I have gone to this restaurant many times and each time the service was great. I have to say that with the price of food, they give you little quantities for your money.

I rarely give two stars but this place is deserving... I've been to this location three times the first visit was okay, however it all went downhill from then. Their food is very inconsistent and overpriced for the shitty quality. I always order the bloomin onion cause it's freakin delicious (when executed correctly), however I have gotten undercooked onion on two out of my three dining experiences here...Fail. Since this is a steakhouse, you would imagine they would have a decent steak right? Wrong. Steak is terrible. It's like they never heard of seasoning. It was so bland. On one occasion I made the mistake of ordering bacon wrapped shrimp to go along with my bland steak. The shrimp was obviously frozen and extra small. The bacon was so thin and I could of sworn they used half a slice of it to wrap my shrimp, it was all coated in this weird sweet and smokey terrible sauce. Overall I wouldn't come back. I have given this place too many chances. The food is not worth the price.

Really terrible. The Bloomin' Onion was burnt and very greasy. The strips of onion were black. Then, we had the filet and endless shrimp and the ahi tuna. Ahi was ok, but barely any Asian slaw. Filet ordered medium rare was medium well and really lacked seasoning. Mashed potatoes were horrible!! Caesar salad awful. The food was bad but the service was worse. We were one of three tables in the place and we waited about 15 mins before anyone came over to us. Slow with drink refills, slow with food, but salad came and entree five minutes later. Just poorly organized and food was not prepared well. Off the list of places to go for us

I enjoy dining at this Outback location. The service is pretty quick, servers are friendly, and the food and drinks are good. You can't go wrong with a Bloomin' Onion and who doesn't love a juicy steak?! I recently got their fish tacos and they were pure perfection - perfectly cooked with a little char, delicious creamy sauce, fresh veggies, all in a perfect tortilla. Cocktails are nice and refreshing too!

Food was very bland and waitress was not that attentive. I would not recommend this outback to anyone.

The low rating is for service. Our waitress could not remember much...maybe she was new so I did not complain. We ordered appetizers and got them with our meal. A salad came with the meal - got it before the appetizers. However, it went to three tables before I received it. Our refills never came. The bottle of A1 Steak Steak Sauce was empty. She gave me a small container to take home. But I had no Steak left I had a lobster tail left. The shrimp on the barbie was SALTY - chef, please put down the salt! I may come back.

How on earth could I forget to write a review for this place?! I had a really bad experience here when I was pregnant 2 years ago. There was literally a piece of glass in the brown bread they serve before the meals. It was like someone had mixed glass into the bread's batter before it's been baked. I don't know if their bread are pre made in a warehouse or kitchen somewhere else then sent to the actual restaurants to have heated up/cooked, but this was inexcusable. Thank God I didn't chomp on it because it would've really cut my mouth up bad. When I notified the manager, (female, short, mid 40s/50s with glasses/brunette) she said the dinner would be on the house and gave me a card to call if anything was to come up medically. Then when I received the bill, it only took off of my entrée and not my fiancées. I've been at 5 star restaurants where I had to wait almost 2 hours for my meal because a waitress forgot and they managed to cover the $400+ tab. Now this? This is a piece of freaking glass that could've physically hurt me and my fiancée. I think the manager could've handled it in a better way. Bottom line, don't tell customers who had glass in their food that their bill is covered if you can't deliver that promise. The meal including what was comp'd would've only came out to about $50 which is next to nothing. But it just pisses me off that a huge chain restaurant that makes millions of dollars can't cover a $50 bill because one of their workers somewhere mistakenly or deliberately put glass in the bread. Horrible customer service. Diners, watch out for your bread.

Awesome take out!!! Matt in take out is always kind and helpful. That kid should be a server or bartender. Food is a little over priced but always delicious.

Ummm apparently their "version" of the curbside pick up is to park in the illegal fire lane and call to have them bring it to you. Also, don't reinvent the wheel. If I wanted to have tomatoes in my wallahalla pasta, I would've requested them!

I've eaten at this outback multiple times but this is the first time I've ever been compelled to write a review. The manager, Michael was very attentive to EVERYONE's table. We received outstanding service & I really wish corporate would let him train other managers because he was giving his job 110% with a smile. I would definitely go back many more times solely based off the service I received!

Pretty surprised at some of the reviews here Outback is one of the few chain restaurants that I really like. Just about everything I have had has been really good. Before you say something like "People with no food standards eat here! " like a previous poster... just slap yourself and be done with that. Jeeeez OK... now on to the service. I have been to this place many times and have on occasion encountered a little attitude from the very busy front end staff. I do have to say that almost every time we have had good wait staff. Tonight was a Monday at 6PM. Was pretty slow. Service could not have been much better. Sometimes they serve the main course just as you are halfway through the salad. I learned years ago to ask that they delay the main dishes and they timed it perfectly. I had the large sized prime rib, asked for medium. Now, you have to understand that Outback very deliberately and clearly states that it under cooks in contrast to most places. Medium is more like a medium rare. I learned that years ago... perhaps some of the previous posters who complained need to learn that as well. Tonight's prime rib was without a doubt the best I have had at an Outback in years. Rib is naturally a pretty fatty cut, this one was all meat and tender as could be. Now... "People with no food standards eat here! " Seriously, I have eaten at Smith and Woolensky's, Ruth Chris as well as numerous other high end steak houses... The prime rib tonight can hang with them all!!! I travel for business, and sometimes will aim for an Outback as an option because I can usually count on it.

My party was 3 people and we all ordered a different kind of steak and all 3 steaks came out perfectly cooked; so the food was enjoyable. However the waitress forgot to bring out a side dish and forgot the topping of one of the steaks. It was an easy fix after we told her; later I remembered she didn't write down the order and must of attempted to put the order through with just her memory which backfired. The biggest and probably the only thing that irked me was we left over a 30% tip on a $125 bill and the waitress gave us no thank you or any kind of gratitude; just took the money and rolled. I personally don't need my ass kissed or anything but a little appreciation would of went a long way. My advice would be if you're in the area it's not a bad spot but I would never make a special trip here.

Yuck. Remind me never to come here again. Crab stack appetizer had strong fishy odor & taste. Steak tacos had way to much cheese- should have been called open quesadilla. Everything just tasted like butter, salt & grease... Even the steamed broccoli. Kids ribs pretty good but lack of silverware & napkin for each person made for an unpleasant experience. For $50 for a late lunch, I wish we stayed home for pb&j

Family favorite. I frequent this particular location. I love the the drinks. The food isn't bad for a chain although I'm not big on chains. The steak is cooked well with robust flavors. I had drinks with good amount of bang for your buck. The wait staff is great. Wait time is hit or miss so go for the call ahead seating option. It's noisy in bar seating and average chain restaurant noise level in the regular dining area.

Me and my boyfriend had lunch at Outback today. My boyfriend works at the Outback in Frazer and was excited about going to try out the one near my house. Our waiter (who appeared to also be the bartender) made our experience pretty uncomfortable. He hardly greeted us, was very distracted and soft spoken when he did approach us, and just seemed bothered the entire time whenever we asked him for things. It was Labor Day, maybe he had better things to be doing, but we are both bubbly friendly servers and bartenders ourselves and he made it extremely evident that he wanted nothing to do with us. Like we were a bother to him. When my boyfriend asked about getting a discount being that he's an employee he appeared dumbfounded when my boyfriend didn't know Frazer's store number. Who would know that anyway? Instead of taking the 50 percent off we were told about, he instead only deducted $10. I'm only giving two stars because my boyfriend loved his prime rib and the dude (who didn't introduce himself by name) made me a very delicious Key lime pie martini!!!!!! Won't be going back to this location simply because of the server. Good food, great martini.

Dinner during the week. Landed a bar booth, during 30 minute wait. So for us, we were immediately seated. Ordered rib eye and vegetables. Ana Salmon and veg. Bread was hot and tasty. We had to send back the wings. They were not well done. Service was right on point..they move food really well. They all chip in to deliver hot food to all customers...would have given 5 stars but my 10 oz RibEye was on the small side and thinner than I expected. Drinks were on point...lots of special drinks.

My husband loves the ny strip and although I do enjoy the bite or two of his steak I prefer the mahi mahi or the pork. The bloomin onion is a special treat and the dipping sauce is amazing. Y ou should definitely try the wedge salad and the flatbreads. The service is always friendly and attentive We make regular trips to the Outback mate.

Waited at Outback for about an hour to celebrate my birthday, and our food never arrived. We walked out. The manager apologized and gave me his card.

This Outback isn't in the best location and figuring out the parking lot is awful but the hubby and I frequent this one when we want tasty food and to go out for a good time. I'm a big fan of the skinny margaritas and of course the bloomin' onion is the best. You don't go to Outback to be blown away by it's culinary masterpieces. You go for fun, tasty comfort food, and drinks. I always know that I'll have a good time!

We happen to be here right now and receiving the worst service. It's not crowded so no excuses. The waitress brought out the loaded baked potato requested without bacon WITH bacon. There's just no excuse for having to ask the waitress a third time for refills and a second time for crab crackers. My mom couldn't even enjoy her crab legs. We asked for to go boxes and only received one at a 3 person table. Just give us our check (which is taking forever to come btw), we won't trouble this location with our presence again.

  • Sovanny B.

I only come here to order out the blooming onion. Service and wait was bad. Food portions grow smaller on a busy night, service wasn't that great so I haven't eaten here for awhile.

Make sure if your using your credit card to put zero in the tip part because if you don't they will put in whatever tip they want.

Great food and great value.however, the wait staff is a bit rude. Our waitress ignored us and forgot to bring us more sugar. We asked like 3 times. I would go back if I was guaranteed a different waitress.

THIS PLACE SUCKS...Went in on a Monday around 6pm for my daughters birthday and had a bad experience. When we got there I told my wife we were surely going to get served quickly being as though it was empty, wrong... They sat us down and forgot we were there. We literally waited 20 minutes before someone came and took our drink order and that was after I got up and stop someone. Service was slow and they never came to check on us during our dinner to make sure that we didn't need anything. We will never go there again. Good thing I was out with my wife and daughter that night and not with a couple of my boys out drinking or the bad experience would've been on them..

Went here tonight for dinner, had a pretty horrible experience. We waited nearly 20 minutes in the bar area just for menus alone. After that, we ordered our food and a few beers only to have to flag down the manager to get our beers some ten plus minutes later because we saw them sitting on the bar. My wife watched as the manager gave the beers to the bartender to "top them off"...as he brought them over to our table he told us he had, "Gotten us some new fresh beers"...what a liar! The food was actually fine for the most part, but took nearly an hour to get our dinners (although my wife's cobb salad only had half a piece of chicken on it)...After dinner, we waited another 15 minutes or so just to get the check. Again the food wasn't really an issue but the service was as bad as you could ever experience.

I can never have a good experience when I eat here! I always go for their lunch service on Saturdays. Today I didn't even bother ordering anything other then chicken tenders and sweet potato fries, I hardly had any fries to begin with and the breaded tenders still had flour on them. Another thing that made the service worst was the waitress giving us our bill while my mother and sister were still eating, like what's the rush, the place was empty anyway!!!

    (2)
  • GusGus R.

Been here a bunch of times and had very similar experiences each time so here it goes: This place is usually crowded near the evening hours(which is almost always), so theres usually a wait too. If you have no problem with that, cause I don't, then you will realize how worth it it will be since the food here is great! I recommend the Aussie cheese fries for an appetizer, I always get them and they're always DELICIOUS. This place is a great place to take the family out for a bite to eat!

    (4)
  • Sarah S.

Service was absolutely horrible. Our waitress never came back to check on us and I literally stood up to flag her down to get a drink refill. I love outback but not sure I would go back to this location.

The term 'Steakhouse' to me means Meat! The next question is do they know how to cook the meat? Not at Jenkintown. Ordered the Pork Porterhouse medium? The part time cook seems to like it 'Raw'! It is a shame but the particular Outback has a history of terrible management. It is obvious from their time management skills, to their wait staff and now the part time cooks in the kitchen. Also noticeable were the portion sizes or the lack of amount of food on the plate. Ordered the shrimp and lobster appetizer. Had to split the only piece of lobster to share. Plus the Lil' Ceasar side salad. The next time someone sends a cut of meet back because it is 'Raw'. It would be advisable that the manager come over and address the situation. Scratch this dump permanently off my list!

Best service by a chain steakhouse thus far. When you order a 20-oz. Porterhouse made to order (in my case, medium-rare) and it's succulent and flavorful, all is right with the world. On top of that, for the first time in my dining life, it never crossed my mind to even think about using steak sauce. Excellent job from the kitchen to the bar side. Can't wait to go there again.

Always good food, service, and atmosphere. Very reasonable for sTeak. This particular location is very big also so it's good...never a wait. It's definitely worth checking out. Gotta love their food.

I would not go to this restaurant again. The pork was not done, and the salmon was very salty. It was very dark, and loud!

I have been to this location before and it was never too busy. After a good experience at the location in Springfield, PA, I decided to pick up a simple order of two of their wings to go. I did this at about 7:45pm. The woman behind the counter said 15-20 minutes. I thought this was a little long, but oh well. She asked if I wanted to pay now, or later, and I'm glad I chose the option for paying later. Thirty five (35) minutes after I still didn't have my order, I told the host I was leaving because I waited so long. This was after I saw two other couples come in after me who didn't call ahead for their orders. The host was kind enough to ask if he could get a manager or check on my order, but after waiting that long, I had enough and just wanted to go. I wouldn't get any to go orders at this location at all.

I love outback and this place is no exception. Some chains are horrible but outback has consistent food no matter where you go and I love being able to count on it. Bloomin onion: Happiness

Uh... Where is the door? Of course walk around to find it. I've been to many outbacks for years and end up loving the prime rib. When I'm in the mood for inexpensive, good prime rib outback is the place to be.

Pretty good. What you would expect from a restaurant chain. I live nearby so I tend to stop by for my favorites every now and then, Grilled Shrimp on the Barbie and Kookabura Wings....

Went with the love of my life tonight & enjoyed a fantastic meal! When we went my man was tired & hungry & didn't even want to leave the house but I drug him out. Our waiter was Trevor & I have to say was probably one of the best waiters I have had in a very long time. I told him the hubby was tired & ready to eat & Trevor went above & beyond to make our dining experience simply fantastic. Food was served promptly & everything was correct. Not 1 thing came out wrong which rarley happens when we dine out. My man bragged about his NE clam chowder being the best he ever had which was impressive if I must say so myself. The Filets were tender & my lobster was amazing. When my hubby was done his meal he was happy, full, and that made it all worth the trip. The food was good but the service couldn't be beat! We will definatly be back & will request Trevor!

#1 I suggest making a reservation to this busy Outback on Old york Road so that you won't get a tude about waiting so long. So we finally got our seats and the waitress was friendly she just played a few disappearing acts and I was kind of thirsty. We ordered the Kookaburra wings for a appetizer and I recommend asking for them well done (fried hard) THEY WERE DELICIOUS! For my entree I ordered the Blooming Burger this was so delicious as well.. Its was so big I wish I would have shared with someone. Con: The hospitality guy that walks around the restaurant surveying or shall I say staring at you while you eat. I mean you if you going stare just say hello or something. It got to be kind of annoying... OTHER than that I had a great time at this Outback and I definitely will return in the near future :)

Why can't a restaurant make your food "un-seasoned" the way you request it!

    (1)
  • Tim G.

Someone pinch me, because I think I am dreaming. I have fallen and I cannot get up. These are the two phrases that I think of when I think of this diamond in the rough. This is a steakhouse in Jenkintown, PA. It has a unique menu and also has some great variety of steaks. It has other food outside of the cow persuasion. I read an article that this place uses every part of the animal, as not to waste anything, which I think is very smart.

    (3)
  • Arseny R.

This place is still better than Applebees, but it does not have the luster it used to have. Service was slow, sometimes non-existent, steak was slightly overdone, waitress was not neat :-/ In any case, still good, but definitely at the bottom of the list.

    (2)
  • Robert B.

It is ok. There can be really long waits at times. Usually dark inside, would like a little more lighting. Steaks on the cheap side. Really only one thing I love here, bloomin onion.

    (2)
  • Jimmy T.

People with no food standards eat here! I order a New york sirloin medium rare I received a piece of burn rubber. One bite then I stop, it was an insult to my digestive system. The waitstaff reminded me of a Comcast commercial with the turtles, extremely slow.

    (1)
  • Kelly G.

Not bad for a chain restaurant. Bloomin' onion is great and something you have to try when you go. Always have had decent service and food. I would return.

  • Carl S.

Occasionally the wait is long, but that can be overlooked. Food was great, some of the beat steaks in the world. Service was good, not great. I had a waitress one time who was very nasty and seemed apathetic about actually fulfilling our requests. We asked her for ketchup and got it 25 minutes later from another waiter whom we asked when our other waitress never returned. I've never had a problem with service other than that and I've been here a dozen or so times. Atmosphere is nice and it's a great place to watch the game. I recommend it, but not highly.

Dinner on Wed - Oct 19. I ordered the Outback Special - 9 oz sirloin - medium rare. Steak was done perfectly and was very tender. Along with that the wedge salad and broccoli. Both excellent. My brother ordered half rack of ribs. Falling off the bone delicious. With that he had fries and house salad. Both very good too. Beer was cold in a frosty mug. Typical Outback interior and decor. Service was attentive. All in all a good meal at a reasonable price!

Service was good tonight. Steak was done right. No waiting. Thumbs Up!!!!

  • John B.

Awesome food! As usual. Service was a little slow. We didn't have napkins or utensils for a while and it was not even busy. Asked a few people and got nowhere for a while.

    (4)
  • Thomas V.

The service of the wait staff is excellent +1 star. The food however left a lot to be desired. After waiting for 1/2 hour for our food (which ordinarily wouldn't seem excessive except the place was not full), the food came out cold and lukewarm at best. I t also wasn't what we ordered. Sides were missing and sides we never asked for were included. When we notified the manager, he acted as if we were putting out like how dare we demand hot food. He assured us that our food would be right back and not take long. Another 1/2 hour later our waiter was bringing the food but by this time we had had enough and just decided to leave. This is not to say all Outbacks are terrible. The one on Street Road is very good and well managed. This one however should be avoided at all costs, even if it was the only restaurant remaining after the apocalypse. Its that bad!

    (1)
  • Pat O.

it's ok for the meal but the place I think it was so tight and the table kind small a little bit so when our meal came out it looked like all the table. But they had a great service though

  • Eugene C.

Outback Steakhouse. I remember when a lot of people thought it was great. I don't think it's great but I think it's well enough to have a good meal. We were seated promptly, and our waiter greeted us in a timely manner and was professional and courteous the entire time. When we asked for something it was back quickly. The beer I ordered....er..beers were ice cold and tasted the way they were intended. I know many of you don't mention it, I do because getting a skunky beer bothers me. The food was the only thing that was par. Everything else was better. The food wasn't bad. I had a bacon cheese burger and there was nothing wrong with it. The only reason I say it was par is because it had a plain burger taste. It's a steakhouse. The burgers are just to accommodate people who want to order burgers. So if you want a burger and want a regular burger that will satisfy this is OK. If you want one that is well above average go a few blocks away to the drake tavern.
