First thing I noticed tonight: very clean! Yes, you do order from right to left, but it's fine. Gal at the counter seemed a bit overworked, she asked for help from Selena Gomez in the back, and she forgot to cut 2 of our 3 sandwiches. Value is still there. I've had issues with the staff here before chattering in Spanish and not focusing on their job, which caused me to stop going there for a while. Glad I visited tonight!

I had to post a review because this place got such bad reviews. I like to hit Subways for quick lunch sometimes. This place was very clean. I was helped right away and the help made my sandwich just right. No problems. Everything looked and tasted fresh. Even the cookies... :)

One large club one 6" tuna and three regular sodas. Made the large a meal with chips..$21.00 Worth $21.00?? Not really a $21 meal IMO. I think the value has changed since other places give more for that kind of money now. If my sister in law wasn't the DM for them it would be a two star...

Most Subway counters go left to right...this one goes right to left so that threw me off a bit. There were also employees behind the counter making their own food to take with them after work so they weren't in uniform and they were disrupting the flow of the other sandwich makers. No one really seemed happy to be there. I think next time I would rather go to 1 of the other 3 locations I know of in Salem.

This location seems to have an issue with speaking English. I stayed in the car with our 2 year old while my wife went into Subway to get some breakfast for us. When my wife got back in the car, she was VERY frustrated. I did notice it was taking a bit longer than it should to order a few things. She mentioned that the lady behind the counter was Hispanic and was very poor with her English skills. My wife had to repeat the order numerous times, as well as what condiments and what breads she wanted. When all was said and done, the lady ended up loading everything on to the sandwiches that my wife didn't want. Considering I speak spanish, ordering a few breakfast items wouldn't have been hard. But again, not everyone is able to speak spanish and it would be rather convenient to walk into a major franchise and be able to order your food in your native tongue. Subway is generally a 3 star review for me....but they lose a star at this spot due to, No Habla Ingles!

very busy and didn't seem to clean. I know your busy but you can't hide behind glass you need to clean as you go. toppings had been mixed up and I got an olive when I asked for none. Just clean as you go.

I am giving this place four stars if only for the awesome service I've received when going here. As a vegan, I love the veggie delight sub as it gives me a good excuse to fuel up on veggies. The staff (at least two from my experience) are extremely considerate of this, going so far as to ask if I would like my sandwich cut with a clean knife that hasn't touched meat. The last time I went there, the girl even went so far as to wipe the counter down as she slid my sandwich across, just to be sure. Considering that not only fast food but most restaurants here are not very considerate of veg people, I have to say that I am extremely pleased with this Subway. And I say *this* one because I've went to many others and they did nothing like this. So seriously, if you are veg and are looking for a decent sub, go here.
