It's a Sonic. Not my favorite fast food but I go here every once in awhile for their specials. I don't know why but I always find their food to be on the bland side. It's usually hot and fresh though.

Um, it's just before 11 pm and they took our order on a Saturday night so closing at 9 is wrong.

I like sonic.....most of the food is pretty good. However the new hot dog with cheesey bread is not . The hot dog itself was tasteless, the bun was not even warmed all the way. Not ordering that again. Forget the commercial on, its not at all what they are making it out to be.

On our visit to the Salem area, from Oct. 5th to the 10th, we visited this Sonic's location three times... With that being said, we must have been happy campers with the food and being that we were visiting from Hawaii, where there are no Sonic's could be the main reason we visited so often. On all three visits, service was expeditious, food made to our specific specifications and overall good cleanliness in the parking lot. With that being said, I guess we are fans and we will be definitely back to visit.

So tonight after eating somewhere else, I stopped by Sonic to get my husband a milk shake... For starters I told the girl my order and after I sat there for a second she says "hello?", I said "did you get my order" and she said "no, the last thing I heard was that you were ready to order" (because I had said it would be just a moment while I looked to see what I wanted). So I repeated my order and when I got up to the window while waiting for my order I watched... I watched a girl walking around touching everything and herself and then apparently touching someone's brownie sundae that they would shortly be consuming...not once, but 3 separate times at one point with all of her fingers while she squished it into the container with creme. Then I watched her take a cherry out with her bare hand and put it on top of the sundae then I watched her get the persons hot dog and walk out to the vehicle as I was leaving to give the customer his food. Totally grossed out... I have worked fast food and I know the rules for washing hands and I don't believe touching peoples money, yourself, all the items in the kitchen, your customers food and then everything else is one of those rules... I don't think I will be back any time soon...

Fast food is fast food. They try to spice it up a bit with new items but if they are not fresh they don't really do much more than remind you its all processed food.

It's Sonic, not gourmet and most certainly no in-n-out. But of all the ones I've been too this place is the best. Burgers are always really hot when we get them. The tots are always crunchy. I hit it up pretty frequently just for a shushee at happy hour ;) and the kids working the place are pretty darn happy to be there, it's much nicer to have a pleasant sonic car hop give you your dopey fast food burger than the grouchy folks over at jack in the box. 1star- smiley faces 1star- hot foodies 1star- fast, fast food 1star- Slusheeeeeee = 4 stars What more can you ask from a Sonic?

You know, the food was really good. The burger was grilled very nice The fries were good. Overall, it was a fun experience. Never eaten at a sonic before. Looking forward to going back to try a milkshake.

If you're into bland tater tots and fries, so-so burgers, and hyper-high fructose corn syrup laden drinks, then this is the place for you! Yes, it's a "new" chain -- but it's still fast food garbage. If you want artery clogging madness that actually can taste good, try Carl's Jr. This 2* rating is generous and only earned on behalf of the poor kids running (or skating) their coin-jingling butts off to the carports - yet they still manage to be friendly about it.

I'm glad for this location, love the happy hour drinks and different meal items.

first of all you'll be lucky and really lucky if they get your order right. tried 3 times still didn't get it right. there is truly nothing special about this place at all. the food is only fair at best. the concept is good but it's not the fulfilled. they should take a look at the Varsity Club and in Atlanta Georgia. this place is the real deal. by the way if you get to Atlanta you need to look this place up.

You know, Sonic isn't the best food in the world, but for us (particularly at this location) it has been consistent. They rarely get our order wrong, the food is always fresh, and the drinks are amazing. Best-mixed Coke products in town! None of that semi-suspicious mix where it tastes vaguely like all the other sodas in the fountain.

  • Marie D.

If it weren't for the drinks here I would never come!! They can be very slow and frequently make mistakes. The food is mediocre, ice cream is okay, drinks are the best thing on the menu.

In town for a conference and the day before some us wanted a burger. Of course I Yelped and most of the reviews for Sonic were old so I knew I was taking a risk. This place is hard to describe...You can drive through or you can drive up and park, talk to a microphone then swipe your card after you order and someone brings it to you outside. I'd say my burger was pretty dang good and my pals liked their chicken strips. Fries were great...then there were the milk shakes. One pal went into a trance over the coconut cream pie milkshake and said it was the best ever. My hot fudge milkshake had to thaw until I was done with my burger because it was thicker than hand packed ice cream at BR. My "hot fudge" froze in the meantime. But it was still good. And the most amazing thing was...there were four of us on two separate tickets and they got the whole order right the first time. Would not have expected that at any fast food these days. The parking lot was spotless, the drive up spots were nice and clean and the runner who brought our food was cute. Doesn't get much better than that for four old ladies! Oh. no roller skates but I waited for them.

This Sonic isn't too bad. The servers are friendly; however, they can be a bit slow on delivering your food. Last time my family and I came to this location, we didn't order much food, so we weren't expecting it to take about 20 minutes to receive our food at a fast food restaurant. Yet it did take that long. And when we finally got our food, it tasted as if it'd been sitting under a heat lamp for awhile. Not bad, but definitely not fresh. There were only about 3 other cars there, so it's not like they were busy.. I definitely prefer the Keizer location over this one.

  • Michael B.

Took over 30 minutes to get my food. Burger was cold. It was 10:30pm with only 3 other cars there. Disappointed to say the least. Slow as a tortoise.

This may sound silly, but I have never been to a Sonic drive-in. I went there while I was waiting for my truck to be fixed. I asked a server how do I order my food since there is no place to eat inside. She said have a seat at the tables outside and someone would come take my order. I waited 20 minutes and no one came. I left that is ridiculous. I won't ever go back to a Sonic now. I don't even want to give it a star, but I guess you have to rate it.

Having been here twice on two different trips to the area I have to say I don't get the big deal. The commercials for Sonic make it seem like the godsend of the fast food world. Does God have a return address? Their shakes are typical and don't stand out in any way. If you need a shake fix they'll do the trick but for some reason I was expecting some special sort of ice cream magic to happen in my cup... sadly this frog stays a frog when kissed. I also decided to try some chicken poppers and french fries because I needed some food before running off to help do some field burning. The fries were decent; nicely salted, super hot and pretty crispy. The chicken poppers, again, were your standard fare. I ate most of them but quite a few of them were overcooked or were mostly fried breading which is to say missing the chicken part of the chicken poppers. The service was horribly slow and there were no cars ordering before us. The whole point of fast food is that it's supposed to be fast. I'm pretty sure I could have hopped out of the vehicle, jogged across the parking lot to the Little Caesar's and gotten a pizza faster and for less. I'm sure on my next trip down this way I'll get food here out of necessity but it's definitely not the destination stop I thought it would be. Meh... I've had better.

It was horrible:(. I remember when sonic used to be amazing or maybe just in ks I was raving about it so I took my fiancé there for the first time and it was gross, burgers where soggy and sloppy and the onion rings where tasteless and over cooked and not to mention he got a meal and they didn't offer him a drink and assumed my cream slush went with his meal
