Hey I just went to Ike's pizza and it was really great! First let's talk about the food, I would've the calzone and it was amazing I was freaking out. My date ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich which came with a huge salad and we did some bite trades which was a good idea because I got to taste how good the buffalo chicken sandwich was. Then the table next to us ordered the broasted chicken which was so huge they couldn't finish it!! So when they left I totally tried an untouched breast of chicken because that's what this place is famous for and it was phenomenal. Outdoor seating area was great. There was a nice size fence and we knocked one out of the park behind it which was a great part of the day. Lastly, the servers were so great! They let us use a cell phone charger and looked up the marinara sauce with some ranch super happily. Food was amazing price was alright and will come back sometime probably.

The pizza was acceptable, but not awesome. The chicken is actually fried, not broasted as the name of the restaurant implies. The sweet potato fries that came with the chicken were burned. As in beyond crunchy, black, charcoal. Can't believe they even served them to us.

Yahoo! The new managers (not owners) have been thrown out by the real owner who is said to be opening it back up with much more professionalism. Suck it Jason! You're an ass and deserve what you got! Maybe now customers can eat in peace, have their orders show up on time, with actual ingredients, and have their servers wash their hands after they use the restroom. Looking forward to having the old & real Ike's back!

The salad was rotten. Black moldy lettuce. No refund offered. It's a disaster in there.

I live just down the highway from here, and have seen it go through several owners. I have to say, in its current incarnation, Ike's is a really great place!! Food is good. Women's restroom has a very awkward restroom entrance, and I wouldn't recommend trying to use the disabled restroom to anyone who isn't at least in a manual wheelchair and very experienced.

We are here now... They delivered out salad and wings quickly.... And we finally asked where in the hell our pizza was.... the oblivious cashier asked the pizza cook who said unapologetically that he didn't see it on the ticket... So we are waiting. Customer service sucks. Wings seemed pre-prepared and salad was basic. Sorry we stopped here... Finally got the pizza with a $10 bill refund. Pizza was flavorless but at least it didn't cost anything.

Not sure what that smell is coming out of the bar, but whew! Nasty. It's been awhile since I was here last, but it seems to have gone downhill under the new owners. Still, it's kind of an icon on the road up the McKenzie pass and if you're drifting through on the river you can still literally park your boat and enjoy lunch.

Wonderful!!! Great place, friendly, clean, and welcoming. The Pizza is so good!! I wish they would deliver to the locals! Nice place to sit and have pizza and beer after fishing. Kids love it here we always stop after a afternoon At the hatchery. The keele steel boat pizza is outstanding. They have lots to choose from.

Had some friends out for lunch, to house on the McKenzie River in Vida, Oregon. Ordered the pizzas via phone & picked up-easy & delicious!

This is a great place under the new owner. It has changed owners a few times in the last few years but I think this one has it right. The pizza is the best in the state. Crispy yet not dry. The atmosphere is good and gets better each time I'm there. I would like more beers besides the hoppy oregon beers but its a great place to get some food up the mckenzie river finally.

This place used to be amazing and had some of the best pizza around. Went there today. The pizza was gross. It had way, way too much cheese, not enough other toppings, and was downright bland. The toppings are cheap and the cheese seems waxy. I am so incredibly disappointed because I used to love this place and was really looking forward to eating some of their yummy pizza (which no longer exists). In addition, the people who work there really need to work on their social skills. They weren't rude but they appeared to not understand much of anything. It was like being on another planet and not in a good way. They also don't come to the counter to help you, but rather, just look at you in this awkward sort of way. Honestly, the service has never been that amazing but that used to not matter because the pizza was so incredible. At this point, this place has NOTHING going for it and I mean NOTHING. I only say that the price is high because for what you get (which is gross pizza) it is way overpriced. I will not be going here again. Okay, just read other reviews and it appears that ownership has changed. Hey newer owners, get a clue. Don't reinvent the wheel that was already working amazingly well before you changed things.

I went to Ike's on 8/17/13 with a rather large group. We ordered several salads and pizzas. I ate the barbecue chicken pizza, but ordered it with no onions. Let me tell you...this is the BEST barbecue chicken pizza that I've ever had! And I've had my share of pizza. This place is about an hour from my house, and I sometimes had driven by, as it is on the way to travel destinations. I am now sorry that I haven't stopped there before. I think it was so good that I would probably drive out of my way directly to Ike's when I get a craving. It was that good. The salads were huge and very fresh. We ordered 2 salads, which fed the 6-7 people at the table. The staff members were friendly and efficient. This is a great place, a bit rustic inside, and a bit out of the way. However, I would absolutely eat here again!

Ok. Fine. I've been asked before, "Ely, what IS your favorite pizza?" I'm usually asked this when I'm chowing down on a pizza that's really really good. Well, the answer is Ike's (lakeside?) Pizza. My dad and I found this place together when we'd make the drive to my alma mater. (go ducks!) A good white pizza is so damned hard to find. My dad is a purist--peperoni and olives or smoked oyster and olives only. Is smoked oyster pizza an old Oregon thing? I swear to god I've never heard of it anywhere else. The pizzas: Pepperoni and olive pizza? My pops isn't one for superlatives, but the way he put it, if I'm remembering correctly, "yeah. It's really good. It might be the best pizza I've ever had." I ordered the Mediterranean white pizza with a pesto sauce. I declared it best freaking pizza of my life. My dad wouldn't try it. Around the 3rd time we went to Ike's I finally made him submit to trying it. Even in his old codger self he proclaimed, "ok, it's pretty damned good--erhm--for not having any meat." Dear Parker, Yes, sir, Pegasus pizza is also very good. But if you, my friend, cannot tell the difference between Papa's and Ike's, then you sir, are an idiot. Or a 5-pack-a-day chain smoker. Or one of the kids from "The People Under the Stairs." ...I don't mean to go all ad-hom on your ass but I take my superlatives very seriously. Next time I come back to Oregon I'm getting me some Mediterranean pizza.

Was a great place befor the new owner, my group ordered three pies each came out about 25 min apart, not good to sit and eat while other are without! Also quality is not the same, lacking sauce had cheep toppings. I guide on the mckenzie and Ike's was my go to stop with clients after a long day on the water, not now. I looked a fool sitting as my clients waited over an hour and a half to get three pies. Thanks Ike's I will never return or recommend to rafters. And just a ps that's your bread and butter in the summer time!

PIzza is pretty much like the pizza you get at Papa's pizza or roaring rapids. That is to say, it's not very good. If you are up that way then it might make sense to stop there. It also is apparently the place where bigfoot hunters meet once a month to discuss...idk their progress? Take that for what you will. Bottom line, Ike's pizza just is not that good. I can't understand why people on here rave. I'll take pegasus or sy's over this any day. Sidenote: they have broasted chicken and potato slices, which is actually a lot better than the pizza

I have a pizzeria in Roseburg and Ike's makes the only pizza that I like better than my own. My dad is partial to the broasted chicken. And the owner, Dave, is a terrific guy. Two thumbs up!

About 4 years ago, my boyfriend, his family and myself were making a trip from Bend to Eugene, when we passed Ike's. We decided to stop for lunch and if I remember correctly we each got a salad from the salad line, a large pepperoni pizza and some type of cheese sticks. It was delicious. We all ate until we felt like exploding and yet 20 minutes later in the car we all caught ourselves munching on the leftovers. Our conversation after deemed this place, 'the best pizza we've ever had' and we made it a goal to visit this place no matter how far it was. Everything at Ike's was perfectly prepared, and reasonably priced. It was definitely all made with love. Unfortunately, I no longer live in Central Oregon and I haven't been back. But I haven't forgotten! Somehow the name Ike's popped up in my head and here I am! I'm looking forward to the next time I drive that direction, I hope nothing's changed!

Pretty good pizza and really fine broasted chicken and potato slices. Several beers on tap. An excellent choice if you are nearby.

The folks at Ike's Lakeside Pizza make it right. Starting off with a great selection of pizza choices along with an outstanding selection of micro brews! Ninkasi is one of my favorites. All of the people are friendly and will greet you with a smile. It's located on Hwy 126 about a mile west of Vida, Oregon, which is really just a wide spot along the road! Over the years I've driven from west Eugene to get pizza (40 minutes each way), that's how good it is!

Great food, great people and a nice atmosphere. This place is worth going to whether you're in the area or not. The Mediterranean pizza is delicious. Go on bigfoot night, it's awesome! Plus the meatball sandwich is yummy. :)

Whenever we go floating we always make a stop at Ike's. They've got great homemade pizza and the best broasted chicken around. The owner is nice as can be, and chances are he may be sitting next to you at the bar. When it's hot out and you come from swimming up the McKenzie, stop for some creamy, tasty soft serve ice cream.

This place offers the best damn pizza I have ever tasted, and you gotta trust an Italian from New Jersey on this one. My friends and I ordered the fried ravioli and were very disappointed with a whole count of 4 ravs. We kinda thought we might be stiffed because of our smelly sulfur odor (we had just soaked in hot springs for hours) which doesn't speak so highly for the semi-rude service from the female employee. Overall, this is THE place for bomb ass pizza and a pint.
