Was the first costumer there last Saturday, so lucky me I got a pig in a blanket right out of the oven! the lady at the counter (owner I presume) was very kind and patient with me. Great service, great donuts.

This is a single owner, small donut shop, easy to miss or pass by as it is in a small strip of stores. I hesitate to tell you about it because you might beat me there and buy out what I want. You see everything is made fresh that morning and when it is all gone none will be made that day. It is the way it is so everything is fresh that morn. I went there first time this morning after having moved here and I got the last two apple fritters which are only sold two to a customer. Yep it is true, the apple fritters are rationed out limit two to a customer. No going out he door and coming back in to buy two more cuz I asked. LOL Anyway, the owner is a delight, very friendly and personable. I could not ask for more. Great little local business. I will return time and time again. ps: he fills the jelly filled when you order so that is so fresh and good.

This place is, hands down, the BEST donut shop in the entire Portland area. Better than Voodoo, better than Blue Star, better than Sesame (WAY better), better than any of them I've tried -- and I've tried a bunch of them, believe me. The donuts are light, but not greasy. The glaze is perfect - not too sweet. The cream filled and fruit filled aren't actually filled until you order them, so they aren't soggy. My favorites are the cream-filled, chocolate-topped eclairs and the blueberry glazed. Oh so good. Word to the wise - get there early, they sell out fast!

Great donuts, freshly made daily in-house. Prices are great. Had an Apple fritter, raised glazed twist, cinnamon cake donut. All were amazing!! Owner and wife very friendly and honestly one of the cleanest places I have ever seen. Coffee is good too

I got here at about 10am and they were already sold out of most of the donuts, so I just got a cinnamon roll. It had the perfect amount of sweetness and a nice texture. I'd go back to try the other donuts. It's hard to judge based on one donut, so I'm giving them four stars.

+Price, affordable +Selection +Taste +Value Though I had just the standard donuts (Boston, Glazed, mini's -- great value for the price!), it was easy to get in and out of. Lots of fresh selection and the coffee on the side wasn't too bad. Is it my fave? N

Best donuts in the area. Great service, fresh donuts (never stale), nice people, and the cleanest kitchen I've ever seen at a donut shop (including Krispy Kreme). Two thumbs way up!

You won't find any bacon or fruit loops on these donuts. You also won't pay $5 for organic free-range sustainably-harvested donuts. No, these are just standard, delicious donuts - sweet but not pure sugar. They have all the standard donuts, plus a few extras like apple fritters big enough that you probably shouldn't eat them in one sitting. Fruit- or cream-filled donuts are filled when you order, so they aren't soggy. They open at 5am, and by 7ish are reliably sold out of eclairs and a few other things, but have plenty of treats left.

I have an addiction called sweet toothism. I'm sure some you know what that is, you get hooked as soon as your taste buds react. I would tell diabetics that they need to try these donuts before they go into a coma, they are that good! I've had a dozen different donuts, ALL of them were good. Not overly sweet like some donut places, not overly airy like that other donut place. Sure everyone has their cup of tea, but until you discover the next best thing which in my opinion is Tigard Donut you won't be satisfied. I also like that they carry local coffee and honey, both of which I've tried. The honey which came from Dundee was also the best I've ever had. I hope this place stays small, but big enough they stay in business because ego has taken it's toll on the donut shops in the metro area and there's none of that here. Also, probably the cleanest kitchen I've ever seen.

Hands down the best donuts in town. The fitters are a must. Friendly service with a smile everytime. They even know my name when I call for my weekly orders.

This place is easy to miss. It's in the little shopping plaza next to Walgreens on 99, and across the street from Goodwill. This was my first experience here. My wife had a hankering for donuts and sent me out while she made coffee. As I pulled up to the storefront, I studied the window and was pleased by the "0g trans fats" boasting written across it. Nice. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by an aroma sure to make Homer Simpson drool. It was very bright and very clean and inviting. I've been in some sketchy donut shops, so this was pleasant. I had noticed their hours are 5am to 1pm and assumed that my 10am arrival would not afford me the best selection. I was right. Fortunately, my wife likes boring donuts, so I could still come home a hero. I'm a sucker for Boston Cream donuts (real heavy and pregnant with that delicious cream filling), but didn't see any, and they were sold out of their "cream-filled." They have your usual suspects--twisty donuts, cinnamon sticks, sprinkles, chocolate glazed, etc. Nothing too fancy. Just good, simple donuts. Came home with chocolate frosted, plain, and glazed. All were very good. They are not too dense, nor too airy and puffy, but have a great texture. I also like that they are not huge. They are also very affordable. I'll certainly be back, but will be sure to arrive earlier next time.

If I could give them 10 stars I would! I don't know what happened but I was under the impression that I had already posted a review about Tigard Donut. In my opinion they have the best donuts anywhere in Portland, head and tails above the rest. Yeah that's right I said it, better than Voodoo, DonutLand, Sesame, and all the others. What makes them great is everything, Its a small locally run and owned business, businesses like this deserve more support from the local communities. Peter and Ellia the owners are one of the nicest couples I've ever met, they are professional, keep their shop very very clean, and produce donuts that can hang with anyone around! I've been stopping here a couple times a week for a couple years now, its almost an addiction! I don't even have to say what I want because I almost always get the same thing, I think their maple bars are to die for. They have the perfect amount of maple on them, they are always fresh and a lot of the time still warm. Actually this morning Ellia convinced me to try a cinnamon that was JUST finished and still very warm, it was unreal. I've never had a donut from them that I didn't like, and even tried some here and there that surprise me how good they are, the blueberry cake was especially delicious, their raspberry icing, their homemade chocolate, their glaze, its allllll good! Peter, Ellia - I apologize in advance for this because I felt like a traitor but last Friday I had an appointment down off of Hall and it was around 10:30 a.m. when I got done. In fear that Tigard Donut would be out of my beloved maple bars I decided to stop and give Sesame Donuts on 99w & Hall in Tigard a try (and I was surprised to see how many good reviews they have), but let me tell you all Sesame doesn't hold a candle to TD. (1) they are more expensive and all of their donuts are the same price, (2) their donuts just arent as good! (3) It looked like they needed to change their oil, the fry on the donut was pretty dark although it didnt taste overcooked -- All of Tigard Donuts' are beautiful, it looks like Peter changes the oil very regularly and I can tell just by looking that he keeps the shop immaculate. They are truly a class act here at Tigard Donut and if you haven't been there are missing out. ;-)

Love, love, love!!! They make everything from scratch so you don't have to even think about things like high fructose corn syrup. Also, their prices are great! However, I think the best part is watching the owners talk to all the customers, remembering what they like & what's going on in their lives. If you're looking for a great donut & a place where "everybody knows your name".... look no further! (But get there early cuz the best donuts go fast!) Our family favorites: Apple fritters(order ahead if you need more than 2 cuz there IS a limit on these scrumptuous treats), maple bars, donuts holes, & blueberries. Although, I can't say there have been any we didn't like ;-)

These fresh home made donuts are the best in Portland. Very inexpensive and the nicest family that runs the store. Apple fritter is amazing. Very open and clean kitchen that you can see them being made. This is the classic mom and pop shop that we all love and are very lucky to have in Tigard.

Tigard donuts are some of the best donuts around. Simple, tasty and made right there in the shop ( unlike many other donut places.) Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!
