I've given 3 stars for: 1) the store ran out of brownies. The ice cream I ordered had brownies as ingredient. The girl behind the counter asked if she could substitute with chocolate cake. I had to agree,but the cake disintegrated during the mixing. I'd have preferred brownies. 2) half way through the ice cream, the table we sat on appeared a small cockroach. Not a visitor I'd expect in a food joint. 3) I was not offered a receipt. When I asked for it, I was told they could give a hand written on a plain paper! I'd like to give 4 stars for both the ice creams we tried. Both new on the menu. I don't see those on the website and I don't remember the names. One was vanilla base and the other had chocolate base. Mix ins were caramel, salted pretzels, almonds. This is the only Coldstone in this area, reason enough for them to try to do better.

My son and I had an enjoyable time at Cold Stone - no one was in line so we took our time ordering. The ice cream selection is good and the taste was also excellent.

Saturday we decide to treat my 14 year old son to ice cream on his birthday. We had a few free coupons so we asked if we could use them all at one time and the girl at the counter said yes. It was only for a small sample cup which was OK with us because it was cold outside anyhow. Long story short, we were supposed to get a scoop of ice cream and an added 'mix-in'. The girl at the counter never mixed the toppings. She didn't even put the butter-finger topping on my sons ice cream, she handed him a small butter-finger bar (little square bite size bar). I thought the whole idea behind 'cold stone' was that you could get the ice cream mixed with other things on the 'cold stone' for a unique taste. My parents traveled 60 miles to spend the day with my son and they were not impressed whatsoever with Cold Stone Creamery because of the girls attitude toward us. Maybe she didn't put in the effort because our ice cream was free and didn't make her shop any money. In my opinion she should have been nicer to us than normal in hopes of return business. I've spoken to other folks about the poor attitude using the 'cold stone mixins' and they said they experienced a similar situation however their ice cream was not a free sample. Do I think I'll return again? Not in the near future.

I think this is the best ice place in Harrisburg. The price is not the best but I love to go there the people are nice and the ice cream is good. They have yogurt and other things too.

I love the Waffle Banana Caramel Crunch. I first saw a flyer from out of town that had prices advertised, i thought it was a good deal and had never been there before. So I went and tried it, the staff was mostly young high schoolers, they were friendly enough, but it did take awhile to get my order. i was a little bit suprised when they charged me more in harrisburg, than what they charge in nj. Oh well, gotta deal. all in all if you see a movie on a hot summer afternoon its worth it, if not you should go to 3B's.

It's coldstones -- its a formula; the only drawback-not everyone (i.e. employees) are as dedicated in following it. My girls, however, were right on top of things and made a scrumptous peanut butter chocolate special, to which i scarffed down not once, but three times during my vacation in Harrisburg. I had absolutely no problems with the food, staff, or anything!
