The staff couldn't have been more friendly. The place was very clean and the atmosphere was nice and relaxed. The food reviews from our table were mixed. For starters we ordered the crab bisque soup and chicken nachos. The soup was essentially water with some flavoring and pieces of crab but the nachos were good. As for the entrees again the reviews were mixed. The chicken burrito was okay but very dry.

A colleague referred me to this place. It exceeded my expectations from the friendliness of the staff to the quality of the food. I will definitely have more visits!

This is our favorite new place. The food we had was all very good and service was attentive while not being intrusive. Even though we got there at 6:30 on a Friday night, they went above and beyond to seat us quickly. Even though there was a wait they also didn't rush us. And the food was great! So things to check out: Spring Rolls Nachos Quesadillas Sandwiches Burgers Things to avoid: Soups (chili is very sweet and other soups are very salty) Burrito

Good spot for happy hour if you work in the area. They have a good beer selection and all the food I had here was great. The only flaw with The Office is the location. It's in a really awkward location on Rt. 29. They have a really small parking lot, and on a Friday night after work, it fills up fast. They do have a someone working in the lot to help you find a spot, but it's still pretty frustrating. We ended up having to park across the street on Rt. 29 and take our chances crossing the street. Still, it's always nice to find a good bar in the suburbs. I'm sure we'll be back!

Good place for lunch but you better go early. This place packs up really fast!

I wasn't crazy about The Office, for a few reasons: the atmosphere & the food. Service was okay on the front end, but the food was seriously lacking. We went on a busy weekday and it was insanely LOUD! We settled into a booth and my co-worker ordered a crab cake and I ordered the ribeye sandwich special. The crab cake was raw inside and had to be sent back- the hostess and waitress were very apologetic, and the took it off her bill, which was much appreciated- and gave another to go. However, when she got it home, she realized that one was raw as well. She attempted to bake it but it did not ever solidify. My food fared slightly better. I ordered the ribeye sandwich; it was fully cooked but it was very rubbery (it looked like it had been boiled, not grilled), and the bun it was served on was quite soggy. I ended up taking it off the bun and ate it with a knife and fork, but there was no silverware on the table so I had to ask for it. Minor inconveniences, but the food was the deal-breaker for me. I will likely try it again, with co-workers or friends, but I will definitely avoid the crabcake.

Went here for dinner last night and loved the vibe of the restaurant! Multiple tvs with different games showing + a TV with trivia. Great line up of beers on tap. Had the tilapia salad and fried cheesecake. both were delicious (cheesecake is worth sharing). Definitely an awesome place to go with friends, coworkers or family.

Two words: Spring Rolls! This is the reason to visit The Office. Four different choices, these spring rolls are a great appetizer or entree or both! Great place with full bar and solid menu, this is the place I always make an effort to visit while in Malvern. Give them a try and you will be hooked.

One of our favorite stops. Good atmosphere for bar food. Staff is great. Come here quite often. Sandwiches, burgers, wings and drinks are top notch. The kids meals are a great value for that hungry kid.

My wife and I were waiting to pick our daughter up from a party and figured we would stop in for a quick dinner. I had not been here since it was Brownie. We were very please from the initial encounter with the bartender for some drinks to the waitress every one was very welcoming. I had the ham and bean soup as good as my Mom would make The nachos were great. We both had burgers that were great I had the Sam Adams cold snap but they had a good selection of beers The brownie desert was very good and I am not a desert person At the end the owner Kim came over to talk with us, a friendly person who rightfully takes pride in her establishment We will definitely be back

The food here is good, but the salads can be pricey. I love their Caesar wrap and hand cut fries. The seating is a little cramped when it's busy and it can get loud. Due to two entrances the temperature can fluctuate in the winter, so be prepared.

A friend and I stopped in to The Office for dinner on Thursday night at 7pm. It was hopping! Despite looking completely full, we were seated in a back booth that was great. Lots of corporate center professionals enjoying The Office after the office, as well as families having dinner. Everyone appeared to be enjoying themselves, because it was loud! More of a fun loud than an annoying loud, and after about an hour or so, it quieted down to a dull roar, which was perfect. The after work crowd thinned out considerably at the bar, and was replaced by several after-game adult softball teams. Four to five stars for the service- very attentive. Three stars for the food: Menu is great- something for everyone. We shared the mushroom rangoons, which were kind of burnt and tasteless. We each had a caesar salad, which was decent. ( kind of hard to mess up), My friend had chicken parm, and I had crabcakes. I asked if I could have coleslaw and fries instead of the potatoes and asparagus which normally come with it. The coleslaw was really great- really, really flavorful. The crab cakes were unfortunately a lot of filler/ breading and not much crab. Pan-fried, which I knew. I brought one of them home to eat later, and when I ate the second one, I cut it open to see how much crabmeat was in there. Not much. Not much at all... The service, atmosphere, obvious care and concern of the owners and servers makes up for the meh food, and maybe I just made the wrong choices. I look forward to going back and checking out some of the other items, since this was my first time there.

Great place to go for lunch during the work week but get there early to beat the rush. I've only been here once before for a happy hour and I think if I lived in the area I'd stick to cocktails & perhaps some bar food (I would try there wings - Who can mess them up?!). Went here this wk with a few co-workers. Staff was great-Friendly, attentive and they all worked together to service each other's tables. Food was eh. Nothing to write home about. I had a lunch special which was a light flakey fish with a wasabi dressing (yum), some fixings served on a roll. The fish was yummy and fresh but I think if would have been a five star if it was served minus bun & side salad. Though if it was served like such I may have substituted the salad for fries ;-)

Terrific, family-friendly restaurant. On our first visit, my husband and I left the kiddos at home for date night. We came on a Thursday night, not too crowded, got a table pretty quickly. The service was super - very quick and the server answered lots of questions (I have food allergies so I generally have to ask a lot of questions on a first visit). Food was delicious. Drinks menu was terrific, good selection of beer on tap. My second visit was without my husband but kids in tow. The kids were thrilled with the kids menu though my oldest opted out (she was *really* in the mood for a chicken burrito). We were in a bit of a rush because it was late and our server couldn't be more accommodating. The food was great. I had the veggie wrap and it was fresh and delicious. This was my second vegetarian option (last time, I got the veggie burger) and I was really happy both times. My kids and husband are big carnivores and appreciated the burgers. The chx burrito was pretty big so we took about half of it home (it was so good, my daughter asked if she could take it to school tomorrow). The restaurant was clean and the folks were so nice. There was coloring and activity mats for kiddos if you want (my oldest did not). The entertainment was pretty quiet, which I appreciate. We watched a bit of the Phillies game during dinner, I normally hate TVs in a restaurant but I give a pass on baseball. Definitely making this one of our regular spots. The kids were very complimentary (and my kids can be critics) and it was the kind of place that I feel like I could come back with or without the whole family.

This place is the perfect spot for me to grab a burger between work and class. I was happy to find the bartender was friendly, and quick to refill my cola. The burger I got was pretty good and the fries were excellent. I'm definitely becoming a regular.

Summary: Good food, good drinks, awesome atmosphere! Been here a bunch of times with my co-workers, and each time has been better than the last. First time, I was here for a sending-off party for one of our co-workers at my old job. We made him have one shot (or drink) for each year that he was with the company (poor guy had been there some 16+ years), so we were there for quite a while, getting progressively louder at our table for 10. Regardless, the servers were nice and helpful, and joined in on the game, supplementing our google searches for the most evil drinks in the land. That was a fun evening, and I vowed that I would be back for more. Second time I was here with a few friends from work for my own sending off party, and thankfully there were no decidedly evil twists for my send-off. Still, they actually remembered me (and the fact that I was a vegetarian) and made some suggestions for items that were new and helped us get squared away. Food came out fast, was nice and fresh (you can easily taste it), and we had a wonderful time. My most recent visit was a few weeks ago as a welcome lunch (for me) at my new job. Yeah. I switched jobs, and ended up moving to a company half-a-mile down the road. Talk about awkward phases of nostalgia when getting to work every morning. Anyways, I was remembered as usual, our nice and friendly server made some playful banter about me not wanting to leave the area, and we had another great time. Veggie panini was phenomenal, and the food came out quick even though the place was relatively full with the area's office lunch crowd. Another great visit! Pro Tip: Get the half-and-half - it's really good!

Warm and friendly staff complement the wide variety of tap beer and menu items. Great neighborhood spot tucked into a quiet corner in Malvern. Good variety on the menu that rivals any other local place. Clean and inviting; hat tip to the proprietors.

I have been here more than a few times for lunch and for drinks following work. Atmosphere is very comfortable and pub like. The staff including the owners are super friendly and helpful. Their soups are awesome and lunch menu is more than anyone could ask for. Try the fries, hand cut and cooked perfectly. Have not been in for dinner but would expect it to be as good as lunch. Only down side is that the seating in the dining area is tight. In my opinion a small negative to a really good stop. A great remodel of an old hole in the wall bar. I'm quickly becoming a regular.

Although his place is not that big inside it has little nooks and cozy corners to talk with friends and co-workers. The bar is a large square and has plenty of room. A few steps down to the main dining room and it gets a little cramped as they have tried to squeeze in as many tables and chairs as they could in the small place. The food is decent but could include a little more than a small bag of chips maybe fries? Speaking of their fries... they are hand cut type that a fried perfectly and come in a funny cone. just like the boardwalk. Too bad they do not offer some malt vinegar. Parking at this place is tricky. They are located on a weird corner which makes parking hard to find during happy hour times during the week. Try to go as early as possible. Would be 5 stars if they expanded to the 2nd floor. Just tell your significant other you have to stay late at the "Office".

If you're looking for a good watering hole after a long day at the office, this casual but above average bar spot will fit the bill. Everything from nice, clean decor to great service to friendly clientele and actually very good food for the price. Flat screen TVs are in every room so you can't miss the latest game scores. All in all, it was my first time there to see some great friends and I will definitely be returning.

Visited yesterday, a slow Monday night. First of all, it was terribly cold. 75 degrees outside does not require blasting AC. I asked the waitress if she or her manager could turn it down twice, but nothing seemed to happen. We waited almost 40 minutes for our entree's, even though the dining room was only filled maybe 60%. When the food finally came, my Penne Alfredo with roasted vegetables had some sort of cole slaw dumped on top of it. I sent it back, and the manager came over to say that the chef put the stir fry vegetables on my pasta instead. If you are going to have limited kitchen staff, at least make them competent. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.

Went there for an open mike, and was amazed at what I found. Kim and her husband (owners) worked the dining room and the bar to ensure that the patrons were pleased with their food, their drink and the service. If every establishment had this sort of tender loving care, there would be no need for Yelp. I highly recommend The Office.....and I'm an out-of-town curmudgeon.

Service is very nice. Restaurant is clean. Sauce for hot wings wasn't anything special which was disappointing because they were cooked perfectly. Cheesesteak spring rolls were great. Bacon on BLT was over cooked. Potato skins were great. Not busy for a Saturday lunch. Overall ok experience

Was in town on a business trip and the hotel recommended this spot for dinner. My first issue was ordering the pineapple margarita. DIS. GUST. ING. Tasted a lot like rubbing alcohol with zero pineapple flavor at all. However, my waitress removed it and replaced it with a glass of wine and I was not charged. For dinner I ordered the bruschetta which as pretty good but served on a bed of iceberg lettuce (weird and wilty) and was a little heavy handed on the raw garlic - instead of being rubbed on the bread as it should be, it was chopped up in the tomatoes. Then I had the tortellini. It was ok. Nothing to write home about, a little bland. If I'm back in town I may go back due to simple proximity to my hotel but it wasn't awesome.

We are in Malvern for work all week. The first night we went to Mackenzie's for dinner. The food was mediocre, the service was terrible. Came to The Office the second night. Doesn't even compare. Brittany was our server, she was phenomenal. Kim, the owner, was very nice. For dinner I had a simple buffalo chicken sandwich with bacon. Fabulous. For desert, I had the chipwich. A huge scoop of ice cream sandwiched between two chocolate chip cookies. Fantastic. The whole night was so enjoyable we came back a second night. Different server, Patty, same great service. Same great sandwich. My friends had crab cakes, chicken tortellini, and crab shrimp macaroni and cheese. All were exceptional. If we were here another night, we would come back again.

Change of heart with this place. The owner is very sweet and seems to have genuine interest in customer satisfaction but after an eye roll from the server and the eh ok food-I'm gonna pass the next time someone suggests this place.

Great atmosphere with a friendly staff! The bar is well stocked and their cocktails are delicious! I got the sweet-tea-tini and loved it! They have a wide variety of draft beers and are up to date on the seasonal brews. I ordered a speciality menu item but I really didn't like it. The manager noticed I wasn't touching my plate and came right over to hear my feedback. I didn't even have to call her over. The manager was quick to fix the mistake and instead I had the tomato bisque which was great! The owners Frank and Kim even came over to ask me about the original dish and apologized! All of them were professional and made sure to correct everything on the bill. I have to say I will definitely go back! Their "pub style" menu items were really good. I had the buffo chicken tenders and they tasted great and so were the honey BBQ wings! I recommend dining here the hospitality was wonderful!

I've visited here several times in the past year for lunch. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The food quality is excellent. On one occassion, our server overheard our conversation about a departing team member, and brought that person a slice of cake with a candle to celebrate. Well done!

Came here for lunch with the work crew. But I won't bore you with many details. Let's just talk about the food, shall we? I tried three different things off of the menu. They have an OK deal with a half panini and soup for $9. I was able to get their sweet three bean and pork chili with the deal. It's a very sweet chili which tastes more like a sugary barbecue sauce than spicier chili. Normally that wouldn't be my type of thing. However, I must say it surprisingly worked for me. The half panini was fine, just a turkey and swiss. But, I thought it was a little small even for a half. The side of their hand cut fries though was tremendous. And they give you a smaller side portion for just 2 bucks extra. It made up for the small panini in my mind. Noticing some of the other dishes my co-workers had, there appeared to be a really good mac and cheese dish with some seafood in it. The chicken parmigana sandwich seemed to be popular. It all came in at around $12 before tip. I've had cheaper lunches, and more expensive ones. The food and atmosphere were definitely worth another visit. And I'm sure if someone held an after work happy hour here I wouldn't complain.

I had some folks in from out-of-town and the Office has been highly recommended several times. Owner Kim greeted us graciously and warmly - think "Cheers" level friendly. I believe this IS a place where everybody knows your name (eventually) and is glad you came. That is worth a lot. The service was very friendly, fun and hustled. Decent beer selection. The food was uniformly "A-Ok" (or B-Ok, maybe C-Ok). I enjoyed their take on Buffalo Wings. Modestly, not a destination or dining experience. Measured up to local competitors like Twenty9, the Office is friendlier, cozier and prices are better. The menu is far less ambitious. I'll go back for happy hour, burger or apps. I think they have hit their mark to be a neighborhood sports bar.

My family eats here all the time for several reasons. The owners Frank and Kim have created an amazing atmosphere. There attention to detail shows their commitment to making all who eat and drink are happy. The entertainment on Saturdays consists of a great lineup of musicians. The games are always on! The entire staff is friendly and always provide a high level of service. We eat lunch and dinner there often and would have breakfast there if it was offered. Thanks Frank and Kim see you soon!
