I live right down the road from this place and finally stopped in after 3 years of driving by. I had a ham and cheese and got a small fry. Both were delicious. Next time I'll get a dog and bring my family! I really like the idea of ordering ahead and picking up thru the drive thru window.

Great old school Hot Dog house, quality hot dogs with a variety of toppings. Very good fries and choice of toppings.

When I have a craving for great beef dogs or sausage which happens from time to time, this is a real old school hot dog joint. Being an exNY'er, I find these bad boys the best between NY, Pittsburgh,Philly and Baltimore.

I like hotdogs, but I'm not a hotdog-loving-can't-get-enough fan, but when my partner in crime suggested we try DK Dogs, I saw burgers were on the menu, so I was game. However, the more I looked at the menu, the more interested I became in hotdogs. Lots of hotdogs. Lots of hotdogs dressed in all types of awesomely interesting fashion. So, hotdogs it was. Ordering at the counter, I got the Chicago dog--a deliciously huge all beef hotdog, with pickle spear, mustard, onions, sweet relish, hot banana peppers, tomatoes, celery salt, served on a poppyseed roll. Messy to eat, but major yum. But, let me tell you about the Konstantine Fries--cut fries, topped with rich gravy and cheddar cheese sauce. These fries are evil. And addictive. Totally evil in an addictive way. I got the small serving size, but could easily have scarfed down the large, they were so yummyingly good. The gravy was flavorful, and the cheese sauce, although typical cheddar cheese sauce, was amazing with the gravy on top of the crisp and weighty fries. DK Dogs is, as my partner is crime described, a hole in the wall. It's in a forgotten semi-strip mall-type venue, with atrocious decor, but when we went there for lunch, it was close to being packed with customers. The prices were reasonable, the service was fairly fast and was a good pace for the weekday lunch crowd. During this trip, I was distracted by my hotdog options, and didn't get my burger, but I did see the guy at the next table with HIS burger, and it was huge. We're talking major meat here (the burger, not the guy). The hotdogs were also pretty good size and full of flavor. (There's aren't your buy-at-Giant-whimpy Oscar Mayer weiners.) I'll give DK Dogs four stars--I'm a fan--and I look forward to the next visit there. Maybe I'll get a burger then...or maybe I'll try another type of dog, but I'll definitely get the Konstantine Fries again.

Great selection of hotdogs and burgers, I love the unique combos. The only downside is sometimes at lunch there is an hour wait and their hours are awful. I think the last three times we were in the mood for hotdogs this place was closed. Once on a Sunday and twice around 5pm during the week.

This was a great dog. Got the mountaineer dog. Great combo between sweat salty and spicy. The bun was just enough and did not overtake the dog and toppings. This would have been a five star review except for the fries. Got the animal fries. Great hand cut fries but the lager cheese sauce was so much it made the fries way to soggy. Next time I will either get two dogs or a different fry. Keep doing what you are doing I will be back.

A customer recommended this one and my wife and I gave it a try . I ordered the closest dog to a Texas Hot wiener that I saw and was quite pleased . Fresh cut fries were also satisfying . Very good food , service and fair prices . Will be back again .

Decided to stop there for a quick lunch and to get away from the office for a few minutes. It wasn't very crowded so I was served quickly. The woman at the register took my order. I opted for the BBQ dog with a side of mac and cheese and a soda. The dog itself was salty but the overall combination was decent. The bad part was the nasty old bitter tasting onions. They were way past when they should have been used. The taste ruined the dog. I ended up picking many of them off because they were just hideous. The homemade mac and cheese had a different flavor. Not good or bad, just different. The dog, side, and drink were a little over $7. Worth another trip to try another dog to see if it grows on me. On the up side, I ordered it to go and it was ready very quickly.

THEY HAVE A NAMED HOT DOG FOR EVERY IMAGINABLE HOT DOG COMBINATION THAT YOU CAN THINK OF. Stop by and pick the hot dog of choice or even make up your own. Its a good Dog that is HOT and fresh hot dog buns are a plus.... Nice cozy place and my favorite initials especially since my label is DKNY

Came to visit with my husband as friends of ours had recommended the place. We got the Ultimate, Reuban and boardwalk fries. The food was excellent and came out quickly. Will be returning again soon to try more items on their menu!

I stopped there for the first time today and thought it was great! They were very welcoming, I got the DK Dog with no onions, fries and a drink. It tasted so good. You get free refills on your drink which is cool and they have a big menu to choose from. I will definitely go back:)

Reliable. Kids love it. Great bread for subs and hoagies and good fries. The atmosphere is just a mom and pop place, very 90s in a bad way and just seems sub par but that does not affect the food. Great milk shakes and good ice cream! I would recommend the cheeseburger sub or the cheeseburger sub and substitute grilled chicken, both amazing!!! Enjoy

Drove a little out of our way to try this place for lunch. After waiting in line for about ten minutes the girl at the counter told the person in front of us it would be a 45 minute wait for hot dogs... 45 MINUTES!!! Needless to say my group of 3 plus several others in line immediately left... No hotdog is worth a 45 minute wait. Not a good way to run a business. They were not that busy either. Not sure why they were so far behind. This place is clearly mismanaged... Went to Sheetz and got 2 hot dogs instead, quick, the way I wanted, and a lot cheaper....

June, 2014.........Ate at DK's twice in the last 2 weeks. First time had the Ultimate New Yorker ...the second time had the Chicago Dog...both were very good. The cooks do wear gloves when cooking the food....I did pay attention to that to see if they did. There were previous owners and that was where the problem was with the cooks not wearing gloves. The staff is very friendly......order food at counter...it comes to the table pretty quick. Looking forward to going back.

I grew up with all beef hot dogs and these hot dogs come very, very close to perfection. I have tried many varieties here and have never had one I did not like. The fries are firm and not mushy. I love the homemade beans a lot. When I started a wellness plan a couple of months ago they were very willing to give me the nutritional information on there food which made my selections easier. I love this place and always make sure to take guests here when they visit. Everyone I become friends with i always take them here and they fall in love with it to.

one review said they use rakestraws ice cream but I saw signs for Kemp, not sure if they are the same co but just an observation. I am a bit turned off by the fact that one reviewer notice some unsanitary practices and will keep that in mind if going back. All that said, the hot dogs were very good, great selection but a bit pricey once you add drinks and fries. Got two dogs, drinks and one order of fries and it was over $14.00

I tried DK dogs for the first time after hearing rave reviews from my brother in law. I found the food and pricing to be great! Definitely a spot I'd want to frequent. However, something led me to not want to return and its hard to shake. The cook didn't use gloves...and not only that, he was handling everything with his hands, and wiping his hands on his jeans, drinking his water, wiping his sweaty forehead, and then handling my hotdog bun, picking up the hot dog with his hands (no tongs?) Then he poured the hot fries out of the frying basket into the container and some fell onto the counter. He picked those up with his hands and put them into the bag with his hands. The whole thing just grossed me out. Nothing on him. But being in the food industry for YEARS I know this is not sanitary practice and this would violate any code if an inspector came in. I prayed that he washed his hands before he prepared our food, but seeing that he was wiping his forehead and jeans with the same hands he grabbed my hotdog with.

Humble hot dog stand with locally sourced ingredients (Berk's dogs, Terranettii's buns, Rakestraw's ice cream). My recommendations are the Chicago dog (with authentic poppyseed bun, celery salt and neon-green pickles) and the NY dog. Also, good fries and milkshakes. For a quick, tasty, cheap lunch, DK's is tough to beat.

Very good place for hot dogs. Only negative is slow service on a rare occasion. If you get the one 'younger with the dead eyes' female cashier with the bad attitude that is a sign the bad younger crew is working. Still worth coming to with the bad crew there. Most of the time this place is humming with business and very quick service. Prices are good and you can get beer.

Great little place for a quick (but not healthy) lunch. The food was great and the atmosphere was just as good. I will definitely visit there again.

Our first experience here was great and so we went back for dinner a few weeks ago. They were having a special, buy two and get one free, so my boyfriend and I ordered three hot dogs, some chili cheese fries and two drinks, and it was over $16.00! I didn't mind the price because the last time they were so good. My boyfriend got coke and she gave me one too without asking what I wanted to drink. I drink diet, but she would take back the Coke. She wanted yet more money! I got a bottle of water and she never asked why, or if we were happy with our meals. When we ordered, she deferred to my boyfriend for everything. That makes me angry when I am the one paying. The guy behind the counter was using his jeans to wipe his hands and when some of our fries fell on the counter the lady handling the money picked them up and put them back on our plate! She was touching the food and the money too. Yikes. Where is the department of health when you need them? Very unsanitary. The sad thing is that their hot dogs are really yummy. Poor service and a surly attitude does not make up for good food. I left the restaurant feeling very full and very angry.
