I wanted some Pho so I stopped by Pho Viet next to Bi-Mart and was impressed that they had quite a few items for Vegetarians but after asking a few questions I found out all of their vegetarian items contain beef broth, chicken broth or fish. I asked him why it said vegetarian and he got very upset with me "at least I told you it had beef broth!" He only told me after asking. I just wanted to give a heads up to any other vegetarians out there. So disappointing I was hoping I could support a local business.

The coconut noodle soup is out of this world great! So good, but you better be hungry, they don't do small here! So good, I'm so full it was hard to stop eating! My family loves this place.

If I could give this no stars I would. The service was awful! Took 15 min to take our order 30 to get out food and he never brought us our bubble teas. The food was mediocre at best. Also I don't trust the meat they served us. It looked like it'd been sitting out all day catching flies.

Popped into Pho Viet after finding the restaurant we had planned to go to was closed... Pretty glad we had to find a second option, because this place caught my eye and we ate like kings! Delicious pho! The entire menu looked amazing. Next time I'm up from Gresham I'll be back!

Rude service from the old man working here put a bad taste in my mouth right from the start, but I give star ratings strictly on quality of food. Good broth but the portion was small and there were very few veggies.

Our van carbo-loaded here prior to the start of Hood to Coast. It was just ok but service was prompt and the food seemed fresh. In addition to Vietnamese, Pho Viet also serves Japanese teriyaki. I am generally wary of places that serve multiple cuisines, but our choices and time in the area were limited. Most of my van stuck to their namesake Vietnamese except for one brave girl who tried the chicken teriyaki. My chicken and shrimp bun was decent - lots of rice noodles and meat, but could've used a few more vegetables. The three guys in my van seemed to enjoy their Super Bowl phos since the bowls were quickly slurped away so I guess I'll order one of those if I ever come back again. Surprisingly, the chicken teriyaki was also proclaimed "pretty good" so I'm assuming it was on the same level as my noodles - ok, but not great. Free wifi here, so that's always a plus.

I keep coming back, it's like I live here lol, seriously I go at least 3 or 4 days a week. Best Phó soup anywhere period. Everything else is also very good, as you can imagine I've become friend's with the chef and owner, and the secret to their Phó is that they simmer the bones and vegetables for 12 hours to make their broth, so amazing. Also the go to place in Sandy for bubble tea, so many people buy it there.

Their pho was good and so were the pot stickers and spring rolls we ordered as well. With Pho it's all about the broth, and theirs was definitely tasty. We will be back for our Pho fix.

Pho viet is a little pricey in comparison to other local restaurants. I had the chicken pad Thai which I wouldn't get here again and my friend had the general chicken which was okay, our egg rolls tasted like they were deep fried with fish. I'm not likely to come back seeing as there are multiple other options in sandy for similar food.

Finally!!!!! A Pho place in Sandy that is quick and delicious. (There aren't even any places like this in Gresham...) Admittedly this isn't the best I've ever had but overall I'd recommend this place and I eat here several times a week when I'm going through Sandy for work. The soup comes out quickly and they have all the add ins to customize your soup for desired flavor and spice. The broth is a little strong for my liking and the cuts of beef are a little overdone but I still think it's pretty good. The other items on the menu are well done and come out quick. Price is low and I've never had to wait for a seat. The staff is friendly and accommodating. On those rainy chilly days coming down from the mountain you can't beat this place.

Came back on two other occasions recently to try their pho and their seafood noodle soup which is basically a hu tieu thap cam. On one trip I ordered their superbowl (pho dac biet)which consists of rice noodles in a beef broth, slices of eye of round, tripe, tendon, meatballs, with a side of the usual goodies of bean sprouts, cilantro, jalapenos, and a lime. The broth for me doesn't stand out a whole lot and seemed to have a little too much MSG. Now bear in mind that we all have different palates so tastes can vary from one person to another and that all pho restaurants utilize this ingredient in their soup so don't let this reason steer you away. After properly adding my sauces I partook in this feast of traditional vietnamese goodness. The only things I would change about this would be to add a little more meat cause I felt the ratio to rice noodles and broth seemed a little uneven. On my last trip here I had the seafood noodle soup with egg noodles. As I mentioned before this is basically hu tieu thap cam. This is another one of my favorite traditional vietnamese noodle soups. Their focus on this particularly was to make this more of a seafood noodle soup and not adding bits of pork or slices of bbq pork along with it. The broth is much softer in fragrance in comparison to pho broth. With the sides and the fried garlic it really adds the appeal of a very comforting meal. Only thing I could think I would change is once again the amount of MSG in the soup but as I mentioned before our palates vary from one person to another so please don't let this review convince you that their food is not worthy of your time and money. Overall, they are both enjoyable and are conveniently located out here in Sandy Oregon so I don't have to make a trip back to Portland to enjoy good vietnamese food. Come down and try it and see for yourself what this place is all about. Happy Eating Everyone...

This is place is a new discovery for me and I love it. They are quick on getting the food out. I have been stuck on the vermicelli chicken bowls for $7.95. I was impressed with the fresh veg they throw on top. My son has been meeting me there for lunch because they are fast and he has been the one rotating through the menu. It has all been good. I have upload some pictures of their dishes. The only con here is a language barrier with one of the waitresses. I think she may be an owner, she is very sweet, but one day we in for lunch after going in several times and had previously ordered appetizers, She just automatically brought us what we ordered, just once before. Yes, there was a charge, I could have argued about the $4.95 salad rolls that were really good, but just made a point to say NO very clearly when we order. There is a TV on, so if you want to catch the news or a game, they have that. The menu includes bubble teas and hot teas as well. I haven't been disappointed yet.

Saw this place on the way to Mount Hood and decided to try it a week later. HERE'S MY STORY. The place seems pretty clean. It feels more take-out-y because of the large menu signs behind the register, but my girlfriend and I dined in for a pretty good experience. The table comes with your usual pho arsenal. Plastic chopsticks, forks, spoons, soup spoons, and napkins are all there at the table, along with the usual pho flavor kickers. We had egg rolls and a thai tea bubble tea. The egg rolls were pretty good, but I've found that here in Oregon, different from what I'm used to, pho restaurants don't serve egg rolls with the rice vermicelli noodles, sliced cucumber, and lettuce wrap. I miss that shit so much. They were good though. The bubble tea tasted good, but the tapioca balls were hard. I don't know the process of making these, but I think they're.... not supposed to be hard. Oh well, it didn't really bother me too much because I ordered the SUPER PHO. The Super Pho comes with all the beef stuff (tendon, rare steak, flank, beef balls, and possibly tripe, but I asked for no tripe) and a whole lot of noodles and broth. The broth was very flavorful and the beef was really good! I was impressed by the flavor. But the thing that really impressed me was the plate of vegetables. Now, I love my bean sprouts, and I'll usually throw in some basil, and also squeeze the lime, and they did not skimp on the plate of vegetables. I've been to places where they give you a little pathetic shit-plate of sad-looking bean sprouts. Not here. Dump all those happy little sprouts into your soup. I don't know the name of the guy that served us, but he was friendly and did a good job refilling our water, which is a godsend these days. Especially when you're trying to clear your sinuses with a spicy firestorm bowl of pho. These guys definitely have my business. I live in Gresham which is not far from this place, and I'll definitely be going back. :D

We split a starter of egg rolls that looked homemade and was delicious. We then had a small bowl of pho with some meatballs while the hubby ate the Super Bowl! Both had delicious, aromatic broth with a wide variety of fresh vegetables and stocked full of meat. We were also very happy to see that thy had many Asian beers on hand! You'll definitely see us here on a cold day, just because, or after a night of heavy drinking.

I've been there a number of times, and have always ordered the same thing - the basic beef pho. I'm always very satisfied. The broth is flavorful, and all the ingredients are fresh. Service is always outstanding. I'm very happy they opened here in Sandy. They will keep me warm on a lot of chilly winter nights.

Fresh veggies, delicious food. Delighted this restaurant has come to the "Hood." Have eaten there several times and always happy with the freshness and variety. I give it 5 stars for the individual prep and yummy taste, given its price range is moderate.

So glad we found this place! Considering there aren't any real Pho places in Gresham, this one is close enough that we didn't mind driving. Since we moved here in May from Hawaii, we've been craving Pho similar to what we used to have there. This place is great! The egg rolls were yummy and the Pho was even better. The service was quick and friendly. I definitely recommend this place if you're driving through Sandy or live close in Gresham!

I've had mixed experiences here. The first time was great. Good pho and excellent avocado shake. The second time was a disaster. The waiter couldn't answer any basic questions about the food, how it's prepared, what's included with each dish, etc... He didn't care the least about our dining experience. Then the food arrived. Egg rolls were decent, the chicken wings were repulsive, the sweet and sour stir fried shrimp were neither sweet&sour or stir fried. They arrived obviously soggy in a disgusting orangish sauce. How can you not stir fry your stir fry dish? The shake was ok but not listed on the typo-riddled menu and the waiter acted put out when I asked about it. I will never eat here again good shake or not. Hire staff that care and know what they're serving!

This place is terrible. We wanted to try something new and unfortunately found this place. I had the seafood noodle soup and it was disgusting. It tasted like straight water with tasteless noodles in it. I would've rather had a cup of noodle at home. I didn't know you could screw up cooking shrimp but the shrimp and the the scallops (I think that's what they were) we're rubbery and bland. They also Charged Us For Water! Are you kidding me?? They also charge for to go boxes. What a joke.

I stopped by today for some bun w/BBQ Pork. The bun rice noodles had a fridge-to microwave taste and texture, and were too gummy to stomach. The lettuce was wilted and nasty. The pork was a strange food coloring-red hue although it tasted ok. I am an avid fan of Vietnamese food, and usually lick my plate clean. I could not finish my meal at Pho Viet and this made me sad because I was really looking forward to a Pho place in East County. Skip Pho Viet and head into Portland's 82nd ave Viet corridor for better fare.

First time eating here. Looked at the reviews and thought about not going. But went anyways. GLAD we did! The super bowl was excellent as well as the service. The staff was very polite and helpful! Hope that they stay in business as we would definitely return for more excellent Pho! The spring rolls were fresh and very good as well!

Stopped in for a bowl of pho on a cold rainy day and it was perfect. Hot, beefy broth, nicely cooked noodles and tons of veggies. If it isn't spicy enough each table has a selection of sauces to amp things up including Sri Cha if the home made versions are not to your liking.

I've enjoyed the food and service at Pho Viet each and every time (several) that I've eaten here. Food quality, quantity & value are great. When I did a to-go order recently, I thought they'd given me someone else's food because there was so much! I love the Spicy Noodle Soup with Lemongrass with either chicken or tofu. Yum! Veggies are always fresh. This soup provides 2 ample meals for me: one dining in and one to take home and enjoy later. I also really like the Vermicelli Bowl w/ Spring Rolls. Their Avocado Shakes are a must-have! Delicious.
