Good food at very reasonable prices. This place had great service and food. The quality was very good. It is also nice that when you get ready to leave, the server offers to get you a drink refill to go.

Our server was great but very disappointed with the menu change that came with the new ownership. We loved the way the hartleys ran it and this new menu just doesn't fit here. I could tell that the product has changed as well because the item I ordered was very different than it used to be

Tried to check in earlier but I had no service well anyway went here with a couple of friends for dinner got the chicken tenders with fries & cole slaw food was very good restaurant was clean waitress was polite & professional she had forgot my bbq sauce but brought it when I asked for it

We were greeted promptly and by a smiling and efficient hostess who got us seated quickly but who didn't make us feel rushed. Our waitress was attentive and had very good timing she knew when she needed to be at our table and was flawless in keeping us comfortable and well served. The food was good, temperatures and quantities were all good. The only negatives I have is the floor did have some food and debris but it was all from the Sunday morning and after church rush since we had got there a little after 1 pm. Prices and food quality and quantity are what you would expect from a family style restarant.

This Kings Family Restaurants location is one of the better ones I've had dinner at, which is located in front of the Home Depot at Hempfield Pointe. This restaurant location is bright and clean compared to another older location I visited just outside of Pittsburgh several years ago. Kings Family Restaurants is a regional chain restaurant serving up traditional American fare for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The extensive menu offers a good variety of dishes and desserts at reasonable prices including daily specials and a kids menu. Gluten friendly choices are shown on the menu. I stopped in here for dinner recently on a Thursday evening. I was seated by the manager in a comfortable booth. A friendly older waitress promptly took my order since I went over the menu and specials ahead of time. I ordered the Country Fried Steak Daily Special ($6.99) served with choice of two sides (I chose spaghetti and mixed vegetables). The warm dinner roll with butter was chewy and soft. My meal was served to me in about 10 minutes. The deep fried breaded Country Fried Steak was soft and tender (chopped steak) topped with a thick white sausage gravy (slightly salty). Served in a bowl, the soft spaghetti with thick tomato sauce was pretty decent. The heated mixed vegetables (broccoli, carrots, sugar snap peas, water chestnuts) was a good accompaniment to the dinner. I had enough to eat, so I passed on the offer for dessert. I was tempted to order a Dessert Waffle or a "Frownie" Sundae (conversely Eatn Park has a Smiley cookie). Overall, the dinner I had was a very good value for the money. The food tasted just fine, though nothing fancy. The service was very friendly and prompt. I was given a refill on my ice water during dinner, which I definitely needed. I would definitely return again to this Kings location if I happen to be traveling through the area. FREE WIFI
