As a former Long Islander, I can attest to the fact that the bagels, sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches and coffee at Grand Central are top notch. Run very efficiently through the steady guidance of "Deb" you can never go wrong here when looking for a satisfying breakfast, lunch or snack. The owner is involved with every detail from the dough used for the bagels to the richness of the coffee offered. A true winner in Lancaster!!

Great enthusiasm from the worker bees at this place. And there were many people working here because this place is packed! I felt as if people were banging down the door to get in here Saturday morning. Lots of bagel optiosn to choose from. My husband and I both got the jalapeno cheddar bagels with meat/cheese/egg. I got bacon (far superior) and he got sausage (he said it lacked some "kick" to it). Both were decent breakfast sandwiches. Being from NY, I cannot give this bagel place 5 stars, even though the name of the place implies the bagels are NY-like. Cute place though. If i lived close to here, I'd be here every weekend!

I seriously love this place. They take great pride in their food. I love the omelet wraps, breakfast bagel sandwiches (their everything bagels are amazing), their seasonal hummus wraps, the Italian sandwich and also their soup. The only gripe is finding a spot to sit if you're dining in. A bigger spot would be awesome!

Just visited the cafe and really enjoyed my first experience! Coffee, espresso beverages, and smoothies are priced average for a coffee shop and sandwiches are between $6-8. Customer service is okay. Great cafe to grab a coffee and go or catch up with a friend over breakfast or lunch!

LOVE coming here in the morning for a fresh bagel with all the workings! I love their chocolate chip, blueberry, and poppyseed bagels! I always have gotten breakfast there, but I would love I try their lunch sometime! Their coffee is also pretty good and I would love to try their smoothies sometime! Can't wait to come back for more!

Good menu, good service, wonderful variety, very tasty selections, and the prices are fair. Can have long lines but they go pretty quick. Can get a bit noisy. They have wifi so it is a nice meeting place for short business meetings. The staff is great!

Best sandwich in Lancaster county. Friendly Staff and great coffee

Second floor provides a nice quiet area while first floor is hopping with people in and out. Their green tea latte is great. I'll have to get some food next time.

Reliable lunch spot!! Great food. Deli/sandwich spot with homemade soups, salads, sandwiches, bagels and their own pastries!! Great service and Deb keeps the line moving - don't be scared away if there is a line, it only b/c it's just small & a popular place. There is an upstairs room for overflow or quieter seating, and outside tables when it is nice. Not a quiet spot if you have any hearing issues, but a great spot for a relaxing lunch. I use it as a backup office to be able to work and eat.

Had bagel with real lox, cream cheese, capons, etc. It was fantastic, just like New York City! A wide variety of bagel choices handmade fresh daily plus a variety of cream cheese, deli salads, veggies and meats to go on the bagels. My favorites are jalapeno and everything bagels plus the jalapeno cream cheese. They have pastries and other items too. Great for my daily cream cheese and bagel habit. Went back the following morning and had the egg salad on toasted everything bagel with lettuce and a jalapeno bagel with lox spread, both just great. The big negative - They have a $5 minimum to use a credit or debit card. For me that is a foul and worth at least one, maybe 3 stars for. I found out this place has been in business for 20 years. I guess that speaks for itself and they are on track for another 20.

So pleased I was brought here by friends! The line was out the door when we got here but we were eating within 30 minutes. I ate a delicious toasted everything bagel BLT w avocado SO GOOD! Have to say it was a tad bit expensive for a bagel shop though. For my BLT w medium coffee it was $10.

Great place for breakfast, brunch or lunch! Good, clean, inviting atmosphere. Food is always consistently good. Coffee drinks vary due to who makes them :-( But food is always good!

Best bagels in Lancaster county as far as I'm aware! And I've tested out plenty ;). The everything bagel is perfection and the super cinnamon is a close runner up. I also love the homemade bagel chips they bag up and sell. The breakfast sandwiches are great and the coffee is pretty swell. They get pretty packed at times but the service is always pleasant and running as quickly/smoothly as possible. Definitely a Lancaster county favorite!

They won't take a credit card payment unless it's a minimum $5 order, which is a big turn off and I've heard many customers complain about this. The owner is also not a friendly person and I've often seen her be cruel to employees. Good bagels but atmosphere has a lot of room for improvement.

I very quickly fell in love with this place. I've only ever had their coffee drinks (The chocolate covered strawberry latte around VDay is amazingg), but the food all looks delicious too! The one older lady who sometimes works the cash register can be a little sour, but the rest of the service is great! They have an awesome rewards punch card and the setting upstairs is the perfect place to hideaway and get work done or have a private chat. I just wish they were open later! It'd be a great evening hangout...

I had lunch here and enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. It's nice nside, and outside tables OK too if the day is nice

Delicious bagels, great breakfast sandwiches, pasteries, coffee... Everything is phenominal. The area upstairs is nice to just chill and relax with a coffee. The only only ONLY complaint I have is that it's a little noisy and can get crowded during the brunch rush.

The people who claim that the bagels here are "real New York bagels" have obviously never had a real New York (or New Jersey, for that matter) bagel. The bagel you got at the Dunkin' Donuts near Rock Center when you went to see the Christmas tree 7 years ago doesn't count. As a carb-aholic from New Jersey where the bagels reign supreme, I consider myself a bagel connoisseur. Sure, Grand Central might satisfy the desires of PA-folk by slapping the New York theme on everything and calling it a day, but for those of us looking for the tiny ray of hope that a decent bagel can exist in Lancaster County, this place was a disappointment. Don't get me wrong, the bagel was okay, and the cream cheese was good... Nothing tasted bad, but I was hoping for something authentic. I can't say much about the other food/sandwiches/whatever here, because I only came here for a bagel with cream cheese, and I don't think I'll be going back.

I started a new job nearby and come here during the busy lunch hour and have always had great service. The line moves fast, and the food is delicious! BoarsHead meats keep the price up a little but worth it! They must be doing something right because it's always busy and there is an Isaac's deli next door!

Blown away by the bagels here...stopped in on Saturday and got an everything bagel with garlic/herb cream cheese and it was fantastic. I know a real NY bagel here in Lancaster sounds unlikely but this place is for real. Bagel was fresh, had great flavor and cream cheese was good too. Had a house blend coffee and that also did not disappoint. Ordered a bakers dozen of bagels (9.99) for my freezer. So far have had the Cinnamon Crunch (divine...like a huge bagel size of cinnamon toast crunch cereal - very dense) and sundried tomato. They had about 20 varieties of bagels I think? Can't wait to go back and try a bagel lunch or breakfast sandwich!

Great coffee and sandwich shop. A little larger then your average coffee shop but still very 'chic,' as my gf would say. Prompt even when the business lunch rush is pressing, and a well executed and varied menu. Always leave with bagels and some homemade cream cheese- that's the best part of the experience.

Great place; I went here with a group of friends for breakfast and we were all very happy. The bagels here are amazing. The variety of flavors for bagels were good, along with the coffee beverages as well. Highly recommend!

good food and nice staff. in the mornings and all day on the weekends it gets a little crowded and you have to grab and go. over all though its worth it.

I have never had anything here that wasn't delicious. Amazing soups, fresh baked bagels & breads, perfect for breakfast or lunch! Can get a little pricy for a soup/sandwich combo but so worth it!

Best bagel sandwiches hands down. My girlfriend always gets the classic bagel sandwich with bacon on a multigrain bagel, toasted and buttered. I am partial to the classic with sausage on an everything bagel. YUM! They make their bagel's here and they are delicious. Check this place out!

Bagels were ok but after only a couple hours they turned really chewy, kinda pricy as well.

Hands-down, Grand Central has the best bagels in Lancaster. Their prices are reasonable and everything is made fresh. That said, be prepared to wait if you go during peak hours or on the weekends. Finding a seat can also be difficult, but if you're patient something will eventually pop open.

I live and work about ten minutes away and I have come here for breakfast, lunch, just coffee.. And over the last four years I can honestly say I've always had great service and great food. The atmosphere is great. It gets busy over lunch hour but the food is great, very fresh, high quality recipes and ingredients. I always recommend clients and friends to try anything from the menu, because I've never had anything I didn't like.

These bagels are the best around. Closest to a NY bagel I can find in PA. Even if there is a line it moves fast. Besides bagels they have a great breakfast and lunch menu. Daily specials are always interesting and tasty Coffee, Latte's, specialty drinks are top notch. The staff is friendly and attentive. My wife and I have lunch here often it's just a friendly atmosphere. I think the reason there aren't a lot of reviews about this place is because people want to keep it a secret.

THE MOST DELICIOUS BREAKFAST SANDWICH YOU WILL EVER CONSUME!!! I've lived out of state for over two years now and have not missed a single visit to Grand Central when home since. With a wide variety of fresh bagels and the eggs cooked to perfection, the classic egg sandwhich is the way to go.

Very good bagels and the atmosphere is terrific. They have a quaint little upstairs area with couches and wifi too. Services is fast and the lady who owns the place always remembers my name. It's because she has a son named Kyle but good enough...

Great place to stop in the morning on your way to work, school, for a fresh cup of Panache coffee or specialty drink and a bagel. Hungry for breakfast and don't want fast food? Breakfast is served all day long. Bacon, sausage, or ham with egg and cheese on choice of any 21 different bagels, omelettes, hashbrowns & more! Also have alot to choose from for lunch! Salads, hot & cold sandwiches, hot soups and a variety of quiche. Service is friendly and fast! All bagels are made fresh daily as well as all the yummy pastries! There's plenty of comfortable seating downstairs and upstairs. (seasonal seating availible outside) Highly recommend this place for a quick bite or a chill spot to catch up with a friend! Free WiFi availible.
