Beautiful B&B just steps to Bucknell University. Our room was spotless, decorated nicely and had a comfortable queen bed and flat screen TV. Nice bathroom stocked with Gilbert & Soames toiletries. Free WiFi. The breakfast was great- fruit, yogurts, wonderful scones and homemade jams. Host Bob was friendly and welcoming. Overall I can't recommend highly enough!

My stay was wonderful. I say wonderful even though my room was too cold. By the time i got the room, took a warm shower to get warmer, and got under the covers, i was too tired to complain and eventually fell asleep. in the morning, i was asked if the room ever heated up. i said no. bob immediately refunded the entire night's stay to my credit card. i still ate breakfast. the fresh blueberry muffins were heavenly. i chatted at breakfast with other interesting guests. i stayed another few hours finishing up some work, taking advantage of the free wifi. i was even offered another free night to stay since my previous night was uncomfortable. i will def stay here again on another trip to lewisberg. and it's literally around the corner from the main strip. great location, great hosts, great muffins.

We enjoyed a 3 night stay at the Tawsty Flower. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and need to figure out how to stay there during parent weekend....impossible. The owners are wonderful people who care about their guests. The inn is warm and welcoming and we all slept well.

Excellent place to spend the night! Owners are friendly and helpful but don't hover, the rooms--and especially the beds--are very comfortable, and the breakfast was amazing: perfectly fresh fruit, fresh-baked scones, and good coffee. And it's within easy walking distance to everything in the downtown area. If I were anywhere near Lewsiburg looking for a place to stay, I would go out of my way to get a room here.

I had a wonderful stay here last weekend during a visit to Bucknell. The location is great as it is right near main street, and the owners were friendly, The house itself was beautiful, and it had a great "home away from home" type feel that you don't get in chain hotels. I would definitely stay here again and recommend the Tawsty Flower to other Lewisburg visitors.

Just returned from my stay at Tawsty Flower for the PIAA swim meet. This was the perfect place to stay, a 10 minute walk to Bucknell was so convenient. The room was very clean and Bob the owner was extremely personable, and a pleasure to talk to. A computer / printer in the lobby was a bonus for me as I had some work to do, the breakfast had a nice selection of fresh fruit plus additional goodies and was very tasty. All ready booked for next year, can't wait to enjoy downtown Lewisburg again.

Stayed here to cut in half a long drive. Super clean. Super nice owners. Very reasonable price. Awesome location in walking distance to everything in town. One observation: the breakfast is typical though good quality serve-yourself stuff. Fresh fruit. Some cereals, muffins, etc. If that's what you are expecting, you won't be disappointed. Somehow I got it in my head we'd be served a gourmet breakfast, but looking back on the place's website, there's nothing at all about the breakfast. So just know what to expect.

We enjoyed our stay here - gracious hosts, perfect location (between Market and Bucknell campus), comfortable rooms. The hosts pay great attention to detail with the rooms and the continental breakfast hits the spot. Felt like home.

We came upon this place by chance. We had a project trip and all the usual corporate places we stay at were booked because of something going on at Bucknell University. We are so glad we found this place! From now on we are ditching the hotels and will be staying at the Tawsty Flower every time we are in town. The house is beautiful and decorated well with not too much clutter. It had all the amenities of the places we usually stay at, plus a staff that cares. The innkeepers are professional and courteous, and the breakfasts were delicious. The house is only steps away from good restaurants and bookstores. Yet it is tucked on a lovely side street which is much quieter than the main drag. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting for business or pleasure.
