This place is going to be one of my favorite place in Salem. The spicy chicken from the lunch menu was so yummy, but the chicken teriyaki was OK the rice was too sticky. I finaly found a nice restaurant in Salem.

Great place to drop in. Great food. Great prices. Friendly Staff. A dependable place to go if your looking for a consistently good lunch.

A bit too American-Japanese for my taste, but portions are large and food is generally cheap and consistent.

Great quick place for good Japanese food. Never been disappointed and now that we moved we'd kill for it.

Went here for lunch a few weeks ago. Was very busy but my food was still ready very quickly and it was delicious. Will definitely be returning for lunch regularly.

Food tastes great. Servise is awesome and fast. Decor is nice. Never a disapointment.

It's great that there is a Love Love by Target. Try the teriyaki beef, tempura, and love love salads. The bowls are pretty good too.

The food and service here is fantastic. We had the chicken and gyoza lunch special and vegetable tempura and it was amazingly delicious. I was very impressed by the staff also. So polite and friendly! The atmosphere inside is pretty sophisticated and well designed. Don't let the mini-mall atmosphere (it's tucked between a lens crafters and target) throw you off. It's worth a visit. I can't wait to go back!!!

Well, I'm hooked! My parents randomly turned me onto this place and over the last two weeks I have eaten here at least 4 times. Super cheap lunch specials, of which I've tried the spicy chicken and Gyoza and the yakisoba chicken (along with cream cheese and "crab" wontons). While I like the spicy chicken, I would prefer whatever I'm eating to have a vegetable of some sort (and no, that cabbage "salad" does not count). I'm on the yakisoba bandwagon now, and not only is it even better cold, it's enough for two lunches. Love LOVE this place (ha ha, dork). Oh! I also had the tempura vegetables which was meticulously planned: One each of: carrot, onion, broccoli, sweet potato, mushroom, cauliflower, potato, and something unidentifiable. They were just ok :/

Hadn't been in a while. Their service has gone down hill. Not only did they get my order wrong but they also told me which one I was paying for I handed them my friends card and then tell me my cost. Which seemed low. And then they told me my friends card paid for mine. Two separate orders two separate gyoza. "Oh. Were those separate, we put them together." How?!? We had two separate orders gyoza as a side on each. A bunch of oh I'm sorry. And she's new and she took your order. The girl even read it back to me.

The chicken yakisoba (half order) was absolutely delicious and the portion of some full order yakisoba dishes I have had in Salem. Wonderful taste, and great customer service and presentation! I would definitely recommend and will be back as soon as I can for a FULL order ha! Love luvluv !

I love Love Love Teriyaki! Yummy chicken teriyaki bowl, delicious veggie tempura, good prices, quick to get food. Family friendly.

This is a great little Teriyaki place. Super nice people. The Spicy Chicken bowl rules, nice and spicy. Lots of other good eats too.

  • Allison G.

I love the chicken yakisoba. I get it every time. If I could change one thing it would be a little bit more chicken, sometimes it's lacking.

This was a great stop on our route home to L.A. area. Easy off and on the freeway with great food. We went for lunch and the prices were great and the food was great. I am so glad we stopped here. So much better than fast food. Also try the Love dressing. It is a peanut sauce. Good on the salad and the rice. The sweet chili sauce was great on the gyoza. Thanks for great quick food Love Love Teriyaki Lancaster.

Very tasty, simple meal, and easy on the wallet. I started with the gyoza, which are like fried potstickers, pretty good. I then had the udon teriyaki with beef. Quite creditable, and the owner checked after us to be sure that we were happy. And lastly, it was enough for two dinners. Recommended.

Not bad, but not spectacular. I had lunch with some friends a few days ago and ordered a chicken bowl. I felt there was far too much rice (I asked for brown rice) and not enough veggies. I'm a bit of a health fanatic and was a little terrified at how much rice was actually in the bowl. It was at least a double portion, smothered in sauce. The service was great though and this seems to continue to be a very popular restaurant.

Not impressed with this location. Service was awful and I couldn't even understand the person taking my order. My beef plate had meat that was practically ground hamburger. Overly salted flavor too. I will stick with the downtown Salem location.

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Salem! It is more of a casual lunch place where people stop in for a fresh and quick lunch. It is just as good for take out or dinner though.I always get their chicken teriyaki bowl and it is consistently very good! The chicken is high quality and their teriyaki sauce is so good! This is always on the list of places I want to go when I come home!

  • Gabriela O.

I came here once just to try it out since I've heard that the food was really good. I came with my boyfriend on a dinner date and I got the teriyaki chicken bowl and ordered to dine in but they gave us for to go plates. The food was very good though

The best food and super fast! No msg or preservatives. Been going here every Wednesday and Friday for 2 years and never a bad meal! The owner and wife are friendly and staff is great!!

I really miss going to Love Love each week when I lived in town and worked nearby. I highly recommend getting the spicy chicken. It is good. Really good.

I do not know what I would have done during my senior year of college without this place. The teriyaki chicken with gyoza is to die for and the frozen yogurt is ABSOLUTELY refreshing. I found what I loved and never ordered anything else! (Why mess with something so good!) Portions are perfect, just slightly (!) more than I could eat. I would always call ahead and they would have my order ready right when I got there. Always made my car smell mouth-watering. Awesome place for quick, tasty food. Note: This is not the place to go for a romantic date or for five-star cuisine. This is just simply really good ingredients, food, and service that makes for a very enjoyable, comfort food-like meal.

  • Mike C.

The service was terrible. The food ok. Just can't get over the rudeness of the girl taking our order and the girl serving our food. Asked her to bring over some hot sauce and it appeared she gave a smart remark to the girl at the counter. I was beyond upset but I just ate and left.

I love Love Love Teriyaki. It's delicious and they have huge portions. It's a great place for a fast eat. Although it's not the most authentic oriental food you can find in the area, it's definitely tasty. I'd recommend it to anyone but it wouldn't be my first recommendation.

this place gets packed! like coming here for the good customer service the owner lady is a nice little asian lady always friendly and you can't beat the price of love love their food is great during lunch hours and the gyoza is to die for !

Came for lunch using yelp to guide us here. We are from Seattle. Ordered chicken and gyoza and hubby ordered chicken and beef combo. Sooo good. Fresh and juicy chicken with right amount of sauce. Loved the salad with homemade sesame dressing. Gyoza were perfect. Pride of ownership shows as it is very clean and good presented nicely.

    Huge portions!

Very disappointing. I ordered the tofu yakisoba, there were only 4 pieces of broccoli in it. Plenty of onion and cabbage (the cheap fill). I ordered to go, and there was not very much teriyaki sauce on my meal at all, maybe it is better if you eat there so you can add more yourself? I also wished it had included a salad...

  • Dave M.

Probably the best value for the money for this style of cuisine. Go at lunchtime and they have specials on their plates and bowl meals. I personally get the spicy chicken with gyoza and have them make the chicken medium spicy. I love the flavor of the sauce and it doesn't burn my tongue. They have california rolls available to and are very tasty! Frozen yogurt for desert made how you want it with toppings! very delish! I would recommend this place to anyone!

It gets the job done. If you want cheap and fast cuisine this place will satisfy your needs. They are also Willamette University friendly, offering discounts to customers showing a Willamette University ID. My only wish would be that they add a little more kick to their spicy chicken but other than that there isn't much to complain about. Like I said it gets the job done.

  • Todd B.

If I could do a no stars I would. The teriyaki sauce here is very gross. I could barely get the food down, I almost threw up from it. This is the worst teriyaki chicken I have ever had, period.

  • Tara S.

I know it's cheesy, but I love love..Love Love : ) The food is very reasonably priced, and super yummy. The only downside to Love Love, and it seems to be no matter which location you go to, they are BUSY! You should either call in your order or don't go at the traditional lunch hour between noon and one. The lack of seats is another clear sign that this is a great place to eat! Try it you will NOT be disappointed!!

  • Jack I.

I consistently go to the one downtown. In almost all cases I end up with Yakisoba with spicy chicken, minus the broccoli. I am not a huge fan of broccoli and most places that use premade bags of veg can't honor this request. This is a non issue at Love Love so I assume they prep all of their own veg in-house. Food is well done, perfect amount of spice, and service has been excellent. The staff has been great and they typically remember my name and know my usual dish. Can't beat that level of service. Portion size is wonderful and fairly priced for the amount of food you end up with.

  • Sarah A.

I want to love you Love Love! I have tried them 4 times (3 different locations). The first time was great...I thought. But every time since, I just have not been impressed. Something in the teriyaki sauce tastes funny. The rice is dry. There is no seasoning or flavor on the beef yakitori. What the? I don't think I will go back unless I'm starving.

It's ok, nothing special but not horrible either

The best sweet and sour chicken I have ever eaten!!! Highly recommend this place!! I used to work really close and now I don't so anytime I have the chance to eat here I take it! The chicken is actually chicken and not processed like some other places. The prices are good considering the portions. $7.95 for a large place of chicken with rice and a small salad. The decor is also very nice with granite and nice faux wood flooring. Just go!! I promise you will love it!

  • Teri S.

I am fan of Love Love! I have kind of a limited choice in restaurants because I am gluten free. At the store downtown I can get a delicious gluten free meal for less than $10. That hardly ever happens. I usually get their spicy chicken, although I would like it a bit hotter. The employees are friendly and fast and the restaurant is always clean.

  • Bob V.

Gee, it was ok Some spicy chicken on top of shredded napa cabbage and a little rice. Nothing outstanding. I guess ok, but I am not compelled to fly back in there. We ordered California Rolls and they came to us cold and in a plastic box. Weird, and maybe they pick them up in bulk from Costco, but it was not a best effort. Just ok

You wouldn't necessarily expect a great teriyaki joint to be attached to Target, but in Salem there is. I stop by on a regular basis and they consistently serve up tasty lunches. My favorite is the chicken and gyoza lunch special which also comes with a fresh oriental salad and a side of rice. Their staff is always friendly and they do a good job keeping the place clean. Highly recommended if you're in the area looking for some good teriyaki.

Great price and great food. The spicy is not going to burn you but the flavor is just right. The lunch special with spicy chx and geoza is amazing! Staff is great and I can make it in and out fast great for my 30 min lunch break.

  • Michael R.

Good, cheap and fast (take out) service during a busy lunch rush. The spicy chicken was not spicy but ok, rice was good, gyoza forgettable but the orange chicken did kind of blow. I will give them a second shot.

Great teriyaki joint! The restaurant itself is very clean and the food is great. I went for the spicy chicken. Healthy portions for a cheap price! Will definately return!

OMG so yummy! Two adults, two kids. We had miso soup (4 bowls) 2 came to the table and they were so ginormous we had them pack the other 2 to go, shrimp tempura and chicken teriyaki (both came with rice and salad), California roll and 2 orders of avocado roll. The best teriyaki sauce ever! Tempura was perfectly cooked and not greasy. The restaurant was super clean, great service. Thanks to my fellow yelpers for the reviews! We would have never gone to this place otherwise. Out the door for $45 and enough leftovers for lunch tomorrow.

The spicy chicken is not that hot. Nor is the hot sauce that you have to specifically request. It seems a bit sugary almost like bbq sauce.

  • Nancy N.

Delicious! Large menu. No lines, though pretty popular. Large portion of food for the money. Chicken was moist, sauce was of great consistency and salt/sugary factors were proportioned perfectly. Brown rice and cabbage was delicious. Seating was comfortably spaced. Staff kept restaurant clean. Lighting was easygoing mood and dress was casual. Customer Service was sweet natured, swift and accurate. Food came fast and our party didn't feel over bothered, nore neglected by server. Im not normally in a "mood" for Teriyaki, however, this is now one of my favorite restaurants in the Salem area.

This place is the best. The other locations food as not as good in my opinion. The Center St location has a great staff plenty of seating and the spicy chicken and gyoza is my fav. $6.25 for luch and you can have them do a half order which are still good size portions.

Great place to eat. Fast service and very reasonably priced. Being a Navy vet who served in SE Asia, I know something about Asian cuisine. So if I give it a thumbs up then it's good. Wish they would put kimchi on the menu though.. Yum Yum

They should have named this place Lust Lust Teriyaki. Super yummy! The teriyaki sauce is like no other and is obviously not your typical bottled sauce.

The atmosphere was great and the employees were super friendly. The food was excellent. I will be back for sure.

PROS: Uses Japanese soy sauce so NO MSG. ( All Chinese restaurants use Chinese soy sauce are full of MSG) -clean, very clean. bathroom and dinning is clean. - quiet, and cafe style. CONS: Parking area is limited and random cause it is the target plaza. charcoal chicken- it might be risky for cancer.

Cheap good food. Not necessarily authentic, but as far as Japanese food goes its pretty decent. Service is good and seating is open. Several locations, IMO south Salem is the best.

    (5)
  • Cody W.

Perfect. I used to eat at the Keizer location every once in a while, and it was a pain to get all the way out there. Now that they've taken over the downtown teriyaki terrain by storm I've eaten there at least 2-3 times a week. As a vegetarian, I hold on tight to any location with lots of vegetarian options. Whether it be yakisoba, a salad, tofu and rice, or curry. I definitely have my options cut out for me. Thanks for existing, you are one of my favorites.

Great teriyaki! Their specialty is chicken teriyaki so I would recommend trying it out. I had the spicy chicken and it was fantastic. The only thing that kept it from a five star was how busy it was. We had to wait in a long line to order but that is always a good sign.
