I have been visiting 5 Guys since the chain appeared a few years ago. There is no fancy, fun, or crazy burgers here. It is the best alternative to fast food burgers. A personal point is I avoid all chain places and if it comes to "boutique" burgers there are many better choices. I wont bash this location or any 5 Guys they have a good ordinary burger and fries. This location is right near one of my customer sites and when I'm in a hurry I hit this place. The people working the joint are excellent, the place is always clean and since it's in a larger strip mall there is ample parking.

For Five Guys being a chain burger joint , this is probably the best fast food joints out there. I and we all know when someone says fast food we all think of the worst, too many calories, too much grease, I shouldn't be eating these types of foods, but yet I will substitute my gluttony with a diet coke. I've been coming here a few times seeing it is about a 1/4 mile away from my job, so far it is not bad . The customer service here is good its pretty much simple ordering if you ask me. You ask for what you want and how you want and badda boom you got it . We all know of 5 guys so I will try to keep it simple , and for those who don't know about this place go in ... give a whirl. Great place to get a burger or a dog, and why is it nobody ever talks about their dogs? They cut that little guy in half, place it on the grill and nothing taste better than a dog that's been grilled. Myself I will mix it up every once in a while, from the bacon cheese burgers (regular ones, not that junior non sense) . I'd go with two dogs with cheese, bacon, grilled and raw onions, couple shots of ketchup with cajun fries. Winner in my book, along with their tasty burgers (with bacon of course) Best thing also is when your order is ready it is given to you in a brown bag with added fries over top of your order. Yea we all know that grease stained bag that is holding that mouth watering meal. These guys are in a great location, plenty of walking traffic, the manager is a friendly guy. Good stuff , plus if you feel guilty go to the gym

I had 5 Guys in California and it was just ok there and knowing it's an East Coast thing, I thought maybe it would be better here and honestly, it's just ok out here too. The burgers are of a decent size and there's good flavor in the burger itself but it came across to me as a bit too greasy and honestly, I'm not a huge fan of the fries at 5 Guys. In my opinion, the best fries are served at In-N-Out, the waffle fries at Chick-fil-a, and Burger Bar, Las Vegas (sweet potato fries). If you're into the thick cut fries then this might be for you. I'm more into skinny fries but fries that are a bit more crispy than their thicker brethren. Service here is ok. The at the counter was not very helpful as he had not tried more than half of the menu (at least he was honest about it) and the place is clean. Maybe a bit too clean as some parts of the restaurant smelled of clorox. There's plenty of parking as it's a huge shared lot with the other stores in the plaza. Honestly, nothing to write home about but definitely a step up (in quality and price) from the other fast food chains (i.e. McDonald's, Hardy's, etc) Parking: Plenty Wait: 5-10 mins after ordering Price: $9+ per person

Love myself some Five Guys! Great place for a big Saturday lunch. Cannot go wrong with a bacon cheeseburger and some of the best fries known to man. I'll do lettuce, tomato, grilled onion, pickles, bbq, and hot sauce, with cajun fries please. Massive helpings. Fresh as can be. Awesome prices. And if that wasn't enough, they have the coolest soda dispenser on the market, the touch screen Coke machine! It took me years to try Five Guys, but that was a mistake on my end. Don't you make that mistake. You've been informed!

I don't go looking for burgers too often, and I'm usually not in the market for fast casual, but on the rare occasion that I am, I do enjoy Five Guys. Burgers here are very good. I would put them at better than most places, but not as good as places like Spot burger, Bobby's, or Village Whiskey. I recommend the standard sized burger with lettuce, tomato, onion, hot peppers, and pickles. The fries are also quite good, and they give you a lot extra by throwing an entire extra scoop in your bag for you. It's nice, too, that they give you peanuts to eat while you wait. The interior is pretty much ultra casual, no-frills burger joint. The black/white/red decor is evocative of the '50s diner aesthetic. Plenty of room in this location, but it does seem to get busy sometimes. The staff here is hit or miss. Some of the workers are exceptionally pleasant and others are less so, but I guess that is par for the course at most places.

Great service. Friendly staff. Clean and it's just a good burger. Came in late and they had no problem firing up the grill for me. I appreciated it.

Went in on Friday around 4:30pm and place was moderately busy. Only one cashier and one grill guy so a little backed up. I like the layout and the way you can order things like "all the way" and smaller portions are titled "little" I do however think it's ridiculous that for 2 burgers (one little one big) 1 drink and 1 regular fry it's about $22.00 I could have went to Applebee's or OutBack for that price for lunch. And the burgers are pretty good don't get me wrong but for the price and quality this will be a "once in a blue moon" stop. One cool feature is the great music they play

No frills, very delicious burger joint. One of the best burger chain restaurants I have been to. This particular location is the one a frequent the most because the location is convenient for both work and home. Some side notes: -A hamburger/cheeseburger has 2 meat patties while the 'little' hamburger and cheeseburger have 1. You will not be disappointed with the 'little' burger unless you have been fasting for a week straight. -The regular size fries portion is plenty for 2 people because they always dump more in the brown bag. They do not restrict the quantity to the cup size. -If you order fries get the cajun fries. -They have a new-age/fancy soda machine. -Peanut allergy = STAY AWAY! There are peanuts everywhere at all locations. This place is not good for you! -Staff is always friendly and efficient. No short of military training during food preparation especially on busy Friday and Saturday nights. Overall: I love it and it is my main place for not caring about the calorie count if I am hungry.

Usually I have had a great overall experience at this chain coming from the west coast but after last nights incident on customer service I would never recommend coming to this specific location for a late night dinner to anyone. After happily taking the time to go out of my way and drive a good twenty minutes from the Lansdale area to grab a good burger with my fiancé after a hard days in the office we where turned away service roughly thirty minutes before the location was scheduled to close, in a very rudely fashion as "the grills where already cleaned for the night". Now personally I have experienced crappy customer service from the state of Pennsylvania as a whole every so often, more then usual from what I'm used to but this really set me off the edge with just how lazy a crew can be at a simple fast food chain. Now as stated before I'm not sure if its just the expectations brought forth in the area or just a string of bad luck, but I'd definitely reconsider later hour service practices. I'll try my luck with doylestown sometime this week. Bucks county rarely disappoints with service (outside of sushi bars)

Erhmgawd. I thought I had to trek into Center City to enjoy Five Guys but now I have found this location in the Plymouth Meeting area. Located in a relatively quiet shopping center, it has ample parking and the same yummy food. Would totally pay the tolls of the turnpike instead of trying to go downtown. I like this location because it is clean, perky, and the efficient. The older gentleman taking our order joked "You're number 88. If you cant remember that just remember that it's my age". He was quite jolly and that is refreshing to see in a fast food worker. I recommend the jr size bacon cheese burger with all the fixings...afterall you only live once. A small fries is enough to share for 2, and the soda machine is one of those customizable ones...you'll take longer to decide on a drink than your order! :P

I've been in here a few times now...and it's what you'd expect from a typical Five Guys. Good food and friendly service at a more-than-run-of-the-mill-fast-food but cheaper-than-a-sit-down restaurant price. Aside from that, not much to really say. This place gets packed during lunch, so beware. All in all, I don't think it's the *best* Five Guys I've been to. Today's burger tasted quite flavorless for some reason...but still not bad.

As always Five Guys brings it. Because this location is on my way home from work it will take considerable discipline to avoid eating there every day. They've got a recipe that works and that's exactly what you get. Nothing special about this location except for it's close. It's clean, efficient, and delicious. I'll be back sooner than I like to admit.

I like the fries alot, the spicy ones! The burgers I can do without. The service wasn't all that and they were pretty slow being as tho they weren't ridiculously packed as the other five guys that I've seen which is why this was my first time here because they weren't bad.

Five Guys has moved to the Burbs and has taken over. On the weekend this place is over run with Minivans and H3's(why do you still DRIVE these things people!!). Must be the smell of the burgers wafting through the mini mall but it brings the hordes in like the stampeding herd they are. I think its that everyone is trying to be " lean and healthy" and everyone once in a while 'Meg'(standard culdesac name) likes to chow down on some PURE GREASE. Me? I try to go at least 3 times a week for a quick bacon burger, but only add the seasoned fries. No need to waste money on the regular droopy dog fries if they aren't going to have any taste. Like the slogan says It's probably the best burger you are going to get under 5 bucks. Side note: regular burgers have 2 patties and jr.'s have 1.

A nice place to stop for a bite to eat in the White marsh area. I had an order of spicy fries which was out of this world. I get a kick out of the way they post the origin of the potatoes. It's almost like being in a craft beer bar: "Waiter, could I have the Ohio Dark County Spuds? I'm told the latest harvest is very good."

It's no In-n-Out but WAY better than McDonald's, BK, or Wendy. Yes it's pricier but you can at least be certain that you are eating beef and not a beef-like substance. The bacon cheeseburger is good artery-clogging comfort meal. Fries are either very good and fresh or soggy, depending on the batch. Service is usually very good and pretty efficient. The only downside is that all burgers are well-done. I tend to like mine medium-rare or medium but c'est la vie.

This place is pretty good. The fresh cut fries are yum, especially dipped in vinegar! The burgers are good too, not too dry. Place is pretty clean and well kept not like the other locations in center city, hopefully it'll stay this way.

Awesome burger and fries! But I wish they'd serve half sizes. They double everything, why not half it???

Besides for during serious road trip situations, I generally abstain from fast food. But every now and then, a craving builds up inside me and there's really no satisfying it without the help of a greasy, artery-clogging cheeseburger. Enter Five Guys. As a younger chain, they haven't done anything yet to make me despise them, the way other spots like Mickey D's have. Before visiting yesterday, I discovered an "order online" function on their website, which was nice because I like plenty of condiments and usually worry about things being accidentally left off when I order in person. When I arrived ten minutes later, I told the cashier I'd ordered ahead, and she shouted, "Thomas is here!" A response came from the kitchen, again, "Thomas is here!" They had our burger buns set up with their respective condiments, and didn't add the burger until I'd arrived. And sure enough, all our condiments were correct. They sure made me feel important. My bacon cheeseburger was a sloppy, delicious mess of a meal, incredibly unhealthy but just what I was looking for. The fries were soggy and unappetizing but I ate them anyway. I won't be back very soon, but I'll be back eventually, driven by that occasional, insatiable craving for a hot bag of grease.

Decent burgers for the price and speed. If you are getting their fries I highly reccomend the cajun fries as the regualr are lacking.

One kind of cheese? Honestly? Mediocre food with too much hype.

I feel like I'm going to get blasted for this review because all I ever hear about Five Guys is how much everyone loves it and how they can't wait to go back and OMG THE FRIES. Yes, much like their sales pitch says, it probably is the best burger you'll get for $5. One of them, for sure. But there wasn't really anything special other than a lot of options. And for everything being made fresh, it still just tasted like a better-than-the-rest fast food burger. The fries were okay, and I appreciate their commitment to quality ingredients by using whole potatoes and frying in peanut oil, but much like boardwalk fries, I seem to like them in theory, but when I actually start to eat them, they're never as crispy or satisfying as I would like. Mushy half-fried potatoes aren't worth the TONS of calories they'll put into my body... I'm not saying I'll never go back. For what it is, it's good. But I haven't eaten McDonalds or Wendy's or Burger King in a long time and while I'd definitely put Five Guys WAY above those three, it's still not good enough to make it worth sinking into fast food land for on a regular basis. Sorry, Five Guys. I wanted to love you, but I guess it just didn't work out.

Love love love the food. Please please please loose the heavy metal music. It's so unpleasant and so loud.
