Didn't know what to expect but wow this place really is good! First off, be warned, a small here is like an extra large anywhere else! I wasn't complaining though. I ordered a small... get this... chocolate, caramel, peanut butter brownie ice cream. They scooped enough of that delicious stuff into a cup the size equivalent of a small drink at a movie theater. Had to be at least 3 or 4 scoops. It really was delicious and they had so many flavors I just went for the one that caught my eye first. They have a deck where you can sit outside as well as a to go window. I'm sure I'll be back (unfortunately for my waistline).

Three B is a local tradition. Huge ice cream cones with a ton of hand dipped flavors. I have patronized them for at least 30 years. Oh my!

Decent selection of ice cream. Their pulled pork sandwich (with cheese and relish) is a tasty treat. Nice stop for lunch.

Beautiful neighborhood setting in which to stroll while eating your enormous ice cream, delicious, served by helpful servers. Enjoy! (I had coffee and dark chocolate - they'll let you choose multiple flavors, even in small.) GO and be happy. ;-)

Finally a break from Froyo I got to enjoy real think full of fat and sugar ice cream, and it was GOOD! The had a great selection which drove me crazy so I sampled the sticky bun (too cinnamony) the teaberry (too pepperminty) and got the almond joy which was pretty good as a kids sundae whoch was pretty big for $3 and I got all the toopping I wanted on it so I went all out and got strawberrys, peanut butter, chocolate, peanuts, marshmellow cream and whipped cream. It was more than enough to share, my son got a kids scoop of graham slam which was also awesome. the people working are very nice and patient, the seating outside is nice, in all a great stop after dinner!

I didn't eat their ice cream, but the flavors sounded delicious, it looked delicious and I plan to try it if it ever warms up! I did eat soup and sandwich for lunch. It was $7.75 and portion was good. Both the soup and sandwich were yummy. Interesting for an ice cream shop.

When rating ice cream joints I am a tad biased. Any place that has Birthday Cake ice cream, or any variation (3b's Party Cake) of cake and butter cream frosting mashed up into creamy goodness automatically gets 3 stars. 3b's get's 4 stars because they have exceptional ice cream and unique flavors.... ...but they don't get 5 stars because their prices are sorta steep. I will be back when I can justify a $5 milkshake.

After a covered dish meal at my Mom's Church and a visit to My Dad and Grandma at the assisted living community my wife suggested a stop for ice cream. I mentioned 3 B since a coworker brought some rum raisin in to work and I enjoyed it. I had tried 3 B many years ago and loved the apple pie Ice Cream. We pulled up and could see the flavors posted at the to-go window. I grabbed a cone of Chocolate almond and Chocolate Marshmallow for the Mrs. and I got a dish of pumpkin. The servings are large in size and the prices are reasonable compared to national chains. I really enjoyed the flavor and quality of Ice Cream here - I recommend 3 B if you like Ice Cream in a variety of flavor and with great taste.

GO GO GO GO GO GO GO GO GO GO GO GO NOOOWWW!!!! ...and take me with you, please :-) They have some of the best ice cream around! I can't give 5-stars because they don't always have a flavor I want (yes, I'm picky!). But OMG is it yummers!!!!!

It's summer, and that means the ice cream cravings are impossible to ignore. On a beautiful summer evening, it is definitely worth it to join the crowd at the 3B window. Scoops are generous, flavors intriguing, the ice cream gloriously smooth and rich. Chocolate peanut butter was dark and delectable, with plenty of peanutty swirls throughout. One scoop was all I could manage. If you get a double, make sure they tamp it down; these are some seriously top-heavy cones, as my pal Steve discovered. The dogs were delighted to assist in the cleanup of his double scoop of peanut butter (vanilla ice cream with a peanut butter swirl) when it hit the pavement with a splat. So, call me if you are planning on a 3B run. I have 29 more flavors to try before summer's gone!

Did you ever notice that 31 flavors usually only has like 5? The other 26 are in the back for when the 5 run out... 3B has like almost 31 flavors... and they're all amazing! My favorites are the chocolate peanut butter cup and the pumpkin. So good, so fresh, and reasonably priced. If you're not staaaaaarving opt for the kiddie size - it's definitely big enough. They also have milkshakes and stuff. This location has indoor seating and tends to be less crowded than the Linglestown counterpart. Definitely my favorite summer treat!
