Great bar food, good beer and great service! We had the Stramboli soup and the Fiesta burger with beer batted onion rings!

Wow, the pit beef was glorious!!!! I had it with straight up horseradish and BBQ sauce on the side. I had to order a side of coleslaw to put on top of the sandwich and complete my masterpiece. We had quick service while we were here! So thank you for that. We sat outside and enjoyed the scenery while eating our lunch. I would recommend this sandwich! Cant go wrong.

Nice casual neighborhood "Harley-themed" bar. Easy on-site parking. Efficient, friendly service. Very impressed with Christine's apparent equal ease with barflies and with two young brothers from Long Island who came in with their dad. I expect the Parkside attracts its share of locals and Hershey Park tourists. Good beer list included Troegs and Victory taps. Crowd seated outside on the porch was enthusiastic, so we opted for quieter inside, which was not as crowded as we expected for a Friday. Food a cut above typical bar food, with Mac&Cheese Bites and poppers that were flavorful and not greasy. Pit beef is amazing, moist, smoky and delicious. M reported that the pork BBQ was also good, and she refused to share. Skin-on fries cut in house were terrific, just like from the boardwalk. If you have ever considered trying the Parkside but have hesitated, recommend you check it out!

Decent wings, burgers are good as well. Must have driven past here a hundred times before I stopped in. They have a decent sized sign out front that advertises steamed clams, although we decided against them. Staff was OK, not super friendly, but we thought they took care of us.The owner-lady came and chatted with us when she realized we weren't regulars. Kind of a dive, and not exactly up to date, but worth a stop.

I've always heard such great things about this place: great food at decent prices. But I think I can only agree with the latter. The food was reasonably priced, but I feel more as though it was appropriately priced. If it were up to me I would say "good food: good prices" but I wouldn't over emphasize. And regardless of its location, I don't find it cliche of them to give out Hershey candy at the end of the meal. A Kit Kat and Peppermint Patty were a nice finish.

We had a really cool experience there a couple weeks ago. There was some kind of community event in town, and everyone was at THAT, so no one was eating here - we felt kind of bad, but we had the whole dining room to ourselves, and ended up chatting with the waitress/cook/owner for quite some time once she'd brought out our food. Everything we had was fine - a baked fish platter and a great big burger plate. The salad bar is run-of-the-mill, and the decor is a little dated, but it's a homey place with nice folks running it. Another nice bonus is that the beers are cheap! We're planning to go back next time we're up that way.

3+ stars. Gritty but good "biker bar" filled with some of the nicest bikers and staff you're going to meet. Get the pit-cooked beef (pictured) and pork, the Sue's Wrap (pictured), the mushroom soup (when they have it), and the fries. Darn good place for lunch or a quick bite after a hockey game. One of my favorite local "joints."

We discovered this little place several years ago after visiting Hershey's Chocolate World. They had a sign out front for steamed clams for a song so we jumped at it. We've been fans ever since. It's a very casual bar with very good food. During the warmer weather it's nice to sit out on the porch and watch the traffic go by while eating. Just beside Hershey Park, this seems like a place only the locals visit that has a great menu all for a very fair price from appetizers, sandwiches, wraps, to full entrees.. My partner had her usual - steamed clams, which she loved for just $3.95 a dozen. Last time I had the reuben, but this time I tried the Parkside wings, which have an unusual sauce - bbq and mayo with a bit of a kick. Sounds strange, but it works. Very generous sized wings too and 12 of them for only $7.99. We also split the fried mushrooms for 4.50. Another very generous portion. We had a long drive ahead of us, just stopping in Hershey to dine here, so just had Diet Coke and it was blended perfectly!! Not too much syrup and not too much fizz. I'm a fan of their's on Facebook and when I see their daily specials I wish I didn't live four states away, but whenever I'm near Hersey I'll make a special trip. Sue, or maybe it was Katherine, is a sweetheart and seems to run the place. She kidded around with us frequently and made us feel at home with the rest of the regulars. I don't know where the "hotel" fits in here, cos all I've seen is the bar/grill, but this last time I did notice a sign when going to the restroom in the hallway that said "tenants" upstairs, so it appears it's that too!

Great little bar and restaurant. Good food, great service, great price. Grab a bucket of steamed clams a couple of burgers and beers and you'll still come in under $20.

The burger I got here was outstanding. My girlfriend got a hamburger hoagie which was also absolutely fantastic. There were plenty of beers on tap and plenty of TV's to watch a game, the waitstaff was friendly, and the food came out quickly. I highly recommend this place.

Went there during the football state championships this past year. The place is small and gritty, but it has character. The cheesesteaks are filling and very good. Had to try this thing called "Stromboli Soup" and it is oddly delicious. We are looking to make the state championships an annual trip, and the Parkside is a must stop for one meal while we are there.

I'm going to try and write this review with no regard to the horde of post-college morons who have nothing better to do except sit at a bar for seven-eight hours on a Sunday. That's to you, hideous sleezy guy who was convinced every woman should be wowed by his muscles (I wasn't). And to you, guy who made my obviously uncomfortable mother extremely nervous with your beer gut in her lap asking her to buy you a drink. I hate you both and your obnoxious frat friends. Okay, on to the actual review: From what I hear, it's normally a pretty quiet bar that doesn't usually attract a younger crowd. The bartender, Sue, is wonderful. She bought us our first round of drinks. Even if she hadn't our tab still would have been cheaper than the one at our next stop where we didn't even get food (or many drinks). The late shift bartender had muscles that wowed me, and he looked exactly like Crais on Farscape (this is a good thing). I got the black and bleu wrap. The "bleu" was rare and difficult to obtain. The roast beef was cold and chewy, sauce was scanty and there was about an inch of cold cheddar cheese. The "black" (tortilla wrap) was grilled, but was also cold when it came out. My mom, a notoriously picky eater, loved her hot roast beef sandwich with gravy. Their fries were worthy of many future visits: the skin is left on and there's a nice mix of soft and crunchy that will satisfy everyone's fry preferences. My mom's "monkey sauce" (?) helped out: ketchup, vinegar and lots of black pepper.

If you're looking for fancy, this place is not for you. However if you like good food and a very reasonable price, have I got news for you. From pit beef sandwiches to steamed clams you get a good meal without denting your pocketbook. Daily drink specials add to the fun. Being a "jersey shore" boy (the place NOT the show) I find it hard to believe that a dozen clams are 1/4 the price of what I pay and the clams come practically out of my back yard. Service is friendly too. This is a must stop if you are ever in Hersey and are tired of the overpriced name brand joints. As mama used to say, "Try it, you"ll like it..."

The Parkside is a staple in Hershey. It's a biker friendly bar, and it's a great place to relax and grab a quick brew or get a full meal. The Angus burger is really good, the pulled pork sandwich is always good too. The outside area has recently been redone to allow smoking outside, and as always you can relax out there and watch the park riders at Hershey Park all day with a cold one in hand. It's has a a great local atmosphere, not the usual run of the mill Hershey fair. FYI, Cash only . . . an ATM is on hand inside.

This place came recommended by my brother, who lives in the area. I was looking for a place that was close to Hershey Park and was reasonably priced. Well he was right in that the prices were cheap and it was right beside the park (hence the name). I wouldn't necessarily return, and here's why: I wasn't amazed by any of the food. The highlight of my meal was the cup of chicken and corn soup before my actual meal. I ordered the chicken caesar wrap, thinking that it was something difficult to mess up. It was meh at best- very oily and I definitely did not finish it. The french fries were good. My husband got the pit beef sammy which he finished without a problem, but there was also a questionable chicken cordon bleu balls appetizer that he said was not so tasty. Aside from the distractions of the less than noteworthy food, there were dozens of motorcycles revving by every few minutes. Forget trying to have a convo, because I was deaf by the time we got the check. Yes, unbeknownst to me, this was a biker bar :) I should've checked Yelp first! I will admit that the service was prompt and the people were friendly. Call me a snob, but this was just not my cup of tea!
