This Five Guys is consistent with the other locations I've been to. I came during the late evening and there was no wait to order. Don't expect to get your food lightning fast, they make your meal to order so you get the freshest food. Service was standard, nothing exceptional but they were friendly. Because it was mostly empty the cook brought over our food instead of calling out our number. The restaurant was clean and kept well. If you're new to this place, a mini is a burger with one patty and a regular has 2 patties. A mini fry is all you need; I think a regular is equivalent to an extra large fry at most places. And the fries are fresh but a little too salty for my taste. Overall, not a bad place, but not for the calorie counters!

Who are the people giving Five Guys two stars? Really? Do you not like burgers? Or maybe you hate America and love terrorists? Canton was always my favorite location but Lincoln sort of rocks because the staff is so friendly and happy.

This location is *always busy.* It's probably because it's close to Bryant. It's usually busy for lunch, but the sweet cashiers never give me a hard time about asking for no bun, and they make sure that the line knows that I have a gluten allergy. Expect to wait a little (10 minutes or so) for your burger, even without special exceptions like a gluten allergy. They also aren't pushy about me ordering the 'little fries' or not wanting a drink (I usually take my meal to go) unlike other locations. As other reviewers have stated, it's really messy at times here. There is almost always a girl pushing a broom or cleaning tables, but it's like they can't keep up with the people. Parking is not that bad here, but getting OUT of the parking lot can be a pain. Be patient. Other locations are quicker and usually cleaner, but the staff here are very nice. It's always loud here, but that's par for the course for a Five Guys.

First time at Lincoln location Friday night. It was definitely not up to par with Warwick or Patriots Place!. Burgers bland, cheese cold and unmelted, and fries were Very disappointing! Brought back food for friends that LOVE 5 Guys, and they too were majorly let down. I'd like to believe it was an off night for them , but doubtful I'll visit this location again.

Went here for lunch. I've been here before a few times, and it's always great. The burgers are a must try, and I haven't had a bad one yet. Bring your appetite! The fries are good, cut from fresh potatoes.., blah blah blah. They're ok. They're not crispy usually, at all.. but nevertheless, still pretty good. They give you a ton of them, so unless you are a (non-crispy) fry lover, order the smallest one. I don't want it to sound like I don't like the fries there, because I do; they're just not the best fries I ever had, but still good, you know what I'm saying? Definitely check out five guys if you haven't gone yet! ...and if you have been there, then you already know.

I cant express how much I love this place... I say Five Guys everyone says YES! Never let me down... none of the locations... well worth the wait!

The cashier was great. Good service. Kitchen looks clean. They work hard and they run a good place. Mell done.

Of all the five guys locations I've been to this was by far the cleanest and most spacious. The staff was pleasant and keeping busy. This will sound crazy but the particular burger I had tonight may have been the best I've ever eaten. Having a bag full of perfectly cooked fries and what seemed to be 100+ drink choices didn't hurt either!

Food is very good & made to order. However, the way I've heard some of the managers speak to the staff was very disrespectful, with the use of profanity, specifically "F" bombs, definitely unbecoming. No one should be treated that way!!

Very good food. Dirty restaurant!!! Fries all over the floor. Bathroom very dirty. Tables dirty. Water all over the floor. Slip and fall potential for all ages. #getacleaningperson

I have never gone to a Five Guys before this and I didn't know what I was in for. (This isn't a bad thing, I just walked in as an innocent who thought five guys had burgers) The menu is short and to the point. The variety of toppings that come with the burgers (no extra charge) was awesome. And (confession) I ordered the largest of burger and fries, not knowing what I was getting into. I enjoyed the experience of waiting and eating peanuts. The person I came with and I thought we might have to take it to go, since there was no table space but while waiting, a table cleared out. I would definitely recommend this experience.

This is another very quiet five guys. Fries were much better than other locations for this chain. Burger was good. I would come here again.

Red and white hit your eyes when u enter. Stark. Utilitarian. Simple. Potato sacks and peanuts in piles. Simple ordering process. 100+ soda combinations. Fries cooked in peanut oil. All burger toppings are gratis. After ordering I eat peanuts and drink a cherry Mello Yellow. I pick up my order and the fries overload the bag on top of the burger. I rip open the bag. The fries are pretty much perfect. The burger done all the way has crispy bacon, perfect caramelized onions, mushrooms and then dill pickles. Cheese. Lettuce, tomato mayo, catchup, mustard. Texturally it's perfect. But... There is something missing. One tiny thing. And I can't quite place it. I wanna be in love but I'm currently in like. But it's a deep like :-) Everyone working there was smiling, playfully joking, courteous and friendly. It's a solid burger place. Makes me think of In and Out burger... Only now they gotta channel The Monster.

This Five Guys location, just like most of Lincoln Mall area, doesn't get hit up as bad as most. Thus, you guys are looking at some quick service here. Word to the wise for those of you who aren't frequent customers of Five Guys or coming back after a few months away: get the little fries. Five Guys unveiled this new fry size, help saving you some dough. (If you are sharing some fries, just get 1 regular, more than enough fries) Now all Five Guys in my reviews get one star demotions. Nothing to do with this location in particular but with Five Guys in general. They have to slowly offer more healthy options. I understand this is a burger joint but you can see on the menu they love providing topping options but no meat options. A turkey burger might help....or bison?

Really delicious burgers. Fries are a bit over salted but the portions are huge. May want to order the small size as it can easily feed 2. Prices are crazy high.

I love the simplicity of this place. My first hamburger was fine by me. The kitchen area is open to see and hear and was abuzz with efficiency and good attitude. I was impressed as the main cook neatly organized the orders and it was fun to watch. My burger was fresh and exactly as ordered. I enjoyed the back yard burger style presentation. The tomato, lettuce and onions were all fresh and generous. The fries were kinda pricey at 5 bucks for a large. That's the burger price? They were fried in peanut oil and that is a pricey oil so I'm figuring that's the culprit. The peanuts to munch on while waiting for my burger were fresh and endless and salted. No unsalted that I could see but if they have them I'll choose those instead. One thing I would like to see is a 90 percent lean beef choice and maybe a soy burger for my herbivore friends. All in all it was yummy and fun. Will go back when it's cold and I feel like a back yard burger!

Update to my original review on 02/24/12 Now that the Five Guys at Lincoln Mall has been open over a year, I still give them five stars! The food is always hot and consistent, the employees are always friendly and helpful - even the grill guys go out of their way to say hi! The bathrooms and dining area are always clean! To top it off, they help support the local community with fund raising events. What more can a Yelper ask for of a fast food restaurant?

Love it when craving artery hardening food. Cajun fries are bomb. I prefer two littles over one regular. Wish they'd offer chic nuggets for little ones.

as far as fast food burgers are concerned five guys is the top of the chain! burgers are never frozen and cooked in front if you.super fresh fixings(tomato, lettuce etc).very tasty and consistent.whats equally impressive are the fresh cut fries that are fried in peanut oil.they have a chalk board that tells you the daily location those potatoes your eating are from.they pride themselves on freshness and you can taste it.

When Five Guys first came to this area a few years back, I heard people ranting and raving about it. I'm not much of a "burger and fries" kind of gal, but I do crave the salty goodness every once in a while. Today happened to be one of those days. Myself and two co-workers decided to pop into Five Guys on our lunch break. It was around 1:00 p.m. and the place was jumpin'! The line moved quickly and once I placed my order, I had my food within 5 minutes. Service was fast and friendly. I like the menu because it's not overwhelming - just very basic and straight to the point. I ordered a single burger and a regular size fry; but do not be fooled! A regular size fry is HUGE. They also have a great selection of free toppings to add to your burger, things like lettuce, mayo, cheese, ketchup, onions, BBQ sauce, etc. The soda machines are something out of the future. They are touch screen and again, a nice selection of drink options. There were 8 different flavors of Sprite, including the regular flavor. Overall, I enjoyed my experience here. Would I go back? Sure, but not any time soon.

Offensively loud 80s rock (my 2 little kids could hardly have a conversation with me bcuz the music was so loud "come on feel the noise! Girls rock your boys!!" - not what I want to compete with for conversation). The burgers were mediocre at best. The employees were playfully yelling back and forth to each other. The place was busy but everyone was nearly shouting to be heard. The buns were soggy on the burgers and the tomatoes were pale pink and a bit slimy (I guess that's what ya get in the middle of winter). Took almost 15 minutes to get a grilled cheese, a burger and a small order of fries. The floor was filthy and so was my table. The only thing good was the fries. Not worth going back for fries alone. Pretty lame experience overall. Wish I had my money back!

For fast food burgers and fries, Five Guys is pretty top notch. I enjoy their cajun seasoned fries and I even tried a hot dog one time and it was pretty good! For first timers, their regular burgers are two patties, so order a little burger if you only want one. And a large fry is huuuuuge, every time I share it with someone we never finish it.

Always clean, friendly, and orders are made correctly. I usually ask for a side of mayo and they never charge me extra. Floors are always well taken care of along with the bathrooms and eating areas.

I like this place because it is an escape from the traditional fast food format. You know that what you are getting it fresh and probably at least came from a cow. The ingredients are spread out in boxes along the dining room, which leaves the guesswork of how it's stored. This isn't the place for the best burger, and five guys doesn't claim to be. If anything, the hype comes from the thousands of people that have tried this place and swear by it. I think it's unfortunate that people post about the heaping helping of fries, simply because when I first went there, it put me in shock and it's better experiencing it that way. If you are on a diet, there is nothing diet about five guys. If you are thinking of burgers on a diet, you should re-evaluate your eating habits.

Every location I go to is so constantly good! Never a wrong order, or sub par burger or fries. It makes me wish more restaurants specialized in only a few items that they did better then anyone else.

It pains me to have to deduct two stars from my beloved local 5 guys but it had to be done. Perhaps it was just that it was lunchtime during April vacation week but 5 guys failed to deliver this time around. A coworker and I ordered ahead of time over the phone. Once we arrived to pick up our food they had heard my friend's name incorrectly on the phone, so this took a few minutes to sort out. I proceeded to the drink fountains to get our drinks. Our sodas tasted like the syrup desperately needed a change over as it was running out and tasted very watered down. I then went to grab condiments and napkins. They were out of malt vinegar and the entire counter needed a good cleaning. Cut lemons are left out near the soda fountains, and let's just say these lemon wedges looked like they had been sitting out for quite some time. About ten minutes later our food was ready. It was difficult to find a table as the eating area was filthy, the majority of tables needed to be wiped down, the floors swept, and apparently also mopped as I came to learn. I managed to find a small table that was not too dirty (I wiped it down myself). My friend and I sat down and ate our food. I ordered the little hamburger with a bunch of yummy toppings. I have never been disappointed in the food but I must mention how my hamburger bun was extremely mushy and falling apart on the bottom. It appeared to be more of the texture of the bun, than the toppings causing it to be soggy. During this time, the line had disappeared and I only saw one worker venture out to start cleaning things up, the others stayed behind the counter and socialized. We went to leave and my shoes had stuck to the floor, apparently there was a soda spill under our table that we had failed to notice. For the rest of the day my shoes were sticking to everything. I know I will eventually give them another shot but I hope Five Guys can get their act together next time around!

I give this place three stars because I find it to be very hit or miss. On some occasions, I've had the best burger of my LIFE. On others, it's barely been meh. I tend to order the exact same thing (bacon cheeseburger with mayo, tomato, and grilled onion) so it's not an issue of poor choices - just inconsistent execution of what should be a standard product. The fries are always delicious, and I do enjoy the magical 200+ selection coke machine.

  • Ted D.

Great burger! The fries are plentiful and addictive. This location has the new Coke Machines with over 100 favors available. **Warning** Those with peanut allergies, there are free peanuts out in the open in the store to munch on while you wait and the shells can tend to be everywhere

I love 5 guys but this location sucks! Burgers are almost burnt & they put so much seasoning that your mouth burns! They almost always forget a topping too. I live in Woonsocket & when I want 5 guys I drive to the one in Franklin, Ma. That place is excellent!

Very pleased with the new Five Guys! Stopped here yesterday for a quick burger and it was delicious! It was speedy and quick and the staff was courteous! I expected some growing pains as they get into their stride, but I'm happy to report there were none. Congrats on the opening!

Honestly best burger place we have ever been to. Always good. Never disappointed. Burgers are always cooked to order and they always give you a ton of fries! Try the cajun fries! Order the regular, cause the regular to them is like the entire brown bag filled with fries lol. They also have one of those soda machines with the ridiculous amount of choices.

I have been meaning to write about this place. I have only eaten at 5 Guys in Warwick on two separate occasions...there will not be a third. First of all, let me explain that I am not a fast foodie but appreciate good tasty fast food if I'm craving it. I consider In & Out burger to be my favorite...still crossing my fingers on In & Out spreading to the East Coast. Back to 5 Guys...their burgers are nothing to write home about. I have had pancakes thicker than that and I'm also not a big fan of burgers prepared on flat tops....there is something about burgers on the grill that makes this girl happy. The toppings are free which is good for me as I bathe it in condiments to cover the crappy meat. The fries are tasty however the whole fry situation must be some sort of ongoing joke. When I ordered a SMALL fry, which is all I wanted (because I would have gotten a large if I wanted to) I figured that when I saw the guy scoop with his little scooper thing and put the fries in the cup, that it would go into the back and be handed to me. No...the fry filled cup went into the bag, followed three additional hearings of scooped fries. I had a large brown bag, half filled with French fries. I am surprised the grease didn't cause the bottom of the bag to give out. Clearly those 5 Guys and I do not have the same interpretation of sizes. That was gross and a waste of food as 90 percent of it was thrown out. Sadly enough, I'm sure most others are not as sensible and I feel bad for their arteries.

Eh it was ok the second time around, still off though- the bacon was still like potato chips. Better than your local MccyD's though

Food is great, burgers are well cooked and the fries are delicious... However it is a bit on the expensive end being a a'la cart menu. If you are looking to count calories this is not the place to go, a typical meal ( burger, fries and drink) can be over 1300 calories.

Having eaten at 3 other "Five Guy" locations, I'm aware of the calibre of this franchise. They've set the bar high for not only the Burger genre, but their own franchise siblings. Five Guys-Lincoln has gotten off to a fine start with no teething problems at all. The order was handled correctly, courteously and promptly. The signature peanuts were strategically placed in the usual locations. I'm glad I no longer need to travel as far to get my burger fix. Congrats on your launch.

I seriously don't get the buzz about 5 guys burgers. They just aren't that good. Heaven forbid you ask for ketchup or mustard on your burger. They slather it in the stuff. I've tried 5GB&F on two occasions at 2 different locations and it's consistently unsatisfying. Is it just me or does the burger look like it's been sat on before you get it? It's a mess.

Always great satisfaction when it comes to a great burger and fries.
