I came here with a meetup bike riding group. I have been to this facility 3 times previously and have always had a good time. There is a small selection of snack food so you wouldn't come here to have a full dinner. The beer is priced proportionally so you can create your own flight of beers at a reasonable price. The facility is clean and the staff is pretty attentive. There are only 2 TV's so I wouldn't classify the place as a sports bar. The bar does have several specials (game night, classic movie night, etc) during the week. There are several beer selections with a significant number of imperial beers. A previous reviewer complained about the clientele and the smell. Due to the location, it does attract a large number of bike riders who may be very sweaty. So if you are trying to impress a 1st date, a summer afternoon is not a good time to visit. But if you are riding the trail, this is a great stopping point.

Sorry - Two stars is the best I can do for this place, due to my experience here. Due to there being an entrance in the back, facing the Schuylkill bike/walk trail, it seems to attract the "biker" crowd. So, at mid - day on a sleepy Saturday, the place was packed with sweaty people in spandex, with at least one shirtless dude. Sounds sexy? Naah, it actually kinda reeked of a combination of "wet towel", "wet dog" and locker room. Not exactly an atmosphere convivial to drinking and eating. I also have to agree with some other reviewers as to the "bro/yuppie" type atmosphere.... the few non - bikers were definitely of the "I'm 30 so I know everything possible there is to know about life and I'm so special" group.... Needless to say, the three people I saw serving/bartending, were completely overwhelmed. The one took my empty glass (the "Pre prohibition lager) quickly, without asking if I wanted another drink, then quickly took my food dish away 10 minutes later, when I was done my pretzel, which was actually pretty good. After another 10 minutes of trying to attract someone, anyone's attention, I just gave up. I calculated the bill from the prices on the menu, and added a bit just for taxes, etc, and handed the one server the cash, said "thank you", and walked out. Don't think I'll ever return.

The 3 cheese panini was delicious! We also had the pork sandwich, hot dog and pretzel- all were good but the panini stood out. My husband tried a few beers & liked them all. I like the Conshy Blonde. The staff's very friendly. It's also kid friendly- we had 4 kids with us and they had a blast!

This was our second trip here. The first time, they weren't open yet but the staff let us try some samples and pick up a growler fill. That was very nice of them! The second time we were able to sit in the tasting room and try some beers. They have 4 oz, 8 oz, and pint options to try their beers. I love that since sometimes I cannot finish a full beer. I got a 4 oz English breakfast and 4 oz Blonde Ale. I loved both!!! The boyfriend also loved all the beers he tried. We also got a pretzel with cheese and sweet mustard while we were there to snack on. The pretzel was huge and perfect for two people. I loved the sweet mustard, it was so good!!! We cannot wait to go back.

I will start off by stating that their beer is great. I had the pleasure of trying their Belgian Stout and Luck of Lucien. Both were quite enjoyable and look forward to sampling more of their beer menu. Other than the beer, there is not too much else going on here. You are basically in a small warehouse type building away from the main drag of Conshy. The location actually caters to the cyclists as it is right off of the bike trail that takes you into the city. As far as the atmosphere goes it is kind of dull. As for the food, save your money for the beer! Believe it or not the "kitchen" is roughly a 6 ft area situated behind the already cramped bar. A very limited menu, where most items are cooked from a portable oven or George Foreman Grill type of machine. With sports personality and food connoisseur, Glen Macnow's, name tied to this establishment you would think he would find the food operation side as unacceptable. You would also guess that the place would have more of a Philly sports vibe. Both of these areas are lacking which makes Conshy Brewing Co. a one dimensional establishment. You come here for the beer and the beer only, which again is quite good. I will close by saying that this establishment did remind me of the very early stages of Victory Brewing Co. That may not be fair to say given the monster that Victory is growing into, but it definitely made me think of V. 53rd review of Conshy Brewing Co.

Great location! Cool setup. Pretty clean unisex bathrooms. The beer was good but good grief the service is abysmal. There's table seating and bar seating. I'm not sure if there is table service other than dropping off something that's already been ordered and paid for at the bar. That's kinda the issue... There's no rhyme or reason how to order in here so it's more or less a free for all at the bar. I wanted a couple beers for my table so I went up to an empty spot at the bar and stood.... And stood.... And stood. Meanwhile the folks behind the bar took their sweet time filling growlers and prepping clean glasses. There never seemed to be the notion to them that the bar was busy. Random would-be patrons tried planting themselves between various open seats near the bar to get served and had the same problem I did - invisibility. I have no idea what it's like if it isn't busy, but if it's busy, you are going to really wait for service. Finally a person next to me got the nerve to kinda shout at one of the employees for attention. It is something I would not do but, hey, they ordered and turned to me (realizing I had been waiting longer) and said "and this person wants..." so I could piggy back off the same order. Not an overall warm and fuzzy feeling as a first time visitor.

Beer is delicious, and I love the taproom decor. Opening night was a madhouse, as another reviewer noted; but it seemed to be running smoothly on a subsequent night. I also love that it's in Conshy; there really isn't any place like it in the area. Great to see a truly local, artisan beer available here. PS... The food menu is sparse, but I get that's not their sweet spot. Am also looking forward to having their IPA or Spring Ale at Bar Lucca or Stone Rose soon.

I'm so excited to get a tap room in my home town. The beer is great, the atmosphere is wonderful and the people who work there are cool as shit. Ryan or "Neuf" was able to recommend a couple different beers and his knowledge of the hops was extremely impressive. His personality and interpersonal savy skills are an asset to your Tap Room. It's young men like this that you should take pride in in having a part of your business. This kid is gonna go places in life. Keep the beer flowing and the garage doors open. I'll be back. Just change the dinosaurs on the menu, it doesn't make sense.

If you can find Conshohocken Brewing Company on the street, it is definitely worth the trip. It's fairly easy to reach, although the front is very unassuming, so keep your eyes peeled. If you take the Schuylkill River Trail, you can just ride or run up to the back deck. I had a pint of the porter that they had just tapped that morning, which was refreshing and a good example of the style. It looked like it was going to be watery, but it ended up having a nice thickness to it. I also had an 8-ounce pour of my favorite Conshy brew (Tandem Amber Ale). I was a little hungry as well, so I grabbed a bowl of the beef chili, which was fantastic--lots of beef and pepper flakes that had a nice heat. I was also able to try my friend's flight, which included an IPA and an English-style brown ale. I have never been to a brewery where the prices were quite so cheap. Between my drinks (a pint and an 8-ounce), my friend's flight and pint, and my bowl of chili, the entire bill only came out to $22 and change. I actually think the food was more expensive than beer, which is always welcome at a microbrewery! Conshy Brewing Co is characterized by its small space and friendly bartenders. When I walked in around 6 PM (only an hour after opening), it was rather quiet, but it started to get lively around 7:30 PM. There were even games like Jenga and Connect Four to play with and a great outdoor deck with heat lamps. I really enjoyed hanging out here and I can't wait to come back again.

Super pleasantly surprised! I came here this past Friday and it definitely exceeded my expectations. Upon walking in, the brewery reminds me slightly of Victory as both breweries have a warehousey vibe, it was still brightly lit, clean and fairly crowded, but not too crazy for a Friday. It also looked like it is in a remodeled auto garage? Does anyone know if this is true? Anyway we sat down and took a look at the beer menu, the pricing structure is awesome. It is totally designed with people biking in mind who may not want a full beer, or who want to try different beers without having to purchase a whole beer flight. You can order a baby beer, a small beer, or a pint I want to say? I ordered a pint of the pale ale and it was pretty good. Some of my friends got pretzels and they smelled amazing. I don't see any beef with the food menu as I think the goal here is to go and drink and maybe eat some nachos, but not to have a sit down meal. I feel like they could have had some more games other than jenga, like maybe cards available or something along those lines, and the lighting was horribly bright inside which made me feel a little self conscious of my beer buzz. Other than those minor adjustments to the ambiance I don't have much else to say other than I can't wait to come back here especially in the summer and I'm really excited this place popped up!

I go for the beer and atmosphere. I wouldn't consider this a food spot, but if you are on the path or nearby it's definitely worth a visit. There a few things you can get off the menu if you are hungry. The beer can change seasonally but I like the blonde. I live close by so it is an easy walk for a fun place to hang out with friends. It's always a requested destination by friends that are visiting.

After riding past this place many times and longing to stop, my husband and I finally decided to make this a destination for one of our bike rides. We were conveniently able to leave our bikes on one of the two racks next to the Schuylkill River Trail. Most people didn't lock their bikes but we decided to lock ours. We left our helmets and water bottles with the bikes and came back to them with no problem. Ok so now for the good, the bad and the odd. The good: The beer was pretty good! We got a four beer sampling flight with the Blonde, Saison, IPA and Belgian IPA. All four were tasty and good for what they were supposed to be. We also ordered a soft pretzel to split. It was large, fresh and hot perfectly hitting the spot. Our total bill was under $10- score! The service was pretty speedy. They also have a juke box with a great selection. We heard one of our favorite songs while we were in there and we weren't even the ones to select it. The bad: The place was swarming with bugs. I understand they keep the back door/window open but they were constantly all over us. I would have stayed for another round but I was being eaten alive. The odd: At one point one of the employees came over to our table and asked us if she could scoot our table back a few inches. We complied but had no idea why we were asked to do that. No one came to the table behind us and we weren't in anyone's way. This scooting seemed like it could have waited until we were gone. I enjoyed the beer, our experience was quick and inexpensive; I'd definitely make another stop back. It's nice to have another local brewery in the Philly region.

As you walk in the front of the building you go down a long hallway with the brewing equipment behind glass on your right. This brew pub has a small bar and restaurant area towards the back of the building. During the warmer months their back deck is a great spot to relax and have a few beers. They do have a small food menu but the focus is on the beer as it should be. I ordered a flight so I could try several of their beers. Their Triple was one of the best I have ever had. The Conshy Brew Pub has some quality beers and I can't wait to go back when the weather warms up.

Conshohocken Brewing Company might be my favorite part about living in Conshy. For starters, all of the beers we have tried are delightful. There are different glass size options and can do flights to try multiple beers. I'm a big fan of the belgian IPA. The set-up is a little odd as you walk in down a skinny hallway to back bar with a few tables and a great deck that looks out to river trail.Modern interior with some really cool wooden sections behind bar. People watching is great here. I have seen someone in elbow pads and rollerblades at the bar every time I've been here. Bar tenders have provided great service every time we were there. We even got a growler to take home some of their brews. Bike racks outside and looks like most people don't even lock them. Go here!

Loved the place! It's back in the cut along the bike trail in Conshohocken. I love that it's away from the hustle and bustle of Fayette St. This was my first time here and I absolutely loved it...will def be going back. Numerous reasons why I loved this place...first of all the beers are really good and you can get multiple sizes (4, 8, 16 oz). This is great for those who want to try multiple beers for a low price while being able to walk out of your own :) second I loved that the bar staff came out to get our orders instead of yelling over the people sitting at the bar. It was a beautiful night out so we stood out on their deck, love that the place is so open. We met a few couples out on the deck, one of which had their dog with them. One of the waitstaff came out with a bowl of water and dog treats. I thought this was great. Being a dog lover myself, I love that we found a place we can bring our dog, have a drink and socialize with fellow craft beer lovers.

Great local brewery with good beer and growlers to go. Limited menu, but the pulled pork is excellent. They have a deck overlooking the bike trail, so you can ride right on up and grab a brew. Just opened this past year, hope to see this grow and expand.

The Beer: I've tried 7 of their beers so far. Their Pale Ale, IPA, and ESB are pretty good, especially the ESB. It's worth coming to this place just to get the ESB. The foreign extra stout is also OK. The Double IPA I had was very malty for a double IPA, and not very bitter for a double, or even a regular IPA. I'd believe you if you told me it was only 50 - 60 IBUs. It does have some hop flavor, but it's covered up by the maltiness. 1/5 for the Double IPA. The Atmosphere: Crowded and very loud. I guess I went during their opening week, so I'm not really holding that against them. The main reason I don't like the atmosphere is because of the smell. There's a sewage treatment plant down the street from the brewery so the back deck and inside the brewery smelled of sewage. That's a shame...not good planning. Even besides the smell, their is nothing very appealing about the atmosphere here. It's just a bar with an outside deck with a few tables around. No TVs big enough to really watch sports. No games like jenga that you find at biergartens. No good food to eat and be merry with friends. And it's definitely not a music type of place. This place is really meant to be a place you come to do a beer "tasting" and be on your way. Too bad the beer doesn't taste very good. The Food: Their kitchen sits in the corner of their bar and consists of a microwave, small stove and a ton of canned ingredients. People who are into craft beer are typically into fresh tasty foods made from scratch. I don't think anyone likes staring at a bunch of canned beans and tomatoes while they eat drippy salsa served to them along with bagged chips.

Great beer selection. I hope that they have room for expansion as this spot gets really crowded. Outside deck - standing room only, but being on the Schuylkill Trail makes it nice for an afternoon beer. $2 off growler refills on Tuesday..glad to have this place in the neighborhood.

Who: Wife & I with another couple When: Saturday Night 9pm-ish One Word First Impression: Garage Wife's One Word First Impression (WOWFI): DUDES! What did we eat: Pretzel. It was decent, but let's be honest, not going for food, as other reviewers mentioned. Now...what did we drink: 1st: Oak Aged ESB (5.4% ABV). Read reviews praising this brew so went with a 16oz. Doing so was my greatest regret. Full disclosure, I'm a hop head and love IPAs but I was looking to branch out. Upon the first sip I was overwhelmed with a metallic taste. Just to confirm it wasn't me, I passed it to my wife and she confirmed the metal taste. Weird. Is this normal? 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th: Pale Ale (5.4%); IPA (5.1%); Double IPA (8.8%); "Puddler's Row ESB (5.4%) 4oz Sampler Tray. Now this is how I should have started things off that evening! All great brews, favorite was the Pale Ale. LIked it so much ordered it in a 16oz pint I'll take a quick second to address the sewage smell mentioned in other reviews. It was non existent on our visit. Overall, good experience. Really loved the 4, 8, 16 oz options for pours. Atmosphere could improve a little, decor seemed stark. However, I did love the ginormous TouchTunes machine. Word of warning, watch your ABVs. The beers went right to my head and I was suddenly transformed into "that guy" who wanders over to the TouchTunes and puts on "Let It Go" from Frozen. Good times!

This is a cool place. Located right along the Schuylkill river trail, they've got bike racks in front of their deck if you want to hop off your bike to grab a beer. If you're lazier, there's a massive parking lot to park in (signs will guide you to it). I only got beer here on the first visit but I thought it was good. I like supporting local breweries, all the bartenders and servers were really friendly, and it's a cool ambiance (it has an industrial/warehouse vibe that reminds me a bit of a "lite" version of Frankford Hall in the city). There's a wide beer selection on the chalkboard complete with descriptions, ABVs, and prices. Food menu is limited but this is not the place you go for a fancy dinner. More a casual place to grab some drinks with friends and maybe some snacks/light meal. There is a deck that overlooks the trail. It is pretty narrow and there are no tables or chairs (you can place your beer down on the railing) but it is a cool spot to hang out and they did have servers taking drink orders from people standing out there. Unfortunately the summer is winding down but I hope I can get out here at least once more before it gets too cold for the deck.

This is my first time here. I know they just opened, but this place has crazy potential and they are just not cutting it for me right now. I have tried five beers and two out of the five were good (hence the rating). Hot dog stand food that is just frozen Costco prepared and it is put together right behind the bar. The front isn't lit well and it doesn't seem like you are walk into a brewery that serves food. Back deck over looks the bike trail. Overall, I feel like they could have used the space a lot better. I'll be interested to see if they come out with better beers.

My boyfriend was so darn excited when this place opened up just a few blocks from him, but somehow it took months before I finally got here. Glad to say I finally did, and I think I can say it was worth the wait. I'd read too many of these yelp reviews, and frankly had no idea what to expect - some painted it as a dirty garage, others as a Conshy mecca. When I finally arrived, I was pleasantly surprised - the place is big, open, and seems very clean. We didn't come for "snacks", just to drink, so I wasn't concerned about the lack of offerings. (Neither, it seemed, was most of the clientele on this late Friday night). The beer offerings, however, were great - such diversity! I settled on the red ale, which was delicious, and delightfully strong. I followed up with the saison, which had similar characteristics - after two, I was done. If you want to try a couple, you're in luck - they offer 4, 8, 12, and 16 oz pours, which means you can mix and match as much as you'd like. The place itself is definitely a work in progress - my boyfriend noticed sparse decorations that had recently been added. There were some nice touches, like the chalkboards, but there's still a lot of work to be done. The deck, which hasn't been stained, has no chairs, though that does allow for more people to squeeze out there. That's provided the stench from the waste plant isn't too bad, and people are trying to stand out there at all - definitely depends on the wind. Come for the beer, bring a friend, and I bet you'll enjoy yourself.

The kiddies were all in a tizzy awaiting the opening of CBC. I must admit, I may have joined in on the excitement. So when a friend asked to happy hour on a Friday, I suggested CBC. The deck is a lot smaller than expected. Also - the lack of chairs was a bit odd. If they had a few bar stools, we would have stayed out there. Instead, we came inside and ordered some of the snacks. The snacks were terrible. Why is that "pizza" even on the menu?! I understand the kitchen is limited, but there are better and more elevated snacks to be offered. I tried the Double IPA, which was good and packed a potent punch. The Pale Ale was less impressive. I can say that service was great. Our waitress was adorable and was running around taking care of everyone. My review won't matter much since this place was hopping. I will have to try again in a few months.

Been wanting to come here since they opened but living in DC doesn't make that an easy venture. We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and got ourselves a flight. Each tasting was exceptional and the price of the flight ($7) shocked us pleasantly. There is no real extensive menu here but the beer quality and selection is phenomenal. I can't wait to swing by here the next time I return home and catch a Phils game on a summer night.

Great place to drink outside when you're in Conshohocken. This place has been open for a year and is located right on the river trail. All beer's brewed on site and they rotate different types of beers seasonally. You'll hear a lot of people complain about the lack of a food menu. Its true, the food isn't really that good but it's not a full service restaurant. It's a brewery. They are also really accommodating if groups want to bring their own food in. If they bought a grill and started selling cheeseburgers this place would really take off. Overall a really good place to drink in the area. Conshohocken doesn't have many outdoor drinking spots and the location speaks for itself - big garage doors and an open deck. The building is an older warehouse style building with cement floors. Hopefully they will expand their menu soon but for right now keep the beers cold!!

We had been looking forward to the opening of Conshohocken Brewing Company for a while, and finally made it out a couple of weeks ago on the weekend. You'll be able to find street parking easy enough, if driving was your mode of choice. When you walk in, you get to walk past parts of the actual brewery, with an opposing wall showcasing historic Conshohocken. Once through the hall, you've made your way into the bar - which is really more of a drinking room with one side open to a deck and the bike trail. I like it. The fact that they don't serve a huge menu means you can just seat yourself and grab a couple of beers. I love that you can get any size you want! I went with just an 8 oz of Doll's Eye Cascadian Dark Ale (CDA or black IPA). It was tasty, but alas I was the designated driver. The fiance enjoyed all of his beers, and took opportunities to have a couple 4 oz pours. The service was very attentive and the bites menu looked enticing. Perfect sandwiches and pretzels to pair with your brews. I didn't order any food, though by the time we left, the pretzel sounded so good. There were maybe two tables open when we were there during the afternoon. The spot seems to be pretty popular with cyclists. Who knows, maybe the next time we drop in, we will be cyclists too! I really liked that the atmosphere said "welcome, sit, enjoy our beer, enjoy yourself" and not much else. No really - that's a great thing - and that's exactly what we will come back to do!

This is an idea that should be replicated throughout the land. Set up a brewery next to a popular multiuse trail. Because if I know one thing, it's that cyclists love to drink beer. Tried their double IPA and the pretzel after a jaunt out to Valley Forge. It hit the spot, especially after a 50 mile bike ride. I dunno if you can buy their beer inside the city limits. I don't think I've seen it but I'd definitely pick some up. It's way better than some of the other beers I've had around Philly.

Knowing that this place was small, I tried it on a less busy night. It is located near the trail, so anyone can stop by after a bike ride or run. I love Pilsners, so the waiter recommended a Golden Ale. It was a good beer. What I love about this place is that I can order beers in the 4 oz, 8 oz or 16 oz size. The 4 oz is perfect for sampling all the different beers they have here. The prices aren't bad. The different choices for food are small, but I hope they expand their menu. This place is a great addition to Conshohocken and I will definitely come back.

This place had promise. I was excited for this new brewery for the area, however there are numerous problems. Lets start by getting there. If you are not familiar with Conshohocken you may have issues finding this place. It sits on a one way street, with no signs or markings to notify you where it is at. The only way I was able to figure I was in the right spot was due to seeing the large brewing vats through a window. The brewery sits in an industrial area & with no signs it blends into its surroundings. Good luck finding it... The bar is actually a two car garage. Seriously, there are two garage doors that open up onto a deck. The walls are grey cinder brick. The whole place lacks any personality, outside of the pretty wooden bar and chalkboard beer list. They have a touch screen juke box, which you can not hear because the place is extremely loud. The "two car garage" was crowded with people talking, standing shoulder to shoulder. It was extremely crowded, making it a frat like atmosphere. Its also not warm enough to have the garage doors open. I could tell most of the women were freezing. I came for the Double IPA, which was kicked so I had their Pale Ale. It was alright, not the best, but def not the worst Ive ever had. My wife had the Coffee Stout. It was good. Both of us approve it. There is no food. If there is food, there is no where to comfortably eat it. If you were able to get a table/seat, there are too many people crowding around, yell talking. Like I originally said, this place had promise. I really wanted to like this place. I just cant. There is nothing I can truly say positively. I believe most of these issues could be addressed and in the future maybe this establishment may change my mind. In the meantime, I would suggest sampling their beer at another location, if they are available... Unfortunately, I will not be going back.

Better than expected! Prices are decent. Tap list is extensive, at least 7-10 to choose from. Loved the industrial look to the brewery. Everything is made of recycled pieces or refurbished making this place extra eco-friendly! Awesome back deck overlooks the bike path. As of now, they don't have much food so only come thirsty. Great spot! Will be a regular.

It gets 3 stars for the deck only. The inside is small and the food is beginner. They could totally setup their game in terms of food. From what i hear the beer is good but since i am gluten free could not give my advice. Wine they either have red or white which actually i appreciate it. Its a brewery. The inside while small is cool. I wish the deck was bigger but I think they are dealing with town restrictions. I would recommend this place in the summer. Bikers and joggers stop by and you can cat call them or wave.

  • Mike I.

Decent variety on tap. I had their Chinook double dry hopped IPA, which was delicious. They had another IPA on tap and both were low 5s in ABV. Strange for IPAs but still good. It was refreshing to see a Blonde and ESB on tap. Will have to try the ESB next time; the brewer has won multiple awards for it. You have to walk down a hall (with windows peaking into the brewery space) to get to the tasting room. Simple layout, but felt spacious enough. Only downfall I've noticed so far is the god awful smell from the water treatment plant on Elm. I think it gets worse at night. You can't smell it once you're in the brewery, but it leaves a bad taste in your mouth leading up to entering.

I checked this place out on a Friday night. It opens at 5 and we got there at 6, and it was already packed to the gills. There was no chance of getting a seat anytime soon, so my plan to sample all of the beers was somewhat compromised. As you enter the Brewing Company, you walk down a narrow hallway toward the bar, past windows giving you a peek into the beer-making process. The bar has two garage doors in the back that open out onto a small deck overlooking the Schuylkill River Trail. I think it would be an excellent idea to throw a bike rack out there. I would totally take a break from my ride to grab a beer here. I sampled all of the beers but the stouts. They are surprising low in alcohol (even the double IPA) and ranged from 4 to 6 percent. You can sample with 4-ounce pours for $1.25 each, 8-ounces are $2.50, and 16 ounces are logically $5.00, once you find beers you like. I enjoyed all of the beer I tried, my least favorite was the Golden Ale, because it reminded me more of a Pilsener, but it is a great selection for those who do not like hoppy beers. My favorite was probably the spring ale, which was a little bit hoppy, but light enough to enjoy over the course of an evening. The food options are very limited, likely because it did not appear to have a kitchen. So be prepared to eat before or after you leave here. You can grab a snack though, hummus or salsa and chips run a reasonable $4 and $3 respectively for large portions of both. The most meal-like things on the menu were a pizza flat bread or a pulled pork sandwich. There is also vegetarian chili for the vegetarians.

I had a great experience at Conshohocken Brewing Co! A buddy & I visited on a sunny Sunday afternoon. We parked out front on Elm Street and sat at the bar. We tried several different beers, including a blonde ale (my favorite) and a really good IPA (my buddy's favorite). I also highly recommend the pulled pork sandwich, and soft pretzel. This bar is bike friendly, dog friendly, and pedestrian friendly. We spent some time on the deck as well, after sitting inside at the bar. Our bartender, Kevin, provided excellent service, greeting us immediately upon seating, and making recommendations. Overall, this was a 5 star visit, and I will be back very soon!

We love Conshohocken Brewing! We recently had a terrible experience for my husband's birthday at Coyote Crossing (so bad that we had to walk out...it was just awful). Anyways, we walked to Conshohocken Brewing in an effort to salvage the night. We are SO glad we did. The moment we walked in, we had three bartenders asking what we wanted to drink. The staff is excellent! This might not narrow it down a ton, but we specifically dealt with a thin, bearded man and a reddish-haired woman and they could not have been friendlier/more accommodating. The open deck was awesome and the drinks and food were great too. It started crowded (but not too crowded--like I said, we got our drinks and food promptly), but by 10 it started to thin (still busy, but seats were available).

This place was pretty disappointing. Atmosphere: LOUD, small, and full of bros/yuppies. I had never really thought of it until now, but Conshy must be where the late 20 somethings migrate to after Manayunk. I wasn't expecting a meat market type atmosphere even during a Friday happy hour, but that's totally what it was. The size and acoustics don't help at all either. It was hard for me to carry a conversation with the person across from me and it was too crowded for my liking. Beer: OK I guess, if not mundane. I appreciate the low gravity aspect of their beers, but the selection was boring for me personally. The beers were executed OK although half of the ones I tried had too prominent of a hop bitterness than was appropriate for the style. Also, $5 for a pint of low gravity marginal beer that traveled 10 feet is just a bad deal all around. Food: Essentially a joke. I assume they don't have a full kitchen (yet?), but the food was simply not good. The food preparation is obviously an afterthought, but I would even go so far as to say the person prepping the food has no experience. I got a pulled pork sandwich which all you need to prepare is a crock pot and pork and that's essentially all I got. No sauce, no cole slaw, just dry pulled pork on a (stale) bun. The portion size was what I would expect a 12 year old to be served too. Can't imagine I'll be back.

I've been to many a microbrew, and the bad news is, the beers here weren't particularly impressive. We had a flight of 4, and they were okay. Not amazing, but not bad either. That said, this was definitely the cool place to be in Conshohocken. It's a little bit tucked out of the way, but it was a 15 min walk through a nice trail from our hotel. Tons of bikers and joggers passing through stopped by, so there were tons of young people. Definitely the best social hub in Conshohocken for people in their 20s. Very reasonable prices for beer and munchies. And it didn't hurt that the bartender was a hottie.

If you are coming here for the food you are in the wrong place. This is a brewery tasting room that serves food so that you don't starve while enjoying their true love, their beer. We had the slow cooked pork sandwich and the three cheese panini and they were good. We also had the Conshohocken IPA and the Puddlers Row ESB and they were very good. The highlight of our visit, though, was the atmosphere. The location, the energy and the spirit that embodies the craft beer movement was embodied here! Give it a try if you love beer and the entrepreneurial spiit that abounds within the industry at its base.

What a welcome sight, 30 miles into a 50-mile bike ride. (Though I wish we had known there was trail access before we detoured and rode through town to the front entrance.) 3 friends and I spent part of a sunny afternoon here this spring. I loved that you can order a half pint for half the price of a full (i.e., they don't gouge you for a smaller glass). This let us sample many more beers, all of which I liked. We all ordered pulled pork sandwiches, though I should note that they didn't have enough pulled pork, so one of us had to change his order to a hot dog. I enjoyed the pulled pork. Nothing special but it hit the spot. The entire back wall was open to the air, so it was warm in there, but not unpleasant. Nice that we could see the bike rack from our table. Waitress was friendly. All around, a nice experience. Definitely going back. On my bike.

We visited the brewery on a Sunday afternoon and they were crowded. My wife got the veggie chili and I had the flatbread pizza. Both were good. Out of the five samples I had, my favorites were the Doll's Eye Cascadian Dark Ale and the ESB. The pale ale was a little too hoppy for a pale. It was more on par with the IPA, which was better.

This place has promise, but needs a lot of work. I love their logo and they have a decent beer selection, although I tried one that was utterly undrinkable...tasted like dish water. The staff is super friendly sand accommodating. Hopefully over time they will improve. One last tip, don't get the "pizza," it was literally sauce and cheese on a cracker type crust. My fiancé and got both got a stomach ache from it too.

So first time I stopped by it had only been open for a few days and was super crowded that I looked and around and didn't stay for a drink (I'm thinking that new factor played a role and was to be expected, I knew I was taking a chance). I made it back not to long after. Great place. It has a small deck with large open back that lets in the fresh air and light. I sampled 2 by my choice and 2 by recommendation. All were good. The best part is you can sample various sizes at more than reasonable prices. Staff was friendly and very knowledgeable of their craft. It also has a number of TVs so it shows potential as a place to go catch a game. They recently expanded their food menu which I think was a good idea (mostly snack type food looked good but I've yet to try anything yet).

I love this brewery. Their beer is great. It's a great place to go out on a casual night. The food options are limited. I will definitely be back.

Really nice find. Great beer at reasonable prices. Small but tasty selection of food to go along with the beer. Loved the vegetarian chile and the pretzel. Friendly service. Next to the river bike path.

This place was awesome. Laid back environment with great beers. The garage doors opened into a cool patio area and the overall feel was very chill. The brewmaster was super knowledgeable and explained how the ingredients are procured and brought to life. The beers were awesome. Personal favorites were the Hail Fire Red and the Oatmeal Stout. Also, a surprisingly good ratio of women in attendance for a Thursday night. Great service. Great beer. Great times.

Such an awesome, different place to have in Conshy! We have needed something different like this for a while. The beer is good - I like the IPA, double IPA, and the light ale. I'm excited to hear that more food options are coming as this is the only thing missing. The location is good near the river and I love that it has an area to sit or stand outside. The only issue with the location of the tap room is its proximity to the sewage treatment plant. I lived on that side of town for a few years and Monday evenings in particular are very stinky.

After grand opening was over, CB became a great place to hang out. Beer is great. Food is premade or just okay. But it is a brewery, not a brewpub. Take it for what it is....great beer.

Pretty good beer - had the DIPA, Pumpkin, Tandem (with La Colombe coffee) and Imperial Wit. Everything was pretty tasty and well made. Dog was welcome on the outdoor deck and it was nice that one of the employees brought out a water bowl and gave our dog a treat. Nice atmosphere. Will for sure be back.

Great new brewery with lively little taproom. Lots of wood gives it a down home feel and garage doors open things up to a nice deck facing the river. Good selection of brew styles, including a sessionable IPA, a slightly hoppier double and a really smooth pale ale. The chili looked good, but I stuck with a couple of big Bavarian soft pretzels. Friendly crowd all seemed to enjoy this new addition to the neighborhood!

So happy this place is here in Conshy. Large variety of beers brewed on the site. All very good. Staff is always really nice. I'm constantly going to fill up my growler and I've recently begun buying kegs from them so I can have it on tap in my house. Their beer is now on tap at a lot of local restaurants as well. This place is awesome, keep it up!

This place is awesome. Love the garage doors opening out onto the bike path and the space inside is perfect for a big group or just trying some beers with a buddy. Oh, and the beers are great. Favorites so far: the Saison, the double IPA, and the CDA, but everything is tasty. They also do small pours for a couple of bucks so you can try pretty much everything. There always seems to be a new beer on the list every time I go. Just a great spot and looking forward to trying their Fall beers!

Good food, beer, and a cool place. I had the hummus $4, veggie chili $5, and soft pretzel $3 and they were all very good. The IPA $5 was hoppy and delicious. Finally, this is perfectly located on the Schuylkill River Trail between Spring Mill and Conshohocken and is outside. Highly recommend this place.

Food was not worth getting. Salami sandwich was eek ( think wawa pre-made sandwiches are about same level) pulled pork we took 1 bite and both didn't go back. We were hungry so ordered the chili tasted like it was burnt with a really bad after taste. We left with 90% of our food on the table. Beers were ok - we had a flight and only really liked 1 beer. Sorry :( it's such a cool concept but need to step up the food to make it good.

Not your average bar. Wonderful asset for bikers. Love the double IPA and IPA. Service is excellent. Hummus and pita is very good. Need another bike rack or two please!

Went here for the first time last night because I heard the Quizzo DJ was good from the week before. Food choices were simple, but very good, but the beer wasn't very good at all. I was surprised at this since they brew on premises. Basically though, they over-hop everything. I had 4 different pints, but couldn't find anything I could drink more than one glass of. No session beers at all, from what I found. If they could fix this problem, the place would be great, but as of now, I won't be back.

This is a great addition to Conshohocken. The brewery is located in a commercial type building so its easy to miss if you don't know its there. The back opens out onto the running trail. Relaxed atmosphere with indoor and outdoor space. Definitely recommend stopping by for a beer or two or three. They have a small menu but really its a brewery so go for the beer not for dinner.

Just went there for a little Sunday relaxation and this place is legit. Staff is super nice, beers are stellar, and the outdoor deck along the bike path is great when it's nice out. This is definetely a refreshing option in the otherwise stale Conshy bar scene.

I have never met a beer at CBC that I didn't like. The staff is great, super friendly & professional and the atmosphere is chill. Fabulously convenient location, a great addition to the Conshy scene and right off the S. trail so this is a big hit with those who are into a refreshing beer amidst their physical activity, (lotsa bikers runners rollerbladers etc pop right in off the trail). I don't go to a bar, let alone a brew pub to look at the fancy decor... I go to drink good beer and enjoy the company around me - so if that is what you're into as well, you will without a doubt have a 5 star experience. The menu is pretty simple but it's good and if you look around, ain't no kitchen so considering that fact I think the menu covers the bases of curing hunger pangs (pulled pork sammy, beef chili, veggie chili, soft pretzel, chips and salsa, hummus and pita, and hot dogs if i am not mistaken). The ESB is my fav, and their compilation beer with la colombe (belgian pale ale) is magically delicious and a close second. I hate to pick favorites, but I can't help myself... I also love me a tripel and it is dangerous how drinkable tripel deke is, so if you like it as much as I did make sure you get yourself a DD or a cab or a helmet for your journey home ;)
