Michael S.
I've tried this place twice now and both times it has left a bad taste in my mouth. As another yelp'r stated "it's definitely a local spot". As soon as you walk in the staff and patrons make you feel extremely awkward with their stares and whispers. Wings were amazing with multiple sauce options...but that's where it ended for me. Ordered a large pepperoni pizza and boneless hot wings. Their version of a large is most other places med at best. It was all dough with minimal sauce and toppings. I've had better pizza from the freezer. The boneless wings had the lightest coating of sauce I've seen. All in all, I won't be heading back.

I just started going here as a good friend of mine got a bartending job here. Great place, very cute, all the staff is cool and the pizza is sooo good! The only set back to me is the drinks weren't too strong and they dont have twisted tea or blue moon(two of my favorite drinks). The owner is a huge ball buster but only if he knows you can take it :) . I'm sure i have many drunken nights at Overtime in my future!
