We had this water named James. Handsome but charmingly-self deprecating, genuine and wholesome. I rarely get excited about a steakhouse server, but I rarely encounter folks like James. My wife and I came back the next day and we weren't luck enough to be in Jame's section, but he came over anyway and gave us a sweet high five. He would make a great dad.

Great experience great food but best of all great service .. Our waitress name was Laura so friendly so nice and probably the best waitress I ever had at a restaurant will be going bacK again and asking for her!

Holiday but no excuse for extreme slow service & failure to heed allergy problems until on dish had to be redone. It just wasn't that busy to take a fl 2.5 hr to get out!! Way to cold & no one approached us to complain about anything including the air conditioning blasting. Not a memorable time or, rather, I'll rennet not to go back.

Food was terrible. Flatiron steak was a rectangle of seared meat. The shrimp that came with it was dredged in salt. French fries were soggy and even the Bloomin Onion was shriveled. Drinks, salad, and Mac and Cheese OK. Save your money

Went there on July 9 for my birthday with my husband, sister and brother-in-law. Within nano seconds our waitress wanted to take our drink order. Didn't even get a chance to look at wine menu. Ordered an appetizer and our dinners. Out of 4 people only 1 got what they wanted! My brother-in-law's steak was partially overlooked, my steak was medium instead of rare and my husbands's portobello filet came out with a slice of mushroom and a piece of beef that did not look like the picture in the menu--you know, thick and round--instead his was half an inch and flat. Talk about bait and switch!!! We had to ask a runner to get the mgr b/c our waitress was MIA. He replaced two of our meals but did say that the portobello filet that my husband got was the correct steak! Really! However, when his new steak came out it did look like the picture. My ribeye was rare but very fatty and grisly. Actually think my intestinal problem 36 hours later had its source at Outback. I've been to Outback before, not this one, and had a great meal but this turned out to be a disappointing birthday dinner. Outback needs to change the way their cooks and servers and mgrs treat their patrons. Won't ever go back there!!!

I can't even give it one star...my husband and I haven't been back here since they began renovations almost two years ago...and I now remember why. I always order the fillet, and the quality of meat has gone down hill, along with the level of chefs. My salad had warm salad dressing on it (a cream dressing should never been warm), and when my steak came out, I was more than a little disappointed with the cut of fillet, but also by how it was prepared. Medium rare, should never have a brown center. As I began to cut into the meat, I noticed a long brown curly hair on top of my steak. I understand that this can happen, but after seeing this, I would never eat the food, or order another item based on how grossed out I was. Our server was embarrassed and made sure to comp us for the entire meal...(my husband wouldn't eat his overdone ribs after I found a hair on my food, and I didn't eat a bite..a single bite of my salad was more than enough to stop dining..and the over salted, lukewarm French onion soup my husband had, was just inedible) the server was great, but the food was horrible. We felt awful even mentioning any issues, but I won't pay for a horrible, expensive meal. Although the service was great, it's the food that would be the thing to bring us back...and that's just not the case with this establishment.

I absolutely hate this place! Everything was terrible from service all the way to the food! When we first arrived they walked us passed several empty tables to sit us right at the kitchen. We asked for a new seat and waited 20 minutes despite the almost a dozen empty tables. When we were seated the creepy hostess who was dressed like a slob looked like he just rolled out of bed pretty much threw our silverware at us. Our server seemed like she was in a bad mood and wasn't very friendly. The food took a while to come out and when it did my almost 27 dollar steak was ruined cause it was cooked well and I asked for medium rare closer to rare. My side mushrooms were served cold. I sent the torched steak back and received another one that was cooked perfect with hot mushrooms. At this time my girlfriend was already done eating and at this point i was starving but only ate half because it was getting late and we had already been there 2 hours. It took forever for the check to come. If you look at the receipt it looks like 3 of us were dining not 2 because they comped the first ruined steak and charged me for the second one. We never received an apology just a new steak. At the least outback coulda gave us a free appetizer or dessert for our next visit but they didn't. Everything about this place sucked. Every time I come here it gets worse and worse. No worries because I will never be back. Over priced under serviced and a giant disappointment. If possible I would only give half a star cause my beer was cold when it finally came.

Great dinner at outback! Had the salmon which was excellent. There was an issue with my salmon not being cooked enough; however, the bartender was fantastic. She apologized for the issue (even bough it obviously wasn't her fault) and ordered up a new entree for me. The manager came by to see what happened and promised to make it right. 5 stars for excellent service and a great dinner. Will certainly return when in the area.

Party of TWO. Sent me off with a pager saying it would be 15 minutes. After 40 minutes and seeing two larger groups that came later being seated I asked if my name had been called. Clown host spent 3 seconds pretending to study his seating map before mumbling something about it being a 15 minute wait. Didn't ask me which pager I had or my name, so how would he know what my "new" wait time would be? I spent the 40 minutes checking the reviews for this place hoping for some tips on what to order but all I saw was reports about the knuckle head staff, poor service, and mediocre food. So we left.

This review is for James the waiter at Outback. I will say the food was fine, but James, James was amazing. I was there for a weekend during a poker tournament and James became the go to man for luck, inspiration, and down right amazing mood lifting energy. he also did recommend good food. He is the Buddha of Outback. Give him more tables, make him the standard. James is Outback.

I've been to this location three times now, and I will probably return again while I'm staying down here. I've gone there twice for lunch and once for dinner. Each time has been a great experience. The endless soup and salad lunch was great. I got New England clam chowder and a Ceasar both times. The New England clam chowder is some of the best I've ever had. For dinner I had the Victoria filet, which was prepared perfectly and almost melted in my mouth. I haven't had to wait to be seated any of the times I've gone, and the staff was friendly and attentive.

I love outback's food but lately it seems like the portions are getting smaller and smaller. I had the trio appetizer "Crab and Avacado stack" yesterday and it is a very small entree, NOT LIKE THE PICTURE!. You get 4 coconut shrimp, a little stack of avacado and crab with 4 tiny chips and then a few seared ahi. Thank goodness I got the other lunch entree coconut shrimp. Unreal how small their portions have gotten. Sad, because the food is delicious.

First and last time at Outback Steakhouse. I am not one to complain but this was the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. The waitress seemed annoyed with all of us, she sat down at our table with us to take our order and told us how exhausted she was and how she was ready to go home, then never checked to see if we got our soup, most of our drinks were empty for a while and another server got us drinks. The food was not impressive my steak came out extremely overcooked and I didn't get loaded mashed potatoes. We were a party of 10 on a Monday night at 7:00 and the restaurant was not busy. 6 of the people at my table worked in restaurants so we understand stuff happens, but the service was just awful. The food was not impressive either. Go to Texas Roadhouse down the street. Better food, better prices, better service.

Cocktails are too sweet for my liking, barely had a flavor of alcohol but probably diluted, catering to local clientele tastes. The pumpernickel bread, served toasty warm and soft after you've placed your order, plus their signature appetizer "Blooming Onion" (fried onion) - which some will swear by, are the only "special" items here at this internationally located chain restaurant. Food is ok here, nothing mind bowling. Good for some Aussie theme fun and offers a variety of steaks, burgers and fish/seafood. I only eat here when it's en route to something I need around here, with the other option Texas Roadhouse with better steaks but no seafood option. Disappointment: their Wallabie Darned drink which is a peach bellini, was way too sweet and didn't even feel like a real cocktail with alcohol.

I made a reservation here at 8pm for 19 people because I know there is not going to any seating on the spot. However, it has been 30 minutes since when I made my reservation. I left the restaurant before I could even eat because everyone was starving. Ridiculous.

Ordered a ribeye medium. They couldn't get it right not 1,not 2, not 3, but 4 times they tried to cook it right!!! I didn't eat. Check was comped, but this is a steakhouse right?

As far as Outbacks go... yeeesh. I came here yesterday afternoon. It's a little hard to find due to trees being in the way. We got in and after maneuvering through some tables, met up with our party. Drinks were served and food was brought out. Everyone was polite. The issue was the food. Dinner here was very good! We both had the filet mignon with mushrooms and parmesan cheese. The filets were ordered medium rare and both were perfectly cooked. I loved the fresh mixed vegetables and the side salad. Both were great. The service was fine. We were served our food and drinks quickly. We were in and out in about 1 hour. The only complaint we had, which is very minor, is while we were eating dinner a server came to the table and asked us to hand him all the menus. Not sure why he had to get the menus right then. It would have been better if he had waited until we were done eating. We would return to this restaurant again if we are in the area.

We tried the steak and lobster special for $14.99, however we left very underwhelmed. The waiter asked us if we wanted old bay seasoning on the lobster or to fry the lobster. Two of us ordered old bay seasoning and one ordered the lobster fried. The food took 45 minutes to come out which was a long time and the waiter kept on disappearing. We asked another waiter for extra napkins and he handed us three bar napkins you put your cup on. The food finally came out as we hear other waiters stating the kitchen is a little slow today. The steak was overcooked and was tough, so members of my party ordered medium well yet all steaks came out cooked the same way. They were also very tough with fat and lacked flavor compared to a texas roadhouse steak which is tender, hand cut to remove the fat. The fries were also dried out. We finally finished dinner after two hours and the check came with an additional charge on there of $3.00. The waiter state because you ordered old bay lobster and the lobster fried. I think this is deceptive marketing because we were not told that you can get old bay seasoning for an extra $1.00 and frying was an extra $1.00. Other restaurants clearly state or the waiter or waitress tell you there is an additional charge. Old Bay seasoning for a few sprinkles is $1.00. Needless to say we all agreed we will not be going back.

I gave it 2 stars because the food is delicious. But the service I've had at this one is horrible every time. The last time I was here it was around 2 on a weekend and the restaurant is empty and we were there for 2 hours. I love the food but the service is poor.

My whole experience here was awful. Our waitress was afwul and rude. I got the blooming onion and it was burnt and disguisting. I always get that from Texas Roadhouse and was excited to have it. My husband and I both got burgers and they tasted like rubber. My cheese was literally burnt. We had a side of mashed potatoes and they were cold and had huge chunks of raw potato in it. I will never spend my money again and this restaurant. Awful food and awful workers.

We went here for an early dinner tonight. Had not been to an Outback in years. I ordered the steakhouse salad and it was so bad. sloggy iceburg lettuce, 4 small slices of fatty overcooked steak and 2, seriously 2, cherry tomatoes. The french fries with my friend's meal were soggy and cold. Over all it was not good food at all. The waiter was on spot and nice, but I will not be back any time soon.

My husband and I dined at the Outback Steakhouse in Bensalem PA and were not impressed. The food was ok and our waitress service was fine. We observed our waitress cleaning tables, wiping down chairs and sweeping the floor under her tables. At the same time we observed 5 other employees (one of them was the manager) hanging out at the reservation/hostess area chatting and doing nothing. We asked to speak to the manager and shared out observations and concerns with her. We told the manager that our waitress was being torn in many directions and no one was stepping up to help her. The manager responded that this was corporate policy and that employees that do not work for tips cannot assist employees who do......"it is a legal issue" was her response. Where is the teamwork? Is this really corporate policy? We did not even see the manager walking around the dining area checking on the patrons.

We were Very disappointed and won't be back again. The quality of the food was very poor. Two same orders came out with two different cuts of meat, the waitress said even though they were visibly different, the sirloins were the same??? The grilled shrimp were cold. My husband ordered a baked potato, the waitress brought him a baked potato and mashed and no vegetable (which was supposed to come with his meal). Coffee was cold and dessert came much after the coffee. The meal was definitely not worth the price paid.

The good thing is that this place has a separate door and service for takeout. This way I don' t have to walk across the extremely slippery floor twice. I usually get chicken on the barbie but I decided to get a burger for takeout. The burger was dry and almost burnt. I ordered the burger medium but I guess that is what happens in takeout world at Outback. I will stick to chicken on the barbie in the future.

I shouldn't have to tell you that the food at Outback is bad. That part I already knew going in, which is why I only had a couple beers. Avoids that problem entirely. This review talks about the level of service found at this Outback. Two people stood out in particular. One was a bartender, and one was a server. At one point in the evening, a few friends and myself were at the bar. By this point I had purchased a few beers for myself, and a few for some friends, so it wasn't as if I was a random drunk that just wandered in. I was a paying customer who had been at the bar for probably 45 minutes or so. One of these said friends wasn't sure what kind of drink she wanted. She wanted something "girly" but without anything containing milk. I related this information to the bartender, who looked back at us for half a second, put a drink menu in front of her, and without saying another word, turned her back and walked away. Wow. You'd think they didn't work for tips or something... Luckily, the other bartender and servers were very cool, and I had to confirm that they all split tips. I'm pretty sure that I couldn't do much about her behavior, but hopefully the good people that work there can.

Do you know that Outback supported Proposition 8? I have never been a fan of any Outback Steakhouse, except for that damn greasy Bloomin Onion with the fabulous horseradish dipping sauce! I am so done with you Outback and even though you started off well and were a pioneer in the field of chain Steakhouses, you need to go back to Australia. Your Baked Potato Soup used to be, to die for and now, it is a salt bath for the potatoes. What is up with that Victoria Cut Filet? I would hate to see what that cow looked like and it isn't even good and never has been! The Bloomin Onion is yours. You invented it, you own it and no one does it better, but is it worth the visit? You used to serve a decent sized glass of wine at a decent price. Now you take the largest fish bowl type of wine glass and serve it with a 2 ounce cylinder of wine at its side with a racked up price. Tease.

What a downhill drop. When they first opened it was such a long wait to get a table.A recent birthday celebration put the final nail in the coffin.I had noticed over the past couple of years I wasn't as happy when people would suggest OUTBACK but being a good sport I went along. This place is only good for a heartattack fat laden bloomin onion. The portions are smaller. The service lacking.Every steak was shoe leather well done and when questioned we were told that was what we requested .All four of us chimed in "oh no it's not."Only one person wanted it cooked so no blood would seep into her potatoes as we laughingly reminded our waitress..She turned and walked away with a mutter we couldn't luckily make out. It was never really made right.Birthday boy was sorry he requested Outback. and we got tired of the whole mess and left. Will not go back even with the gift card in my purse.Ever hear of regifting? Merry Christmas Polly Anna !

Good food, clean, and good service. I really don't have any complaints. I've been to a couple of Outbacks and they have all been pretty decent. I can't speak for other Outbacks but I enjoyed this one. I ordered the Victoria Filet and my girlfriend got the ribeye. Both were pretty good. I'll go back if I get another gift card!

This is a great steakhouse! They have all sorts of drinks, appetizers, and meals. My favorite appetizer is their wings. I have had tons of wings over the years at different wing places, and these wings are my favorite wings... EVER!!! Their lobster and steak are amazing! They are perfectly cooked and seasoned. The service is also amazing! This is a great steakhouse! I highly recommend going to Outback Steakhouse!

My favorite steak is NY strip. I ask for it lightly seasoned now or no seasonings because the season way to much which ruins the good taste of the steak. I never seem to be able to get my steak ordered like I like it here. I like it medium well but usually get it to well or not enough. I love their baked potatoes but the potatoes keep getting smaller and smaller. Their bread use to be so delicious but it has been stale lately. If I could get everything just right it would be great but seems to be hard to get anymore.

Service was excellent although my mothers steak was dry and burnt it was ordered as medium well beverages were fine and the cheesecake was great but Outback isn't as good as it was 10 years ago but it's still passable

So we left.

Hour wait. $9 appetizer was smaller than I expected. Bread was so dry that it just fell apart into crumbs on the table. Service was barely nonexistent. Two subpar entrees. $65 bill. For WHAT?

I tend to be seated in the bar area here and find the service to be exceptional. You pay a bit of a premium for meals but, steak is very tender and sides are fresh.
