We were pleased to see IHOP open since Golden Corral was closed and we were wanting something sweet. Our waiter, Aaron, was kind enough to let me order off of the kid's menu and I was excited to try the chocolate chip pancake (Funny Face Jr face optional, but I went for it!). It was huge! I don't know if Aaron asked for a larger order than normal? The semi-sweet chips were abundant, the pancake was stuffed with the chips. Such a satisfying experience! BP ordered Swedish crepes with lingonberries. They were sweet and also tart. The crepes were soft and had a melt-in-your-mouth quality. BP also ordered a single scrambled egg, which was fluffy and tasty, albeit a small portion (it was just one egg!).

    - 25 minutes waiting to be served - EVERY waiter just looked and walked away - Not even water was given to us - 2 groups after us got served right away - 1 waiter checked on only one table the whole time we waited, there's no way that was her only table S

I love IHOP, but this location has a long way to go before it receives a better review from me. My sisters and I went here for dinner during the week. There were one or two other tables that were leaving as we ordered, but despite the place being empty the service was slow and lousy. It took way too long to order and the staff seemed disorganized. Still, I can't knock them too hard. They do carry boysenberry syrup. *Rumor has it an IHOP is coming to Harrisburg.

NOTE THIS STAR IS FOR THE SERVICE ONLY NOT THE FOOD... food was AWESOME 5 STARS.... pancakes, bacon, crepes, eggs, hash browns, were fantastic which makes me shake my head if the cooks got the memo on customer service why didn't the the waitresses get that memo too??? For someone who lives off of their tips you'd think the smiles would never leave their faces..I'm normally a strong tipper isn't nothing for me to drop 20 to 50 percent on a good waitress but I'm sorry a tip is earned not expected so tell the cooks keep moving forward as for the the wait staff time to go back to training NOTE: this review was not for everyone I just did not want to single anyone out but you know who you are.

We went there at dinner time because all the other restaurants nearby were super crowded and the wait was over an hour, and IHOP's wait was just minutes. Fat and sugar are relatively easy to be made into something delicious but they manage to ruin even that. The sirloin tips was a salty and greasy tar-like mess. The oil and vinegar that came with the salad smelled like some really old kitchen stain. I understand this is a breakfast restaurant but didn't expect they could deliver such rubbish. Hey, we didn't ask them to make anything that's not in their menu.

My food was cooked to order, which is harder then it looks...but service was good (very nice waitress Tina), and great as always, from NJ so good to know I can go to ihop anywhere

More like a GHOP (Ghetto House of Pancakes) Staff was frightening & MIA only to return reeking of what I hope was cigarette smoke Asked for a glass of water, it was cloudy & tasted funny (probably drainage from the water slides next door at Dutch Wonderland.) Pancakes were small, 2 to a stack & hardly any toppings other than the 3 gelatinous strawberries. No hot syrup (c'mon that is usually an IHOP standard) Lastly the black hair in the pancake was the last straw (oh yea didn't get those either) Only plus, lots of seating due to no one wanting to go to this imposter. Don't do it, unless you like eating hair & chain smoke.

Good food, good atmosphere (keeping in mind this is a family place - my friend complained about a "screaming child" on the other side of the room, but I noticed no such child). The waitress did, however forget my friend's hash browns and we didn't see her for another 10 minutes. We had to ask another waitress and when ours finally brought them, she didn't apologize. This was the only issue with the service we had. Try the boysenberry syrup! So good!

Okay, here goes. My first time going to this IHOP. Family & friends gathering for breakfast. Granted it's Fathers Day. It started out about an hours wait. The coffee was strong, just the way I like it. The scrambled eggs were cold, the bacon I didn't ask for was rubbery. I bought it to the helps attention who then came back with the day before rubbery ham. I don't even want to guess where the glasses of water came from, it was hard. She kept forgetting things and had the only nerve to be sarcastic. I lost count of how many times she reached over my plate. This isn't like IHOP at all. Very disappointed. Think I'll take a break from IHOP for a while.

Stopped out for breakfast this morning (Saturday around 9:30am). The waiting area was standing room only and my wife and I were told there would be a 30 minute wait. Our table was available in just 15 minutes. Once we were seated we were almost immediately greeted by the most fantastically friendly waitress (Kyra). She took our order and shortly after our order was brought out. Our breakfasts were perfect. Both Kyra and the manager stopped by to see how everything was. Despite how busy they were, nobody missed a step. Can't wait to go back again!

Soccer tournament with a thousand kids and their staff handled it beautifully. Great service with a smile is hard to find.

I don't like to do chains ever!!! But since it's a Monday and this was one of the closest things by I gave it a whirl. Server was pleasant and nice. Not very confident but nice. There weren't many patrons in the place. Maybe 5 other tables. 2 which had came in after us. The 2 tables that came in after us received their meals before ours. We weren't too upset but the fact our breakfast took over 35 minutes to come out was a tad ridiculous. Eggs were cold and no cheese was found like the description had said. Hash Browns were terrible!! Half burnt and cold!! Surprising to me that there weren't many people that our food took long and came out cold and disappointing. The only thing that was semi decent was the french toast with berries. Even that was cold though. Won't be back unless absolutely necessary.

This iHop is getting 5 stars for their service. There is a ton of seating in the wait area and the manager on duty was handing out menus to those of us waiting. Out waitress, Ashley was outstanding! She was friendly and treated us like we were her only table in this crowded restaurant. Anything we needed was completed accurately and quickly! Typical iHop food. This particar location was very clean and the decor was nice.

Had breakfast here this morning, had a table reserved for 12 people at 11 o'clock, waited for at least 30 mins before she brought all our drinks and took our order. The food was great once it finally all came out after waiting for almost another hr. At 1 o'clock we were still waiting on our checks after being done eating for at least 15 mins!!! I'm a server myself and realize sometimes it takes a little longer to serve a big party but seriously!! Sitting in a restaurant for 2 hrs?! That's ridiculous and poor management in my opinion!

Went there for breakfast today. Got there at 8:30 wasn't very busy, my dad and I ordered our food nothing over the top just pancakes and an omelet. An hour and a half later our food arrives. They didn't give my dad his milk that he ordered. The waitress was nice but spacey. Good food if you want to wait

Horrible horrible horrible. Waited 45mins for out food. The excuse.... They had 2 parties of 10 arrive prior to us... The entire rest of the restaurant was put on hold to accommodate the large parties. Poor. No silverware at our table - once they brought the food out. Had to wait for that. No butter for my pancakes.

Had dinner here because the other nearby Restuarants had over an hour wait. Guess I should have known then anyway the dinners we got were gross!! We didn't get pancakes so don't know what they are like but if they are like their dinners then we will not be coming back

Went on a Sunday morning. Got in faster than expected and service was fast. However, I ordered chocolate chip pancakes, and they brought plain pancakes with a handful of chocolate chips on top. When I questioned the server, she assured me that's how they come. That is insane IMO. I've NEVER heard of any kind of "flavored" pancake being a plain pancake with the flavor on top. I think they forgot and tried that to cover up. The server took them back and 10 mins later brought out some cold pancakes with a minimal amount of chips inside. Seems like a fairly easy item that shouldn't be so complicated.

I will say this, I've only eaten at this franchise once when I went to the beach in Rehobeth, and I had to wait until the crowd died a bit before eating here. But I was impressed with how it looks on the inside. The food, I ordered the country fried steak, and I wasn't sure I could finish it all with the pancakes, eggs and hashbrowns you get with it. Really, this is a good place to get pancakes. I'd like to try it for dinner sometime.

Checked out the IHOP in Lancaster fro breakfast with a group of 10 people. The place is tastefully decorated and that morning was heavy with wait staff. We placed our order and we were quickly given our beverages. After 30 minutes later, we had another friend join us. They placed their order and 10 minutes later was served. The waiter said he would check on our order and he returned with it. However our order came in pieces. Anything served on separate plates drifted in. I was almost done my omelet before the toast showed up. Others received hash browns and side ordered pancakes the way my toast came. My toast was cold and so were the side ordered hash browns. The waiter was telling us that IHOP at this location will be open for 24 hrs after the kinks on the 1st two shifts are worked out. The food was standard IHOP fare so service is the only way you can judge a chain. The service here needs some improvement. We left full and had an enjoyable time visiting with everyone in the group. I may go back at a later date since I love breakfast food. However I will give them some time to work on service. The wait staff were very friendly none the less. This IHOP has a good location just west of the outlets on Lincoln Hwy. There is a traffic light to help on on and off Lincoln HWY.
