For a lunch check in not really that good! Was surprised that the buffet table was empty of some of the items and it didn't seem it should be for the amount of people here! Chicken on stick was cold and tasteless their house beef was tough. The Tokyo chicken was delicious. Their tea had an over abundance of some herb or spice not really my cup of Tea! The desert bar looked appetizing but pretty standard. Heard a lot of good things about this buffet sorry to say I don't have a better impression. Staff is friendly place looks clean and they keep tables cleared. Not recommending this one others in the area are much better!

Good Chinese! I love coming here, yet the food is sometimes a bit on the cold side. Maybe on it's last legs, but it's still worth it!

We eat here often. I suppose every restaurant has its off days. Most times its great. Once in awhile the shrimp may get over done (even had that happen at red lobster though). The major reason I can't give it 5 stars is the fact they don't have room for a bigger selection and a grill.

Pretty average for an Oriental buffet. It has everything you would expect -- the wontons, the usual soups, General Tso's Chicken, fried rice. And it's all pretty tasty. My main complaint with Hong Kong -- here and at the Etters location -- is that they don't keep the food warm enough. I've gotten very few things on the buffet that have been more than luke-warm. And that can really take the zing out of a buffet.

This place was very bad the service was bad this girl came to the table and reached across the table to the the sugar container so she could refill the full container the was going to put it back I stopped her and asked if she could do that later. She come back and reached across the table to get the napkin holder that was full to refill it. I once again told her could she wait till we leave so she put it in the end of the table after refilling it. The food was cool and over cooked.

I can't even mention the food, because all I will ever remember is that my sister ordered hot tea. When the waitress brought the tea, the mug had cobwebs in it. Cobwebs! I know most people don't opt for hot beverages, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't be cleaned occasionally.

This place is really close to my new residence so I decided to give it a try based on the one really positive review, and I'm glad I did. I went into the vestibule where they have take-out menus and was looking at the menu when a friendly young Chinese girl came out and invited me in. I told her I wanted to take food with me and she offered me a take-out plate to get food off of the buffet or a menu to order food prepared just for me. Another gal at the register took my order. There were several around, and they were very friendly. While I was waiting, I looked around. The food on the buffet was fresh even though they weren't very busy on a Monday night. Several other people came in for takeout, which belied the negative reviews. The women working were friendly with everyone, chatting up the regulars, asking how their weekend went and so forth. One woman came in and I overheard her say that she placed her order online, so when I got home I looked it up, and indeed one can order online! Their website is at enolahongkongbuffet.com When I got my food home, it was delicious and prepared perfectly. I'm a Chinese take-out junkie, and I plan to try every vegetarian dish on their menu! I guess since there isn't a million things on the buffet it's not "Woohoo! As good as it gets!" but it was fresh and yummy and I've never had better or friendlier service at an Asian eatery, so I'm giving it 5 stars.

Take out is good. I like the chicken are garlic sauce. The eat in buffet is not. Limited food sitting for long time due to lack of customers I think. I also like squid and octopus and pizza. Oh and they have a nice little bench to sit on while waiting to take out your take out. It is red. Like the color of franks red hot. Highly recommend. The waitresses are really pleasant.

We have eaten at the Enola and Dover locations multiple times and are satisfied customers. The price is pretty low, the food is tasty, the service good and the place is clean. Lots of dishes to choose from and scoop your own ice cream to have with other desserts. We really like it and will keep going back.

A friend I'm visiting in the Harrisburg area took me here last night thinking they had sushi as part of the buffet. When I asked an employee about that, I was told their other location in Etters had sushi but they didn't. Things didn't get much better from there. My friend and I were placed in a booth that had a single seat on the other side (TERRIBLE location for one) that I bumped my knee upon and had to avoid every time I went back for more food. The selection of food itself wasn't that great. The fried rice in particular tasted dry. About the only thing I liked was the eight choices of ice cream. I don't plan on coming back here.

Absolute worst buffet and worst chinese food ever. Buffet trays were dirty and food had skin on it from sitting out too long. Some trays were empty. Food tasted Horrible! How do you make bad chinese food? These guys did it! Don't chance it...there are plenty of other places out there. I should have checked Yelp first. I hope you see this before making the same mistake.

I love this place. People who know me are well aware that I am a stickler for authenticity when it comes to ethnic restaurants. OK, so this one isn't 100% authentic. They serve those Crab "Rangoon" things where they deep fry wontons that are stuffed with cream cheese and imitation krab - but holy cow they are good at this place! Besides, who really wants to eat monkey brains? I'm giving this my vote for best Chinese buffet in Central PA. I know there are bigger buffets and buffets that offer things like sushi. However, for Chinese food this is my idea of the best. They have your typical fare, nothing overly exotic. But everything is good, fresh, and tasty. Plus, no MSG. One of the best things is that the buffet dishes stay full (except for maybe when you're there at a really odd hour); unlike some places where you go through the line and find things whithering away. I also like that they don't bulk up the dishes with inexpensive items. Their one shrimp dish has a lot of shrimp, not 4 shrimp lost in a sea of onions. Their pepper steak with onions has mostly beef. Now, you can't blame them when people take all of the wontons and leave only the broth - but the broth is so good I would take it and not worry about the wontons. They have a big tray of iced, boiled shrimp in the shell that are cooked perfectly. They also have crab legs with melted butter on the side. The have squid (or calamari for those of you that are squeamish) fried and also in a mixed seafood dish. The offer other typical items: egg drop soup, hot & sour soup, egg rolls, fried shrimp, chicken wings, chicken "satay" on a stick, sauteed green beans (the best I've had), etc. They have at least 30 different items. The next time I go (which I hope is soon), I'll have to do an actual count. I know that other people like some of the really big buffets - I do too - but overall I give this one my hearty endorsement. I think it offers the best flavors over all. Lunch buffet is 5.75, dinner buffet is 8.95. Kids under 3 eat for free. Kids 3-5 eat for 2.99 at lunch and 3.99 for dinner. Kids 6-10 eat for 3.99 at lunch and 4.99 at dinner. They offer fresh fruits, ice cream (about 8 flavors), and baked goods for dessert. Of course you also finish your meal with the standard fortune cookie in cellophane bag. People over 65 eat for 10% off.

My favorite Chinese takeout place in Central PA. The takeout is always ready on time, the orders are always accurate, and the price is right.

Above average. Food looked and tasted much fresher than some of the other Chinese buffets around.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
