First time trying this place, first impressions were not that good. Called to order carryout. The person answered the phone, asked me to hold, then lays the phone down. I listen to everything going on in the background for 9 1/2 minutes, before I hang up. Try calling back, line is now busy. Called on the second line, and the same guy answers, then takes my order. I was told 1/2 hour to pick up. Arrived 27 minutes later. My meatball sub was just coming out of the over, and it looked delicious! My wings were just out of the fryer, sauced up and ready to go. I also ordered a bowl of their homemade cream of crab soup. A few things I discovered when I got home. The cream of crab soup, a bowl mind you, was packed in a 24 oz drink cup. Quite a large bowl, for $7.00. However, it was stone cold! Not room temperature mind you, but stone, right out of the refrigerator cold!! But, the chill aside, the cream of crab soup is absolutely delicious! Great seasoning, and not overly thick, like "crab gravy!" Next, I opened that delicious, out-of-the-oven meatball sub. It looked wonderful, but....for a sub that just came out of the over, it was not really that hot. More so, the mozzarella cheese, was only partially melted and stuck to the wrapping paper. Temperature aside, it did have a good flavor, in spite of it's right out of the freezer meatballs. The wings were crispy, meaty and had a great bourbon bbq sauce on them. Onion rings, were crispy, big, but nothing special, pretty much prepackaged beer battered. Overall, not too bad, but they need to step it up a bit, considering there is much competition around here!
