In part of our quick detour to Hershey in search of gift shops with chocolate and collectibles, Cafe Zooka was a perfect pit stop that is actually part of the Hershey Story Museum and shares walls with the chocolate laboratory and the lobby! (The benefit of this is that you can order a platter of chocolate samples to try with a coffee after seeing the museum). We ordered coffees, a specialty salad, and a soup-salad combo. For some reason, my salad was given to me inside of a tortilla, but I just unrolled it and ate the insides of the "wrap." The atmosphere is nice with tons of Hershey history and memorabilia. The prices are reasonable, especially for a museum gift shop/add-on. Probably not a place I would bring the kids after an afternoon in Hershey Park, but a good place for roaming adults.

Our family went to Zooka for a lunch before a tour of the museum. Cool little cafe, with fun seating! The food was okay- we had a pepperoni pizza and a cheese pizza which were super cheesy & a bit too greasy for our taste but nevertheless, fine. The strawberry and chicken salad was very good! The ham & cheese kids sandwich he seemed to enjoy, but the grilled cheese was flavorless. However, our favorite part was the chocolate tasting! What fun.

Showed up fro the world tasting sampler - split it between 3 ppl (about an ounce of melted drinking chocolate from each site) Had a good time. Then enjoyed some additional snacks - cookies were great

Unfortunately not thrilled with this place. Nice decor and location but closes way too early. Both times I have been in I received terrible service. Wrong orders or completely forgot to make my coffee, etc. Never any real concern- just an 'ooh, we're slacking'. Employees hide from customers and don't seem to give a rip if anyone is satisfied. I suspect poor management. I won't be back.

Excellent sugar-free iced mocha! They don't use Hershey's chocolate for the mocha, but that's a good thing in this case. LOVED the mocha... stopped by for a second one on our way out of Hershey. The little chocolate tasting thing is cute... not worth it's own trip, but if you are there, it's worth doing. But share it with someone. It's too much for one person -- you will just waste it.

Waited a good 5 minutes for anyone to show up at the counter. The white chocolate mocha was like lava and the milk machine was out of milk making it undrinkable at the time. Not the best first and only experience.

the "chocolate around the world" sampler of 6 (liquid) chocolates is a great thing to try and very interesting!! good espresso drinks and sandwiches look good, a pleasant and quiet, very clean environment. very nice staff. quite large desert selection, many of which contain you know what.. (it is on Chocolate Avenue) the eclairs look awesome..

The cafe is right night to the Hershey museum and they close as early as 5pm (at least on Sundays). Loved the "Chocolate around the world" sampler. The shots of chocolate restored my faith in mankind.

Love this place!!! We came in here after finishing a fun time with Thrilling Thursdays in the museum. My kids had a ball. Did I say I love this place? For less than $10/person we each had a filing, fairly healthy meal, with dessert. My kids had the personal pizza. They said it was yummy. It was $5.95 and came with a drink and apple sauce. My mom had an awesome club sandwich (ham, turkey, bacon and provolone) with tomato feta soup for $6.99 and I had the veggie sandwich (roasted zucchini, eggplant and squash, provolone cheese and tomatoes) on focaccia with tomato feta soup for $6.99. The soup was so yummy I was pissed I didn't get a larger size :( Everything was delicious. It's basic fare, but fresh! All of the servers were super nice...especially Gabrielle. For dessert, I had a s'mores cookie, my kids had the triple chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies. I also has the cheesecake....yum squared. Did I mention I love this place?!

Café Zooka is located in the "Hershey Story" building. It's a small café that serves cookies, coffees, soda's, sandwiches and of course... hot chocolate. Make sure you do the 'tasting" of the "Drinking Chocolates from Around the World". $13.00 will get you a map and six shot glasses with warmed drinking chocolates ranging in different strengths and regional traits. One tray is enough for four people to taste, there were three of us and we had a little left over to enjoy again. The young lady working behind the counter was very friendly and certainly knew her chocolate. Make this 30 minute adventure a "must do" on your chocolate tour through Hershey, PA!

Great little cafe located inside the Hershey Story Museum in Hershey, PA. We came to tour the museum which was great (see my other review for Hershey Story), but this cafe was a welcome little surprise. We both had the grilled cheese & tomato sandwiches on sourdough bread, which came with a nice tart pickle on the side. We also had the chocolate tasting, which I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND. It was 6 types of liquid chocolate, served in individual shotglasses on a mat that lists what country each sample is from, the cocoa percentage, & a description of the taste/flavors. One order was enough for the two of us to share, & while I like a higher cocoa count (70%+), my lunch partner preferred the lower cocoa counts which were sweeter & milkier. Either way, we both enjoyed it & it was both delicious & educational at the same time.

Took in Cafe Zooka after the Hershey Story and tried the six types of liquid chocolate from around the world. I can't comment on anything else they serve, though. The liquid chocolate sampler was interesting, with each chocolate exhibiting a different terroir and taste. This sampler is not something you want to try alone, however. The chocolate is so rich that unless you have an iron gut, the chocolate is likely to make you feel a bit ill due to how rich it is. Zooka was very quiet when we were there -- in fact, no one else was there. It was an off hour, but this seemed a quiet place, in general. Good ambiance, comfortable setting, probably worth a try if you're in Hershey.

I have held off on this review because I was raised to not say anything if you have nothing nice to say, but it's time to let the people know. Cafe Zooka is extremely convenient for me because of its proximity to my downtown Hershey office. I have gone on several occasions, probably 6-10 due to this fact. Without fail I experience the same thing. Horrible service. I received a cold Chai Latte. Not lukewarm. Actually cold. Like a component (milk?) was completely un-warmed. I repeatedly ask for food to go and get it brought to me on a plate. Um, ok great thanks. Management then rails at the staff which is just bad form. If they screw up tell them in private. Don't scream at them in front of a restaurant full of customers. Food prepared incorrectly, correction, OVERPRICED, food prepared incorrectly. I get why they get away with this stuff but seriously, Hershey Entertainment, get a handle on this. I know you pull in the tourists with your location here but the service and food are SUB-PAR. I'm better off getting in the car and driving to Panera, which I will be doing from now on. Congratulations. .

We ate here as we passed through on our journey to New England. We ordered the spicy Italian sub. It was not too spicy and very generous in size. For dessert we ordered the chocolate explosion sundae. It was really good and again a generous portion. Both were tasty! I would come back!

This place is really cute, but on the smaller side. The lunch menu is quite small, but their desserts make up for it. I had half the grilled ham and cheddar sandwich with a cup of soup, it was very tasty. Not a large meal but satisfying. I also had the vanilla ice cream with a slice of peanut butter chocolate pie. It was so decadent, every chocolate lover would have to try it.

Great spot for lunch in downtown hershey! The "around the world chocolate tasting" is a must try for true chocolate lovers and even though the cafe menu itself is small (as you should expect for a small lumch style cafe) the food is great!

As the Hershey Story museum is to Chocolate World, Cafe Zooka is to the food court at Chocolate World. They offer a range of delicious sandwiches and decadent chocolate pastries, cakes and cookies. You can also do a hot chocolate flight tasting so you can taste chocolates from around the world. It is quiet and sophisticated - a good way to get away from the craziness of most of the other Hershey attractions, as well as get a good lunch.

Nice lunch, great grilled cheese on a cold day. Had a sipping chocolate sampler I would have liked to try, but too full. Next time!

Cafe Zooka is a welcome respite from the frenetic energy of Chocolate World. It is a good place to unwind in a comfortable setting (nice booth) and to enjoy good food. We had the grilled seasonal vegetable sandwich which was delish (creamy mozzarella, zucchini, squash, balsamic vinegar)! My son had the grilled cheese sandwich was also super yummy (toasted and buttery brioche bread with a thin slice of white American cheese). Highly recommended!
