Can you give less than one star? This was easily the worst meal I've ever had in my life. Should've been clued in when we were the only diners during dinner on a Saturday. I asked the waitress about a few items, she leaned in and whispered that they were bad. The cheese sticks looked like the bottom of 3 different bags of frozen garbage, all freezer-burnt. We got our sandwiches, they were inedible. We estimated our check, left money and a tip and went to another place for real food.

This place literally is a hole in the wall! Not only is it Dirty, but the cook on more than one occasion would eat while cooking n cough . not once did she was her hands. Everything in there is out dated and dirty from top to bottom! The wait staff was friendly, but you dressed very inappropriately. None of them matched and the only way you could tell that they weren't patrons was the apron. Food quality was horrible as well. I do not advise anyone to visit this place.

Just your average small classic American diner complete with table jukeboxes and old school furnishings. Food wasn't that great, just low quality diner food. What appeared to be the owner or manager was talking down to the waitress and being mean to her. Didn't appreciate the negative energy. I'd only go back if I was drunk or there was nothing else open.

Love the old diner feel! I'm always a fan of keeping roadside America alive. This is a cool little place to stop after passing all the chain restaurants on Route 30 heading west. As Yelp states this place is in fact A-OK.

I liked this joint! It's a very authentic diner, very inexpensive breakfast! And they have my scrapple!! I love it! Only complaint is that they only serve breakfast until 11am. What's the deal?!?! *grr* Next time I'll try to swipe a menu or something. They also have specials on a white board.

My dad used to take me here twice a year when we would be heading to Lancaster for a War Games convention when I was a child back in the early to mid 1990's. I absolutely loved this place back then, and couldn't wait for my next visit. They had the best Belgian waffles I'd ever had and the scrapple was amazing. So, recently my friend and I were in the area locally and we decided to stop here for breakfast before we left town. What the hell happened to the place?? I admit it had been several years since I had last been to the place, but when I went most recently, it seems everything had changed. A new owner had taken over the diner and the quality seems to have taken an absolute nosedive once that occured. Worse than that, when I got the menu, my beloved Belgian waffle was nowhere to be found. I wondered if we had been given the wrong menu, but no, it appeared to be the only menu they had, with breakfast, lunch and dinner on it. Out of everything on their menu the only thing that looked appealing at that point was the cheeseburger (for breakfast? Yup... it was 10 AM when we got there... and of what WAS on the breakfast menu, almost nothing looked appealing to me). Let me tell you about that burger, I get better cheeseburgers at McDonald's (and I don't even like to eat those, either). Thankfully my other favorite food item was still available on the menu, Scrapple! Here I thought the trip to the diner could be salvaged after all. Unfortunately, for the money it cost, this was the thinnest, crunchiest, worst tasting scrapple I'd ever had in my life. You'd think a Pennsylvania diner would get their most famous local dish correct. By the time I left the place, I was sickened enough to never want to go back. I should've just left my childhood memories back where they belonged and not have tried to relive them as an adult. It seems a shame that such a wonderful diner could be taken over and turned to absolute crap....I really hope the diner soon falls into the hands of someone who knows what they're doing and can turn the place around to bring it back to its former glory. Maybe in a few more years I'll give this place another chance if I start seeing positive reviews from them again.

If you're looking for quality, tasty food, don't go here. Everything we ordered had the quality of retirement home food - it was overcooked and completely underseasoned. The hash browns were especially bad: they were (overly)boiled potatoes that had been briefly warmed up on the griddle, with no butter or oil. I rarely meet a potato I don't love, and I couldn't eat more than one mouthful of this dish. The service was decent, but the place was somewhat dirty. The prices were low, but not low enough to make up for the terrible quality. We literally felt sick for the rest of the day after eating breakfast at Lee's.

I love the feel of this place. It's got a wonderful classic diner feel (and I'm from New Jersey, land of diner dedication). The food's solid and generously-portioned, and astonishingly cheap. No pretentions, nothing fancy, just good solid inexpensive food.

The most authentic classic diner I have ever been to. You order everything seperately (hamburger, fries, etc). The BEST milkshakes ever. Friendly service. They have bike nights and classic car nights which are really neat. Grab a bite if you're passing through.
