Can I give this one 0 stars.. This is the worst place I have ever been the server dumped the food on the table...the server giggled loudly with friends even though we are the only people in the restaurant food took forever... The baked potato was way over done to where I have to peel it out of the skin. The lettuce at the salad bar was brown... The water had a yellowish brown tint to it... The only thing that was good was the bbq chicken. The manager was told we wanted to talk to him an he just sat there talking to someone for 15 min. And guess what!? The server hasn't been back yet!!!! Empty on water.. Still no server. Paying now. They won't take care of the meal even though it wasn't eaten..

I took my elderly uncle there for lunch. We had the salad bar and soup. Everything was good and we were happy with our service. The staff was very pleasant. I would definitely go back.

Had a great meal their fi\o around $13 dollars. The place was very clean inside and out. I would do business with again. The only problem was that we were not offered refills on coffie or Ice Tea

Been here a few times, and was always disappointed with the food. The inside of the restaurant is nice looking and my waitress was very nice too, but the food always leaves much to be desired. The two small 50 cent coin sized biscuits they bring out before your meal is the warning sign for what you can expect for your dinner. My girlfriend ordered the petite sirloin and shrimp ($16) which turns out to be a biscuit sized steak and 3 shrimps. I had the hickory bourbon chicken which was ok, but certainly small also (given that it was the main course of my meal.) We ended with dessert, a $6 slice of pie which of course was a sliver. Maybe an inch wide and it's widest. I've never seen a restaurant that scrimps on its food more than this one. As a chain restaurant, you would think they would make it their business to satisfy their customers where it matters most, with the food, but that is clearly not one of Ruby Tuesday's company goals.

Not good. Me and my kid went there to eat, this of course annoyed our server. Our server gritted her teeth and served us (well sort of). I ordered a coke so she got me some dishwasher water. I was happy it was close to the right color. She took it away after 20 minutes after i mentioned it was bad but at least she let me pay full price. The food was fair and warm. We ate it. The best part for all three of us was us leaving.

The last two times we ate here my husband's entree was too undercooked to be eaten. The manager took care of it by removing the charge from the bill. They seem to have a kitchen issue.

Ordered the salmon salad. Asked for it medium rare (the salmon obviously). The waitress came out and told me the manager said that by law she has to cook it to an internal temperature of 140F. Across the street I could see a sushi restaurant where I'm pretty sure they don't cook the salmon to 140 before they slice it and serve it on rice. I order the chicken sliders which were awful, smothered in sauce to drown the blandness of the breading and chicken. If I ever go back then its because I lost a bet to someone meniacal.

After refusing for a long te to give them another chance my daughter decided to give in. We ordered the same thing sirloin steak, baked potato and salad bar. The salad bar seems better now. No seeds in the green pepper slices. Nothing frozen. Some sweeter dressing. The guy refilling the salad bar was annoying. He pushed his way in to put two bowls of pasta salad in an empty place where he must have taken them out of earlier but then he took a bowl away that I was going to try so I wonder what the best way is to refill the salad bar. Take half full bowls away to the kitchen to fill them up or bring the stuff out to the salad bar. Who knows. Anyway, for whatever reason my daughters steak was 2 1/2 times thicker than mine what a huge difference! They were also extremely small but they don't specify on their menu what size they are. I wonder how small the petite steaks are, the size of a postage stamp? We both scattered some sweetener on the table but couldn't brush it away because it STUCK FAST TO THE TABLE!!!!!!!!! I don't think she'll ever go back anymore!!!!!!

Horrible, stinky mashed potatoes. The waitress forgot our appetizer. Green beans tasted of the freezer. Sigh.

Where to begin. Our server was unaccomodating, my mom asked for half unsweetened tea and half sweetened and the server for some reason could not grasp that concept. She wound up getting unsweetened tea instead. We ordered a burger without mayo, fish tacos without Pico de gallo, and ribs with a side of fries and broccoli. When the orders came, all 3 orders were wrong. We got mayo, Pico de gallo, and no fries. When we complained, we were told that we could get free deserts, but the bill could not be reduced. As none of us wanted deserts, we were left to pay the full bill for sub-par food. As for the food itself, my fish tacos were barely even warm, and the plates for the garden bar were soaking wet. Bad food, bad service, bad experience overall. Avoid this place.

I frequently travel to York on business and stay at the neighboring hotel to this Ruby Tuesday's. I've given this place multiple tries simply because it is so close, however, I'm so done after tonight. Service is always awful staffed with rude and chatty college students, food is hit or miss..tonight was one of those miss nights..stay away from the pork chop it's obviously one of their "thawed" frozen microwaved items, and their is always a musty smell..the quest continues for a decent place to get a quick bite in York.

Took my wife and three children there recently, probably won't return. We were seated quickly but sat there for almost 15 minutes before our server arrived for our drink orders. Noticed an elderly gentleman at the table beside us giving his server the third degree about his service. She got the manager to come out and talk to him and I overheard him complaining because he asked for a child free section. Now I am not stupid, why would they simply oblige to this outrageous request. They should have told him before he was even seated there is no such thing as a child free section (with exception of the bar perhaps?) In an establishment like that. Realistic expectations saves yourself a headache or two, coming from someone who has spent years in retail/customer service.

We were in the mood for some good burgers, boy did we pick the WRONG place. I ordered the "top of the line" prime burger, my wife a similar selection. We very explicitly ordered them med rare. What we got was simply TERRIBLE. A tasteless, overcooked hockey puck you'd swear was flung across the floor of a two thousand degree blast furnace. My second bite was dry enough I had take a big gulp of drink just to ensure I didn't need to wave frantically for the Heimlich. Needless to say, I didn't finish it and threw it away. Five Guys cooks their burgers well done as a matter of policy, but they still come out juicy and flavorful. This was the worst burger I have eaten and biggest waste of $10+ in my 35 years. I've given this franchise a couple tries on other occasions to be fair, but no more. All visits were mediocre at best, this was just terrible. Zero stars.

Went there with another couple to have dinner and sit at the bar. Couldn't sit at the bar because the bartenders and waitresses had all their purses and clothes over 5 bar stools and would not move them. Got seated and after 15 minutes, we decided to just leave. There was another table of people that left as well. Something is very wrong with the ownership and management when these types of things occur. We will never go back.

As far as chain restaurants go, I am liking what Ruby Tuesday has done with their menu over the past year or so. They have certainly made a good effort to "class up" some of their food while still offering the simple things like burgers. The food is pretty good and so is the service here. It is conveniently located right off I-83 if you're just passing through the area. A good location to stop if you like Ruby Tuesday, but I will not say you have to try a chain restaurant.

New menu isn';t much. We had the crabcakes. The price went up $2 and you get a trip to the salad bar. Their fruity ice teas are good and refillable. Crab cakes were nowhere near as good as our previous visit. Side dishes like asparagus, green beans, pea pods are atrocious. They advertise their cheese biscuits. They hand them out like they contain truffles and caviar. What's up with that? All in all, the new menu, food quality, and overall value means that my wife and I will not go back. And, we used to go there about once per month.

it is a ruby tuesday's, yes but it has a salad bar (fancy), amazing waitstaff (service), and food that far exceeds expectations of mediocrity

I have eaten here several times and always been very satisfied. I find it hard to digest the negative reviews here and surmise they were isolated incidents. I have always had excellent wait staff service and excellent chain food, better than the likes of others in the same class. Their burgers are superb, filet mignon excellent. Salad bar fresh and offering wonderful selections such as the apple salad and their Asian dressing and pumpernickel croutons. Sometimes the salad greens can be a bit fresher admittedly. Only negative experience was unrelated to the restaurant or food or servers....but rather to rude undisciplined kids adjacent to my booth but I still tipped well.

On December 26, my wife, mother in law and sister in law went to Ruby Tuesday for dinner. The service was terrible and slow. The waitress did not appear to be in the mood to be there. The food was cold and stale. The crab cake we ordered was a poor excuse for a supposed 12oz crab cake. Overall we were not satisfied, and complained to the manager, who took 25% off the bill. It will be a while before I return to this Ruby Tuesday.

Love the salad bar, but am disappointed they removed some of the items (chickpeas, beets). Used to love coming here for the salad bar and veggie rice burger, but that is no longer an option. And most of their side dishes have butter, so there is only one real option for vegans.
