O yeah! I'm a fan of this place. But why Josh...Why would you be a fan of such a lil' dinky place? Let me elaborate... My wife and I have been bar hopping in Silverton for a few years. Wait....is "bar hopping" possible in Silverton? Well....the term works, but the functionality behind it lacks...but I digress... We used to always go across the street to "Your Break Tavern", where as we didn't mind the place initially, after time, the freezing cold temps and smelling like a deep fryer when leaving has turned us off. The drinks got really weak too. Then we tried out Mac's Place. Where as the atmosphere is nicer, they have a nice deck out back with a view of the creek, and the smell is less grease...the pool table is more lob-sided than a bad boob job...service is a little "snotty-ish" too... Then we found this lil spot somehow. They have two pool tables in GREAT condition. All the cue sticks are straight, and every time we've been there, pool has been free. The regulars actually interact with visitors (such as ourselfs), which is nice... The drinks are stiff and cheap, happy hour starts at 4pm, which the drinks drop $1 in price! Great happy hour. This place has a gimmick that I really like too... When it's NOT happy hour, they will give you a small reciept. What you do is crumple it up into a tiny ball...or..."spit wad" if you will...then, you get to take a shot at a dice cup sitting behind the bar, next to the bottles. If you make a shot, bounce it in, deflect it off a bottle...it counts! The grand prize is a free drink of what you just bought. I think it's awesome! I haven't made it yet, but i've been damn close! Gimmicks are a kick in the pants... Service has always been great, on top of our drinks, kind, smiling, it's a good time. Where as I've never tried the food and cant vouch for it...that's not what I usually go to a bar for, especially this place, doesn't have much of a "food crowd" like Macs Place does. Stick to the pool, drinks, and spit wads, you'll have a good time

Great dive bar, staff, and food! Sunday $5.00 dinner! Pulled pork, beans, cole slaw, and corn bread! What!! Too good! And 4 thick bacon, 2 eggs, potatoes w/onions, and toast $7, Mmm!! Good stuff

Damn! Now it's just a lounge. Hubby and I loved their diner, so drove here after years of absence...only to find it now only a lounge/bar/lottery place. Damn! we didn't eat here, because I for one, do really care for that no window, creepy bar environment. that's so sad they could keep their diner open. SIGH.

It IS pretty divey. Wife and I went, she got afraid of the place as it was so divey. We went somewhere else, I suggest you do the same.

I can't believe that I am the first person to review this place! We heard from a local on the street that this was the place in town to go for burgers, so we stopped in for lunch on our way to Silver Falls. The atmosphere was nice and quiet, and the staff was friendly and laid back. It seems like it might just be kind of a boring diner when you first take a look, but they've got a great menu and the food was super good. I had a cobb salad, and have a pretty high standard when it comes to tomatoes. I always expect them to be kinda not so tasty when it comes to little places like this, but they were really fresh and good, like tomatoes from the garden should be, so I was impressed. My boyfriend had a really good French dip sandwich, and the fries were good, too. He also had the best strawberry lemonade ever. We were too full to try, but did see enormous cinnamon rolls the size of your head ready to be eaten. Will have to save them for next time. Oh, and if you want to play Keno, you are in luck! Just make sure you are sitting closer to the front so you can see the screens. Yay!

My wife and I went here for an early dinner at nearby Silver Falls. Nice casual bar and grill - we had a couple of steaks, and they came out nicely medium-rare. The kitchen even comped fried oysters for people at the bar, and they also were good. A lot of the people there are regulars, but we ended up in a good conversation over said oysters with one of them - nice friendly place.
