We had high expectations of the former Jen's Garden owners and location...and have they ever delivered!! This is unequivocally the best spot in Central Oregon for breakfast and lunch. I had the BBQ pork sandwich and my wife had the meatloaf and bacon sandwich. Both were EXCELLENT! The cute and casual atmosphere put us both at ease while the friendly helpful staff provided the service that the McCrystals are famous for. This will be a hot spot no doubt. Bravo!

We came here with the family for brunch. The host was wonderful and the service was really attentive. The food is adequate a little heavy on the salt. Particularly, the meats. Overall a really nice place to have brunch.

It's just so good. Had the "hash it out" - INCREDIBLE and the bread pudding French toast which came with the most delectable sausage and an egg - good savory sweet balance. Absolutely delicious.

What an amazing little gem of a restaurant in sisters. The food and service were both outstanding and the location is an adorable old house. You will not be disappointed here.

This placed delivered. Looking for breakfast on our way home from Bend and chose this place based on yelp reviews. Better than expected. Nice portions not too big. Great service. We will definitely be back soon.

The French Toast with an egg and sausage was delicious - as was the Cottonwood classic. The coffee is great too. Portions are medium and prices are medium as well. Staff is welcoming and very helpful. Atmosphere is comfortable and quaint. Highly recommended.

As a long-time fan of Jen's Garden, at first I was disappointed to see it was gone. But, when I realized that the owner and chef were the same and she decided to change the business transitioning from special-occasion five-course French dinners to more 'casually elegant' breakfast and lunch fare, I was thrilled. The cottage is one of the cutest and smallest restaurants in town. The focus is still on local and fresh ingredients and the menu and artwork are eclectic and cheeky. This menu is limited and the prices are on the high side, so it isn't for everyone and not a place I would bring small kids for my comfort or out of consideration for fellow diners in the small space. Both of our meals off the lunch menu, a kale and turkey salad and their spin on a chicken salad sandwich (Knife & Fork Chicken Salad Sando with an egg) with a side salad were excellent. I also ordered a cup of their soup of the day, a creamy corn chowder, and it was delicious, but the serving size was really small. I was highly amused by the cocktail menu featuring "Arnold Palmer with Golf Shoes" since it is spiked with Jim Beam and the Three Sisters Iced Tea with vodka, rum, gin and tequila. Our server was excellent on one had since she was very detailed and accommodating while working out food options and substitutions for my fellow diner that has food allergies, but there were also long waits and it wasn't the most attentive service. Cottonwood made such a great first impression overall that I am really looking forward to returning for another date with Arnold and his shoes and trying new items on the menu.

Our meal was good. I had whatever special of the day and it was very tasty. The wait staff was really helpful. The owner was buzzing around. The whole atmosphere was great.

A super cute cottage-turned breakfast/brunch cafe. Service was a little slow and you had to be a bit assertive (yes, more cream with a coffee refill). The choices for yummy breakfasts are plentiful and the breakfast burrito was huge and delicious. My husband had the apple crepes. Coffee was great.

We loved this restaurant when it was Jen's Garden. Same chef/owner but now open for breakfast and lunch only. We were disappointed in the service and the food. Blueberry scone had 3 blueberries in it. (Really!) and it was cakey instead of sconey. We ordered it to tide us over until breakfast because we were hungry. It didn't get to the table for half an hour after we finally asked if they would bring it. Another half hour until breakfast was served. Just OK scramble and French toast. The potatoes were really delicious. Had to get up from the table to hand the check to Jen to process after waiting another extended period of time for that. Might come back to give them another chance in the off-tourist season. I know they can do better!

Cute little breakfast/lunch place. Great service. Very friendly and competent. Servers were excellent with my son. Food was tasty and came quickly. Overall great dining experience. The scrambled eggs were pretty close to perfect and the salads are lovely.

Love going here for lunch it's very quaint and quiet (not good for kids) which makes it a nice ambiance. Staff is friendly and attentive! Food is amazing and big portions I only eat half or share, daily soup is always fresh, and many dont know but they offer cocktails, we try to go weekly at least. Bad thing is they dont take reservations and always have a wait list at walk in which is usually longer then told when putting your name on the list and there is no room inside to wait so have to stand outside, but if you have the time to wait, its worth it! I hope before winter they will do reservations because people wont wait outside in the cold and they will loose business. Outdoor patio is nice and they have heaters and shawls so on cool days you can still sit outside. Not good for large groups, there are few tables.

A cute little place in Sisters. Good food, we had breakfast. The scrambled eggs were ok, nothing special but we had some type of "skillet-like" breakfast with potatoes on the bottom, with pulled pork and fried eggs. It was really good.

Wow! Such nice people and the food--just amazing. I had the special which was the most light and fluffy scramble with basil, tomatoes, bacon, and feta. It came with absolutely fresh and ripe fruit, toast with fresh butter and wonderful jelly, and crispy potatoes. What little gem!

The best is that they serve breakfast ALL DAY! The portions are plenty and reasonably priced. Love the decor. I personally love the cross over from fine dining to cafe style. It still has a flair of fine dining which sets it apart from a typical cafe. Can't wait to go back.

Great find! Excellent huevos- best ever. Pulled pork sandwich was yummy too! Even the salad that came with the sandwich was superb - with roasted grapes, shaved Parmesan and homemade croutons. A must do if you're passing through sisters between 7am and 3pm

We had a fabulous meal during the soft opening of the Cottonwood Café. We decided to try one item from the lunch and one item from the breakfast menu. There were so many scrumptious sounding options it was a difficult choice. The open face ocean melt won our vote and I am so glad we decided to give it a try. The blend of flavors was absolutely delicious! The roasted grapes in the side salad were an unexpected delight. The breakfast huevos was another great choice. Can't wait to go back and try more of their delicious offerings. Thanks Jennifer for another wonderful meal!
