i've been to literally 100+ Starbucks in my coffee drinking days... and this location is by far the biggest disappointment of any of my experiences. outside of the dimly light/non-welcoming store feel. we weren't warmly greeted as we came in. there was no smile at the counter - a quick intro of any daily specials or recommendations. just a "what can i get for you?" in our group we ordered 4 drinks (nothing of complexion). there was two people waiting for drinks in front of us. 5 minutes had passed and only the two people in front of us got their drinks. we continued to wait. i noticed that anybody going thru the drive thru got the high priority to get their drinks out first. another person stood by the sink, while one was making drinks and the other manning the drive thru. completely understaffed. another 5 minutes passed before our drinks started to come out. at that time i noticed nobody (employees) were smiling, nobody was talking to customers (like other starbucks locations), they didn't even hand write on the cups like they used to and asked for name's to call out either! one of the aspects that set starbucks out from other coffee shops was the personal feel, the good coffee, and speedy delivery. this store lacked in all three categories. i wonder if Mr. Schultz would approve of such short comings of such a big brand.

I like the layout of this location and the beverages are well-made, but service is iffy. This morning, for example, I used my Visa to reload $5.00 on my Starbucks card and purchase a reusable cup sleeve. After reviewing my bank account online, I found three $5.00 charges and a charge for the sleeve. Starbucks is notorious for register errors, but this is the worst in recent memory. To top off the experience, I spent 25 minutes on the phone with Starbucks trying to resolve the matter, which yielded no results.

Probably the worse Starbucks I've been to in the eugene/springfield area when it comes to coffee. My coffee literally tasted exactly like plain chocolate milk, not impressed...especially for $4.75 :\

Glad I'm not the only one who has had a bad experience, I thought all Starbucks are the same, or at least that's what I've noticed, and I've been to a lot, I don't think even writing a review about one will keep people from going, but I had the first bad cup of coffee ever here. I simply wanted a Carmel latte, then the cashier wanted to know if I wanted syrup or sauce? I told her I didn't know (no one had ever asked me) and told her to choose. Well, I guess she chose wrong? My venti latte tastes like black coffee and milk? We have all had a latte before and you know how it's supposed to taste, it was terrible. I drank it because I was a coffee addict and I had a long drive ahead, when I somehow made it too the bottom of the cup, guess what I found !? A huge glob of the Carmel sauce/syrup, what was supposed to be mixed throughout my drink . WTH? Ok idk how to make this stuff but apparently neither to they. It's like they just threw it all together no quality control, nothing. Very unprofessional. If they can't make a simply flavored latte that's a problem . I do not want to go back here

Tried and failed to find a local coffee shop near the freeway on our drive through Eugene. Ended up here at this convenient Starbucks with a drive thru. Barista complimented on our drink order. Coffee for us, juice boxes for kids. Mission accomplished.

Location and drive-thru option are why people continue to go to this store or else I'm just always unlucky. The service is always awkward at very least. My favorite time was when I asked to pay for someone else's order and got questioned about "why" I was doing it by the cashier. The answer is because I watch Oprah and I want to. That wasn't enough though, I got this oddly dirty look and asked multiple times if I was sure. I will go out of my way to avoid this location at this point. This is Oregon, we love drive-thrus, more Starbucks are popping up with them, maybe that's why they're so bitter all the time. West 11th @ Acorn Park & 7th @ Washington have drive-thrus too if you're looking for another option. Both places have service most people have come to expect from a Starbucks.

Went here twice today. Once to grab some Joe Boxes, then to get my own drink. This morning at 7 AM on the dot I had my order ready to go for pick up. I super appreciate that. Many times I have ordered things from other establishments, and they have not been ready. Back in a few hours later, I was pleasantly greeted by Cordell! She was super nice and even helped me remember my receipt (for my expense report).

Waited in drive thru for 10 min for two cars to order their coffee. Seth ordered a refill on regular coffee. "We don't do refills on coffee in drive thru anymore. I can give you $0.10 cents off your cup though." Dammit! There's no way to back up with cars behind me. There's no way to go around the two cars in front because of a curb. So, we sat & waited just to drive through a drive thru. We finally got through to park & Seth walked in to order his refill that he wanted. He mentioned what happened at the window to the counter barista. She said all the Starbucks are that way now but he should've let Seth order just this once so we weren't waiting in line for nothing. While Seth was still at the counter, the barista walked back to the barista at the window, & loud enough for Seth to hear, told him to let customers order a refill if they're not aware of the new change. He didn't look or sound very bright. He seems like the kind of person that needs direction from someone on anything & everything all the time otherwise he'd just stand there. Thanks goes to that one barista that knew how to do her job.

Great customer service!!! Was coughing and the gentlemen asked if he could get me a glass of water. He made a specialty drink for me without complaining.

When we stopped at this Starbucks on a road trip we noticed our engine was smoking. We ended up hanging out in the store while we troubleshooted our car problems. The employees were super nice and sympathetic--they gave us refills on the house and water for our car. One employee, Cordell, even went above and beyond, offering us car advice/tips and walking us through our situation. Can't recommend this store enough for their excellent service & goodwill towards people/customers.

Kind of rude workers and my drink was somehow a bit mediocre. When I asked a few questions about the drink they didn't seem to give a crap.

I have frequented this place many times. Spent several hours here browsing and sipping/eating. Very friendly service. Consistent taste with other Starbuck stores.

This Starbucks has a good location for me so I stop through often. The person running things just told me that because I asked for a higher quality of customer service often, he would not refund my money. I had just explained to another employee, a middle aged redhead, that I would be fine with a variety of options to address the substandard drink I was made. I was shocked that I was being told that I asked for drink re-makes/ refunds "too often." If I were dressed like a lawyer I seriously doubt there would have been any trouble here. A good customer service model is the customer is always right. I would much rather take my business somewhere else because of the poor quality of the drinks here, and the condescending attitude of the guy running things. He seems to think women are children. Just because I drink Starbucks coffee, doesn't mean I'm okay with drinking "any odd variety" of CRAP. Starbucks is like the McDonalds of coffee, but that doesn't mean I want shit on my hamburger. No thanks. If there's something wrong, you are going to hear about it. Why? Because you make your drinks with actual shit. The combination of different varieties of sugar diarrhea better at least taste good. I don't know who these jokers think they are. Another problem: much more attention goes to the driveway window than to the in-store customers. I feel this goes to show the classist/elitist nature of the store. People who come in on foot are apparently not "good enough," or don't have enough money to be served properly. Because I don't look the part of a rich Starbucks consumer, I'm not being treated with respect and what I consume therefore is not important. Gross. This Starbucks seems to think it's too special to serve it's customers. I come here often, and somehow that's a bad thing to them. If you don't have to come here, go somewhere else... Just don't go to the Starbucks on seventh instead, they have problems with hiring and they're horrible and anti-homeless. I've just visited this location for the last time. Other losers can waste their money here. I've been patient enough with their incompetence.

There was a very mean looking lady giving mean looks to not so mean people...I wuz skrrd. I'm guessing the whole grundge kurt cobain depression thing is dripping its way thru this part of oregon right now cus I found Seattle to be all sunshine and smiles...compared to this gloomy place. I'm gonna go ahead and give it another minus star just for being a Starbucks in an area thats not so pretentious (like LA/OC) and I should have went to a local roaster instead. WTF oregonians!

It's average Starbucks as they come. In a shopping center with awkward drive thru capability but they do the best they can with their location. Extremely busy with long lines in the morning. So if time is of the essence, then this is probably not a good choice.

Seriously the worst Starbucks in the area, they are only surviving because they get traffic from the freeway and people needing coffee for the hospital. The service is just horrible! The coffee is mediocre, not awful but not what you should get when you pay Starbucks prices!

Unfortunately, it seems only people with bad experiences, which happens at all Starbucks from time to time, leave a review. I love this location and always have a wonderful experience. The people are super nice and the coffee is great. They are super busy, so mistakes will happen. Overall I love this Starbucks.
