THE RUDEST, MOST OBNOXIOUS STAFF! The owners act like they could care less about their customers. They may have decent bagels but it's hard to give them any business when they are just so downright rude. One time recently, I stopped in before work and purchases bagels, cream cheese and butter for a breakfast we were having at the office. They refused to give me a few paper plates unless I paid extra for them! They never smile and barely say thank you. Wish there were other options in the area. We just don't get bagels as often because it's just too painful to give them any business!

If I could give this place six stars I would! Most consistently made delicious breakfast sandwiches on the main line. The staff doesn't mess around with unnecessary chatter, they get down to business cooking. Overall, 2 thumbs up!

Overrated over priced. The coffee is crappy . for the same price I'd go to delancy st bagel and know my food and coffee was going to be great. This place was much better when I was a kid and it was.ran by people who cared what they gave their customers to eat. Go to wawa for a breakfast sandwich it least it will be consistent.

Love their bagels, LOVE their egg sandwiches. I am a native manhattanite and these are just like absolute bagels on the upper west side (which means awesome). The ladies here are all business but if you chat with them they are totally friendly. And still cheaper than delancy.

I mean, the bagels are good and everything, but it's so expensive. I get bagels from there all the time and they don't even smile at me when I come in. They really need to work on their customer service. Gotta say though, I loooooove their hashbrowns.

Been here twice (thought my first time here was off because the woman was maybe just having an off day) and would never go again. The one in Roxborough is much nicer, cheaper, and friendlier--this one is by my house. The one in narberth is right near my job. The woman that works there (maybe owns it??) is extremely rude. She wouldn't even look over until five minutes had gone by. I had two coupons for free REGULAR size coffee on Mondays--one for me and one for my wife, who was in the car in her pjs. This woman didn't even say hi. I asked for two coffees--she looked down and said I could only get one coffee. When I said its for someone in the car, she said "only one per visit" (roxborough doesn't have a problem with this). Even so, if that's the rule, that's the rule, BUT she doesn't have to be so RUDE. I gave her the coupon and she slammed down a SMALL cup and walked away. SLAMMED!! Wtf. I'm guessing maybe she doesn't like coupons, since I used one the first time too and she was rude.... And they have a $7 card minimum. Great, even just mildly okay customer service, goes a long way..... this place has AWFUL service. They need to learn to be a little nicer to people and maybe customers will actually want to spend money in this establishment. Stay away from this place.

Bagels are much better than others nearby. Breakfast sandwiches are really good. Definitely not cheap. Coffee is good. Not very big and I wouldn't want to eat in. Parking can be a nightmare.

Good bagels, but insanely expensive. Almost $5 for meat, egg and cheese on a bagel?! Don't go without coupons. And be happy with efficient customer service with no warmth.

Definitely not a Manhattan bagel, but not that bad. Bagels alone are 2 stars. Really good coffee- making it 3 stars.

I like these bagels better than Delancey street and this place is so close to home. Wish they made Bialys. I have trouble finding them in Philly. Also they run out of the good flavors of bagels quickly. But to me, this place is vital for my Sunday morning ritual- give me the NY Post & Sunday New York Times, coffee and a toasted onion bagel with lox, cream cheese and tomato while watching CBS Sunday morning and I'm happy. YUM!

Ok, so what's up with the lack or REAL bagel places on the main line?...I mean, come on. How is it that nobody seems to notice or mind that this bagel store does not have a toaster?!! I've been reluctantly going to this Mahattan Bagel store for five years, simply because there is no other choice for "decent" bagels. The breakfast sandwiches are pretty good, but you have to get it on a cold bagel or one that was heated up on a baking tray in the oven for one minute. If anyone is interested in making a fortune...open a REAL bagel place anywhere on the main line and invest in a toaster.

Manhattan Bagel Co. reminds me of Noah's Bagels in San Francisco, and that happens to be a good thing. I've never had a bagel in NY, so maybe I don't know what I'm missing, but Manhattan's bagels and coffee are just what I'm looking for. Plus they have fresh-squeezed OJ, yogurt & granola, etc. Yum.
