Best pizza hands down in all of Roxborough! Homemade dough, amazing sauce and excellent cheese. I get the Margarita!

It may have been good if it had not arrived nearly an hour late and stone cold. Also arrived with red sauce instead of white and minus 2 of the ordered toppings. Very disappointing! Thanks also for the salad delivery to a hotel room and not including a fork!

I ordered 2 of the primavera salads earlier this week for delivery. The salmon was delicious, but the salad was missing the other ingredients. All it had was lettuce, apple, and salmon. No goat cheese, no raisins, no almonds. I've ordered from here before and it's been really good. Not sure they got a new cook or something. I'll give them one more shot, but was definitely disappointed this time.

ordered the chicken venezia lunch special a million times before in the past. some guy tells me on the phone today that it is eat in only and I cannot order it for pickup. Not only that but he could barely speak English and the phone connection sounded like he was on mars. You just lost my business permanently. Only terrible business owners don't have a working website and don't understand how to treat their customers.

Although I have had issues with the orders being correct when delivered, the food has always been great. The guy Sal is always a pleasure to talk to and has a great attitude. The eggplant florentine is outstanding along with their variety in sales and terrific pizzas. I would recommend this place, but there is a room fro improvement on assure the orders are right on delivery. I have confidence that Sal is now aware of these issues and they will be handled.

I've ordered for delivery from this place 3 times and the last 2 times I had serious issues. The first time the driver only brought half the order. I'm assuming it was the kitchens fault. The last time the driver was an hour and a half late and gave me bad attitude. He's lucky I didn't knock out the few teeth he still had left in his foul mouth. Looked like a meth junkie to me. Says a lot about a place that hires scumbags like this. Won't order from this place again.

My only choice for pizza in the Conshy area, Dimeo's offers a nice variety of other Italian specialties, including desserts. For a real treat, get the "Paisan", a square pizza but the crust is about the same thickness as a Neopolitan. What makes the "Paisan" so compelling for this paisan is the addition of more garlic and pesto sauce to the pie. Wow. Your tastebuds will thank you. Your significant other? Not so much. But remember...your dog loves you no matter what.

Best Pizza ! The traditional pie is the best in the area & the paesano is incredible ! Salads are great too. Staff is friendly & on time delivery. Decor of a traditional pizza place ....nothing fancy but they do have tv's. Great for families, take out & casual dining.

Let's be very clear about this place - it's a pizza place. There's not a single place in town, not even the delicious Pepperoncini on Elm Street, that can produce such consistently sensational pizza as Dimeo's. Their pies are sizeable, flavorful and rich with ingredients - no bald spots, rarely any bubbles. Regular ol' pepperoni is just right, but a few gutbusters await for those really bad hangovers (I recommend the Ripieno, stuffed with sauce, cheese and salty, greasy meats). The pepperoni rolls are outrageously good, and the cheese fries are excellent if the cheese is ordered on the side. This is not a place to go for your sandwiches. There are a dozen other places in town for that, don't be a damned fool. But fantastic pizza awaits you here, any day of the week.

Damn good for a pizza joint! I cant get enough f their barbecue pizza (Vesuvius I think its called). I love the food but I must say its a tad more than I'm comfortable paying for pizza. Its hard these days to pay $20 for a pizza when you can get 2 Papa Johns or Dominoes pizzas for the same price. That's why I stopped going there so much I think. Their desserts are phenomenal also. I was shocked at how good a pizzerias desserts were. Very rich and decadent. This is probably my top 5 in pizzerias. The wings aren't bad either! Bottom line; Well above standard pizzerias, but you'll very easily notice that the price reflects that.

The best pizza in the Philly burbs. Being from NJ, where, in my opinion has THE BEST Italian food on earth, I was transplanted here almost 2 years ago. Finally found this place and it is the only go-to for homemade pizza and pastas in the burbs. Big slices, big flavor. All around great.

I wanted Dimeo to be good - I really did. Unfortunately I believe that all of the positive reviews here are simply comparing Dimeo to other pizza options in the area. The reality is that there is no "good" pizza in the Conshochocken area. (Yes. I will eat Franzone's on occasion, but that stuff gets old quickly), so I guess that puts this place as still one of the best options, unfortunately, the pizza's just not that good. I actually did like the cheese & sauce they use, but the crust just kills this place from having a good pie. We also ordered a side of hot wings with the pizza. While the sauce was solid, the actual wings were terrible. At least 3 of the 10 wings in the order were shriveled with no meat. I was stunned that they would actually charge me for them. Guys behind the counter seemed friendly, with good service, so I'll give them that, but overall the pizza is just very mediocre.

Dimeo's is one of the better pizza places in Conshy. Can't figure out why there are so many bad reviews. Good, solid sauce, just the right amount of cheese and fresh toppings. Yum! I haven't really tried any other items on the menu but the pizza gets a thumbs up. Pepperoni Rolls are yummy too. Sauce is tasty and homemade.

I have to give a shout out to Dimeo's Pizza in Conshy. I tried it for the first time tonight and was impressed by Giuseppe behind the counter (possibly the owner). He sees me eyeballing pasta salad and offers to let me try it. He than asks me if i'd ever been there before (no) and then he asks me my name, gives me a good firm manshake while looking me in the eye and says 'nice to meet you'. He asks me how I heard of them, thanks me for coming by and wishes me a great weekend. Then he sends me out the door with a big free helping of that pasta salad (that i didn't ask for). That's good business so I had to return the effort with a good FB revue.

Hmm. I'm surprised by the negatives reviews for here. I think Dimeo's might be a little pricey? but their food is so effing good. They have really original pizzas, and all of the other food I've had from there was REALLY good. I don't know why I hadn't tried Dimeo's in the past, but my loss. Every time I've ordered it has been delicious! I feel like I'm never going to order from another pizza place again. I love you Dimeo's.

2 for 2. Again in the area, I showed up for lunch and this time, I tried some pizza. Having a tough time, I finally decided on a slice of buffalo chicken and a slice of pepperoni/sausage. Both slices had great flavor and the crust was cooked wonderfully. It had that nice thin, crispy crust. Side Note: When I have doughy, bad pizza, I never seem to eat the outside crust. This thin crusted pizza has the crust you will finish! Also, this buffalo chicken stands out from other buffalo chicken pizzas I've had in the past. This one wasn't all soggy and gloppy due to the excess amounts of hot sauce and blue cheese put on. This had a perfect amount of topping.

Dimeo's has the best bruschetta in town. It is such a simple recipe, but Dimeo's gets it right every time. For a take out order you get 4 huge slices of garlic bread, generously topped with tomatoes, parmesan and olive oil. DELICIOUS! The pizza and pasta choices are great too. The only thing I wished they had was a good vodka sauce. The sauce choices are limited to marinara and cream sauce. Sure they can combine the two sauces to give you a decent pink sauce, but that is no vodka sauce.

Never ate in the store but their pizza is great. We ordered their dimeo pizza twice and it was one of the best pizzas I have ever had! Would go back again.

Apparently "dimeo's" has not checked out their regional competition because they fall far short. I hate Primo hoagies & would rather pay twice what one of those hard rolled horrors is worth and eat it than have to get a whole dimeo hoagie for free. There were two slices of cappicola? WTF? For what they charge for this expensive hoagie on a "cardboard" like roll I could have driven crosstown to via veneto and eaten a properly made Italian hoagie and still had money left over for a beer at the peanut gallery. Never again is what I say.

better pizza than most places in town. plenty of comfortable places to sit and watch whatever game may be on at the time. salads are tasty and huge. staff is friendly and usually helpful.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
