A cute little place with great food and coffee. Lunch for two (a cup of soup, a slice of quiche, two cups of pasta salad, two lattes, and a turtle brownie) ran about $25. The service was excellent, as well. Watch out for the step down outside the front door - it'll sneak up on you, and half your coffee may end up on the sidewalk. :)

Wonderful little coffee shop/ bar with a happy hour from 5-7. The food is amazing, great coffee and a variety of seating. HH special is $1 off wine and mixed drinks, $0.75 off beer at their "Side Bar".

Connected to Caffe Barista is a little place called The Side Bar. I ducked in here early one evening for a quick bite. The owner himself served me and was delightful to talk to. It's a relatively new place with a very inviting and relaxed atmosphere. I loved the appetizers I ordered and will definitely return.

I've eaten at this spot well over a handful of times. Had it not been the only place to get something quick during work, I'd have stopped at that. The coffee is average at best and well overpriced. The food spread at the counter sits out for hours and I've seen a few flies. For a $12 lunch I'd expect more than half a sandwich and a small cup of fruit. Bakery items are claimed to be made daily, but upon eating a cheese pastry, it was stale and the sugar granules in other pastries made it very apparent that they were not made fresh. The girls that work there are very sweet, however the owner likes to make rude comments when you only decide to order a coffee and not a whole meal. It's really a shame, because it's a prime location beside the courthouse and really has so much potential.

Although they do have a great mocha, I had to update this and knock them down a star because they are lacking in customer service. Customer service is ultra important for me anywhere I go, but it's even more important when I haven't had my coffee yet! I went here today and asked if they had any 2% milk for one of the drinks I was getting, and she got out the cups and said, "no, you're having two mochas with skim milk today." Now if this were supposed to be funny, I would maybe utter an awkward giggle, but this woman was serious! I'm sorry, but no one orders me what to order, especially when I don't want what they are ordering me to order. Needless to say, I went over to DV8 Espresso instead, where the lady there was very nice to me. Just hoping the next time I go to Caffe Barista, which won't be for a while, that woman is not working the front again.

This place is a gem! Perfect artisan quality sandwiches and sides. Anytime I get back to GBG I'm stopping for a bite!
