Opting for grilled sandwich or burgers are preferred compared to double meat or triple meat cheesy burgers which contain high cholesterol.

3 or 4 stars depending on where you are standing. So if you are in Lincoln, I can see this being 4 stars. If you are next to Stanley's Burgers or 5 Guys, 3 Stars. It is a nice new joint with a throw back to the 50's and 60's feel. They try to be like 5-Guys in the 'build your own burger' world. They should probably give that up and just go with being a burger joint. The burger itself is in the middle. It is better than most chains but not going to make 5-Guys look over their shoulder. The location is great and the interior is fun. I could see this place just getting better and better as they settle in and get the staff up to speed. I can see this becoming a good part of the fabric of Lincoln. So why should they stick with just being a burger joint you might have asked? Well, I ordered a burger with mayo, onion and lettuce. I got a burger with onion and lettuce. I went back to get the mayo and was handed a burger with lettuce, mayo, onion and tomato. I know, it was complicated. I can not imagine what would have happened has I also asked for something crazy like mustard. So the break down: Burger - Once it was corrected 3 stars Onion Rings - 2 Stars but only because of the price. $4.00 and not much in the basket Chili Cheese Fries - 4 Stars Service - Counter 4 stars Attention to detail - Hard to say. Shop itself - 4 Stars

Decided to try this place for take out on our way to Lincoln Woods - We were pleasantly surprised that not only did this place have a dining room but it was quite large and very clean. I tried the burger of the week - the Rodeo burger and was very happy with it - cheese, BBQ sauce, onion rings and crispy bacon - very tasty. The man got the tuna melt and said he liked it - we also split an order of mozzarella sticks (8 PC. $3.79 with marinara - couldn't resist!) We ordered, got our fountain sodas and were in the truck heading to the park within 15 minutes! We both enjoyed this quick lunch that was outside our usual stops! This place is cute, clean and had a public bathroom - we would certainly come again when in the area!

Bad service, bad food. Ordered breakfast, then immediately regretted it when I saw the milk curds swirling in my coffee a moment later... I should have known. As we sat at the counter for less than 30 minutes, the waitress constantly seemed uncomfortable, and avoided eye contact. We were never offered utensils or napkins, nor jam for toast, nor refills on coffee. When I asked if there was anything to substitute for meat on my eggs benedict (tomato, spinach, mushrooms?) the waitress was unsure - she asked the man at the grill - she returned with "home fries or toast" .... huh? The food was bland, and mostly microwaved. The coffee tasted weak and dirty. The smell of bleach cleaner on the counter was difficult to stomach after a while. Really huge disappointment. I tried coming here a couple years ago and was disappointed then, too, but that was for burgers. I can't believe we paid for two meals here and have yet to find value in this place. Don't waste your money.

tried this place as its next to the ice cream place Lincoln Creamery. Got a tuna melt along with mozzerela sticks. The tuna was VERY good and toasted great! The mozzerela sticks were average but not bad for a hamburg joint. I would reccomend trying this place out along with ice cream place next store.

We had a terrible middle aged brunette waitress. She literally ruined our whole order. Overpriced food and long wait times. This place bummed me out.

I wanted to give it 4 and one half stars but that's not possible so I'll go with four. To, and for me, this place is perfect. It's nice and bright, very clean and pleasant. Compared to our other nearby option this place is great. The burgers are very good. Not jump out of your shoes good, but still better than anything nearby. The 1/4 pound dogs are what I'll be going there for now on. This isn't an area known for really good dogs, this is wiener country. The atmosphere is nice and the staff is nice, the food is great and the prices are good. The only thing too expensive is the souvenir stuff, but who buys that but tourists who expect to be gouged for a hat?

This is a new place that just opened up near my home in Lincoln, Ri. I have been eying the sign for weeks in anticipation! Burgers, Ice-cream just in time for the spring/ summer season. I was not exactly sure what to expect out of this place but once you get inside it is kind of a mix of everything you are use to in a burger joint. The decor is similar to Johnny Rockets, dinner-esk, shinny stainless steal. However thats right about where this place turns into 5 guys, order a build your own burger (seems to be the trend) and wait for your number to be called, seat yourself. I got a burger (of course) and a 1/2 & 1/2 (fries and onion rings). The food came out in a timely manner and the tiny girl behind the counter had a huge voice when she called "45" the number on my slip. The food was pretty good, the burger meat quality is consistent with a pre-packaged angus burger (you know those boxes you get at your grocery store i.e "bubba burger's"?). The fries were not to bad either, I would say I am a fan of the establishment itself but it is nothing special. It is a great place for families to spend a night out, seemed to be the cliental they were getting. I can see a family enjoying a burger and ice-cream after a sports game, it has that vibe. The price was decent, 13$ for two people to eat out- better than average for 2 burgers and fries. Not the best but could be fun if you have a family, acceptable service and wait time. That is why I give the place 4 stars, it achieves everything it is trying to, a family friendly burger joint with the ice-cream next store. Don't expect an OMG moment when you take that first bite though!

Went here because I saw a good review on Phantom Gourmet the same morning and we are always on the lookout for a new/good burger place. A mix of Five Guys and Johnny Rockets without the flavor of both and the atmospere of Johnny Rockets. The burgers and fries were bland to the point of sheer tastelessness. And slightly over-priced compared to both 5 Guys and Johnny Rockets - $19 for 2 burgers, small fries and 2 sodas? And it's a serve yourself? I have had much better burger platters at places like The Abbey and Rare at basically the same price and I'd rather spend the extra buck or two at those restaurants than waste my time and money here.

I liked it-- very cute. I'd eat there again for sure. The old fashioned fries were awesome.

Well, it was clean.. and that was pretty much the only good thing this place has going for it. The parking sucks. The decor looks like a replica of Five Guys. I wish the burgers were as good as Five Guys. The prices even mimic those of Five Guys. This place uses pre-made and possibly frozen burger patties. They came right out of a pre-packaged sleeve and onto the cooktop with no seasoning added. They had no taste, except for that pre-made previously frozen taste. My burger patties were not cooked thoroughly. The fries are made from FROZEN potatoes. They are most definitely not anything special. Mine were cold and soggy, even though I asked for them to be cooked well done. Not to mention for almost $4, the portion was probably equal to a small McDonalds fry. C'mon Burger Boys.. put some effort into it.. Make your own burger patties from fresh beef. Spend a few bucks and get a fry cutter and cut your own potatoes for your fries. It's not that hard.

Neat new burger joint. The decor is cute and made to look like a 1950s soda parlor. I ordered a bacon burger and the half and half side (fries and onion rings). The fries were okay. I liked the onion rings. The burger was good, but not super great. You can order whatever toppings you want. The patties themselves are thin, but tasty. A good alternative to a regular fast food chain, but not as good as a thick, juicy burger you might get at a good pub.

Average Burger for Average Price....$21 for 2 burgers, a half and half fry ring combo, 1 soda and 1 shake.....nothing spectacular....but ok. Looks very 5 Guyish to me.

  • Jim M.

i have to say the service is terrible. i went for takeout, a middle-aged guy with glasses had me wait 5 minutes while he was looking for something, without even saying 'one moment' when he finally had time, he looked at me and said 'yes?' - are you serious? i will not be back.. the food was barely ok...

  • J H.

I want to like this place I really do! That being said. I do appreciate how clean the place is. But for the money for food the value is just not there. Do not make the mistake of ordering a side of O rings. I thought for sure I was being punked 6 FROZEN rings in the order for over 4 dollars. I laughed so hard the 17 year cook asked what was so funny. I said is this a full order? He said yes. We have to pre portion them so everyone gets the same amount. Good lord! The burger was bland, begging for salt and pepper. It's just not the same adding it yourself. Oh. And one more thing. They mix hot FROZEN fries with ones that have been sitting under the heat lamp, one order we got had a mix of both. OMG. Cardinal French Fry Sin. Overall a notch above Micky Ds but not even in the same league as 5 guys.

I always go to Lincoln Creamery (Attached) and wanted to try Burger Boys out. When I went I got a burger and some onion rings. Burger was fine and so were the onion rings. I would go back for sure, the food it ok and the atmosphere is fun.

So I'm a fan of hole in the wall places, and this place just sucked me in. What should I have expected it is an ice cream place and frozen burger joint. My order was wrong, no one took 10 seconds to check in see if it was ok after they dropped it on the counter. Chili fries were greasy and bland, turkey burger( had to try something different) was bland and under cooked, roll was greasy. Overall decent place but not worth the $12 my lunch cost. If I want to spend that I will go somewhere that knows how to make chili with flavor. I will most likely not return which is too bad as the decor is decent and the place is very clean.

Average. Got cheeseburger and fry... It was OK. Prefer Five Guys even paying a bit more.

This place it's just great! Nicely located close to the the main road, have a burger, a float, chowda, fish and chips, then go next door(same building) and enjoy an ice cream. It has been part of our fam every summer, now with burger boys, it's so close to Lincoln woods park, after a day in the lake come to the burger boys, family oriented clean, great music. They have clean tables outside or just stay coll inside

I've dined in for a burger once and it was good. I've eaten there twice since they started offering breakfast and I found the food to be good and the price very fair. Wait staff pretty good too.
