You could definitely call this place a hidden gem. This place was recommended to me by a local hotel I was staying at and all I can say is, Wow!!! The staff was so friendly and helpful. Our server, Sarah, was so attentive and pleasant. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome. The food was unbelievable. We travel through the area a few times a year, and we will definitely be coming back!

Some things were real good and some things were real average. Best: pretzel stick appetizer. Probably best I have had... with dipping sauce. Average: Other food was OK. I sampled many dishes here and nothing really stood out. The locals seem to like it, so that is a good thing. Did have a friendly atmosphere and cold beer on tap.

One of our favorite local places to sit at the bar, have a few drinks and some good food. Have tried most of the menu and usually very pleased with our meals. Definitely a great place to go for trivia nights on Thursdays! Good wine selection as well.

Looks a little from sketchy from the outside, but all the cars in the parking lot can't be wrong. We had the Ahi Tuna Appetizer. Good tuna and glaze. Rice was a little mushy, but overall good. I had the bacon wrapped shark special with potatoes. It was done well and had good flavor. My wife had salmon with rice and salsa. It was cooked well and paired well with salsa. We had a Granny Smith apple pie for desert. It was absolutely delicious! Our service was great and everyone was pleasant. We will definitely come again.

this place is pretty good but the service makes it terrible. Anthony is so miserable. We have had him twice as a waiter and both times he has just been completely rude. He gets so annoyed if you ask him for anything and he refuses to even look at you when he speaks. His attitude just makes the whole experience unenjoyable. We won't be returning anytime soon which is a shame because we actually did like the food.

First time for dinner on 6/12/14. The place was really crowded, trivia night or something. All the lots outside were full. Luckily we got a table for dinner. We were drinking so we ended up with 4 appetizers. The food was decent, not great. Maybe it was the fact that we ate during the "last open hour", 9-10pm. The pot stickers were good, although seemed to be a little over fried. The seared tuna (3 pieces) was just okay - taste was fine, but we could tell that all three pieces were not not evenly cooked. Next we ordered the wings (Habanero and Siracha) - these were good, only complaint was that the sauce was not evenly distributed on the wings themselves. Finally, the southwest chicken rolls were decent, a little over fried. All in all a decent meal, a couple of minor gripes. Service was good.

These is a fine local bar. Average food at average prices with an average atmosphere. I've lived less then a mile away for the last 6 years. I've been in maybe 7 times. It is our "go to" for a local spot however we will drive the extra 10-15 minutes for something a little more exciting. You won't be disappointed if you go but your probably won't be "wowed" either.

Awesome food. Ladies had the prime rib-it was perfect. I had the Center Street Grill Burger, it's humongous! I'm a big eater and barely finished it, couldn't touch the fries. Great service, excellent flavors and generous portions. And kids meal is $5.

At the recommendation of a friend, I found myself sitting at the bar with a fellow foodie on a Friday night. Quite the busy place, and as many of the other reviews have pointed out, it is very much different in terms of looks on the outside vs in. It looks like a local dive bar where you'd expect to find a bunch of beer drinking troglodytes. Once you get inside, its quite apparent they took a good chunk of money making the inside a polar opposite. Whether its a nice night out with a date or just a sitting at the bar watching the game type evening, this will suite both. The time they took to update their look on the inside, also must have included time for the menu as well. Many items available that you would find at a more expensive location are being served here such as crab topped scallops with hollandaise sauce and seared ahi tuna with a wasabi glaze. My friend and I enjoyed our meals very much and the bartender/server was attentive and knowledgeable. I highly recommend the smashed potatoes as a side, they are loaded with all kinds of goodness. A little on the spendy side, I cant see making this an every day eating location, however it is a great treat.

Right up the street from my mom's new place, this is my new favorite joint in town. I haven't had one thing on the menu I didn't love -- including the brussels sprouts and bacon, the pork tacos, and ANY of the wings. Service at the bar is great -- Renee always greets us with a smile, some alcoholic beverages and good recommendations on food. What I love the most is how low-key this place is. It's just a really fun place to relax with some wine, burgers and good company. Unassuming from the outside, I have to say how much I look forward to coming here when I come home to PA.

Don't judge a book by its cover! On the outside, it looks like a local dive bar that some people might be afraid to enter. However, when you walk through the door it is completely different. Very cute and homey feeling!!! They have daily $5 lunch specials and their other menu items are reasonably priced as well. I have had a variety of items here, and everything has always been very good! The service has always been good as well!

My first time here today, my friend's second time. She liked her meal so much the first time that she wanted to bring me. We both had the chicken marsala with brussel sprouts with bacon. Very good and not stingy with portions. The chicken & sauce was placed attractively on a bed of wild rice. Took a little home to enjoy tomorrow. We were served warm, crusty rolls with butter which we enjoyed while waiting on the entrees. We got here early so we were the only people in the dining area. Some regulars seated at the bar. Décor was warm, cozy in the dining area. The outside of the building is not fancy but these are usually the places where you get good food. Our service today was excellent. My only suggestion does not have anything to do with the food or service: please fasten the toilet seat on the ladies toilet so I don't feel like I'm sliding back & forth while sitting on the toilet. We will be back to try other entrees on the menu.

Great local place. We've turned into semi-regulars since moving to the area. Good beer selections and good prices. So far we love the lobster rolls and wings were good. Have to say the appetizers seem to have been the best hits overall. Had quite a few and always been happy. Look forward to trying many more.

Two slices of roast beef on pita bread for $7. Crappy fries. 30 minute wait for food. Disinterested bartender. Not going back.

Went there years ago but it was too smoke filled to enjoy the food. After the renovations we decided to try it again. No smoking means the kids can go there, too. World's best $5 lunch: 6 perfect garlic Parmesan wings and fries. World's best $5 kid meal: 6 wings, fries, drink, and ice cream. Hubby has been happy with French Dip and the Black-n-Blue burger. I haven't tried the entrees but there are few on the menu which look amazing. Service is always nice. I want to try Wednesday nights (ladies' night) and their Trivia Night. This has become one of my family's favorite restaurants. Seriously:Amazing garlic Parmesan wings . . . I've tried them everywhere and these are among the very best.

Went with my family to celebrate my birthday. Extensive menu but items are pricing - especially when you take into account the old, dark atmosphere and location. Decided on crab cakes and others on crabby cake burgers. Waitress (who wasn't particulary cheerful) came to take our order - that's when we're told they are out of crab (not when we're seated and not anticipting a certain meal!). Took a very long time to receive our order - thankfully, we order mozzarella sticks - which are actually wedges and they were very good. We ordered delmonico steak sandwiches - tasted fine but had to cut off the fat (not what you want to have to do for a sandwich) and the "steak" was only about 1/8" thick (ciabatta roll was very good). The fresh cut fries were pretty good but would have been better if they came out hot instead of lukewarm. The spaghetti with meatballs - how to describe it?! When the dish was brought out, there were these brown blobs of we weren't sure what (maybe they used crushed meatloaf?). The spaghetti "sauce" was more like paste. The lobster roll and chicken cheesesteak were fine. We will definately not be going back to the Center Street Grille!!!

This was my second visit after having some very good wings. The place was busy, service was good. Good selection of beers including Yards from Philadelphia. I had the double pork chops which has been downsized to one and was disappointing. The brussel spouts with bacon was a nice surprise, but just a little over boiled before they were saute or were they baked. The french fries are frozen which is disappoining, a place like this should at least offer a fresh cut fries even if price is a little more. The ribs seem to be the best value for money, meaty and a good sauce. The prime rib special looked good and may be worth a try. Salmon and Horesradish crusted Haddock looked interesting.

I'm astonished this place has good reviews. They served us "ahi" tuna that chewed like horse leather. It was probably the worst tuna I have ever had in my life. It's no wonder they drown it in a disgustingly sweet sauce. I would avoid this place unless you are starving to death.

Love the recent improvements. Now they have a great beer list and a much refined menu. The soft pretzel logs beat any that I have had - mostly due to the wonderful honey mustard dipping sauce. Very nuanced and just great for something that most places consider as an after thought. The fries - to my family they are the best anywhere. So says my 13 year old, so it must be true. We tried the Thursday night AYCE crab legs and again, they were about the best we've had... they came out fresh, hot and quickly. With crab legs, they must be cooked perfectly and served quickly to be enjoyed. These were. We never waited more than 3 minutes when ordering seconds (and thirds, and fourths... ect). It was a great experience.

I'm out of town and I met a friend here for lunch. I had the shrimp cocktail for an appetizer. The shrimp were huge and delicious. Next I ordered the French Dip per the waiter's suggestion and it was great. It came with fries and they were very good. The waiter we had was wonderful. I didn't get his name and my friend paid the bill so I don't have a reference but he was Johnny on the Spot. Our drinks were never dry and he was there anytime we needed him. My friend also enjoyed her lunch. She had the Ham and chesse on pretzel bread but substitued roast beef for the ham. She was happy. We were both too full to get dessert but they had some tasty selections. Great experience.
