Had the Colorado. A turkey, cheese, tomato sandwich. Filling but pretty ordinary. If this is one of the best sandwiches places in Harrisburg, I think I'll try pizza or tacos for dinner.

Just finished my Tuna Salad Sub and I had to jump on here to give a review. This was a tuna sub like no other. Trust me this is not a shill. Most places tuna salad is swimming in mayo to the point you aren't even sure if there is tuna in there let alone taste it. This tuna salad was chunky, and you could taste the cracked pepper, and other seasonings in it. there was just enough mayo to hold it together. the whole wheat roll was a bit too dense, but that is something I will keep in mind for future visits (of which there will be). the atmostphere wasn't bad, it was definitely a nice relaxing place to have lunch. One of the cooks brings the food out to you, which I thought was a really nice touch for a deli. It was just after noon when I placed my order and I probably had it within 5 mins. so the speed of the service is no joke, add in that the people who work there are friendly, it made for an enjoyable take out experience. I can't go full five stars yet as there is just too much to try, but based on this first time there I think I will be just as happy with whatever else I get. If you work downtown like I do, you owe it to yourself to stop and get something from here.

Just had an awesome, huge, cooked to order, breakfast. Friendly people and quick service. Place could use a remodel/update but don't let that stop you. Lunch options look equally as appetizing.

Ninja X: I'm so excited. I got a sub from this place downtown I never went. I'm going to eat it very carefully so I can write a review about it. Person in Ninja X's office: Just don't get in trouble for it again. Haha, so with no accountability for my review, I'm still giving Downtown Deli 4 stars. As I sat at my desk enjoying my 10" tuna sub, I carefully calculated each star with each bite. Ninja X: There's too much mayo in this. Minus one star! Ninja X: A bit too much relish. Take away another star! However, the service was great and quick - even in the middle of the lunch rush. The bread was also phenomenal. Just the right hint of flavor. It tastes freshly baked too. Downtown Deli is a bit out of my way, but I would definitely eat there again.

The breakfast specials are quick and filling. The cost is around $4 if I remember right. The hash browns may sit under the heat lamp for a bit before they are served, but the bagel sandwiches are just fine.
