We were here to listen to a friend's band play and it was a lot of fun. They serve a good drink here and their staff is friendly, attentive and quick. The owners should be happy the waitstaff represents them so well.

Can't beat the value of Taco Tuesday, other menu items are also very tasty (hummus!). They usually have seasonals on draft which sold me on my first visit. Nothing fancy about this place but that's why we love it - friendly staff and patrons too!

This is quite a nice night club with a generally local crowd. The weekends are fun and provide live entertainment, however the help could use some adjustment. Their weekend bartender 'Nick' is training challenged; a bit confused who's paying the bills, and how to treat customers with respect. Other than a not so bright bar tender, it's generally a good choice if you're near by or live in the area. The food was better than expected, and the bathroom clean and maintained. Other than one bad apple of an employee, it's a good place to spend a weekend night.

So this is close to the transit center where I drop my coworkers off sometimes. I have not eaten the food but the staff have always been polite and timely with the libations. My only complaint isn't even a complaint but a statement - this is an old building and it smells like an old building. I think it's charming, some people might not.

The food was cold, I ordered a cheeseburger and was served a bacon cheeseburger. The waitress admitted her mistake and asked if I would take it anyway, then charged me for it. After our food was brought out she barely came back to the table. We were forced To go to the bar to pay our bill then she acted irritated. I can only assume it was because I called her out on the order screw up. Won't go back

I am not the right person to review this place as I am a self-described beer snob and a vegan. It is a comfortable neighborhood tavern with a decent happy hour. Not much for a vegan to eat as the oil seems contaminated, so I won't touch the fries. Beers of mention are Max's Red and Bridgeport IPA. There are a few other local mass produced beers and a good selection of "domestics". Full bar with an emphasis on Single Malt Scotch. Comfortable Setting and a nice staff.

Very good prices on food and drinks. Food I got was fantastic. A burger/sandwich + beer cost about the same as a combo meal you get at fast food place, but it is much better. I went at night and the patrons in 50+ age range, but I would definitely go back for lunchtime for food. Food takes a while, but it was worth the wait for what I got.

Very interesting place. Your typical random hole in the wall dive bar. We ended up here after Max's closed down the street and we weren't done drinking. We only had drinks, no food. The bartenders were nice and drinks were affordable.

not a bad place to have a pint of beer. this last visit, though it looked like a Deschutes Tap House. Four or so Deschutes beers on along with Widmer, Bud, Bud Light, Coors Light, Pabst, and maybe one, two other craft. A really fine feature is their live musics: check their schedule. I've stopped in randomly and been very delighted to catch some local Blues, Rock acts. This place has been around a very long time.....60 plus years old at least, maybe more. Useto be called the towne tavern in the 60s----so some cool history to the little Tigard downtown area. they make good food out of their teeny, tiny kitchen. Burgers, Prime Rib specials and the like. I am not a frequent eater here, mostly just suds, but it's decent. Friendly bar staff and TVs with games. Video poker, pool table. There are a couple of rooms so, place seems a bit broken up.

I know it's not fancy by any stretch of the imagination, I know it's not hip or trendy by any stretch of the imagination, but I still love this little Tigard bar that has great live music and dancing a number of nights a week. The staff keep things well under control. Nick (aka The Giant) and Karen man the place most weekend nights (& Aaron on the grill) and if you go in early the place is usually pretty dang full. Bands play til 1am and if you stay that long you'll see that the crowd really thins out at about 12 so you can pretty much have the dance floor to yourselves. Also, I normally don't get in early enough to sample the full menu, but recently I've tried the regular old burger and it was tasty and reasonably priced.

This place is ok. Dead on a wednesday, lunchtime. Tucked behind the main drag in Tigard (99). I was craving a burger and found some options on Yelp close to where my day was taking me. The sign in the back parking lot warning of a slippery walk IS NOT there for fun. It's there for your health and welfare! Menu has enough options for sure, many of them quite appealing. I had a whiskey and coke. I can't say why, but it wasn't a very good drink, and the lemon slice the size of a pea. Prices are quite reasonable. There were two ladies lucnhing in the corner and one dude at the bar. The back room - which plays music at night - was empty. Looks like a cool place to see music. Back room with stupid gambling machines.. blah blah. While the bartender/server was not UNfriendly, she kinda seemed annoyed that we showed up, and especially put out when we asked for menus (she works the grill as well). The owner showed up halfway through lunch and was super friendly and approachable (Mike?). A side salad with lunch is $2 so I had a burger, fries and a salad. The fries were quite good. The salad was a decent size and perfectly serviceable. Why do people not put cukes in salads? It's just WRONG (unless there's fruit in said salad). The burger was decent (blue cheese & bacon, let, tom). Lots of pickles!!!! Not brilliant, but again srviceable. It's definitely more than enough food and cost $7.50 if I recall. two beers, two cocktails, two burgers & fries and a sald for $30 - all in all a good deal. But it's nothing too special, and I would probably try another spot before going back to this one again.

I wasn't sure about this place when a friend suggested we visit, but my fears were unfounded. The food is your basic bar staples, the service was fast and friendly, and the crowd was pretty mellow. There was even a live band to add to the ambiance. I will definitely visit this establishment again.

Great Bar! Great music and service! Nick, Aaron,Karen, Betty, and the owner are amazing! Nice pool table, video poker, Keno, lottery, and great food! Check out taco Tuesdays! This is a nice laid back atmosphere! At this bar there are no problems to worry about! Come on in and tell them Cedric sent you!

My wife and I popped in for lunch, we liked the quaint dive bar look, great bloody mary, unfortunately it stopped there, slow to non extent service. The food was beyond bad. Chicken gizzard app, burned outside raw inside, veggie burger fried to leather,d fish sandwich burned outside, raw inside, made McDonald's and Gorton seem gourmet in comparison. Only the fries were edible. By all means eat here for lunch if you want to drop some fast pounds afterward, as neither of us wished to eat again that day or most of the next.

I used to stop in here quite a bit when I lived out in Tigard, but now that I don't live out here anymore I don't get to stop in as much. DH had an appt over this way so of course we're scoping out the dive bar scene. We went here and it was a nice friendly bunch. We had a few beverages and then some spicy chicken wings-I was sure I was going to regret, but I was fine. Sometimes I get heartburn from that. I took a few shots (pictures) from the bar of the place. It was crowded when we got there, but seats at the bar soon opened up and we were able to sit and meet the regulars. Was nice to sit out and see everyone. I like the set up of this place and it's funky atmosphere. I know DH was chomping on the bit to play pool but he didn't. They had pool here and the tv had sports as usual. Overall a good experience and I'd be back. This one I do return to when I remember!

Still love this place. They are ALWAYS open till 2:30am when all the other places are not! Karen is a great attentive bartender (GO COWBOYS!) and Nick can be pretty cool ;)

First off, I went for a burger as I saw that 'and grill' part. Ambiance - The TVs were playing a football game between North South Western Louisiana State Tech and First Missisippi Baptist Jesuit U from 2003 on a Tuesday night. I didn't know where to sit or who to talk to when I walked in, so eventually I walked up to the bar and talked to 'Dude in a Backwards Ball Cap' and ordered a burger and tots. After that, I found a booth and whipped out my laptop (wifi showed up, but there was no evidence of a password anywhere) to do some work while I waited. And waited. Eventually, Dude came and said they forgot my order (the place was empty) and that my food would be right out. It did come pretty quickly, but I was annoyed at this point. Food - Meh is right. A decent sized dry burger with no sauce/mayo made for a boring experience. The tots were tots, but maybe show up with some ranch? I could have asked, but like I said, I was annoyed. Overall, food seems like an afterthought. Maybe the beer and bands are great, but there are better places to find a burger.

Best White Russian I've ever had! You get some weirdos late at night because of the transit center nearby, but if you ignore the people it's a great place. Haven't tried the food, but their drinks are great! Lots of interesting reads on the wall; things about the owner being an official whiskey taste-tester, things about the 80-something year old female bartender that doesn't look a day over 53, things about Ireland, etc. Nice pool-tables, too. If I ever get a chance I'll have to go check out the live music!

Nahhhh. Neighborhood bar, walking distance, ok bar food, reasonable drinks. The bartenders are mostly OK, but the owners have a bad attitude. I've been a few times, the last time I was brought a drink I did not order. The owner insisted I did, so I drank it and paid for it, rather than make a scene. Now I will never go back. So they lost a customer because of three bucks. I'm. Pleased to report this. Bad customer service never works.

A decent neighborhood pub. Just found the cut HH by half an hour. However, good drinks and more micros than most similar places. The food is standard bar fair with burgers fries and some good gizzards. Also the bloody mary's made by Betty are quite good. Live music friday & Saturday and open mic On Wednesday.

Great bartender, excellent drink suggestion, stiffest Spanish coffee my girlfriend's ever had. They were gearing up for a band but beforehand had the football game projected on a big screen. I'd definitely go back the next time I'm heading over to Tigard Cinema to see a movie.

This is what a good neighborhood bar should be. Friendly crowd of all ages. Good service (Betty rocks !). Nothing too fancy, but a good selction ranging from PBR to microbrew. Reasonable prices. And stumbling distance from the train station ! I stopped in one afternoon to have happy hour with some friends who live in the area. I have the feeling they will be back :-)
