Love the woman that works at the counter. She might be the owner. Super helpful and friendly. Food is fresh and cooked to order. Standard Americanized Chinese but very, very tasty and reasonably priced.

Been here once and can't wait to go again! Food is fresh. You can watch it get cooked right after you order and it is fast. There is a small area for dine-in but this is mostly a take out restaurant. I ordered the half portion of vegetable chow mein and still had leftovers! GREAT portions for what you pay. Better quality and quantity than your typical asian mall food which is right next door. Choose Hot Wok instead!

I've had trouble finding a good place like this that delivers, but ever since the first order, I've been ordering all my chinese food from here. Their sweet and sour chicken is really good and I also enjoy their lo-mein. This is the only place I order from. The only downside sometimes is the delivery takes a while if they are busy, but other than that, this place is great.

This is obviously a take-out restaurant. I really liked their spicy pad Thai with shrimp which is different from other places. Good and fast service as well.

Tried Hot Wok for the first time after getting a menu in the mail. Never knew it was even there. We were hopeful that we found a great new Chinese restaurant. We ordered by phone and arrived to see what appeared to be a clean and organized location -- which was encouraging. Friendly front desk associate and two professional looking chefs on the woks. Took the food home and here's what we found.. Wonton Soup. Good. The meat in the won-tons was oddly browner than we normally see but perhaps it was a different cut. Soup was good, not too greasy. Egg roll. Ordered pork egg roll but was given shrimp. Ordered chix & vegetable dish which was honestly a little rubbery. Lo Mein dish was good. Nice flavor. Beef dish and TSAO Chix dish both mushy. Overall, we wanted to find a new good place but sadly we won't ever return here. Hopefully your experience will be better. Maybe they had an off night? IDK.

Great food, great prices. I recently had an experience here and there was a mistake in the order, but they made it right. They let us keep the wrong order that we had taken home. In addition, they drove 30 minutes to deliver the correct order to our house free of charge. They messed up, and they made it right- and more. Time and time again, they have gone above and beyond. If you are willing to wait 5 minutes, you can get a lunch special consisting of beef with broccoli, fried rice, and an egg roll for about the same price as a big mac meal from McDonalds. In my book, there is no competition. This is hands down the best bang for your buck Chinese food not just in the area, but out of all of the places i have been. Good people, good service, good food, good prices.

Located in a small shopping strip next to Exton Mall. (The big one with Macy's), it's a decent place for some hot off the wok standard food. The prices are decent and the people are nice. Try it for takeout!

pretty standard take-out Chinese, good for a quick lunch. Reasonable prices ($5-$6 at lunch). A fair amount of vegetarian stuff.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
