The six of us were headed to the beach and were searching desperately for an average breakfast, nothing special. We all got eggs and they all tasted different. Iced coffee, toast, bacon -- they all tasted and smelled distinct! Service was good, but note that priority for seating is by age, not beauty.

Just your average breakfast nothing special. Small amount of food you would have thought potatoes were endangered. Waitress just bad never asked how is it? Would you like more coffee? Or a simple have a nice day. It's 2015 time to get rid of the TV from the 70's

This place was so great! It was one waitress and one chef running the whole place, and she was the most attentive waitress we ever had! Aside from that, the prices were great and the food was awesome. I especially love their home fries. They were so tasty and crispy. I would totally make that my breakfast spot if I lived in Barrington!

This is my husband's favorite join when he goes back home to visit. He married me now and took me there and I loved it. It's comfortable, all the gals are pleasantly loud and friendly. It's a small town feel. So the dinning area is not up to date but it's clean. They have a tv for you to watch. The portions fit the price of the meals nothing big nothing small. I recommend coming here if your ever in RI.

Everything smells and tastes the same, whether it is a pancake, waffle, strip of bacon or toast, it all smells and tastes like grease and char. The place is not vintage cool old, it's just old and dirty. The bathroom is a disaster, my son says it scares him. The help are hard working and nice but needless can't make up for the poor food quality. Oh and to make matters worse they only take cash.

I half expected something a little classier in the center of Barrington but Kozy Kitchen is just your average diner. Sticky booths, weak coffee, grouchy waitresses. My husband was ecstatic....he loves these sort of grit of the earth places. Anyway, the menu is your basic breakfast offerings: eggs, omelettes, pancakes, waffles, hashbrowns, etc. The coffee really was weak and my blueberry pancake was actually a normal sized pancake instead of the dinner plate size ones you normally get at these places. The home fries tasted like Chinese food for some reason and the flavor lingered with us both for the rest of the afternoon. They did serve chourico which surprisingly enough can be hard to get around here and that made my husband very happy. You certainly smell like a diner when you leave and they are cash only but I'm sure I'll be back at some point since it's an affordable, OK breakfast option.

Nice little place, food is good. I always find myself there for breakfast 4-5 times a year. The place BADLY needs to be updated though. The inside is extremely dated and rundown, basically as if it hasn't been touched since the place opened.

This place reminds me of the NJ diners of my teenage years, in a good way. The decor is not pretty, or fussy and kind of divey, but the pancakes are delicious and the hot coffee refills quick and plentiful. Its the kind of "greasy spoon" place that you love to indulge in. Not a great place if you are trying to impress guests, but a great hangover cure breakfast can be had here. The kitchen is super clean and viewable from the tables and breakfast counter. The wait staff are pleasant and just a little cheeky. Great way to start the morning!

GPS Warning - If you are not careful, your GPS will take you the graveyard across the street. KK is located in a strip mall. Cash Only - so be prepared, and I don't recall if I saw an ATM. Better than 3 stars, not quite the 4, but really worth stopping by if you are in the neighborhood (or within 15 miles and want something different then East Providence). First let me give two thumbs up to the folks that work there. They are great folks. One of the ladies, Jane, who waited on us was super fantastic. She was very helpful in helping us first timers with the menu. Let me say with me, she stepped back, she scanned me up and down, letting her eyes roam over me with a slight grin on her face. Then she slowly reach over and whispered... you look like you need the hungry man breakfast, it is big serving... I did not get the big guy's breakfast. What I did was got their version of hash. I am going to butcher this, but 'Chirezzo.' It is not chorizo, it is some Italian pork kind of thing that I see around the RI scene. The long and short of it, it is homemade and it is fantastic. It is a good break from the cornedbeef hash. I also had a blueberry pancake, also very good. Real plump blueberries. My daughter had the Chocolate chip banana pancake which were really good. I will warn you if you are an adult, go easy on the CCB pancake, it is rich. So why not 4 you might be asking. Well, I am sort of a fan. I will recommend it but it is just not enough to knock off Spoonem's. So I hope that helps. But, they will get to my 'list.'

Enjoyed a nice, simple BLT for lunch. Prepared with TLC. Kozy Kitchen, a diner with a Kozy menu.

A real family run diner, good food and pleasant if not pretty setting, plenty of light through the big windows up front, the coffee keeps coming. I think the chourico hash is excellent, French toast is solid, eggs potatoes and toast are better than most. Fast, cheap, and child-friendly.

Extremely affordable and a great place to grab a quick bite and catch up with friends and family. The interior definitely needs a pick me up though

Good little mom and pop breakfast spot! Cheap and affordable, don't expect the greatest breakfast experience, but this place gets the job done for a few dollars a plate.

Kozy Kitchen captures the small-town feel of Barrington with a friendly staff and inexpensive but decent breakfast foods. The restaurant's setting is in no way glamorous but it is frequently visited by town residents. Be sure to try the chocolate chip banana pancakes with a glass of coffee milk!
