Good service. The server was very friendly. Food was not that good. Had meatloaf sandwich..bland meatloaf bland gravy and mash potatos tasted like they were mixed with powdered potato..super wet and watery. Bummer cuz i love meatloaf. My son had a chicken sandwich the fries were dark but slightly underdone like the fryer oil needed a change the bun was kinda smashed up and also bland. I see there is good reviews here so well comeback for breakfast to see how that is...seems better reviews here.

Had breakfast there yesterday and it was exceptional. Great food, fantastic service and a very open atmosphere. Had an omelet and it was very good. If you have not tried Terese's Place in a while, you will be surprised. They do a fantastic job. Loved the old pictures of Springfield. I will be sure to go back often.

It's beyond obvious that their catering business is all they care about and what evidently sustains them. Being a breakfast and lunch restaurant that chooses to be closed on Saturdays and Sundays speaks volumes. It seems the first generation wants to retire and the second doesn't care about working much or catering to the market they serve. The food is substandard as is the cleanliness. Perhaps one of the restaurant rescue shows could light a spark, inspire and redirected this landmark establishment.

I lovelovelove this place, I come here for lunch and coffee all the time since its right across the street from my school. They have a great hamburger, and even though their food is pretty simple there's just something about this place that just hits a cord with me. And the manager is such a nice lady, she's great! All the staff is lovely. I love the atmosphere of this place too, I come here to just sit and sip tea with my friends to chat and it's always relaxing. Don't pass this place up! :)

The food is just okay. Sure I've only been once, and I'd love to have my foot in my mouth, but the biscuits and gravy didn't do much for me and from what I've heard around the office most of the food is just okay. The prices aren't bad, its just that the food is, well, plain. However: The waitress was very friendly and attentive and I love the layout of the restaurant, especially the giant windows that look out on Main St. allowing for the opportunity to glimpse a blast of sunshine on a cloudy February day. But: Being a 20 something in this restaurant made me feel (and look) very out of place. The only other occupied table appeared to be playing host to a bridge club (4 old hens, each 80 years plus). Terese's has some local centenarian art (paintings of cats and roses and a log cabin) you may enjoy and a book exchange with more Mary Higgins Clark than you can shake a stick at. So, I conclude: If you are into kicking it with the old folks, head to a retirement center. If you want to kick it with old folks while eating generic cafe food and wash it down with a decent cup of coffee, head to Terese's.

I always stop in every time Im in Springfeild. I haven't been in to see the new renovations yet but I hear great things. Its my go-to for a yummy affordable home cooked meal. The oven roasted turkey sandwich is delish!!

The simple decor can be misleading. But the mismatched tables, original art and smiling server immediately made me feel comfortable and at home. Their breakfast is one of the best I've had in Lane County! Eggs were fluffy, hash-browns crisp and the bacon was perfect. I've gone back for lunch... for breakfast... for lunch... I can't stop! Your mother would call it "quaint" but I would says it's almost kitsch. Don't leave without buying one of their fresh made oatmeal-raisin cookies at the front counter!

The server was super nice. That was the best part. The food (french toast and omelet) was OK, but the coffee was bitter. No plans to return. Their catering business, on the other hand, was super easy and delightful - would use again for catering.

2 stars just for cleanliness + 1 star for having real roasted turkey = 3 stars. Ridiculously stingy w ingredients and the food lacks any taste or flavor.

Love the new decor and updated feel. A great place where i like to enjoy a cup of coffee and read the paper. They use local business Equator Coffee for their brewed coffee, which I appreciate. The veggie lasagna on the lunch menu is my favorite! The tables up front against the big windows overlooking Main Street, are a great place to spend an hour people watching and hopefully catching a little sun.

Love the catering they do. Recent changes to the restaurant have made the food simply delicious. Some if the best prices in town and very flexible with the catering.
