Bright Spot Juice & Java

Bright Spot is locally owned and is the only coffee shack you'll find in Sisters that's open 365. Deri and Brooke are most often the weekday baristas and are a great fixture for some "local flavor". Whether you need to hear a good joke for the day, get some drive-thru counseling, an update on the local gossip or service with a smile, they're your girls! My boys are always happy with the free cup of animal crackers they get when I'm stopping by for a caffeine fix. It's the small things that add up to a great Bright Spot experience! Unlike most drive thru coffee stands, they're also pretty good about taking orders from the cars next in line when they start to get backed up! They may be a block off the beaten path, but it's worth the slight detour!
This is our new favorite coffee place in town! We used to go to Sisters Coffee a couple times a week, but since we recently discovered Bright Spot, we have found our new favorite coffee place! Yummy drinks (especially the hot chocolate and "crazy frazy" drink), friendly, quick service, and it's a drive-through! No more waiting in line for an hour at the "other" place. ;-)
Best coffee shop in sisters! Great service :-)! 2-4 happy hour with $3.00 drinks.... 75 cent drip coffee if your bring your own cup! "Fortune cookie" Friday's .... It's a must stop for locals and tourists alike! Try the biscuits and gravy!

Truly an amazing place. It is beautiful and very comfortable. It is on a half acre and the yard looks like a park. Julie, the owner and innkeeper was more than awesome. I came to Sisters for the annual Folk Festival. I took the bus from Eugene to Sisters and she even picked me up at the bus stop and took me back to the bus stop when I left. . The rooms are very special with fireplaces and couches and special themes. The large living room amd dining area has a fireplace and very comfortable furniture. .She makes everything from scratch for breakfast. I am gluten intolerate and can not eat dairy and she totally accommodated my food needs. She made me gluten free scones, waffles, and special oatmeat and they were all delicious. She puts out lemonade, freshly made cookies, and popcorn for snacks. I totally felt at home. I recommend Blue Spruce Bed and Breakfast for a special get a way and gatherings too. Thank you Julie. I will return soon. Jo Schechter

We had high expectations of the former Jen's Garden owners and location...and have they ever delivered!! This is unequivocally the best spot in Central Oregon for breakfast and lunch. I had the BBQ pork sandwich and my wife had the meatloaf and bacon sandwich. Both were EXCELLENT! The cute and casual atmosphere put us both at ease while the friendly helpful staff provided the service that the McCrystals are famous for. This will be a hot spot no doubt. Bravo!
We came here with the family for brunch. The host was wonderful and the service was really attentive. The food is adequate a little heavy on the salt. Particularly, the meats. Overall a really nice place to have brunch.
It's just so good. Had the "hash it out" - INCREDIBLE and the bread pudding French toast which came with the most delectable sausage and an egg - good savory sweet balance. Absolutely delicious.

There was a recent change of ownership and my husband and I have visited twice in hopes that the standards of the former owner held. They definitely have! The new proprietor is friendly and offers attentive service. This summer (2015) we have enjoyed several outstanding lunches, paired with really nice wines. The Wine shopping is also good. There is a wide range of selection of wines along with price points at both ends of the scale. Cork Cellars is a great addition to the dining/shopping options in Sisters!!
Just went in for the first time after learning they have a light lunch menu. The owner, a nice guy named Rick, made a delicious Spicy Mustard Panini. It was so, so good. It comes in priced at $9, but it's totally worth it. If I hadn't been working, I would have paired it with a glass of red from the sweeter side. I work nearby, and you can be sure I am going back again soon and order another.
This was my first visit to Sisters. We drove all the way through town, and at the end we saw Cork Cellars. We decided to stop in for a tasting and then go look for lunch, but it turned out they also serve food. After a wonderful tasting and chat with the owner he prepared us a couple of sandwiches which were out of this world! We'll definitely go back.

I had a bay shrimp salad that was good - had heirloom(?) tomatoes in it & was medium plate size. Also had the fries which were good- could only eat half of the huge portion. My friend had the green curry shrimp & veggie bowl with basmati rice which she says just might be five stars. Nice sitting outdoors.
Finally made it to The Porch, and it's as good as everyone says. Three of us for dinner shared a wedge salad, green curry, sweet potato tacos and the cauliflower fritters. The curry was to die for, and the tacos were outstanding--the chef coaxes an amazing lot of flavor out of a sweet potato. The wedge salad was good, and I would have eaten the beer-cheese sauce that came with the fritters as a bowl of soup, though next time I wouldn't get the fritters. Wish we'd had room for the fries, but we'll definitely go back and will try them then. We finished off with the brownie sundae, which was perfect. Excellent service, good beer & wine list, and some really interesting cocktails. It would be hard to go wrong eating at The Porch. Oh, and call ahead to make reservations.
I have been to the porch several times since it opened, and I have yet to be disappointed. In fact, when I have visitors in Bend, I love to treat them to a meal at the porch. It is fantastic food and service.

Very tasty and a nice change from ice cream. Customer service was wonderful. Love the smiling employees that work in the Sisters location. We visit the shop weekly. I highly recommend this shop.
A great place to just "chill" no pun intended. It fills a much needed hole of late night/desert places in a tourist town like Sisters.
First off, I haven't found a frozen yogurt shop where I really liked the frozen yogurt. The shops are usually quiet and boring -- get your yogurt, toppings, pay, eat, get out. I travel through Sisters a lot these days and decided to stop in to the Cuppa Yo store and give frozen yogurt another chance. I was amazed by the DELICIOUS frozen yogurt and SUPERIOR customer service. The staff is ALWAYS friendly and smiling. I've even met people who used to work at Cuppa Yo and rave about how good the management is to them. The place is always clean and inevitably one of the staff is wandering around the store wiping down counters, tables, etc. to keep it sparkling AND engaging you in fun conversation. There is always upbeat music playing that helps keep the atmosphere positive. All in all this place ROCKS and I have been back time after time and am always VERY HAPPY. Keep up the great work Yomies!

As someone with food allergies, it's VERY important I feel confident that I will not be served food which I cannot tolerate. I always let the server know of my allery to dairy and usually am able to still enjoy eating out. This was not the case here, so I'll be quite leery about going back.
The food was very good. The service was even better. I had one minor complaint. The Caesar Salad had too much of an anchovies taste for my liking. Their bread was outstanding. The prices were reasonable.
Great food and service. The Reuben is one of the best anywhere and the hamburgers are made from natural beef raised on a ranch near Sisters.

Newer place in Sisters that has the best tap list in the town. Huge range of styles and even special ciders. Food menu was extensive but we went for pizza. Food quality was very high- loved our pizza. Service was great- we were the only ones in there though. Small place, only 2 people on staff usually. Would really like to see it become more popular as the owner really knows his beer and food. Great value. Sampler tray came out labeled and in fat mason jars. Fun place, do not miss.
This place is a must on your way in or through town, 5 stars and beyond! Delicious food, excellent beer selection, great atmosphere and super friendly employees!! Great atmosphere for all ages! There are great vibes and board/trivia games to play with friends or family! So happy we stopped here on our way through town!
Went here with my family last week, the food was OK, they seem to really be trying. Atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired for a breakfast place. Has a kindof a lunch diner-y vibe but you place your order at the counter and the menu is very small and limited to eggs (scrambled, on a sandwich or in a burrito, which is actually a spinach wrap). You choose your add ons. We could have used half the quantity of bacon in all 3 of our dishes. There is no mention of gluten-free on the menu, you must navigate through your order asking lots of questions, which is never fun with an unpleasant waitress.

Looking for a fresh, filling and tasty sandwich after your hike?...this is your place. It was truly difficult to make a decision on which sandwich to order. There were some that were a little more daring, mango chutney with cream cheese, and some that were more savory/special takes on classics. The bread was fresh, lots of meat and crisp vegetables. Pickles and peppers upon request. Staff seemed a little disorganized but the food came out quickly. A big bonus is the plentiful outside seating.
The food was very fresh and very tasty. Yummy! Good size portions and quick to bring your food to your table. There was a steady stream in people either ordering to eat on site or pick up their food. There is also sitting outside but unfortunately it was to hot to sit outside today. The place is small (would seat about 40 people total) but very clean. It was nicely decorated and comfortable. Staff were very friendly. There was a boy who was helping out as he was out of school and he was hustling to bring freshly prepared food out to tables and clearing the trash from the tables. He was right on top of what was going on. Great job! I am making this a stop when visiting Central Oregon. This is what you would expect from a cafe.
Bread was microwaved. What kind of shop that specializes in sandwiches, uses a microwave over a toaster? The bread was inedible. It's simple, out in Sisters no one expects you to have artisan breads made daily at your tourist pit stop, but to not use a toaster is just lazy.

Good food made fresh. Delish! Bacon Burger was awesome. Bacon was made fresh. The potato curry soup was great. And friendly even when super busy!
Reasonably priced, however ran out of the soup of the day by 5pm. We were disappointed - food was good, but not great. Had two waitstaff attend to us - one was personable, the other not. Wine at $8/ glaas a bit high. $5/ pint of beer ok.
Don't go here. We were told we needed to wait 10 minutes for lunch to begin, so we stuck around. 40 minutes later, they finally called us in to order lunch after they had already taken other orders from people who had not been waiting. When we got up to order the ladies who were taking our order were clearly disorganized, aggravated, and unfriendly because of how busy the restaurant was. They made it apparent to us that they were stressed and took it out on us with their curt remarks and rude behavior. The food could have been decent, but the service was so terrible I would highly recommend going elsewhere. I don't normally write reviews, but I felt inclined to warn people about this place specifically. Maybe you will be provided better service if the place is not busy. But if any amount of traffic comes in expect rude behavior from the staff because they cannot manage a large amount of customers without breaking down.
