Had some fabulous Pho with glass noodles and meatballs and shrimp egg rolls for lunch today. You DONT come here for the atmosphere as it's nothing to look at. But the service is good and the food is great. The menu offers a lot of great variety. Everything seems very fresh and piping hot. We will definitely be back again! It could really be a awesome if they have the interior and exterior some additional sprucing.

Worst experience ever. I am from R.I. and stopped by to have lunch before we leave home. The waitress sits us in front of a photo of bubble tea just to tell me they dont have any in the restaurant. I ordered the grilled pork chops with shredded pork skin and white rice just to find out they dont serve pork chops??? My day is ruined and I will now settle for some pho' & fresh spring rolls.

I got a vermicelli bowl with shredded pork skin, char grilled pork, and eggrolls to go. However, very disappointed. When I opened up my box, everything looked thrown in together. The meat and eggrolls were not even placed neatly nor appetizing at all! The pork was chopped up into 6 small eraser pieces and 3 small pieces (not whole pieces) of eggroll scattered individually over the slob of vermicelli noodles. For the price of $9.25 plus tax, there was not enough meat to even finish the vermicelli noodles. Not only that, but at the time I went, the restaurant wasn't busy, so I'm confused on why my order was like this.

The worst $40 I spent in a long time! We ordered from the vegan men. A bowl of rice noodle soup with no tofu was $8 something, and the stir fry veggie plate was ALL cabbage with maybe two pieces of broccoli was $9 something! A kettle of tea was over priced too! Never again...

I don't know if it's just because I OD'd on R&N, but now I prefer this place. The menu is a bit broader, with a wider variety of interesting offerings. It's more authentic too, I think, with greater depth of flavor in the dishes. The fresh rolls and special fish soup for 2 at R&N are superior, otherwise I think everything at Le Viet Bistro is better. I only eat seafood though, so I can't speak of the other meaty dishes.

Really good vegan options and the flavors are great! We live over an hour away and have been there 2 times in the last month. I have had a few of the tofu dishes, and my wife has had a few shrimp dishes. We like this place so much, we are looking for something similar much closer to home, and after looking for 35 minutes, I am thinking we are heading back to this place again. This is a small place and can get busy quickly, but the staff keeps up with the crowd and the service is really good. We love this place.

Really great lunch. Fresh, fast. I wish more people tried Vietnamese food. It's very good. Glad it's close to work. I'll be a regular for sure.

I love this Vietnamese restaurant. 95% of the time my boyfriend go out to eat, it's here. The pork and shrimp crepe is my absolute favorite. I also regularly order the lemongrass beef and yellow onion vermicelli noodle bowl and pan fried noodles. The egg rolls are delicious too. I've never had a bad meal here and the Service is always friendly and prompt. Food comes out as it's done so don't expect multiple orders to come out together. I recommend the optional pork knuckle on any of the soups that offer it. I'm addicted to this place.

Edit: has gone downhill. And by downhill I mean my last lunch there included shrimp that must have been cooked the day before. Tasted rotten and had the texture of a baseball glove. Not going back. Has quickly become one of my go-to lunch spots. I find the Pho to be rich and flavorful. I order the Pho as take-out on occasion and the add-in non-liquid ingredients are always packaged separately which is especially nice since the beef doesn't get overcooked. The noodle bowls are a favorite and always fresh and flavorful. I've had them with the grilled pork, the shredded pork and egg rolls. All were very good. Service is always prompt and friendly.

This place was just okay before and is getting better and better. I would say this is the best Vietnamese restaurant in Lancaster, not the best ever, but the best around. The broken rice with charbroiled pork I ordered was great! Pair it with delicious jasmine tea with lychee jelly.

The Pho was okay. There wasn't much flavor to it, so I found myself adding lots of ingredients to it to make it edible. The bahn mi was okay, I prefer traditional bahn mis with all the toppings in there. I was disappointed there weren't any jalapeños or pate in my grilled pork bahn mi. The grilled pork wasn't what I expected either. I was hoping for s smoky flabor and a nice char. But it was moist, and kind of fatty. I remember taking a bite and all I had in my mouth was a huge chunk of fat. The shrimp eggroll was surprisingly pretty good. It was no nothing but pure shrimp and delicious. But the service was horrible. My cousin ordered tge fried tofu and our waiter brought him the beef and potatoes stir fry. After he (the waiter) realized it was the wrong order, he came back and took it away and then walked it over to the right table... he didn't even get him a new plate. Took it right off our table and brought it to the next. When they brought out the appetizers, they didn't even bring us plates, I had to ask for them. After dinner I went to the counter to purchase macaroons, and while reaching in to grab me a batch, the waiter grabbed a larger batch because it was the closest to him, after realizing that, he quickly put it back and gave me the smallest. Lets just say that I would probably never go back. The food was okay, nothing special.

We were really sad that it was no longer Tsunami, as that was our fave sushi restaurant (most progressive) in Lancaster. Our disappointment quickly turned to excitement when we had the pho there. It was near perfect! We have been all over Vietnam and my husband the chef is super-picky about his pho. The flavor was complex, with a perfect mix of salty, sour, and sweet - it came pretty darn close to his fave pho in Ho Chi Minh City. Even their fried rice was flavorful, chock full of shrimp and roast pork. My favorite though, was their lemongrass beef over rice noodles - so fragrant! Service was very friendly and competent. It is our new fave Vietnamese restaurant in Lancaster now.

Excellent new and affordable Vietnamese bistro with dishes from all parts of Vietnam. Original family restaurant was in Saigon and then in California. Try the grilled shrimp spring rolls stuffed with bean sprouts and basil with peanut dipping sauce. They are the best ever!!!

Good flavor on the beef pho. Plenty of everything. Other diners has seafood and chicken soups and one beef dinner plate. Chicken broth seemed a bit weak but everything else was without complaint. My pho was great.

We really enjoy Le Viet Bistro. There service is wonderful and the pictures on the back of the menu a real help in ordering. Our server also offered very good suggestions - the crab was outstanding and I really liked the spring roll. We've been back twice and each time the selections have been tasty and fresh. We appreciate the family atmosphere and attention to detail and think the prices are very reasonable for what is served.
