Meh. Really unexciting. ---------- FOOD: Its a chinese buffet. Its an ok selection, but it was kind of boring. Nothing really unique or special going on.. DECOR: Again its a chinese buffet. So the theme is... chinese and a buffet. :-P Otherwise its a decent restaurant. SERVICE: Pretty good. The staff was friendly and prompt. --------- WOULD I GO AGAIN? Naaa. It was ok, just not memorable.

I've been to this Chinese Buffet a few times, and George is on the money with this one again - it's just okay. This buffet is very close to my office, however, so it makes for a very convenient stop for lunch when Chinese is on the mind. The peanut butter chicken is pretty good. I make sure I get it every time I go. I would go here if you are looking for a standard chinese buffet with the standard fare. For better tasting chinese, I've heard of better places to go and I've eaten better chinese, too.

Well, its slightly bigger than the one in Columbia, but honestly, they're consistent, friendly and its a bit cheaper. Hot food, but not as much as I would wanna eat. All in all, I'll go here sometimes really. Well, an update. The next day, mom was sick all day. She ate the Roasted Chicken, which I did not eat. She believes its food poisoning. Not sure if it really is or something else, but now I gotta be more cautious when I go to this one.

The Peking Buffet is pretty basic for the size of their restaurant. It seldom has many people in it at once. The price at lunch time is about $7, less than the $11 at dinner, although there is no difference in the food offered between the two. This is a buffet, so you'll want to catch it at just the right time, when they're putting out fresh stuff for the mealtimes. I've been there in between, and they just leave everything to sit, turn brown and soft, and generally become unappealing. At least once I've walked in, looked at the buffet, and walked out again. The fare is very predictable and never changes. They do offer dessert (fruit) and sushi rolls with wasabi available. The main fare is what you expect -- rice, lo-mein, chicken with broccoli, pepper steak, eggrolls and spring rolls, soup, and various other stuff like that. The meat in the pepper steak is very low grade, like rubber to chew. This is strictly a quick in-and-out place for me, and I would not take anybody here. There are better Chinese buffets around here, and much better Chinese restaurants in general.

The ONLY Chinese buffet in Lancaster I will frequent. The food is consistent, the staff is friendly and have "better" English skills, prices are fair, and they're CLEAN! Never read a bad inspection report for this place like the other Chinese Buffets in the area. The décor is not my taste level but typical of Chinese establishments. For even more bang for your buck check the local Consumer's Eye or Clipper magazine as they always run coupons.
