Decided to go a little fancy for my anniversary dinner this past May, and since we hang out in Conshohocken so much we decided to finally give Stella Blu a try. We were avoiding this place for a while mainly because we are cheapskates when it comes to food sometimes and would rather pay $6 for a burrito up the street. Since it was a momentous occasion we decided to treat ourselves. Atmosphere inside is small but really nice. We went out on a Thursday night around 8 pm so no crowd, but I'm sure Friday and Saturday nights make this place feel more cozy. We sat in a really nifty spot where we were up a level but facing down at the bar. Prime people watching when this place is hopping I'm sure. Probably will request this seat as much as possible. Food we had AND would recommend: -Chipotle mussels -Scallops and lobster risotto -Sweet potato gnocchi The mussel dish was big enough for 2 people to share so no need for a second appetizer. We did not have 1 closed mussel in the bunch AND there was at least 2 dozen given to us. The scallop and gnocchi dishes were phenomenal. We really want to try their lobster mac and cheese because all the reviews rave about it, so that will be saved for our next journey there. It is a pricy place but the dishes definitely match the prices. My dining partner had a large leftover, but I was a pig and decided to not have dessert so I could keep eating mine. I have to give props to the wait staff also. It seemed like they share the tables because about 4 people helped us with dishes and drinks, but none of them were too intrusive. Came when we needed them and asked us if we needed anything just the right amount of times. Parking is kind of a bust. If you live close enough I would suggest walking because it took us a little while to find a spot (We were super lazy because we normally walk). Also the bar liquor and wine list is great, but the beer list is kind of small. Probably to attract a certain type of crowd BUT we noticed their beer prices were a buck or two cheaper than the other bars, so that is a plus.

This tacky restaurant had the worst atmosphere of any restaurant I've ever been to. We arrived close to opening and the staff acted as if we weren't there or when they acknowledged us it felt like we were a burden. They held loud conversations yelled across the restaurant and discussed inappropriate subjects such as race, things they'd recently seen on Twitter, and what kind of jumpsuits they liked wearing while we tried to enjoy an overpriced dinner. The food was not great, ranging from delicious to inedible. The lobster mac and cheese was awesome. Lamb chops were not cooked as requested, sauces were bland and pasta was simultaneously overcooked and undercooked where it was clumped together. They obviously tried to pry the noodles apart, gave up and served it anyway. Try throwing some of the money your patrons spend on mediocre food into hiring competent staff, redecorating so the place doesn't look like a 13 year old girl was put in charge (really with the Christmas ornaments hanging from the ceiling and glitter flower swirls on the walls?), or significantly lower your prices to reflect your shit atmosphere, uncomfortable service, and subpar food.

The food was amazing! This place was highly recommended and it did not disppoint food-wise. We did run into a bit of trouble with service. It was difficult getting refills on drinks. And service was terribly slow. We went with a company outing and asked they keep bring a bottle of red and white for our guests. We spent most of the evening trying to get the bottles refilled. Our evening was cut short too. We were told our dinner had taken too long and there were patrons waiting on our table. That had never to me before, particularly at such a nice restaurant!

Conshohocken has a very limited number of restaurants especially late at night. Since my friend and I are visitors to this town with no car, it was too late for us to go anywhere so we ended up picking this place for dinner. The building was cute historic looking and when we walked inside, it had a fancier small feel to it. We were seated immediately so that was a good start. Everyone in the restaurant seemed to be older but I think partially because there was a football draft going on that night. Lets talk about the food one. I ordered salmon while my friends ordered food off the appetizers (much cheaper price). Honestly, I wished I ordered something off the appetizer and spent half the price. The salmon was only alright. The seasoning was bland and felt like something was missing. I am not that picky when it comes to fish so I was a bit disappointed. The service was also very slow. At one point, we were frustrated that our waiter never came back for water or to ask if we were done. There was a lot of sitting-waiting time. Overall, food and service were alright.

My boyfriend and I went here on Thursday night. The restaurant has a really cute vibe and is nicely decorated. I chose the restaurant week menu and had grilled peaches, prosciutto, and mozzarella with a balsamic drizzle for an appetizer. For an entree, I had tuna steak and we had a cookie pie for desert. He got the lobster mac and cheese without the goat cheese. Everything was delicious! The food had so much flavor. Their menu is huge too, so there's something for everyone. The place is small, but cozy. It's a good date place even if you are just going to grab drinks at the bar.

Went there with the family and had a great time. Service is great and food was delicious. We ordered Parmesan scallops which were the best dish, Chicken parm, grilled romaine salad, and the cookie pie and red velvet cake. Definitely order dessert! Only complain is that it is a bit dark and hard to read the menu and at times a little loud. Will definitely come back!

Had two of the small plates the meat and cheese and the mozzarella and asparagus. The latter was great while the former was average. The meat was fine but the cheese selection was lacking, the smoked Gouda was served like it came of a platter at a banquet hall. The bar was lively and perfect for a single diner. I'll go back and see if I can bump the stars, I want to like this place more.

Stopped in Friday evening around 6...it was quiet, but service was oddly inattentive, both at the bar and our table. In general, I think when it's not crowded, many places seem to become too relaxed in their service approach. Anyway...I had the fried polenta and a roasted fig flatbread, both of which were yummy. Hubs had the filet...it was cooked past the medium he likes...and at $39, it's a mistake that is literally and figuratively tough to swallow.

I liked Stella Blu and I really wanted to give them more stars. Service was good, location is convenient (right where 476 and 76 intersect), and I really enjoyed my meal. But the prices were just a bit too high. I think I may be spoiled, living in the city and having dozens of great restaurants within walking distance. Restaurants in the city need to be top notch and price their food just right, or it'll be easily replaced before you can even blink. I always forget that Conshohocken has a plethora of deep-pocketed Main Liners who want a great meal without having to sit on the Schuylkill for an hour and won't flinch at paying $20 for a plate of penne alla vodka. For me, my $26 plate of mushroom ravioli was tasty but not worth the price tag for me to visit again. BUT I will say that this is a great destination for a nice meal out in Conshy.

Great food, accommodating bar but terrible service. Although I've heard this place had good lobster ravioli, I definitely have had better. A few friends enjoyed the scallops and the lobster mac and cheese was absolutely delicious! Came on a Friday night and there was "live" music. Live being a girl singing "karaoke style" behind the bar. She was pretty good. Overall good experience. Definitely enjoyed my food.

Dined here on a Saturday night with a party of 6. We started off with a variety of apps which we all excellent. The meals were delicious as well. I felt the portion sizes were perfect. Not so much you had tons to take home, but also enough you felt you got your monies worth. I had the crab, tomato and pasta in a light wine sauce. It was full of flavor without being too thick or heavy. Everyone had a great meal! Wine selection was also plentiful and the staff was knowledgeable and helped guide our decisions on all of our menu questions. Restaurant itself is a bit tight, but its apart of it's charm. Easy to find off 476 & 76, they also offer valet parking which is a plus. A bit pricey but definitely a must if you are looking to pass on city dining.

For a local neighborhood spot, I really enjoyed it. Service was attentive, but not obnoxious. The risotto and scallops were actually really good. Perfectly cooked, well presented. I have been to Gypsy up the street which is similar...but as a person who travels for work and frequently eats by myself, I prefer this spot. Good, solid meal. I'll be back!

Such a great spot! The quaint interior is so warm & decorated uber classy. The menu was diverse & exciting. Food was great. Mimosas were beautiful. This is a place I will be visiting regularly for sure! More of a professional, sexy crowd, not sure I will come with my kiddos, but definitely without them

Ate their tonight. first time. Had eaten at the sister restaurant Gypsy many times love it. Stella Blu was very disappointing! Women at the door was almost rude in her manner. Sitting upstairs the tables are small, which would be ok if he wait service assisted in moving plates when new dishes arrived. The Salads were good. The main courses were not very good. I had the lobster Ravioli. Sauce was to heavy for the good lobster Ravs. The sausage was to strong for the dish, the asparagus as well as the crab meat couldn't be tasted, being over whelmed by the sauce and spicy sausage. (mind you, I love spicy sausage) As if they were trying to do to much with one dish. My associates had a red pasta dish which also was way to thick and no real character. It's to bad as it's a very cool looking place and I had high hopes given my experience at Gypsy.

Stella is by far my new favorite thing on the planet right now. Amy A. and I ended up here for happy hour a few weeks ago, after receiving no service at their sister restaurant, Gypsy Saloon. Immediately upon arrival at Stella Blu was the complete opposite - a warm welcome by a manager/hostess and the adorably amazing and professional bartender. I think his name is Anton? Not sure, because most of my visits are hazy. Either way, everyone has been super nice and attentive, and we've always had a great time. The space is gorgeous; it's fairly small but decorated very well. It's all brown wood and blue decorative accents and makes me feel a little classier just being inside. I've only been for happy hour, which is AMAZING. M-F from 5-7 they have $4 select wines, $5 martinis (and when I say martinis, I mean creative, delicious STROOONG martinis), and half price small plates. On our last visit, we split an order of calamari (11 full price) off their "small" plate menu. It was enormous, and each piece of calamari was amazing. Really light, cooked well, and drizzled with an aged balsamic vinegar in lieu of a dipping sauce. So good. The rest of their menu looks so ridiculously good, but a little expensive for my everyday taste. Would be a really great date night spot.

Unlike some of the reviews, I thought their service was the best thing at this restaurant. I have been here a total of 3 times, no problems at all with service. I just think their food could be better. The foodie in me is just not impressed or excited to come here.

I've gone here a good amount. The bartender is awesome, she always makes fantastic drinks on a whim. The food is good- the wedge salad is delicious and the lobster mac n' cheese is a must try!

This is a Happy Hour review. My fellow yelper and bff Lauren W. have been there a few times (she also reviewed) and we've had a great experience every time. We stopped in before dinner in the city. I was hungry, so I ordered the small plate of calamari. Small plates are half off, by the way. Small plate this wasn't. It was larger than most appetizers I've ever seen. It was heavenly and hit the spot. Stella Blu has an amazing HH special, house wines, martini's, and select beers for around $5, some less. Anton, one of the bartenders is friendly, hilarious, and makes you feel at home as soon as you walk through the door. I've had the cosmo, various champagne cocktails, and their house pinot grigio, all delicious. I can't wait to have dinner there sometime soon.

We arrived in Conshocken and checked in to our hotel only to find out that the US Open was happening in Ardmore at the Merion Country Club. We thought the restaurant would be mobbed with golfers and their fans but we were wrong. Luckily we had a 6:30 reservation and the restaurant which is owned by two gals from Conshy (they also own The Gypsy Saloon and the Southern Cross Kitchen) was not busy (neither was the bar). So we had a quiet and delightful dinner from 6:30 to 8:00 pm with great service. Kudos to our server and the busboy. They kept the meal rolling, took away the dirty dishes and refilled the glasses with water or iced tea. We started off with a nice spinach salad with spiced nuts, cranberries, feta cheese and apples. This was a tasty combo of fruit and greens which was served with a tangy lemon dressing. A very nice late spring salad I split with another (this was ample for two). My husband loves food that is loaded with cheese and fat (sorry to say) so he ordered the small portion of lobster mac and cheese for $15. Well this was a bit much for an ok portion of the comfort food but it only had four (yes we counted them) pieces of lobster and lots of the cheese sauce to eat. I tasted it and in my foodie's opinion - don't waste the money on the carbs and fats. For dinner we dined on the lobster lover's special, a split broiled whole lobster that had been brushed with butter or oil (I'm not sure but there was something on the shell). It was topped with a mound of colorful cherry tomatoes and served with an oily somewhat spicy pasta side. As I've said before I'm not a fan of grease so I worked on that lobster and some of the yummy tomatoes and left the pasta behind. Yes the lobster was good but they could do better with the sides. How about a nice steamed veggie or some potato creation? After all it's dinner, it's the weekend of the US Open and father's day. So in actuality I paid $25 for the 1.5 pound lobster with some cherry tomatoes on top. This was not a good value as I can get a 2 pound lobster with two sides at Michael's Cafe in Timonium. However, I enjoyed my meal, the ambiance of this little Conshy restaurant and my server's excellent hospitality. With a little care and some more attention in the kitchen I could have given this cute place a 5 star rating. As it is, this rating is 3 for the food and 1 for the service and the pleasant surroundings. And yes the prices are too high for the portions and the chef's average creativity with his plates.

Great corner locations itch big windows allowing s lots of natural light by day. Tasteful somewhat unique decor with warm brown tones offset by light blues and shimmering silver/crystal/mercury glass accents. Nice sized rooms are big enough without feeling overwhelming, so a fairly intimate atmosphere. Attractive clean looking quartz topped bar, comfortable high stools. Our lunch service was friendly, helpful and efficient - but a bit slow, perhaps understaffed. Great salad selections at lunch, hard to choose between the unique offering. Our seafood salad and wedge were great. I thought the prices were really reasonable for the overall experience. Seems like HH is a hit here too, and with the location close to office buildings and hotels - I can see it would be lively. I will be back.

Everything was great, especially the lobster mac & cheese. The only issue we had was that we walked in to an almost empty restaurant and were sat directly next to a party and then another party was sat right next to us while the rest of the tables remained unoccupied.

Been here a few times. I love their Steela Blu fries and their lobster Mac n cheese is pretty good. I crave it time to time but its a bit oily... I know it's fatty but instead of creamy cheesiness, I noticed its oily. I also like thei grilled romaine and roasted beet salads but I do think their pasta dishes are a bit overpriced. I don't think they make their pasta, do they? It's a cute place and service has been good all my visits :)

Stella blue. Lived in area my whole life and never been here. We'll I have been missing out on another local gem. Kim has a knack for creating great ambiance to go along with very tasty and interesting dishes. We had a party of four and we all were very satisfied with our apps, entree, and dessert. Service was very good. The owner/owners of this spot along with their other 2 spots the gypsy saloon and southern cross should be proud. Very nice. Nick d.

So delicious! The only reason didn't get four stars was we were there for dinner during Happy Hour and our table was in the bar area.... but the Happy Hour specials only counted if you were seated at the SMALL bar.... weird.

Sat at the bar with my girlfriend for a drink. Ended up staying all night. Dan, ( one of best Bartender's, I'ever had ), and owner Kim took great care of us! Tried scallop appetizer, and had a perfectly made Manhattan. Also tried squid appetizer, and then we split lobster ravioli. Fantastic night!

Really Stella, who are you? Why won't you show us the real you? You seem kind of Italian, but wait maybe you're Japanese, or Thai or plain ol'Merican. I just can't tell. You look great and my lunch was very tasty, but I just can't get a handle on who you are. Your younger sister Gypsy seems to have her act together. Does that make you feel insecure? You know every one loves you and we just want to see who you are. We're here for you.

Tried this place for dinner last night. Upon arriving the ambiance looked great and I immediately knew we picked the right restaurant! It was romantic and sparkly, like Christmas in July. But as the night progressed this place got less and less appealing. The food, service and the cocktails left something to be desired. First the service. Our waitress, much like the restaurant was all looks and no content. She came across as cold and snobby and unhelpful when it came to ordering. When she first greeted us we told her it was our first time dining here and I mentioned how much I like the ambiance and asked for some recommendations. We received no welcoming words, no recommendations, just more time to look over the menu. Next the drinks, my White Sangria tasted odd and bland and the fruits that were supposed to be in it, according to the menu, consisted of a piece of lime and a maraschino cherry (you know those fake looking cherries) that were added right before serving. Now when I read "Sangria with fruits" I expect chopped fruits like apples or peaches or oranges that had been left for several hours at least, to soak up the wine. I would have overlooked the lack of fruits if it had tasted good but it did not. The food was equally unimpressive. We had the Artichokes, the Fried Romaine Salad, the mussels and the pork chop. I wont go into great detail, let's just say nothing stood out and nothing was worth ever ordering again. Especially the Mussels. I ordered them in a white sauce. They had a weird unpleasant taste to them. Maybe the red sauce would have been better but the waitress didn't steer us one way or the other. I wasn't planning on ordering dessert but after the disappointing meal I wanted to find something worth coming back for to such a cute looking restaurant. Alas, the dessert was also blah. We got the most chocolate looking of chocolate cakes, a safe choice we decided. Well... the taste reminded me of the big cakes people at work order from Super Fresh, for anniversaries and baby showers. It's edible but certainly not worth the calories. Oh I almost forgot. Their selection of tea was embarrassing. I admit I still kept looking for something to like about this place so I ordered hot tea with my dessert. By now all the self respecting restaurants know to serve Mighty Leaf or Harney & Sons or at least Twinnings. They had Lipton and Stash! Come ON!! Luckily I found a bag of Bigelow green tea. Not terrible but certainly not my top 3 choice. One last warning: don't eat the bread. I had a piece in the beginning while we were waiting for our food. Not only did it taste bad but it made my stomach churn all night.

I come here for the pasta dishes. The lobster mac-n-cheese and crabmeat risotto are both very good. The risotto is cooked in an onion broth and accented with mushrooms and crabmeat. I topped mine off with a sprinkling of parmesan and it was delish. The mac-n-cheese is very rich and creamy, and the lobster gave it a nice seafood twist without ruining the flavor of the cheese blend. The lobster ravioli was accented with sausage and crabmeat and was slightly spicy. I'm not sure if I like my creamy pasta spicy but I did manage to finish the dish so it was definitely decent. Everything else was decent but nothing to rave about. They try to serve everything, from pad thai to veal, but I'm not sure if I want to try the Asian dishes at an obviously Italian place when there are some great options for that nearby (Thai Orchid, Margaret Kuo). The place itself is very cozy and always bustling with patrons. Service is attentive and friendly, and the prices are good.

Very, very nice. Starting with excellent service, a wonderful moderately priced wine list, this turned out to be a true foodie find in Conshy. We split a small order of the lobster mac and cheese for an app. It was very rich, tasty, not quite heaven, but close. For entrees, the swordfish special was cooked (as requested) perfectly medium and not dry at all. It was surrounded by a lovely asparagus risotto. The risotto was very rich in it's natural creamy goodness, which was a bit too heavy to eat it all. But the texture of the risotto was a perfect al dente. It was topped with a spinach sauteed in chunks of garlic. Good thing I've been dating this doll for awhile, or the garlic could have been a deal breaker. :-O My friend had the chicken Marianne, which I was assured was tender, very fresh perfectly cooked chicken with artichoke hearts and mushrooms in a thick white wine sauce. Again a touch rich, but very very good. We were entertained by a wonderful singer, Elle, and it made for a great evening of food, wine and song.

I had the rodeo sandwich here during my lunch break. This included cheese, onion rings, bbq sauce, and fried chicken. The sandwich bread was great. The meal came with french fries - great quality. A couple bucks overpriced, but its good stuff. def will be back, not for the rodeo burger, but for the ambiance and decor.

Went there for lunch today. Had the Ahi Tuna salad special. The tuna was nicely seasoned and cooked perfectly. I would vote to make this a regular part of their menu. One of my fellow diners had the Apple Salad and was equally impressed. Service was prompt and friendly and the atmosphere has always been a plus.

Also the owner(s) of the Gypsy Saloon. I'll keep this one short since my review of this place is relatively the same as the gypsy saloon. Go for the lobster mac and stay for the laid back ambiance. Prices might be a tad bit high but pretty close. Food is really good and this place is more than worth it for a here and there place. I usually always get the lobster mac so I just go to the gypsy saloon and that doesn't make me feel bad since they have the same owners. Bottom line; Lobster mac is signature dish. Prices are above average. Service and ambiance are about average.

My family and I went to Stella Blu on the night of my birthday, and it was not a wonderful experience. When we arrived, the hostess/owner had a quite an attitude when we inquired about seating in a quieter area of the restaurant (because I had explicitly asked for that when making the reservation far in advance). When I asked the hostess/owner about it, she stated that she couldn't accommodate that with a lot of attitude, and that was that. Next, our waitress was incredibly rude and short with us. I understand that people have bad days, and being a waiter/waitress can be quite stressful, but she was outright rude to us throughout our meal, and hard to track down when we needed something (tiny restaurant so that made it even more frustrating). We ordered salads, calamari, and fish and meat entrees. All of the food was quite sub-par. Personally speaking, my pork chop was dry to the bone. In addition, not to sound snobbish, but the bread that was on the table before dinner was stale. Even though the quality of food was not good, what really upset me was the attitude of the staff - super unfriendly with a ton of attitude. The restaurant itself is cute, but the prices are high for the quality of the food, in my opinion. It is important to note that at the end of our meal, the owner approached us and asked how our meal was - we were honest - not expecting or wanting this is any way - she cleared the check (minus the tip), which was unnecessary, but an amazingly nice thing to do.

Went here last night for dinner. Service was bad, the waitress made us get up after sitting down because she wanted to move our table. We had made the reservation for 6 and they had set the table for 8 then they wanted to know when everyone else was coming. We only had 6 --HELLO?!?!? Then they crammed people in behind us, because it was a busy night and in order for one of us to go to the bathroom their table had to get up and half of ours did as well. Also they allowed WAY too many people in the place so as we were sitting and eating people were walking by hitting us with their purses and coats. Not very fun. She kept joking that she had bad hearing but she literally could not understand a single thing we said. We ordered wine to split and she asked if we just wanted one glass to split- there were 6 of us there.?!? We had the lobster mac and cheese as an appetizer. It tasted GREAT! So overpriced. It was $32 and everyone got about 6 noodles. We also asked for bread---because it is what you usually get at restaurants with dinner, and she brought out 5 pieces, did I mention there were 6 of us there? I also ordered the White Sangria- St. Germains, Champagne, wine and berries on top. Well this sounded delicious because of the berries, I got one gooey cherry and a thin orange slice on the rim. Either rename the drink because it is not a sangria or take it off the menu when you do not have the ingredients listed. Scallops were extremely salty. I ate the asparagus and risotto and most of the scallops- but no one bothered to ask me if everything was okay. Probably will not be going back.

Yummy:). My husband and I just happened to be in the area and I found this place on a search through iPhone. The staff was friendly and our server was great and very precise on helping to choose what was best. I had the salad and loved that they put chick peas in it. I added avocado to it and they happily obliged. I also added the grilled shrimp and it was perfect. Their bread and oil is really tasty. It was a great experience. I would highly recommend.

Stella Blu was fabulous! We sat at the bar and enjoyed some Malbec in beautifully designed wine glasses and got several of their small plates to share. The salmon roll was nicely presented with a seaweed salad and very fresh. The pad thai was ok, but nothing to write home about. The bartender was incredibly nice and brought out a complementary order of their house specialty, the lobster mac and cheese, which was wonderful! It was very rich with an impressive amount of lobster meat. Parking on a Thursday night was atrocious and after circling several blocks and nearby neighborhoods we settled on the convenience of their valet service. It was well worth the $5. I will most definitely be back and I can't wait to try their other restaurant in Conshohocken too!

One of THE most beautiful/magical/charming restaurants I have ever dined in... Everything from the bright blue window trim, exposed brick, elegant iron cast high-seats to the enchanting chandeliers and sparkly wall decor makes it difficult to not be enamored by the hidden Conshy gem. Even the heavy menu covers exude charm. On to the food: Although the lobster mac & cheese is too high-calorie for my liking i DID take at least four HUGE pieces of fresh lobster from my mom's plate (incredible). I had the Swordfish Salad special...The swordfish was perfectly grilled and flavored (outside was slightly crunch and inside was melt-in-your-mouth perfection. The odd-shaped cups, and even the garlicy, seasoned olive oil + bread sealed the deal on this one for a 5 out of 5 stars. ITS THE LITTLE THINGS!

Very cute restaurant and initially the service was good. We were served the grilled baby octopus with saffron potatoes... and the potatoes were rotten. We gently brought this to the attention of the waiter and he brought the manager. She questioned us several times whether the potatoes were rotten or not, and I asked her to taste them if she doesn't believe us!! She glared at us and brought us the bill. They did deduct the price of the dish but the service and how they handled the problem was not professional.

I have to say - some of these bad reviews below seem to be very picky customers that caught a very busy staff on a very busy night. I haven't had anything but a pleasurable experience at Stella. The service is so great, the girls there are fantastic and always recommend a great wine to go with whatever I'm ordering. My boyfriend and I have been there twice in the last few months and I'll be attending again this Friday for Happy Hour! The food is always cooked to perfection - we went a few months ago and I got the veal chop with grilled peaches and goat cheese. Seriously? The best thing I've eaten in years. I like how their menu is constantly being changed or added to but you can always go back to the favorites (lobster Mac & Cheese, um yes please!) Their muscles are genius, we really enjoyed those and they had quite a kick to them! I also love that there is cheap Valet parking - especially since it's located at an awkward spot in Conshy for parking. You just pull up and the super nice attendants hop right in and park for you so you can enjoy your meal - handy in the cold weather. I also love that, apparently their "sister" bar & restaurant Gypsy Saloon is not even a block up the street - it's more of a bar atmosphere so we always walk up the street for an after dinner beer and what not. All and all Stella is always a great night out for me! We love the decor, the service and the food.

Went there on a Wednesday for dinner. Place was packed -- glad I made a reservation for my party of 3. Food was really good. Tons of flavor. Menu was pretty large with lots of options. They even had a very nice seasonal menu of fresh, local food. Service was decent -- not the best, but certainly good enough. I don't spend a lot of time in the 'burbs, but would definitely go here again if looking for a good meal in Conshy/KoP area.

Ok, my husband and I went there for a pre-valentine dinner based the recommendation of a friend. He read the review and thought it was a wanna-be kind of a restaurant but I convinced him and so decided to give it a try. We started off with a kir royale which was subpar. Maybe we're used to the real French cassis, but the creme de cassis tasted lime strawberry. We started with the small plate octopus dish was pretty good. Then, My husband ordered the Tomato Caprese Risotto. We sent it back because it was basically cubes of cheese with a bit of rice. He then ordered a Veal & Polenta. He had wanted to order this in the beginning, but the description of a fried egg on top seemed completely overdone. This time, he ordered it without the fried egg and it was greasy but passable. I ordered the grilled scallops that were not fresh, smelled fishy and was way too salty. The bill came to $100 for two with the tip. Our server was very nice and attentive so we gave her a good tip. I will definitely not go back there again for these prices. I honestly don't know if the people who gave it 4-5 stars really know what good sophisticated food is. I don't mean to be a snob, but this restaurant is trying too hard and does not know where its focus is.

This place looks a little scary from the Marriott across the street - but it is really a nice place. I had a grilled salad and a small plate dinner - great!!! The staff is easy on the eyes as well.

I had a great meal here last week. It was a Monday so there were pretty much zero people there. I ordered the filet mignon with a gorgonzola and truffle sauce, which was pretty darn awesome. It was my birthday eve, so I was trying to max out the saturated fat. The broccoli rabe was perfectly cooked, and the bartender made me this "Marilyn Monroe" martini which was quite festive.. THen I had another one. So, I don't really recall what my fellow diners had, but they were all pretty psyched about their meals too. Our server was sort of disengaged, but she still provided great service.. Just seemed slightly pissy? Who knows. ANyway, great meal, eclectic choices, I would definitely go back.

Great food, great service, our go-to spot for dinner with clients. Our office is in Conshohocken and it is an easy choice. I enjoy watching local businesses excel. The owner is to be commended. Enjoy it so much, I have been back with my wife who also enjoyed the restaurant very much. Best for two person meals or small 4-6 person groups.

My girlfriends and I hit Stella Blu for happy hour and dinner last night, my first time in since their renovation. The space is now much more airy and polished. There's finally room to sit at the bar (I think 10-12 seats) and enjoy some of their great specialty cocktails. Call them to arrange a group happy hour of 5 people or more and they'll take great care of you...we got additional drink specials and some free appetizers. The staff really went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Their new menu is no longer just Italian...big focus on small plates, but some traditional entrees are still available as well. If you have a large party for dinner, you'll need to split into two tables as they don't have a place to accomodate a big bunch at a single table, but we were close enough together that it worked well for us. They no longer take reservations for dinner but will for lunch. There's free parking in the evening across Front Street at the Tower Bridge parking garage or in the small lot nearby or valet park at Stella Blu for I think $5.

My favorite thing here is the lobster mac & cheese, which I could eat every day of my life (until I died from lobster poisoning and being a complete and total fat-ass). Everything else is good...not great, but really decent every time. Their recent face-lift did a great job (although the boy and I like to play "what's from Ikea" when we're there, because seriously, you'll recognize about 75% of everything as Ikea chic). For over all vibe though, I still rather go right up the street to Gypsy Saloon - same owners, basically the same menu, better bar.

Every dish we ordered from the small plates menu was spot on. The decor was "trying too hard" and the regulars seemed pretentious, but the kitchen was flawless. Deft hand, beautiful ingredients and lots of care.

Food was ok, service was ok. Nothing to write home about,. Prices were reasonable. Parking is a problem in this neighborhood...

This place seems to suffer from an identity crisis. You really can't put your finger on what type of restaurant it is. It's exterior suggests Italian, the decor screams Ikea chic, some of the dishes desperately try to be upscale, but it doesn't really succeed at any of it. The service is quite good, but you can basically get the same experience and food at Gypsy down the street.

Love this place! Huge menu and wine list, great selections, and everything is delicious. Great ambiance, and great staff. Currently is my favorite place in Conshy!

Very cute and intimate little restaurant. The food however was just OK. I went with a group and ended up ordering the french onion soup and a house salad. Maybe I just ordered the wrong things but the soup tasted out of a can and the salad wasn't properly seasoned. Presentation was very on point as was the service. I would go again to give it a second chance

You've got to be kidding with all of these great reviews. Well, I guess for a suburb it;s not bad, but if you weren't in Conshohocken PA this place would close down. I had the lobster mac and cheese appetizer which was $18 for a dish with one very small and NOT very fresh tasting lobster claw (yuk). And then I had a $12 shrimp appetizer that had 4 small shrimps over some iceberg lettuce. What??? Complete ripoffs, and I was travelling on an expense account! Plus, there are usually Real Wives Of NJ types sitting at the bar smelling up the place with their perfume and getting drunk and picking up old guys and talking about how tan and fit they are and yet they are so very ugly. It would almost be funny if it wasn't such a cliche. The whole scene is gross, and the food is so overpriced it is obscene. Only go there if you must.

They've changed chefs too many times. A few years ago this little place was much better. Blackfish and Stone Rose are much better.

So glad I walked across the street to this place. HOLY COW - the LOBSTER MAC AND CHEESE was divine and they get a full 5 stars just for that dish alone! Full of chunks of lobster claw meat and creamy noodly goodness! I also got the mini burgers, an arugula salad and a piece of carrot cake. The bartender (CJ?) was especially friendly which was a nice touch. For a Tuesday night, the place was packed. If I ever go back up to Philly again and stay in Conchy, I will go back there without a doubt!
