Great American Pub is the spot I usually go to whenever I'm in conshohocken! I usually go to the phoenixville location but I believe they're equally good when it comes to the quality of food! The service is always fast and I've always had a good time whenever I visit.

Good location, good name, good atmosphere...Wed beer special...food was very average and service wasn't that friendly. Had the Fish Tacos. Bartender said "good choice" but she must say that to everyone because they were below average. Come in for a beer(s) and move on food...

This place is big! And each area brings a different atmosphere. Friendly attentive service. Just there for drinks so can't comment on the quality of the food. Parking is metered street parking or the parking garage down the street.

Standard gap. Nice outdoor seating setup. Good location in conshy. Homemade veg burger was mushy but very tasty.

The dim lit, comfortable vibe of the Pub makes it a great casual spot to hit for lunch. The staff is mostly wonderful although we've had a bad egg or two. The food is straight up delicious. At night, it's a little too hype for me but if you're looking for a bar in a non-trash location, it's probably where you want to go. A fun bonus: The location is historic as you're eating in the building that housed Ruffhouse Records. This is a must-hit restaurant. My go to is the Bubba Chicken Sandwich with fries, which can only be rivaled by the fries around the corner at Boathouse.

Recently went here for lunch on a Sunday with my girlfriend and just to preface, we were somewhat celebrating our purchase of some new living room furniture, so we went here with high spirits and a positive attitude. To say that our experience was sub-par would be generous. The place was fairly empty, but the server was so rushed in all her mannerisms, you would have thought it was a busy Friday night. But, hey, we thought, she may have lots of things to do, so we didn't want to count that against her. I could complain about being sat next to the nasty little kitchen, which emitted non-appealing aromas the entire time, but since we didn't ask to be moved, I won't gripe too much about that. It was mainly the food. My girlfriend got the stir-fry, after the servers recommendation that it was a fairly light dish. Now stir-fry, in my opinion, is an exceptionally easy dish to nail. I have friends with the cooking skills of children that can whip up a mediocre stir fry. This stir-fry was so unbearably salty it was inedible. Since she simply couldn't eat it, we asked the server to take it back. She apologized and recommended a grilled chicken salad so while we waited for that, I tried my fish tacos. Now, in the summertime, I crave some good fish tacos and get them frequently when I eat out. These were, hands down the worst 'fish tacos' I've ever tasted. It was quite literally a little bit of lame fish rolled up in a tortilla with guacamole. Served with, what I assume was, 3-day old tortilla chips and store bought salsa, which actually turned out to be better than the tacos. Then the salad came out and in the servers rush did not even linger long enough to ask how everything else was. As is turns out the 'grilled chicken' was very overcooked and dry. At this point we just wanted to get out of this place so we asked for our check and peaced out. Based on that experience alone, I would never eat here again nor would I recommend anyone else to.

I got the Cajun chicken sandwich which sadly was a flattened and very dry chicken breast with old bay seasoning. To be honest everyone else's selection seemed like a better selection, my friend enjoyed the pizza he selected. Service was so/so and you had to ask the server for a refill or your plastic solo cup would remain empty. I have a problem taking a place serious if they won't give you an actual drinking glass. It was my first time there, but there is outdoor seating which was nice because of the weather. I may go back for a drink sometime, but, it won't be for the food.

It was one of the few places that was opened late at night so my friend and I came here the first time for food. I was not expecting the food to wow me seeing how this is a bar. We ordered one of the soups which was good in taste and sizing. I was full enough to sleep soundly through the night. What surprised me was when we asked our waitress to split the check, she looked at us like this was a strange request. Maybe it is in the North..but anyhow, this was when I realized that I was lucky that back at home, we have superb southern hospitality. We came back the day after with a larger group of people and the waitress was very accommodating to us. There wasn't a great selection of drinks so I went with a wheat beer. Overall, this restaurant was a nice place to hang out with friends and relax with some beers and finger foods.

At night this place pops off hard. Not my vibe. Lunch hours, however, is great for this place. The low-key atmosphere and delicious food keeps me coming back. There are some great servers here but on the flip-side I've had some that are kinda whack. Not a huge deal. I'll suggest half off wings on Sunday. Love that. Sweet potato fries-- biblical.

You can't visit Conshohocken without the Great American Pub. Has been here for years and is very well known. Gets crowded on the weekend. It's a better bar than a restaurant, the food's decent but there are better options around Conshohocken. Stick with the bar food - apps, burgers, fried foods. The only major criticism I would have is that the seating areas sometimes smell like really cheap pine sol or cleaning solution. I'm glad they keep the place clean but theres just a really odd odor sometimes. There's also a really big upstairs section that's used for private functions, events etc. Very nice.

Cheesesteak egg rolls were fantastic. Had a wonderful dinner, was seated outside on the glider type seating. Our waitress Molly was fantastic and served us with a smile the entire meal. My wife had Fish a Tacos and I had the 8 oz steak. Both meals were delicious. Second time to visit, definitely will be back. Neighborhood gem!

Horrible service. We were seated right next to where their staff was rolling silverware. We heard them making fun of other staff members who were actually working, they were drinking alcohol (at 5:30pm), and discussing their trashy personal lives loudly. It was a huge turn off and we will definitely not return. We also had to go find someone to wait on our table after sitting there for 5 minutes. On top of this, the food was only okay. The Parmesan on the wings seems it was put on and then thrown in the microwave. The pizza was ok. The burger was dry and came with a side of about 8 chips. It was a disappointment to say the least.

Pop music on second level large party room. Butlered finger food. Seating at tables, large booths and standing at hi-tops. Food is tasty. Atmosphere low light and mingle friendly.

I have visited The Pub dozens of times for drinks at the bar. This was my first visit for dinner. A friend and I decided to try the place during Conshohocken Restaurant Week. We visited on a Friday (9/19) and were promptly seated at a comfortable table. Our server, Joe M, was quick to take our drink order, and deliver my appetizer. I had the cheesesteak spring rolls, and they were amazing! Dinner was a burger with fresh cut potato chips, followed by the candy bar cake, which was very very good! All in all, this was a great meal, and I won't wait so long to eat here the next time!

We had a get together on a Saturday night to celebrate my son's 30th & everyone had a blast! The atmosphere is a ton of fun! Our food order really covered it: from their pizza, roast beef sandwiches, burgers & chili to their crab cakes, salmon, and more. All were very pleased! The beer & bar selections topped it all off. Joe's service was top notch! We waited for nothing-food or drinks! Gotta try it! Perfect spot to go to in the great town that is "Conshy!"

The Great American Pub has a lot of space so it is a good place to go for groups. Otherwise, this pub is just average, from the food, to the beer selection, to the service. Some of the better food options are their pizzas and paninis. They do offer a good amount of outdoor seating. The best part about the pub is Quizzo on Wednesday nights. The Quizzo guy is awesome and it is always a fun time, with free prizes for the winners.

I'd actually been here before recently, sat outside and had a great waiter but this last experience was such a complete joke had to give others a heads up. No issue with food but wait staff... seemed to completely forget they were working ??? I waited tables all throughout college and am usually very forgiving and patient if a place is slammed but it was pretty slow and still we sat, for 20 minutes.. then a half hour with empty plates in front of us waiting for drinks, giving up then just wanting the check to get out of there. A waitress passed by and literally COMPLETELY ignored me when I tried to get her attention, I guess because we weren't her table ? Joke. I guess the wait staff doesn't actually enjoy getting tipped well. I always leave at least 18% but not this time. Definitely will not be going back. With mediocre pub food and surrounded by plenty of other options- decent service is a must.

Would've left a good review at this place following my initial visit, but our second visit was so terrible that I have not been back since. I reserved seats and tables for a party of 10-15 for a work function, called the place and I was told that everything will be good to go. When me and a couple of others got here, they gave us 2 freaking barstools to sit at in the middle of a packed bar area. When I talked to the manager, he acted like he knows nothing about our reservation even when my name is on that list. He said he'll try to get this situation resolved in a few minutes, but it took me well over an hour and a number of tries to actually got him to respond to me. There were times where I'll be walking over to ask him if there's any update on our reservation, he would see me walking towards him, and would literally look me in the eye and run away. I would follow him and ask him what is going on and he would turn around look at me and literally just walk past me without giving me any acknowledge or a response. Wtf kind of manager does that?!?! My coworkers and friends were forced to cramp into a tiny area around those 2 barstools and were unable to order any food for almost 2 hours because we had no room, I would never go back again and all my coworkers and friends who have witnessed what happened said they will not be back. There are way better options right next to this dump hole, do yourself a favor and go somewhere where they actually care about their customers.

What a great spot to "hang out" . Great food across the board. Drinks are very reasonably priced, generously poured. Lunch here always. The owner, Chuck, is always there cheerfully escorting patrons to their table. Very hands on. Numerous rooms for private parties and even a beautiful banquet room for up to 200 . They just hosted a reunion for any football player who ever played for my high school in the banquet room. A great event! Bottom line is the GAP offers anything your looking for in a go to spot. Thanks to Chuck and staff for always providing patrons with a great bang for their buck! Nick d.

I'll never understand why this place gets really negative reviews about its food. As its name indicates, it's a pub - primarily a bar - that happens to have a dining area and serve food. I really enjoy happy hours here; at the upstairs bar, they have a rotating drink specials list and they play good music. The downstairs bar carries pretty standard beers, wines, and ciders. This is a great place to bring a group of coworkers for an after-work drink if you work in the KOP/Plymouth Meeting/Conshy area. My boyfriend and I have eaten here a few times, primarily when we are out to have a few drinks, and we enjoy the food! The pizzas are tasty and on the large side (enough to feed two people if you're snacking), and we really like their burgers. The garbage salad is great too but, again, on the large side. Definitely a better late-night crowd than other Conshy bars like Spamps and Guppys, as the crowd is more mid-twenties to early thirties, instead of younger, more drunk and crazy patrons in their early twenties.

Was very surprised, ate the sirloin topped with crabmeat, was a really good. Place seemed a little dirty but the food was good. Ordered a vodka martini on the rocks and it came in a wine glass. Pub should know better

We love this place, ESPECIALLY in the Spring-Fall when we can sit outside. Prices are reasonable and I find the food to be surprisingly good for pub food. There are many things that I've had on the menu that I've loved. Favorite local hangout spot.

Great local spot. My go to place to watch games in Conshy. The food is pretty solid and they have a decent drink selection. Would definitely recommend the homemade pizzas. Friday and Saturday nights they have a DJ at the upper bar and you can put on your dancing shoes. So from a casual Sunday afternoon to a wild Friday night GAPs got you covered.

Second time here service is okay it was better the first time around maybe if we were served by one of waitress with a smile and that didn't seem want to rush of customers it would've been a better experience

Great American Pub is a good place to come with a group of coworkers for a happy hour or a company lunch. The place is huge, so there should definitely be room for you-- plus, there's a huge banquet room upstairs for more formal events (which has a small dance floor and tons of room, plus a coat check). Definitely a refined place to have a drink, but with a rustic vibe because of all of the wood decor. The food is solid and the happy hour specials are decent. We also ordered some apps for the table and were pleasantly surprised by the artichoke crab dip. Cheesy goodness with large chunks of artichoke and some small pieces of crab=happiness. It comes with pita and chips. We also got an order of calamari, which wasn't rubbery at all (big plus) and was fried to a perfect crisp. The place is large enough that the service can get a little sparse when it's crowded, but nothing that isn't to be expected.

The Great American Pub is ok. It's a really large space with three different bars on three levels. The food is typical bar food but it can get incredibly crowded on weekend nights. They also usually have a DJ on the weekends which makes it that much more crowded and loud. The beer selection is not that great; I'd walk down the street to the Boathouse if you're looking for a really good beer. I personally prefer the pub when its not that crowded and you can sit at either the lower level bar or in front of the fireplace with friends on the third level.

I live in Conshohocken, and frequent the Great American Pub relatively often. Usually I'm there for quizzo with Kevin on Wednesday nights. On weekends It gets 4 stars because everything they offer is solid, but nothing is "amazing" or "oh man you have to try this," but I wouldn't recommend *against* anything either. Standard gastropub fare. The wings are good. The fries are steak fry type, so they're larger and potato-y, not crispy at all; that's not necessarily bad, just not my preference. I like thin and crispy. The service is good. The menus are good for a laugh with "Warm Beer - Lousy Food" on the cover. Overall, this is a safe bet if you're not familiar with Conshohocken and have a group of people whose tastes you are not familiar with -- everyone will find something they're willing to order and nobody will be disappointed.

Full Disclosure, I have never hung out in the bar area downstairs. But recently I was invited to a bridal shower in the upstairs room here, and it was absolutely magnificent! I couldn't get over how beautiful the room was. You could have a wedding up there if you were so inclined. The room has a nice size dance floor as well as a big bar area in the back, and a very pretty fireplace which makes for nice pictures. If you are having a nice party in the Conshy area you have to check it out. The food we had at the shower was delicious. The crowd favorite seemed to be the roast turkey which I hear is made fresh every day there. The only weird thing about Great American Pub is that they don't sell bottles of Miller Lite? Kind of strange considering it is the most popular beer in America. The parking situation isn't the best either, but everyone was able to find street parking.

One star - and here's why. If you're gonna advertise that you're open until 2:00 A.M., then be open until 2:00 A.M. (or at least close to it). Arrived around 11:30 P.M. on a weeknight, and the door was locked with the chairs upside-down up on the tables. Yelp profile says open until 2:00 A.M. Boathouse place a couple of doors down - also closed (although folks still within). WTF is up with Conshohocken? I can understand closing early if the place is empty on a weeknight . . . but then say something to that effect on your websites, profiles, etc. Couldn't tell you what time they actually closed, and I won't be going back to find out.

Service was very poor. The beer on special was flat. Their margarita pizza is a cheese pizza with some dried basil. Only 6 chips that came with my friends burger. It took 30 min to clear our table. All in all the food tasted good but it was just a bad experience.

I've been here three times in the last week. Before you get too excited, I do have to say that this isn't a testament to how good the food/service/atmosphere/whatever at the Great American Pub is. I just happen to work at a company that has hosted a number of work lunches there this week. I will say that G.A.P. is a great spot for lunches with groups of people. They literally offer everything from salads to pizzas to pastas to burgers. They definitely have something for everyone. Also, the word on the street is that G.A.P. has slighly better food than the Boathouse. Another great thing is that this place is so freaking huge that you can roll in with 10 coworkers (like we did) and they can accomodate you. On my first visit, I ordered the tomato mozzarella (caprese) salad. They give you a TON of tomato and mozzarella for the price ($10). I've easily paid $10 for half as much caprese salad at Italian places in the city. The tomato and mozz came on a bed of lettuce, along with red onion and roasted red peppers, with a light vinegarette on top. I really liked this salad. On my second visit, I wasn't too hungry. So I ordered the seafood gumbo, which is served over rice and comes with a side roll. Caution: this is a very small portio (for $5.99, wayyyy too small of a portion). So get a side salad if you are hungry. Gumbo was good but definitely needed more heat. I don't think I'd get this dish again. On my third visit, my coworker was raving about their pasta, so I figured I'd give it a shot. I ordered a small ($12) portion of wild mushroom ravioli. It was covered in a cream sherry sauce with sauteed spinach and mushrooms. I liked this dish alot- especially the veggies on top. I felt like the ravioli filling was a bit too pureed. But you get about 6 ravioli in a small order- which is pretty good. I would give the other pastas a chance, but I think I may stick with salads next time I visit. Overall, G.A.P. isn't winning any James Beard awards but they offer a pretty solid lunch/dinner at a reasonable price.

Another successful Saint Patrick's Day. I get here early every year so my review is all about getting the seats I wanted as well as a glass for my Guinness the entire day. Get here when the race is about to start and enjoy your plastic cup. Food was fast and the spinach dip was as great as it ever was.

Got a large group that likes to drink? Need some "safe" food choices? Want a private room? Then, G. A. P. is your place. I came here with a group of 27 people and we were easily accomodated in a private room (with our own bar and buffet area) and service by Michele was excellent. The drinks during happy hour are cheap enough - 1 beer and 1 well-tequila margarita ran me $7. The food is fine. Chicken or Eggplant parm, penne marinara, veggies and over-cooked roast beef with rolls and horseradish. Not great but not awful either. Very "safe" and everyone enjoyed the dessert tray with brownies, pound cake (looked like Sara Lee) and mini canolli. We had a great meeting and would definitely have events here again. There is even an old-fashioned ballroom (seats up to 150, I think) huge with it's own dance floor and restrooms - suitable for a down-scale wedding or a bir rehearsal dinner or graduation party. This place is HUGE and has many configurations for groups large, small and massive.

The pub is the hot spot for Conshy. It's always packed so be ready for that. Drinks - I wouldn't order liquor or anything that is not on special. A single is like $7. A double barcadi and diet was $14. Draft beer is still a little pricey. Food - Some of the food is really good and some is just basic. The parmesan garlic wings are amazing and I really liked the spinach pizza. The nachos are not very good, very basic. The ribs were okay. Nothing special. The burgers look awesome. As do the salads. Quizzo on wednesday nights is really fun. I suggest going for sure. Nightlife - Again, always super crowded but a very popular night life bar. Sometimes there is a DJ which is cool but there is no room to dance. They should remove all the tables on the upper bar to make more room at night.

I have been to The Great American Pub on several occasions for everything from just a beer to kill some time before meeting a friend (as was the case today) to happy hour and beyond. Each time, I've been slightly underwhelmed. Everything is fine, but that's about as good as I'm willing to say. I can't think of any particular foods I've had there that left a great impression (again, it was fine, just nothing remarkable). They mostly serve bar food. The same can basically be said about their beer selection -- it's okay. They have beers, nothing terribly rare or amazing. Today I paid $5 for a Harp and it was a little more expensive than I was hoping. A while back I stopped in late night after a wedding (we were staying at a hotel that was within walking distance from the pub so it seemed like a logical spot) for a beer before last call and had to use the bathroom. It was one of the most disgusting bathrooms I have ever seen. I won't get into the details, but it was totally gross. I used the same restroom during the day today and it was more than acceptable and clean, but they need to keep up with cleaning the bathrooms better during the later hours. Despite the fact that the bathroom had clearly gotten to that state because of some ignorant patrons, I feel the bar owes the rest of its patrons a clean, usable bathroom whatever the time of day. And while that was a one time thing, given the general lack of "wow" about the rest of the place, it's the one thing that really sticks out for me whenever I think of this pub.

This Great American Pub is decent. The food is good, but average. The prices are a little high for what it is. I'm not sure if it's related to the other Great American Pubs (narberth, wayne, etc...) but it seems to be a little higher end. The atmosphere is nice, the service was good and the menu was varied. You'll have a good dining experience here, but nothing to write home about. Part of this is probably a product of its environment. Conshohocken is not one of the more exciting Monto places to dine out!

  • Abbie W.

Place is just OK. I go here to drink or play quizzo. I personally think the food is terrible and have tried a variety of menu items- salads, sandwiches and pizzas. I would recommend a pizza from that selection listed. Try this place on a Friday or Saturday if your looking to have a drink. Go to the "upstairs" bar, it is very large and they usually have a DJ.

Not sure what is up with Wayne and nice on this street but I've never seen anything like it and I've lived in Philly, NYC and never seen live mice running around restaurants. Went with the hubs for a drink one summer night and were seated outside.... Mice running all around.... So gross!

Kickass music. Spacious as ever, even when there's a crowd. There's always room for one more. Only problem: even *I* felt too old to be there. Not sure my bartender liked me either. Not that I'm paying him to like me, but still.

Okay. Stopped in on Memorial Day on a whim and sat outside food was okay. Nothing special. Drinks in plastic cups unforgivable. I think were all adults here and can handle glass and it keeps drinks cold longer not to mention all that plastic waste that has to go somewhere.

While sitting at the bar a customer ordered sangria. The bar tenders collaborated and decided the best way to make it was to put can sauv in a pint glass with an orange slice and cherries and two shots of peach schnapps. Appalled. Sandwich was too messy, not a big enough plate and bartender was looking at her paychecks shaking her head while I had an empty beer for 4 minutes. Unacceptable.

Sunday - May 27, 2012 - 6:30pm First time visit to this restaurant. Five of us decided to indulge in food and libations after a round of mini golf at nearby Tee's golf center. Although we considered eating outside the humidity convinced to dine inside. The inside was comfortably air-conditioned with beautifully stained wood interior. We were presented with a fairly extensive menu - classically American. I had a large mixed green salad and 2 crab cakes. The food was decent - nothing exceptional but the server's patience and competence prompts me to award an extra star.

Another Conshy favorite. I love eating outside here. The burgers and fries are very tasty. Fun with a group of friends! Had a penne pasta with white wine dish once that was so good I stood in my fridge, eating it cold, piece by piece with my hands the next day.

I came here at a reasonable hour, asked for a beer and got a nice IPA. However, no one asked if I wanted a menu after 15 minutes. I can't comment on the food because I was never offered any. Normally. I would ask for a menu but I hate being ignored.

I am blessed to have both Chestnut Hill and Conshohocken a reasonable driving distance away from my residence. Take THAT, Philly commuting! Haha, no no, I love commuting to and from Philly, but there needs to be breaks ;-) Great American Pub is an example of how appealing I find Conshy. Oh geez, whose American blood doesn't run furiously due to cravings for burgers and fries through his/her blood vessels now and then? Had the turkey burger with a side of fries. Even the leftovers were yummylicious! The burger buns were great quality, and the turkey meat was satisfyingly moist. There was nothing that I was confused about in my dish, and I was perfectly all right with its superb simplicity :D Thank you, Great American Pub, for a memorable meal!

The bar area/entrance was very narrow and crowded. We got to the dining area and it was barren. The hostess was reading 50 shades of gray just sitting at a table and didn't approach us until we asked the bartender. The waitress however was a bit more attentive. Ordered a burger and sweet potato fries while my buddy ordered mozzarella sticks and roast beef sandwich. Fries were decent similar to steak fries but made of sweet potato and were very hot. The mozzarella sticks were cooked perfectly but were mostly flavorless. Beer menu had many of the domestic brews with a minimal craft beer menu. Burger was cooked to order (medium rare), the bun came out a bit soggy but was packed with flavor. The wait staff is gorgeous and if you like pretty faces in tight pants you are in for a treat. Price was $20 for beer app and burger. Decent price considering the area. It's an ok place to dine and grab a beer, but really isn't a must try.

What can I say about the Great American Pub that hasn't already been said.... It's a spacious bar with a rather nice private party area upstairs. While I won't say it is always easy to find a seat, it is always easy to walk around in (even during some of those crazy conshy events). It also carries all the local sporting events you might want to catch. Beyond that, it is your average bar, with average pub food, and service that won't blow you away, but certainly won't earn it more than an A-Ok rating.

It's such a great location in conshy that you want it to be a good bar/restraunt but it just isn't. The Atmosphere is good. That's about it. Service and food are horrific. Didn't think it was possible mess up some easy dishes like chicken fingers and meatballs but apparently it is. Stick to drinks only and go anywhere else in conshy if you get hungry.

Been here a few times since moving to the area, so enough to have formed an opinion. Pros: Great atmosphere, decently priced, good mix of people who are about my age. Quizzo is really fun. Food comes out pretty quickly. Cons: Can't say I've been impressed with the wait staff. The first time, the waitress brought us our drinks. We were ready to order, but she said she'd be right back. After 30 minutes, the hostess finally came over and took our order. When the waitress came back 10 minutes after that, she paused at our table, looked confused at the lack of menus, and walked away without saying anything. The second time, sitting at the bar in the Oak room, all three of us wanted to order food. After taking the first order, the bartender abruptly walked away without asking if that was everything or giving the other two of us a chance to order. When she came back and we wanted to order too, she actually got mad at us because she'd already put the order in. Maybe don't walk away that quickly without saying anything? Overall, though, I like this place as a hangout spot, for Quizzo on Wednesday nights, and to grab a beer with friends.

I Would say more 3.5. The (.5) mostly due to the speed of food delivery considering the group that went only had one hour for lunch, they were very accommodating. The atmosphere was great, the service overall was so/so but the food was out to our table QUICK! I was only there for lunch and all of the food that our table got was really good and hot when it came out (yeah I did a little sampling :)) It looks like this would be a really fun place to come with a family or group of people to hang out or have a nice dinner.

After 8 hours of my board examination, the clock had just turned 9pm, which meant that it was time for Game 7 of the NBA Finals...so I strolled down Fayette Street and found this nice looking bar and figured the game would be on. Found a seat at the bar and realized out of the 10 large flat screen TVs that adorned the wall that only 1 tv had the game on and it was on the very other end of the bar.....seriously? Come on Philly, I know your 76ers aren't in the The Finals, but at least realize that there are tons of other people that want to watch a good basketball game. I asked the bartender to change the channel and he said he would....but 10 minutes later no dice. So i asked another bartender and she did it right away, which I appreciated. I'm just saying, if you're a bar - you shouldn't have ALL your tv's to one channel. I had the Turkey Pesto Burger - and let's get one thing straight - I do love a good red meat burger, but I gave this taste a shot because I had a buddy who said it had amazing flavor. And you know what? I completely agree - best Turkey burger I have ever had. The Spinach Pesto, Mozarella and roasted peppers gave it the right amount of kick. Just absolutely exploding with flavor. The token australian accented bartender was actually super attentive and helpful as well. Even though he didn't change the tv channel - i'll just chalk that up to being a busy night. Overall, really good service and a great turkey burger and a Miami HEAT win!

I've been a regular at the Pub for years, but only for lunch. The Pub has a great atmosphere, plenty of booths, prompt friendly service, and the owners are almost always on site to make sure your experience is perfect. The burgers are thick and juicy, and the gumbo soup one of the best out there. But go for the carved beef or turkey sandwiches...they are mouth watering. Can't comment on happy hour/dinner but for a mid-price sit-down lunch with friends or clients its a winner.

The front of their menus say "Warm beer, lousy food, great friends", which isn't too far off. Although the beer has never been warm, there also has never been any drink specials when I've been here. From what I can tell from the posters around the bar, most specials end at 7. For some perspective, a bottle of Coors Light and Yuengling on tap are both $4. I finally got around to trying their food last night. Their kitchen was closed so I wasn't expecting anything spectacular, but the food was still pretty disappointing. Both the marinara sauce and honey mustard were tasteless and watery, and the chicken fingers were pretty salty. Not even my tastebuds' slightly tipsy and very hungry (i.e. low) standards could be swayed. On Fridays and Saturdays, they have a DJ play some pretty terrible music. Last night was an exception when he mixed it up with last summer's top 40. I come to the GAP because there's always a pretty sizable crowd, but that also means it can take a while to get a drink. You'll also be lucky to find a booth or table in the upstairs area as it gets later. There's outside seating, too, so you can duck out for fresh air pretty easily, As one of my friends said, "The best thing about this bar is who you bring with you." Yeah, pretty much.

Had a large group after a family event and they really tried to look after us. The servers while a little over whelmed by the group really did a nice job. Food was nice, hot wings were actually hot, sweet potato fries are tasty and the calamari is a really good size portion. Nachos are a good share size or as a main to big for an app. Pizzas are good given that its a bar and not a pizza shop, steak sandwiches were a little bit of a let down given that it is the Philly area but I'm from DC what do I know :) Would go again if in the area.

Service is consistently poor and food is just okay. They are one of few places with outdoor seating in Conshy which is pretty much the only thing that keeps me coming back.

I met a friend to watch the Phillies game on Saturday night. The 2nd floor bar doesn't have too many TV's but the 1st floor had great viewing angles. The food was decent. I had a pork sandwich. The sweet potato fries were above average. The bartender service was very good. It started to get packed when we left after the game finished.

I moved to Conshy almost 9 years ago and my first apartment was 6 blocks from the Pub, so I have had my fair share of fun times there. Fast forward 7 years and my husband and I got married in The Valley Top Ballroom. Every. Single. One. of our guests commented on what a great space it was, how wonderful the staff was and the plus factor that there was a bar for before and after the ceremony/reception. The food was the shining star of the night - everyone loved it and they literally did whatever we wanted. We had waiters bring pigs in a blanket out to our guests at 11 pm. Best thing ever. The staff, led by Geri, was amazing - we could not have asked for a better experience or wedding day. Love this place.

My wife found a piece of glass! in her drink. when i brought it to the attention of the owner, his response was not kind or understanding or even considerate - he gave me attitude "what do you want me to do" he said. Seriously? Thats how you treat patrons?

The location in wayne is better in my opinion. I have gotten a roast pork sandwich here a couple of times, and I find it to be sub-par. I'm not really sure why we go back. The service is often rude. The atmosphere tends to be 30 to 40-somethings grabbing a drink after work. They tend to gather around the bar, making for a VERY loud dining experience if you choose to sit there. It is at the entrance to the restaurant so it is hard to navigate through this area if you come at the wrong time.

I went to dinner last night and my boyfriend and I both ordered the turkey platter. After an hour ride it took to get there, I would never go back. We first walked in and they wanted to seat us downstairs but my boyfriend asked if we could sit upstairs. Hostess was rude and acted like we were bothering her to have to walk up a set of stairs to be seated. Sitting there with an empty glass of wine, I had to ask waitress even though she was at my table if I could have another one. Never even asked if I would like another one. Then dinner came out. Or should I say 1 dinner. For some reason she assumed we were sharing, even though it was clear I was having vegetables with my dinner and my boyfriend wasn't. So 10 minutes of wondering if my dinner was coming out, we finally asked where mine was. She thought we were sharing. She offered to put in another order. By this time, I was annoyed at the poor service and having 3 mozarella sticks and 2 glasses of wine and by that time I just wanted to go home as II was no longer in the mood for dinner. What was supposed to be a nice celebration dinner was not the case. Check please - don't expect the hour drive down again for crappy service.

Before I talk about the bar itself I need to tell another story about when I was here with my friends about a year ago. We were at the upstairs bar area and my friends told me to turn around and look at this couple that was sitting alone back in the corner together. They were both drunk and she was sitting on his lap and he kept putting his fingers down the back of her pants and pulling his hand out and sniffing his fingers.................So on to my review. Decent sized bar with 3 floors (plenty of room) and a so-so beer selection. Never ordered food here.

I have definitely experienced better pub-style food, and definitely found better beer selections in other Philadelphia suburban locations, but it's the warm, wide open atmosphere of the place that takes it up to 3 stars. Recently met my cousin and her son at GAP while they were on a tour of area colleges. My cousin ordered the Fiesta Chicken Salad. Her comment was that the chicken and dressing were good, but that the salad part was strictly iceberg lettuce, no romaine. Her son and my daughter both had the chicken parmigiana entree. The boneless chicken breast appeared to be a food-service company frozen, breaded, pre-made lump. My almost 16 y.o. daughter (a regular at TLA concerts) claims that "Steaks On South" has much better chicken parm, and that her order was only warm. My wife & I had the General Fayette chicken sandwich. They were decent, but nothing out of the ordinary. We also ordered Blue Moon on tap. I guess at $5 this is about normal. But again, nothing else jumped out as anything special as our server recited the beer slection. Granted, it's not a brew-pub. I see other people on Yelp griped about the service, but on this visit, ours was just fine. If you have a larger party, this would seem the place to go. Plenty of space and a warm, pubby atmosphere. But, if my wife & I head back toward Conshohocken to get something to eat, I'd rather go to Flanigan's Boat House a couple doors away. Their rotating local draughts makes it a worthwhile visit by itself!

I just finished dinner there and it wasn't very good. Pasta was way too oily. Also, they committed the ridiculous, unprofessional mistake of rushing out the entrees when we were not finished with the appetizers. Just shoved them on the table along with everything else. Would not go back.

Ok, I have been here before and had pretty good food/serves. Well tonight I went there to have a good dinner with my family. So we get there and get seated right away. Then this lady comes up 3 mins later and orders our drinks and comes back right away with drinks. Then we order. The food came out at a good speed and the food was pretty good. Then all bad happened. The lady did not come to our table and ask if we needed anything like refills or NOTING. Then like 30 mins after we finished our food she came out and said 2 boxes and nothing else and disapearded. So we sat there for a another 20 mins for our boxes. Then we wanted cake another 20 mins for takeout cake. WON'T BE GOING THERE FOR A LONG TIME. DON'T WAST YOUR TIME WITH A RUDE LADY AND A NOISY PLACE. AGAIN DON'T GO THERE IF YOU ARE IN A HURRY.

Average pub. Drinks are normal rate as is the service. Sometimes seems to be a very pretentious crowd, like you would see in Manayuck. Not really much to say but its your average run of the mill pub, just larger. Food = HORRIBLE! I had wings one time and they were fried so long they weren't even chicken anymore - they just petrified. My ex GF had a chicken parm sandwich that was frozen in the middle, literally. Also received about the worst service I ever have in my life. Not a bad bar to stop in for a quick drink but I wouldn't expect too much from this place. Sadly this is the best bar (hang out type bar) Conshy has to offer these days. I've lived there for about 7 years and the bar scene is pretty bad. Most locals travel out of town for the weekends. Bottom line; Food sucks and everything else is run of the mill pub.

I love coming here...G.A.P. has great food, good happy hour specials and I'm a big fan of the atmosphere. I live locally so when I have friends coming from out of town wanting a place to go and hang out this is usually my top choice. Just recently I had about six friends come down from NY, we went to GAP, ordered lunch and stayed for well over an hour. The staff was great and didn't make us feel rushed at all, my friends were impressed with the quality of food for the price point, and everyone loved the intimate setting and large fireplace on the upper level. Highly recommend for dining or its bar.

To die for roast beef sandwich on a Tuesday at noon. This place has reshaped this former bedroom community to one of the hipist areas in all of Montco. Only complaint is the wait staff are sometime too fake.

The Pub is the epitome of a 3 star. It can be a fun, albeit slightly overpriced place to drink. The bar itself is a 5 star - a gorgeous space that feels like you're in your really rich friend's parent's basement. It's great. The crowd varies depending on the time, with 9-to-5ers dominating the happy hours followed by the college crowd gradually creeping in. And it's nothing short of shocking that a place with a brick oven can make such a bad cheese pizza. It's like if Kevin Durant washed his hands, balled up the paper towel and missed the trash can from 3 feet away. Instead, the pizza tasted how Shaq's free throws look. The food isn't a complete lost cause, the sandwiches are reliable and better than your average bar food. But brick oven pizza should still be competing at least at a Pau Gasol level.

The food LOOKS just fine, but it's not. My group of 3 went stopped in here hungry one day for lunch and ordered pizza, wings, a cheesesteak and a turkey sandwich. We ended up with seriously sub-par food and a fifty plus dollar check. I'm not gonna go on and on about how bland and disgusting the food was, but I'll just say, save your money and go elsewhere. The one star is for the nice waitress:)

Best burgers around! If you go, you have to get the burgers! Such a great meaty taste. We took two friends there so they could try the burgers. We got there and they told us they were vegetarians (gulp!), they had veggies burgers and said they were great! I've had the pizza and apps when I go there now and again for happy hours with co-workers. Always good! I went there a few months a go because they hosted a fundraiser for Brest Cancer. I think it is great that they were doing that. I don't know what the others are complaining about, I have always had good service here. Was it fancy restaurant service? No. But still good service! Like I said, I am a fan! Go for a burger and a beer!

I felt right at home from the moment I stepped in. Expect a fairly large menu and an impessive list of beers on draft. The crab cake was chock full of crab meat -- a great way to kick off our meal. I had the angry chicken which some may find spicy. I think it was just right. My H had the meatball sub. They make meatballs every morning and run out of them quickly. I completely understand why: they are moist, light and flavorful. No bad seats in this place which gets quite crowded by 8pm. Plenty of elbow room, though and not very noisy at all. I will be back. Shout out to Caleb for making dinner a fun experience.

Went to dinner last night w/ my buddy, Detonator, we had just got back from the beach, and w/ storm approaching & me on the moto decided to stay in Chonshi. We sat @ bar, cause again that's what men do. Bartenders were nice & friendly, especially Shannon (loved her short shorts). We ordered calamari & a Waldorf salad and then some wings. All good except calamari, not crispy enough. This is a good spot will go back.

I really enjoy the pub...Its big, lots of space, nice couches, TVs, bars...i enjoy the atmosphere very much and they tend to get good crowds on the weekend. I like the lunches...roast turkey, beef, pork...one thing i will say...the GAP family of restaurants seems to think there is some type of potato shortage...they serve chips with their sandwiches and they always seem to be lacking...the other issue with this place is parking, never enough spaces...

  • Lydia H.

I have to say, I prefer this location to the one in Wayne. Conshohocken is much bigger and more inviting. (I always end up feeling claustrophobic in Wayne). Our group of five enjoyed an adult beverage at the bar, and headed over to a table for dinner. The overall experience was enjoyable; however, I wouldn't exactly call our waitress a ray of sunshine. Oh well. The food was good and reasonably priced (as were the drinks). I got the crab cake sandwich, which was great. The biggest downside to the place is the parking, or lack thereof. Whatever you can find on Fayette street or the side street is fair game, but we got there by 5 and still had trouble finding a spot. Make sure to give yourself some extra time when headed here.

I went on a Friday night and got a burger and beer and it took 40 min before it arrived. My burger did not come with fries which isn't a large gripe but it should be mentioned on the menu. It was a total bro fest that left little room for anyone else which leaves the outdoor seating as the only escape.

Went here with coworkers a couple times for happy hour after work. Eh, it's okay. I don't know how the pricing is, cause I never actually pay (my coworkers are all older and have the old fashioned women-don't-pay kind of attitude, which is fine with me!). But it's decent, I guess. The place is huge - it has at least three bars in it. But if you go at any peak bar hours it's packed. It strikes me as a mainstream pub where EVERYONE goes, and you have to squeeze through a crowd to get to a very cramped bathroom with a way-too-loud hand dryer (and no towels for those of us with sensitive ears and an aversion to hot air burning our hands). It's a college-y type bar, which I pretty much outgrew before I got out of college (well..... sortof), and my coworkers and I pretty much keep to ourselves on the lower level, where it's a little less loud and cramped. The bartender is nice, but the typical bartender - always busy, doesn't have time to talk, and you barely even get out your drink order before he's off helping someone else. Typical bar atmosphere but it is the most popular place to go in Conshohocken so the weekends get packed with early- to mid-20s people.

  • Daniel G.

Went to Great American Pub with two friends on one of the first weekends in which I lived in Conshohocken and was astounded by the sheer size of this restaurant. However, the way they have the place set up, it feels much smaller and more intimate (if that can be used to describe a bar). The beer selections were great, and the food was even better. The Philly Cheesesteak egg rolls were MUCH BETTER than my previous favorites at Iron Hill Brewery and the pasta fresca my friend had was amazing. I cannot wait to go back and try more of their food.

I don't want to say all the service at GAP is lousy, I'm sure there are some great hard working folks there, i just unfortunately never met them. After a particularly bad experience, i tried to write a fair and constructive letter to them which went unanswered. My dollar is my vote, and I I figure if I live in Conshy and they don't care enough about my business to even respond, I'll gladly cast it elsewhere. There are plenty of other "Great" places to visit if you're hungry or thirsty in Conshy, and I've never had the problems I had at GAP in any of them. They'd get 1 star for their service, but I added a second for the cooks. I never got a bad meal there and it's not their fault i got bad service, but with so many other options, I just can't go back.

I had started a brief review about the Pub that said something to the effect of "basic pub far with a higher price tag...don't bother, go next door to the Boathouse" ...and while generally I still hold that sentiment, I upped from 2 to 3 stars because I recently discovered the massive banquet halls they have on the 2nd and 3rd floors. This is a pretty remarkable space for a large private banquet, beef & beer, etc., and you won't find many options like it for miles. That said, their food is very forgettable and it has too much of a commercial vibe going on for me, with the exception of the front bar, which is old-school but super narrow. Not a place I think of when someone says "let's go out in Conshy tonight," but, still worth a shot every now and then.

  • Seve' M.

Lame. Point blank just Lame. Sorry if it is not as eloquent as everyone else on yelp but that is all I have to say about this "pub". As everyone knows I am looking for a new hangout in my adopted town of Conshy and I thought with the bright lights and ,what i thought was large, crowds outside that Saturday would be a good night to check this place out. Wrong. Boring atmosphere accompanied with a 70 year olds birthday party made this the snoozer of the season. Beer on tap was plentiful but overpriced and there really wasn't as many people inside as I thought there would(or should) be. Just an oversized bar with overpriced drink. Luckily you can litterally somersault to the next closest bar but still money and 15 minutes of my life I will never get back.

  • Beth R.

I've been here a number of times over the years, but tonight, and the last time I was here were both not really what I was looking for. Tonight, in the midst of march madness, the bar was pretty empty and half the people in it didn't appear interested in the games. The last time I was here was a Saturday night around 12, and it was wall to wall 21 year olds spilling drinks on each other. I felt like it was a completely different bar, but still not a scene I was really interested in. I recall liking it best when I came about a year ago for happy hour on a Friday - it was a better sized crowd and skewed more toward late 20's than barely legals. Might try that again, but probably won't be back on a Sat night or to watch sports in the future.

My biggest complain is the service. On a slow day the hostess took way too long to sit us down and the employees also took to long to take our order. The food is nothing special. Personally, I don't recommend the Cheese Steaks. Burgers are so-so. The ambience is nice, but the problems reported above, ruins the experience.

Not only does the service suck the food is just as bad.. Ive been here for lunch, dinner, drinks and parties in the ballroom.. The beer is ok but dont be surprised if you get attitude from the bartenders. You almost feel like its a bother having a cold one.. My girlfriend ordered a Vodka tonic... watered down and the lime was brown and old. When we wanted to sit down for dinner the hostess was rude to the people in front of us but a waitress came and sat us when the hostess took the others to their table. Then it took about 10 minutes for someone to realize we were seated and came to wait on us. For appetizer we ordered the cheese steak spring rolls.. ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? nothing but fried dog food and Im being nice..I ordered the chicken parm with pasta. THE WORST CHICKEN PARM IVE EVER HAD!! tasted like government surplus slop. To top it off we were sitting next to the kitchen where the wait staff stands around and could hear a few waitresses talk about the size of their boyfriends penises, smoking pot after work, and Anti -Jewish comments.. With a full view of the goings on in the kitchen, not one worker back there is American..They are all illegals.. This place doesnt own up to its name. Wont be going back.

I have been there many times, eh food just ok! It's great if you want to watch a late NFL game non eggle's not too many around they clearout. But the bartenders are rude as someone else said and if U are over twenty four and don't spend alot of time there, they could care less if they give you a beer. Service slow. If you after watching a game after main game over so there just for a beer or two.

I've been to parties, happy hours and networking events here, and while it's not my favorite place in the world to grab a bite to eat, you could do a lot worse (trust me, I HAVE done a lot worse!). I like the drunken shrimp but their sandwiches are pretty tasty, too. Just be prepared to be annoyed by the parking situation. There's almost always none around that area when you need some. But that's Conshohocken's fault, not the Pub's. So if you're looking for a place for a suburban gathering, don't forget about this place. It even has an elevator! Who doesn't love elevators?

Slow service and too expensive for quality of food. Might have just been half-assing it on account of it being so close to the holiday. Either way, I would only go back if someone else pays.

If you have a brick oven, you've GOT to do a better job with pizza than this place does. Very lame pie (tasted like frozen microwaved)!!! Staff IS indifferent (even a tad rude). I can see them treating plebians shabbily, but damnit - I'm clearly one of the beautiful people. Very good draft selection, and a nice three level layout/configuration - otherwise, Meh!

Great goto spot for lunch or dinner. Our office is in the immediate area and we bring clients to The Great American Pub all the time. Clients regularly compliment the restaurant. Menu has wide variety. Enjoy the specials. Ownership greeting customers as they enter for lunch certainly a plus. Kudos as they do a great, steady, dependable job.

I've been to the Pub many many times in my 8 years of working in Conshy. For birthday parties, going away dinners, happy hours...you name it and we've celebrated it at the Pub. They've done a good job of expanding the bar to 3 levels over the years and able to accommodate large crowds of people. They even have an upstairs that was part of the original establishment that I don't think they ever use except for private parties As Carrie E mentions, parking in the area can be a bitch (be extra careful of meters and timed parking spaces...they give out tickets very quickly after your time expires). I recommend parking a few blocks up off of Fayette on 3rd or 4th and walk down the hill. It's an easy walk down the hill when sober and an easier walk back up it when you have a few in you. The beer selection on tap is average. They have the standards plus a few atypical Belgian brews from time to time. Food is consistent and good. I'd recommend this place more for lunch because the menu reads more like a lunch menu with alot of sandwiches and pasta dishes. I'm a big fan of the Fayette Chicken and also the Lobster Ravioli. Kristine like the Eggplant Parm sandwich with the "buttery buns", as she calls them. They offer a lunch and dinner size on all of the pastas, so you are able to portion your meal if you so desire.

The food's ok. Nothing spectacular to write home about. I haven't noticed any really good happy hour deals in the 5 or so tines I've been here. After 10pm a lot of college/20 somethings take over the back bar so if you're older you probably are going to feel out of place. A DJ comes in around this time with his little multi-colored disco ball and takes music requests. There is some dancing that goes on as the night goes on, but I'd hardly consider this a dance club. Still it's fun on Friday/Sat nights and can get quite crowded!

Came here for lunch and with high expectations due to the recommendations of locals and the number of people in the restaurant. I was pretty disappointed overall. I ordered the Chicken Marsala with portabello mushrooms and mashed potatoes and greens, my colleague had their turkey sandwich. The chicken was completely bland, absolutely devoid of the flavor of the mushrooms or the sauce on it's surface. I could taste the distinction between the sauce on the outside of the chicken and the plainness of the inside. I imagine the chicken breast being cooked without any spices or sauce and then the sauce and mushrooms poured on top of it on the plate. Awful. My colleague did not like his turkey sandwich either. I don't think I will be coming back here again.

This place gets a 4 only because they don't do anything to get a crowd in there on non weekends nights. Great place, 3 levels, 3 bars. Suggest trying the crab cakes. Friday and Saturday nights are always a good time here.

I usually come here for lunch. Most recently a few weeks ago and sat outside which was really nice. If you love hoagies but don't want the carbs of the roll, order the Garbage Salad! It's a hoagie w/o the roll. Excellent. One nice feature is many menu items have small and large sizes. The inside is gorgeous and much larger with the renovations. I noticed a lot of the posts mentioning the parking situation in Conshy. yes, it can be tough. I think people don't realize that the parking lot at 1st and Fayette has several levels - you need to go down Harry Street and make left to get to the main entrance. If you enter Lot from 1st ave - it's just that one level - there's no access to the other levels. SAve yourself the aggravation.

Love to eat here in the warmer months-it's fun eating in the little booths and tables outside! I LOVE their burgers, classic and tasty! I also love their fries. Great place to sit and eat a burger, drink a beer, and chat with friends!

The menu has something for everyone, including vegetarians. The outdoor seating is lovely. The staff was nice, the food was good, and the prices were fair. We tried this place on a whim, and it turned out perfectly. I'd definitely return.

Like every local bar and restaurant they have Yuengling on tap. The food is better than bar food. And some of the specials are not that bad. Service can be a little sluggish. And I was one of those frat boys mentioned in the other reviews gathering at the entrance making getting inside the place an adventure :) This is one of my favorite local places to go.

Went here with co-workers after work and thought it was great. We all enjoyed the food and the service was good. The veggie burger is huge and REALLY good and fresh.

Great place to meet for friends for a happy hour & casual drinks, but the food could use a little work.

This place was pretty decent. I rated this 3 stars for the mere fact that I have not eaten at this establishment, we were here for drinks only. It was a busy place, which isn't a bad thing :) The place was upbeat, had a good mix of people, good drinks, and the staff was prompt at picking up empties to keep the place clean. The DJ played decent music, not too much of one genre or another, to keep everyone happy. There was a fight that ensued but the staff was right on top of it, and it was dissolved quickly. I would definatley go back again, and would love to try the food here :)

This place bores me to death. All their food is standard, cut to the same old mold, no creative fare. The beers on tap are all the worst beers that have been brewed = Coors, Bud, Miller, etc. The night life is so mindless too. If you're lucky enough to be at this establishment on a Friday or Saturday night after dinner hours you'll even get to hang out with finest area meat heads and bimbos.

I'd never eaten at the GAP before tonight. As a usual meeting point for the Conshy crowd, this is a large bar with lots of room and several areas to congregate. City smokers rejoice, the front bar is for you! Upstairs there is a large non-smoker section, with plenty of booths and chairs to view the big-screen TV. As far as bar food goes, the menu here is lengthy. I tried the special salad: coconut shrimp caesar. The shrimp may have been better as a stand alone starter, as the 5 shrimp were placed over a mediocre salad and I kept wishing there were more. Granted, this IS a pub so it feels wrong to only rate them for their food. The food is above average for bar food, as they venture to serve dishes like lobster ravioli. If you're aiming to get there early to grab a quick bite before staying to watch a game or meeting up with the Conshy crew, it's a decent choice. Lots of places to sit, spacious and casual.

Not too shabby! This place is bigger and nicer than the boathouse. 3 stories of boozetastic bars. Go up to the 3rd floor and weigh in at the old time scale when you get there that way when you get pulled over by the cops who sit DIRECTLY ACROSS THE STREET waiting for drunkerds to stumble out and arrest them when they climb in their car, and they ask you how many beers you drank you can respond with "5 pounds worth" and they will be so bewildered they will let you go! Just kidding, dont drink and drive kids! But if you do, watch out for the Five-O lurking nearby! There is plenty of bar space so ordering is not a problem, the crowd is hit or miss, sometimes packed on the weekends and sometimes dead... there is a HUGE awesome banquet room way upstairs that you can only access by secret Webster style mini elevator (little known fact) and the food is not bad! All in all, of the mini conshy bar tour bars (pub, boathouse, spamps) this is my favorite!

Average pub. Average booze choices, food is nothing special but nice outside seating and good location. It's a fine place to grab a drink.

The only redeeming quality of this bar is the Yuengling on tap - God I miss that beer! The staff is indifferent and the food is nothing to write home about. Weekdays are mildly crowded with some local business persons around happy hour, but pretty dead at night. Saturday is amateur night with a bunch of frat boy types drunkenly yelling, "I'm Rick James bitch!" Still. Don't be lazy, drive your ass into Philly... or at least Ardmore.

I had lunch here on a fateful Tuesday afternoon with a friend. I was immediately struck by the funky "home" decor (complete with fireplace in the "living room"), reasonable prices (less than 10 bucks for a sandwich and side) and figured it'd be a great meal. ....Boy, was I wrong. I ordered a chicken sandwich and fries. My stomach still hasn't recovered. I spent the evening offering sacrifices to the porcelain Gods and ruing the day I ever stepped inside. I wouldn't recommend it to eat ... but it seems like a nice spot to grab drinks.

Went here with coworkers a couple times for "Happy Hour" after work. It's a typical mainstream bar atmosphere. If you're of the college crowd and have a big group and want to start drinking at like 3 (before everyone else gets out of work) then go for it. Me, I'd rather go somewhere a bit quieter and with friendlier people.

Food is average. Nothing bad, but not special. Service is SHADY! I was there recently for happy hour, where they advertised $2 drinks. A group of us sat down at a table, had about 25 beers, and they charged us $3.75 per beer. They told us that $2 beers are only at the bar. We got ripped off. Wouldnt go back.

decent overall pub food, if ur going for a nice dinner or a date this isnt the place. good happy hour crowd and a great place to watch games especially in the oak room with all the big screen tvs. place is huge so it is easy to look empty some times but have been going here for years and always have a fun time. the service is good here, and prices are pretty fair but u get what u came for which is bar/pub food which isnt a bad thing, when u try to order their pasta or entrees u would be disappointed, stick with sandwiches, wings, pizza, fries (probably their best item) or there frsh roast pork, roast beef, or turkey carved sandwiches. i go with the roast pork it is my favorite! no special drinks or microbrews here standard miller lite, bud lite, coors lite, yuengling scene
