Completely serviceable breakfast. Staff was fast to take our order on a sunny Tuesday morning. I had the breakfast sandwich with a side of gravy for my hashbrowns. The sausage patty was not too thick and decently seasoned with a perfectly cooked over easy egg and Tillamook cheddar, but the English muffin would have benefited from being toasted. It was a little sponge-y. The white gravy was delicious with plenty of pepper. I love dive-y places for breakfast and this fit the bill.

Disappointed with our food. I ordered the corn beef hash. It's was just very dried out stringy meant that reminded me of hair. My husband ordered the Country fried steak, it did not have a ton of flavor, it was okay, but not good for the $11. We will not be returning.

All I can say about this place is "Yuck". They'll leave your plates in front of you and grab the money and run. I don't think they season the food as it was as bland as it could be. Awful. Just awful.

We wanted to try a local breakfast place instead of going up the street to Denny's. We had the older lady waitress and she was not friendly. It took nearly an hour to get our food while people who came in after us got theirs super fast. She eventually came by and said they ran out of English muffins. That was the only time we saw her. She didn't stop by after our food arrived. She didn't offer up an apology or even a discount off the meal. Worst waitress we have had in a long time. The food was average at best. Go up the street to Denny's. better service and food.

We stopped for on our way home to Portland. Crepes were a hit with my daughter and husband. My other daughter had the pancakes. Good portion sizes. Tables and decor were outdated, but made up for with the food. Service was fair, although I wish she told us how big the pancakes were going to so that we ordered 1 less.

I actually loved this place! Everytime we come from Seaside to Portland, we're passing by Tillamook for breakfast. This place is what you would expect from a real american breakfast and pancake house. GOOD and what your mom would cook you when you were little on a saturday morning. The corned beef hash was great, their portions are well and overall, the food is like home. Service was great. Always refilled our coffee and offered such great service and suggestions. They of course serve Tillamook cheese :) This place never gets old and portions are very filling. Love this place and will not stop coming here for that American Breakfast.

My experience here is summed up in one abbreviation - WTF! This may be the worst dining experience of my life (that I recall anyway). Group of 6 arrived at 1150 to have some breakfast. Upon arrival we were told it would be 15-20 minutes for a table. No problem we will wait so we grabbed the waiting benches and a menu. At 1225 we were seated and given water as well as immediately placed our order due to having studied the menu multiple times while we waited. While ordering I downed my water, waitress is standing right next to me and sees me place the empty glass on edge of the table. Time is going by, everyone is getting more hungry. I refill my own water glass and watch our neighbors who were seated WELL before us do the same. Drink my glass and empty it again setting it on the table edge for service. Our neighboring table's father in the group gets up to ask where there food is at about 1230 ( keep in mind they ordered before we sat down - well before) and he is told it will be right out. 15 minutes go by we hear a loud bell sound followed by the words food up and they finally get their food. Small place so you can hear everything going on, every time the bell dings the patrons are aware. Finally we had been in this location now for one hour and 20 minutes when we decide to go somewhere else. The milk brought out for the kids in our party is now room temp (they were saving it for their breakfast) and we are all frustrated. We are up and going to pay for our drinks and go. Kids and grandparents go out the door and we are at register waiting. The same girl who originally greeted us comes up and asks if we need a table and we tell her no we are leaving, we want to pay for our drinks. She says umm ok hold on and goes to get our waitress who comes around the corner at that time - they talk briefly and our waitress looks at us and goes back to the kitchen. She then comes back around with arms full of plates and says in a very snotty tone "I got your order right here". I told her nope we are done, we been here near an hour and half we are leaving but we want to pay for our drinks. She went back again and a couple minutes later came back to the entrance to ring us up. She stated to us that she can't let us go without paying for everything and I told her nope, we will pay for the drinks but not the food we didn't get. She said yes we were going to pay and at that point my GF asked to speak to her manager. She disappeared for a couple minutes and while she was gone a couple ladies came up from there table and said they never got their food so they were going to pay for their coffee only. Then another waitress came up and says we had to pay for the food. My GF asked if she was the manager and she says no, the manager was busy. We told her no, we will cover drinks but not food as we didn't get it and we had been here for a hour and a half. She said she would call the police if we didn't pay the entire ticket so I told her please do, I will wait for them if that is what it takes. She then told the ladies who were in our same situation to go ahead and go, not collecting drink money from them. She then said we had to pay that our food has been ready for a bit and they couldn't put our food in ahead of other people's orders. I told her if our food was ready why was it not brought out? I heard the last bell ding for our neighbors in the dining area. If it is ready it should be served not sit there for 20 minutes or more. We will pay our drinks and nothing else, we waited long enough. She said just go but you haven't been here an hour and a half to which I told her we got here at 10 to 12 according to the clock we have. While in the street a couple of them came out and write down license plates so I went back in to wait while everyone else went to eat somewhere else. The officer arrived and we talked - he informed me of the Oregon Intent to Serve law but agreed that we never received our food so it does not apply. He went in to talk to the waitress and also call his superiors. He came back out to talk to me and says there was no breaking of the law - I was in the right. He asked me if I wanted to pay for my drinks and I said yes I do, been trying to. Once inside he asked the waitress who was "helping" us at our table to please ring up the drinks if they wanted to so I could go. The waitress had my ticket in her hand and looked at it then said "I don't even know what drinks they had" so I reminded her. She was hammering them into her register and I stated "you took our order and brought them, surprised you don't know" to which she hammered away more and angrily made change. I wished her a good day then headed out. Plain old bad business. What sort of restaurant manager does not come out and deal with issues? How can your kitchen not handle the flow of business and you stay open? This is the type of place that I think not even Robert Irvine and Restaurant Impossible can fix.

I got the marion berry crepes. They tasted burnt and had a certain grilled flavor about them. I could only eat the whipped cream and the berries. It was inedible so I also had a strawberry Belgian waffle. But then the waitress came out and told us that the Belgian waffle maker broke so they just made us a normal waffle. The waffle was very doughy and I couldn't eat it either. They made us a second waffle for free because they felt bad about the waffle maker breaking. Both the strawberries and the Marion berries tasted the same. The service was okay but next time we are in Tillamook we won't eat here.

Best breakfast I've ever had. Everything was cooked to perfection. It tasted amazing and we plan on going here everyday for breakfast.

Check your bank statements carefully if you have eaten here. They are into changing the tip amounts after you leave. Even if you have already left them far more then they deserve for poor service and food. The local Kelley's place restaurant is also owned by these people.

I agree with Sam. This was an OK breakfast. The ham was great, the hash browns were almost raw. The staff made sure we had refills, but spent most of the time on cell phones with personal conversations. Parking on the street is VERY tight, but there is a lot in the back. Bring cash. There is a 50 cent charge for credit or debit.

For a pancake house, the pancakes are marginal. They were tough and over cooked. It took too long to get our order taken, and we never got our coffee. We probably will not be back. But, if you are passing through town and need to eat, you could do worse. For a pancake house, the pancakes are marginal. They were tough and over cooked. Just thought this place was "meh". Pretty typical breakfast place. Not too terrible, but nothing special either. I ordered the eggs, bacon and pancakes. I will say the pancakes were good, eggs and bacon not so much.

This was one of the worst meals I've ever had. It's so disappointing paying for unsatisfactory food. Had to seat ourselves. Biscuits and gravy had no flavor, bacon was hard as a rock. Toast was burnt and hard. Had to flag a waitress down to pay after never being checked on. Had no organization of jobs for workers. Will never go back!

We just went to this place on our way back to town from camping..... We ordered food as soon as we sat and it took exactly 45 minutes to get our food. Food tastes really good! Fresh and delicious. Restaurant is old and dirty looking. The food was good but not worth 45 minutes at all.

My family and I just finished breakfast here. The Tillamook cheddar cheese omelet I had was very good and was cooked well. My daughters had pancakes and French toast. Both were good. If I have only one complaint is that I'm a coffee vacuum and would have liked my cup refilled more often, but they were busy. Our server was nice and treated us well. Would go back.

A total meh, I've experienced better if I ever saw one. After waking up at 4am to go clamming at Netarts, dunking ourselves in cold water in the pursuit of vicious crabs and getting rained on to boot, we were hungry! We rolled into Tilamook in pursuit of some sort of breakfast and this is the first place we saw. We popped in, and were ignored for a good solid 5 minutes. Not because it was busy, but because the staff just seems confused. Like, there's no specific person to seat people coming in? Aight. We were seated in an awkwardly sized, hard-as-heck booth. This seems like a terrible place for large groups as the booths are as-is, no moving anything. The waitress came, took our order, and was confused by a simple request of toast instead of hashbrowns. "So you want....toast? No hasbrooooooowns?!". Uhm, yes. Food comes pretty quickly. I ordered the Spanish Omelet, which was supposed to come with a side of sour cream and salsa - which were not present on my plate at all. I had to flag down our waitress who, when advised I was missing sides that came with the meal said "Oh so you want those?" Did I ever say I didn't? Overall the food was meh, though thankfully not too expensive. We never got a refill on our soda & the waitress made every effort to ignore us after we got our food. Even going as far as putting the bill on the very edge of our table while looking the other way. As an icing on the "meh" cake, they have a snotty message about credit card transactions. This is not verbatim but it basically says "We charge you 50 cents per credit card transaction because the credit card companies make us. If you don't like it, there are several ATMs in the area to get cash". Uhm, accepting credit cards and their processing fees is kind of the cost of business and the obnoxious "go to an ATM" reeks of an unprofessional attitude. No thanks.

M-E-H. Blah. This is blah-tastic in every respect of the word. Blah service, blah food and blah decor. We were barely acknowledged when we walked in - not because it was busy but just because...then we were stuffed into some extremely uncomfortable benches. Our waitress took our order, was confused in every aspect of the simple process and then we got our food. MEH. Not super tasty, not super bad just...eh. Our waitress was also grade A in ignoring us after we got our food, no checking in or drink refills. And - they charge that annoying credit card fee and have a snotty message if you feel it's not fair to charge it.

We stopped by for a bite to eat on our way out of town, huge mistake! Everything our party had (burger, chicken fried steak, denver omlette, fish and chips, clam chowder) was obviously low quality premade frozen food, heated up and served. The clam chowder was the worst I've ever had and tasted only of flour. Everything also lacked seasoning and the coffee was mediocre at best. The servers were friendly but the restaurant had awful decor and a horrible atmosphere.

I was hoping for a lot more from a place "Voted Tillamook's best breakfast". The coffee was really weak, and the food was OK at best. Even the pancakes were lackluster, they weren't big and fluffy at all but were merely passable. Denny's probably would have been better, I'll go there instead next time.

This place wasn't good or bad. Since it seemed to be the only breakfast place it sufficed.

We were looking for breakfast while driving through Tillamook and saw the sign on the building that said "voted best Breakfast in town" I was hesitant to believe this and was right. We were quickly seated and served, however the service was sub-par, the employee's all looked like they were misreable and looked like they really didn't want to be there, even when our 15 month old baby smiled and said hi to the waitress, she ignored him even though it was obvious she saw him saying hi to her. I ordered the Special which was a Denver Scramble and found it to be tiny small portions, I was totally hungry after having breakfast, I also had to flag them down several times for coffee refills and it looked like they were almost trying NOT to look at me. This place could be okay if the employee's were a little more friendly.

Food is good old middle of the road diner fare. Last visit, my wife had the strawberry crepe special breakfast, they were very tasty and the strawberry's weren't extra syrupy or too sweet. I had the biscuits and gravy, have had better and worse. Can't complain about the service, each time we have visited have been served with little delay. Quiet small town atmosphere, I will return.

My breakfast was unedible. I has lingonberry crepes. The crepes tasted like hamburger grease and were in fact greasy. It was loaded with this horrible sweet jam not a lingonberry in sight. Never, never, ever again. Our waitress was very nice tho.

Hair in my food to start with. They werent very busy and my waiter was named kelly. The service from her was at best almost ok. If i wanted more pop id have to rasie my hand. It seemed like we were being ignored. I would not ever consider eatting there again. The employess give off a fast food feel and act like ur a bother. I wont ever eat someplace that served me hair twice. Wanna eat some blond hair then come to the pancake house where they have the ppls choice for best hair in hashbrowns. Wish i could of gave 0 stars

Similar to Clarette's in Walla Walla, but a little more on the greasy-spoon end of things. They do have buckwheat pancakes, which is a huge bonus for me. I still dream about the buckwheat pancakes my mother would make me growing up, and it surprises me how few breakfast places offer them. They have a wide variety of omelettes, most with Tillamook cheddar cheese options (naturally). Coffee is typical diner/greasy-spoon quality. Service is generally good. In short: a fine small-town breakfast place (although they serve more than breakfast).

We have been to the Pancake House one other time and it was "just OK". But this morning was worse than "just OK". We had coffee and had one short refill and then never saw our waitress again. And we had emptied our water glasses too and again no refills. Do the servers think that once you take the order and deliver the food, that they are done? What do we have to do to get good service in Tillamook County?!? This was one of three restaurants that we have visited and all three had servers that were inattentive and apathetic. Servers, we are the reason you have a job...try to pay attention. I taught customer service skills to bankers for almost 30 years. Maybe I need to free lance to the restaurants in this county. Wake up!!

This is exactly the kind of food you would expect from a place called a pancake house. I got a Denver omelet with a side of pancakes. It hit the spot perfectly as a Sunday brunch after a Saturday night of adult beverage consumption!

Nothing special, the hash browns were light on the brown and nearly raw on the inside. Make sure you order them extra extra extra crispy to get them how they should be. Do they make swiss cheese in a can? That's what the swiss on the omelette tasted like. You would think that they could get a better tasting swiss with all the cheese factories in town? The water has funny taste. Over all I'm not impressed and would not go back.

Grease with a side of omelette & hashbrown anyone? This place should be open late night like a place that shares the same name in PDX- next time I go, I hope I've been to several bars first.

Had breakfast/lunch there today, depending on who you asked. I had a delicious blintz with Marionberry compote, while one of our party had a GIANT hamburger. Another had a Triple Decker Club. The fries were cooked well, and service was quick. However, the kid's meals were lame. The mac and cheese looked like it came from a box, and the pancake breakfast was plain (no smiley face) with greasy scrambled eggs, and a piece of bacon. My kids were underwhelmed.

Stopped here enroute southern Oregon coast. People filled the restaurant on a very busy main street with NO parking meters!! yaaay!! Tables were sticky along with the chairs. Food served quickly but I had asked for the eggs sunny-side UP with the edges browned and it was white. Asked also for the hash-browns to be cooked more, and it was just about raw inside as others noticed. Stack of pancakes was okay but all in all, this was an ordinary breakfast which wasn't less nor more than one could expect. The coffee was TERRIBLE!!
