This place isn't bad if you want to stop in for a beer and watch the game. I've never actually sat on the Restaurant side because there's usually an older crowd in the dining room, but the bar is awesome. They actually have a pretty decent selection of craft beer, on draft and in bottles, for relatively cheap prices. I'm not a huge fan of the food (their burgers specifically) but I've never had an issue with their Pittsburgh salad. Every time I've ordered it, it has come out with giant servings of steak and fries and I'm never able to finish it. The main bartender (owner?) is awesome and always super friendly and chatty. He has a great memory and usually knows exactly what I want to order when I come in. Overall it's a great local spot to hang out with delicious cheap beer and good service. Peachtree doesn't always have the best food in Harrisburg, but you can't argue with the prices and friendly staff.

We live near the Peach. It is what it is. I wouldn't go there for adventurous fine dining, but when we have friends in town, we always take them there for breakfast. Never a complaint. In fact, everyone looks forward to returning. The servers are attentive, the hostess is personable, and the bartender knows his craft beers well enough to make sure you get what you're looking for. The price is right. I personally enjoy going there for the Peachtree (Greek) omelet with a Founders Breakfast Stout or Troegs Javahead. This past harsh winter, I beat cabin fever by trudging through the snow to go grab a pint or 4... always a good rotating selection of brews that are often underpriced (considering they are 16oz pours). It's a neighborhood gem. Excellent beer, excellent breakfast... everything else is good.

Unless you are 85 years old, you get no attention from the wait staff. At least they try to keep some servers below 60 years old. The food is starting to suck and the service gets worse.

Best garlic parm wings in town. Rest of the food is mediocre. Staff is friendly. Salad is basic.

Never got a chance to eat as the staff denied us entry at 10 pm at a restaurant that stays open til 11. The two ladies at the door were rude with terrible attitudes. Won't bother coming back.

We have been going to the Peachtree for years, and you cannot beat their Sunday breakfast! It is a local place that makes you feel welcome. The hostess on Sunday morning has become someone we look forward to seeing because she is so kind. We have mainly eaten breakfast, and have tried quite a few things. The crabmeat Benedict is soooooo good. We've also gone there for dinner a few times and their Greek dressing (house made) is amazing. So are their grits! No, you are not going to get insanely giant portions here... But no one needs giant portions. I have never left hungry. One last thing... If you like having a bloody mary you can actually get one with breakfast here which is hard to come by in PA.

Best coffee and breakfast place! Wait staff makes you feel like your home! Haven't been disappointed yet and have been going there over 5 years

Erin the waitress is out of this world, this was our first visit, i had the meatloaf with baked potatoe witht the salad with ranch dressing. Which btw the ranch is homemade, fantastic and i think to die for. My boyfriend whom is a chef loved it as well he had the spicy sausage vodka pasta which he was super impressed with it. The prices are great, the staff is fantastic, its a must go to place... we found out they do breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Guess were we are going the rest of our trip...

My cousin's were visiting the area for a lacrosse game when I decided to snatch them up after and entertain them for the day. First things first we had to eat, and so I ran a search for places I hadn't been. Big mistake. I should have stuck to my guns and recommended a place I knew was worthwhile. Yet gullible and adventurous, I read the reviews about how "hip" and "cool" the Peachtree was. The pictures I saw looked pretty neat, but when we arrived we didn't get to see much of the place as the hostess sat us at the first booth almost immediately inside the door. We had a view of the kitchen door and the register. Not too impressive. The place was completely dead, a few people came in and out for takeout, thought I don't know why. The food wasn't very good anyway, and the portions left me starving. I can't think of much good to say about this place at all really. I was embarrassed to have taken my family here, especially given my reputation of eating out. I hope they don't feel slighted.... I wouldn't come back here unless I was convinced they had made improvements. The initial reviews I read must have been written by people who stopped in during the absolute peak of their performance, because I was anything but impressed.

I'm going to try to shed the bougie big city persona and just say this is a nicer Applebee's. They do have quite a few craft beers, but they seemed to be expensive for Harrisburg (Sam Adams winter was $5 and it's $6.50 in DC). The food was meh, but u had low expectations from the door. Definitely a much older crowd, guessing they have a lot of regulars. Staff were great and attentive though, so I gave it 2 stars. Personally, if you're in Harrisburg and looking for a really good meal, hit up Home 231 or Alvarro's (seriously Alvarro's is a hidden gem.) I probably won't be back unless it's to grab a beer.

Hi, I'm Allie Vittitoe. I'm a server/ hostess at the Peachtree in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. I've been at the Peachtree for a little over a year now. I'm speaking on behalf of being an employee there. Arthur and Olympia are the original owners and have given the Peachtree over to there sons, Alex and Nick. Nicks wife ,Jackie, is also apart of the restaurant. Since working for this establishment I must speak honestly and say this is one of the best places I ever worked for. As a employee I have learned so much. All of the owners have been most gracious, understanding, patient, and above all a sense of caring towards their employees. I'm 23 years old. This is the first restaurant I ever worked for and because it's family owned you can't beat the prices and customer service. Over time working at the Peachtree, their manager, Denise, has given me skills that I will utilize for the rest of my life. I actually enjoy working for this establishment. My own family dines at the Peachtree. This is truly a hidden gem in Harrisburg. The moment you walk through our doors you have a feeling of warmth and security. I know yelp is meant for customer review but as an employee of this place and as a customer is beyond what you'd expect. Great food, prices, and service. I'm proud to be an employee of this establishment. Come in and see for yourself.

After looking at the Yelp reviews, we stopped at Peachtree for lunch on a family road trip because it looked like our best bet in the area. I am so glad we did! The lunch crowd on a Friday was a mix: business lunches, senior citizens socializing, and us (family of 3). I ordered the spanikopita, which was very good -- clearly homemade with lots of spinach and feta and seasoned with dill -- and the portion was very generous (about a 4x4x6" triangle I would guess). For $6.99 it came with a delicious Greek salad that was very fresh, generous in size, and dressed perfectly. Our son enjoyed his tuna melt with skin-on fries. My husband had the spanakia (Greek) omelette, which he thought was excellent -- "great feta and fresh vegetables." The service was very good. The decor is dated -- think browns and '60s light fixtures -- but has been fairly well kept up to the point that it is almost funky-kitschy-cool. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and the prices. We'd go back for sure!

We eat here fairly regularly, but after my last two experiences here, we won't be eating at Peachtree again. Both times at least one person in my party got a dinner salad. Both times the dinner salad had obviously been sitting for a long time with the dressing on it, making the salad almost too soggy to eat. The first time we had a problem we had ordered lunch and we thought it was just an off day, but we returned for dinner about a week later. The waitress was incredibly slow, and it took 20 minutes for our salads after ordering. (These were side salads). When the food came out, nearly an hour after ordering, it was of varying quality. My meal, pork chops, was fine, as was a companion's meal which was garlic chicken. My partner's meal was obviously sitting under a heat lamp for quite awhile. A friend that was with us had a dinner salad that was soggy and drenched with dressing. After we were done eating, it took the waitress another 15 minutes to bring us the check, and then we waited at the register for almost as long for someone to check us out. In total, we spent nearly an hour and a half with a meal that shouldn't have been more than half that time. If it had been a great meal, no problem. This wasn't a great meal. There was a time when I would gladly recommend Peachtree to everyone. Now, I can't recommend it to anyone.

I agree, the food is rather bland. It seems to have an elderly clientele, so I'm probably not the demographic that they go after. Decent selection of meals at great prices. It has fabric booths and carpet, so a little fancier than a diner, but still kind of reminds me of one anyway. Not the best place I've ever eaten, but I would probaby go back.

OK restaurant. However only go if you prefer your food bland and with no seasoning what-so-ever. This was my late grandmothers favorite restaurant (likely because the bland food agrees with elderly stomachs) Atmosphere of old people. Safe and consistent, better for breakfast.

Think of this place as a cross between a good Diner and a decent sit down such something like TJ Rockwells. I'm not saying it IS either of those but the style and feel of the food is a good MIX between the 2. I like to go lunch time and get the pesto turkey Sand which. or the Turkey Triple Decker club. Both are great. They also do Diner style meals such as Turkey and mash potatoes, and other Diner style types of food. (Even fantastic fried chicken!) The other side of them has great things like Taco Salads and Burgers and things that a great sit down restaurants has. Now I'm not saying ANY of this food is as HIGH quality and the best I've ever had.. (that would be a lie) BUT... it IS good and worth the price they charge. It's not junk.. just not the best.. I would recommend this place if your looking to eat out cheap and get a decent amount of just good food for the price. ESP for lunch! They do have a bar area, with TV's and top shelf liquors if anyone is interested in drinking when they go. If I had any suggestions for the owner or people that operate the restaurant, it would be to Lessen the menu options. With so MANY options on the menu, I'm sure a lot of it is frozen, (as most are) because it's impossible to have so many choices without freezing them to keep them as fresh as possible. LOWER the menu per meal time (breakfast, lunch, diner) down to just 1 page each.. get rid of crap selling items and keep the good stuff.. this will keep frozen items limited (USE MORE FRESH), and keep your COST down. Buying frozen items in bulk is MORE EXPENSIVE then buying fresh and using it before it goes bad. Save yourself money, give customers what they want and make great food. (lower the options on the menu!!!!!) - FYI this isn't just this restaurant that needs to do this, this is a TON of places... This is just casual advice that works..

This place has gone downhill a bit. It was drab and the service was not very good. No refills were ever made on drinks and coffee. The breakfast food was good, though. We had ham and cheese and vegetarian omelets. All of our water, iced tea and coffee cups were empty for a long time; and the server never checked on us. We had to flag someone down for boxes. The place was not busy, and your server does not ring you up (you take your check to the register) so there's no reason for the lack of service.

Waiting for a Manager to call me. Usually great Greek salads and the best Greek dressing around. But on Friday, I broke a tooth biting into a piece of chicken (not an olive with a pit that they put in there). My co-worker who got the same salad had improperly cooked chicken in hers - very pink in the center. The third salad with chicken could not be eaten due to seeing what we encountered. Usually good food, waiting to hear if they provide the customer service to back it up.

This place is AWESOME!!! They have the sit-down restaurant side, and a craft beer/sports bar side. We go there for dinner alone, and with friends, in the evening during the week, or on a Sunday, and have always had a good experience. The beer selection is more than impressive! You can go there for that alone. The beer prices are some of the best in the area, given the selection. There's a few small TV's, and they do a Friday happy hour which makes the prices even better! The menu is diverse. EVERYTHING is quality. The prices may mislead you to believe that they are not, but I assure you that everything from the burgers, meatloaf, lasagna, broasted chicken, bruschetta, as well as the various fish dishes. The chili didn't blow my mind, but it wasn't bad. Our friend used we go there with used to work there. She's the type of person who is very picky about the cleanliness and the shelf life of food. Cringes when you drink milk after the expiration date, or eats lunch meat after the 2nd or 3rd day. She's been a waitress all over the place, and says it's the only place she used to work at, that she'll eat at.

A gem in Harrisburg! I'm a contractor from the DC area and this place measures up to some of the best... Maybe not in decorum but the food is top notch and the portions are ridiculous. I ordered the smothered chicken, it was $10.95 and worth every single cent (even two cents at some points)

Been there for breakfast/brunch a few times now. Their breakfast menu is so good. Fast, friendly service usually. Great alternative to a dive diner. The coffee could use an upgrade, but food is yummy!

It could be a bit cleaner, and they could refill my coffee a little faster. Other than that, they have great breakfasts and sandwiches at great prices. They've been able to accommodate parties of any size for us; and they let us sit there for hours and talk after we've finished. I go there often. I would highly recommend it.

I've only been to this one once as it's a bit away from most places I'm going to in Harrisburg, but I definitely had a good experience there. This place felt more like a large diner to me than a "Restraunt & Lounge", although I feel a little better about ordering actual entrees here than some of the other local diners. The waitress was good, and the food was on-par or slightly better than I've had at the Colonial Diner... definitely better than the Capitol Diner has been for me.

My family and I went to the Peachtree after my pinning ceremony to celebrate my graduation from nursing school. This was our first time visiting this restaurant. I was impressed with how good the food was. I had the potato crusted haddock which was great. My whole family enjoyed our dining experience. I would definitely go back.

We stopped in here on a Sunday to have lunch and watch football. The place stands out despite having a plain facade. Inside, the space is divided between the restaurant and lounge. The restaurant, which we didn't visit, has padded seats and is larger than the lounge. It looks a lot like an upscale diner. That's not bad. The look reflects more the patrons...Older folks and families ( Maybe because it was a Sunday?) The lounge was smaller with a bar, stool and table seating and a couple of booths. For a Sunday afternoon, Football time, it was surprisingly empty. The large flat screen TV above the booths made sitting there a terrible choice. We chose the standing table. The interior was nice enough with a comfortable feel of a sports bar minus all the sporting stuff. The menu had the standard fare and the bar had all the requisites. The food was alright. Nothing special but not horrible. Our waiter/bartender was very friendly and cool. No outlets could be found on any of the walls so I had to ask our waiter/bartender to plug me in which he happily did. Overall this was a good place to stop by and grab a bite to eat. A nice little local/neighborhood spot that serves the area well. A good place to stop into for a casual place to eat. A-OK with me is just about right ~

What a random find...I was driving from Rochester to Miami...stopped here for the best turkey dinner of my life. I'm not joking. Our server, Gina, Gena?, was amazing. Wish I was closer, but if you have the chance to go here, please do. Great prices also.

Just tried this place after hearing they decided to do something with their alcohol licence They've added 12 taps for craft beers and they have a growing selection of bottled beers as well. Their prices for food seem to be what draws in the elderly when you walk in there are 2 sections go right and there is booth seating filled with elderly go to the left there are tall tables and a bar area with the beer taps and a fridge that has maybe 20 different types of beer in addition to the draft selections. They are very new to craft beer apparentely only added the taps 8 days ago so if you are into craft beers you may end up teaching the servers until they get more experience. The food wasn't bad I actually plan to go back again Friday night to grab dinner and a few brews. My advice if you are under 50 and don't have your grandmother in tow then head to the left when you get there.

Stopped here on our road trip from NY to Florida. What a find! We beat the traffic and lucked out stopping here for an early dinner. Parking lot was packed which is always a good sign and the hostess got us a table right away. Our awesome waitress Gina was really busy but still took the time to give us excellent service throughout our meal. I had the chicken Caesar which was a decent salad whilst my husband opted for the turkey dinner. He was so pleased with his meal exclaiming 'the best turkey dinner I've had!' He loved the homemade gravy and stuffing and it was a complete bargain. 2 dinners, 2 non alcoholic drinks and a dessert for $25.00! Had we not been driving we would have definitely entertained the amazing craft beer list.
