This place rocks my shit up and down! Hooooowheeee Damn, that meat they serve is top tier, really good stuff. Good drinks and awesome djs on the weekends, its pretty small but big with love and quality. I can't wait to go again for brunch and late night cocktails, scratch that, I'm just never leaving this place!

The Bar up the Street. This place is sooo sweet, small, authentic, and real. Service is casual and fun, taking time to explain in detail what you're having and where it came from. They act like they have a stake in it. This place would be constantly packed if it was 30 blocks west.

Love this bar. Service is fantastic. The bartender is the sweetest. The outside tables are THE BEST on a sunny day. This is a gem of a neighborhood bar.

Excellent chicken fried steak with a beautiful fresh salad. The menus is limited but what we had was very good. The bacon with my waffle was some of the best bacon I have eaten. It was smoky and not overly fatty. My husband rated the chicken fried steak in the top 5 (that's his thing, he loves that dish). Give it a try!

Charming, excellent staff and good food. It's a bit of a gem and has a really nice ambience. The menu is cool and I love hope open the bar is so you can watch the chefs in the kitchen. Well worth a visit!

This is kind of your typical hipster cool portland spot, and deep down I love places like that. Enter The Tannery- you will be greeted by a cozy kitchen and seating area that might remind you of an old log cabin thats been turned into a small saloon... except in France. There is usually always a DJ spinning records and the fusion of modern vs old in the place will surely captivate you. Cocktails are spectacular, as is the food. The lady bar tender has to be one of the nicest people I've ever com across in PDX. Do I have complaints? No I don't. Great spot for a fun date or an after work spot with a friend.

Consistently good steak frites. Low drama spot. I never make a reservation and always do fine.

I almost don't want to write a review and let the secret leak about how good the brunch is! I had the corpse revivor and ordered the best monte Cristo and it was amazing probably the best in PDX. Small kitchen small portions and close attention. Friendly staff and tasty cocktails

Second time here for weekend breakfast. The classic is really good- great sausage, which is not easy to find. Recommend waffle as well.

Very cool little place, friendly people and great service in a relaxing environment. The prices are also very good and affordable. Like to come here quite often for a social drink

An excellent place for mixed drinks, and the grilled cabbage I ordered from their menu was excellent. Since I was alone I took a seat at the bar and found the bartender to be attentive and pleasant. The food was prepped by the chef as I watched. Four stars only because their menu is not terribly vegetarian friendly, which I expect (not every restaurant caters to a specialized diet), but still find heartbreaking. I would like to sample more of their food and have something substantial to eat while I'm drinking. I plan to return soon to see if their menu changes seasonally.

This place has really matured in both their cocktail craftsmanship and the menu. I always admire a well-crafted cocktail and prefer to go off-menu, letting the bartender try something different. I do realize that may make me a most-hated customer but the best bartenders seem to enjoy the challenge. And I got schooled at the Tannery - winding up learning a few new things with the end-result of adding a really good vermouth I'd never tried before to my bar-stock. The menu is interesting and good to see some experimental flavor combinations. They seem to go the extra mile with quality ingredients and well considered flavors. I like the place a lot. They have a DJ station, mixing board and a pretty intense record collection as a permanent installation. I'm guessing the owner really loves vinyl since it takes up space they could use for more tables. With such limited space, I admire the dedication, though I've yet to see anyone doing any mixing. They should advertise the hours for that.

At initial glance, It has the dreaded look of the most pompous, closet-sized hipster bar ever - but it turned out to be wonderful. Very small, intimate and friendly. Yep, it's super spendy. But those cocktails are amazing and one will do you just fine. The prices mean I'll keep this place as a special treat or for when I have a reason to celebrate. I didn't eat here, just stopped in for a quick drink about an hour before they closed. It was great to sit at the small bar and watch everything being prepared.

I went here on a whim and found it pretty neat. I will be coming back next time that I am in the area. I mean the copper cups alone is worth the trip. I almost went and bought myself some, but I couldnt find any un-graved like the ones here. Their bottled ginger-beer is a decent quality for sure. none of that "from concentrate" crap here. I wish it were one of our local brands, but it's a good one all the same. I really liked the look of the whole prosciutto they were serving from and I hope to come back and eat some of it. I guess the whole place looked quite nice and I wish that I could go back. I feel odd rating a place on a single instance where I had nothing but a single drink.

This was my first time here and first impressions are important, especially in Portland. I would have totally given The Tannery 5 stars, but there were a few things that stood out for me to take a star away. The hostess didn't have the mostest, she was borderline rude and didn't make us feel welcome from the get go. I'm also not sure why this place is an order at the counter situation, it's a super tiny place and it causes a bottleneck at the door. Plus, if you want something else, you have to get up and order it. Defeats the idea of going out to being waited on... The most annoying thing for me was that they have the TINIEST MENU I HAVE EVER SEEN. I had to borrow a magnifying glass (yes they had one) to even read the thing, and I don't wear glasses regularly...way to make me feel old! The drinks were quite pricey, too. Portland, when did we get NYC drink prices, damn?! We had burgers, corn dogs and the cauliflower, which were all delicious. The burger was my favorite and the fries were delicious as well. The kitchen staff made up for our lack of hostess help, they delivered our food, checked in with us and bussed our table. Tips for them :) I will go back for the burger for sure...

It's a cozy little place. The food is excelent, the cocktails seem impressive, and the service is quick at the bar. You do have to order from the bar, but it's a small enough place that it's not all that troublesome. It's an enjoyable little spot.

Brunch. Impressed. I have to admit it I wasn't headed here at first, I was headed down the street to have the usual pint and a solid brunch from the pub down the street. Unfortunately it was too crowded. So I stopped by the Tannery, which I didn't remember them being open for brunch before. My first time to the place, it seemed a bit pricey at first, but that was redeemed beyond my expectations. Sat outside in the shade of a warm early Saturday afternoon. Fresh hopped beer from Fort George and a grapefruit mimosa. The menu is pretty much 50% waffles for brunch, so be forewarned, but the way the waffles are used make it less about a huge waffle and more about the entire breakfast...balancing. I ordered the country fried steak, it came with two eggs, a seasonal salad, and some home fries. A great meal. I could go on and on about how great it was, but really quick...... Awesome gravy seasoned a bit warm, but not spicy. Fried eggs were perfect and the county fried steak....wow. Just go. You won't be disappointed*.... Great service. * Satisfaction not guaranteed. You may run out of coffee that morning before you leave the house and run over a pothole where you lose your front wheel. You mother will then call you and say you aren't her child and something strange about lizard men from outer space. That would totally start your day off badly and it might impact your satisfaction.

This place is tiny. And really good things come from the kitchen and bar. My favorite is the steak frites that comes with a little salad. It's about $16 and the best accompaniment to the cocktails. Speaking of the cocktails -my husband has been on a multi-month quest to make the perfect Vieux Carre after having such good ones here. We like these guys. I only wish I could bring my kids here (stupid OLCC).

This is my favorite neighborhood bar. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, the staff is very friendly in a genuine way, the food is always delicious and the drinks are the best I've had in Portland. The price is pretty on point for the quality of what they serve (which is more then I can say for some of the neighboring bars) and coming here is always a treat. I'm usually a beer drinker but they have a pretty limited draft selection and the cocktails are always to good to pass up anyway. For the drinker on a budget they always have a shot and a beer for $5 and a varying daily special which is usually a pretty good deal.

The yeasted waffles are superb! Great portion sizes, and both the grapefruit and orange mimosas were perfect! Prices are a little steep, but that's never stopped me from eating and drinking in a top notch atmosphere, with great food and bevies.

A magical "hole in the wall". Seemingly witchcraft, the way they conjure up the crafty Manhattans, using their own house cured cherries and Elijah Craig bourbon! The hanger steak was perfectly medium rare, the fries were hot & crispy. My friends had the chicken salad on sizzling crispy polenta that transfixed them. The wizardry in this small establishment is bodacious! Warm and friendly service belie the confident and proficient hands of Aces.

A neat little space in the North Tabor 'hood that stands out among other nearby spots. They take the namesake of the bar seriously too. You will find random taxidermy strewn about the place in a manner that is not overdone. Unless of course, you are vegan, which I assume for you, any amount is too much. No disrespect to my vegan brethren & sistren out there, though. Anyone from the area may remember that this place used to be occupied by a restaurant by the name of Skin & Bones. A quaint foodie hole-in-the-wall that offered dinner on the fancier side for north tabor regulars. Items like braised rabbit and roasted lamb shank graced the menu with great wine pairings and produce so fresh that it was literally grown in the restaurant owner's garden next door. If you ask me, that's pretty damn cool and I think more people should do it. After talking up the two person staff at the Tannery, I learned that the owners are still the same as Skin & Bones. This time, they decided that running a stylish bar with a decent but short menu would be more successful with the North Tabor demographic which is apparently dominated by lowish income renters such as myself. They still have a penchant for fresh local food that is high quality and apparently, the garden next door is still being utilized. They have a creative list of cocktails that are quite good. I always like to see items listed in a cocktail recipe that require me to look up what they are. Because, learning is fun! Although, I can see how some people would be deterred by it. Not me, I'm adventurous like that. The small food menu seems to be working out a few kinks still. Which, of course, is to be expected in a newly revamped establishment. The Lamb shepherds pie was quite delectable and even bigger than I thought it would be. I can only assume that the greens in my side salad came from next door, but the time of year would suggest that they must have came from elsewhere. Either way, they were amazing. Not those typical, flaccid, lifeless greens you get in most other places - including the bulk bin in your local grocer's produce department. While all that was fine and dandy, my Fiancee ordered a bleu cheese polenta dish that came out way too rich and salty. It had potential, but the over-zealous salt use and heavy handed bleu portioning sent it over the cliff. The fries were good. Freshly cut, made with love and properly seasoned. I know that seems like something hard to screw up, but I am a bit of a pommes frites connoisseur. I watched the guy make 'em, and he brought the love.

I was in the mood for steak frites and didn't want to drive to Montmartre, so Yelp steered me here. . .hooray! I sat at the bar w/my magazine and had an elderflower cocktail, the steak frites, and a delish glass of grenache and was in pure heaven. I didn't realize you should order at the counter first (oops). The tunes (vinyl) were perfect, the place wasn't too packed to be annoying, doors are propped open on a nice evening, letting the breeze blow in. . .it was an outstanding meal. Just what I wanted!

I have never been to the Tannery and not absolutely adored everything I've ordered. Their cocktails are unique and delicious, and the food is basically reimagined pub fare that is ridiculously delicious. They rotate out the menu frequently, so while it's sad that a dish I've become attached to goes away - the replacement is always equally delicious. The space is tiny, so it can get a little crowded and loud on busy nights - but its a laid back atmosphere.

Two very cool and calm guys were running the whole show: taking orders, making one drink at a time, cooking, bussing, and washing dishes. The place was quite full on a Wednesday night, so they definitely could have used one extra person, two on staff was innefficient. The order line (no table service) backs up when 1/2 of the personnel does mixology. We were there on a semi-warm night - not on one of the sweltering 90+degree days, and were sweating. So while the ambiance is nice, the air temperature SUCKS! I kinda looked forward to standing in line as their was a small AC vent that blows down on you. ...the fries were awesome, Belgian style. The Burger, Cauliflower and Monte Cristo above average. The Steak Frties for $20 was too rare, there were pieces we didn't finish. The vibe seems to have changed, before it was more low key, low light and subtle. Now it's loud music and lots of 20-somethings pounding canned Tecate beer.

The White Russian tastes just like a chocolate milkshake! Absolutely delicious and I would definitely recommend this cocktail. The bar was a bit loud so it was hard to converse with my group even though we were sitting close together, and for that reason I dropped a star from the review. FYI: The size of the bar is small, so patrons who were unlucky in finding seating inside had to sit outside in the cold.

It was almost to time to close and my date and I were on the hunt for a nicer bar near home that wasn't packed on a Friday night. This was our first official date night and the first date I've been on in years where I didn't pay for every bit. I was passing it when I told him I've always wanted to go there, it looks beautiful. So we turned around and parked near by. It's beautiful, it's candle lit and charming wood finished bar. The counter is low and filled with spices and ingredients. It almost reminded me of what I imagine a tavern in old world would look like. I'm sad to say I forgot the gals name...Melody My date asked what her favorite drink to make was, She had the best response. She likes making whatever makes her customers happy. She replied more in depth then that, but that's the gist. I think the whisky was called Old Timmer, but the bottle was unmarked, had blue tape around the spout. She served us with a orange peel and a large ice cube... The cost was not your well whisky! But the Taste was lovely and it was 25 mins to close. We sat along the bar top facing the window outside... Music was almost a charming industrial... Not heavy but modern. We wanted another but they had closed and there was another party in the room... The bartender was kind enough and filled our cups with another good taste of the same drink. It was a romantic ending. Thank you for living up to being what I thought it would be.

The food here is some of the best food in Portland. We went for brunch on a Saturday and I had the Monte Cristo sandwich. It was one of the best I've ever had, and I consider myself a Monte Cristo connoisseur, always on the lookout! I've also had their waffle and banger sausage, both were amazing. I will eat here many more times in the near future. I just hope someday they are able to be open before 4pm on weekdays so I could eat lunch here everyday!

Marrow bones. Not something one gets to enjoy regularly, or ever. I can count on one hand the amount of times I ever had them and I can exclude my thumb and pinky. Most times when something like that is on a menu you're going to be shelling out the bucks to get it. But at a local bar one block from where I live? The Japanese use the term umami. I agree. Salty, peppery, vinegary, sweet all in one plate. The bones were roasted in balsamic apple vinegar with some black pepper that gave it a little zing at the back end. A little parsley and salt to finish it and the unctuous marrow spread easily on the crusty bread that accompanied the bones. I squeezed a little lemon over the marrow to add yet another layer of flavor. You know you want to try this now. Only $10.00. That's the shocker. A high end restaurant downtown would easily charge five to ten bucks more. I guess it's good I live in North Tabor. I had a couple Occidental Dunkels to make things seem alright. A very friendly staff, 50s and 60s music playing, dimly lit, wood everywhere, rain outside and an incredible selection of bourbon. I am so glad to have finally come in here. And I live a block away. This could be good, this could be bad. Enjoy.

When you pay $7 for a plain waffle - which just so happens to be half of the iron they use - it should be a good waffle, yes? To spell this out for your every time they pour batter into the iron and take out a set of waffles they're making $14. That's crazy talk. Perhaps it wouldn't be if they were delicious, moist, flavorful or perhaps with a bit of fruit or compote. But this $7 waffles is none of those things. It doesn't even come with that much butter! It's hard, crumbles, lacks compelling flavor, and falls apart when you try to cut it. I would gladly trade in for an Eggo. I've tried it three times now - shame on me - hoping each time it will be different. The Gluten Free version is likewise Crumblecity USA. Much like the failed waffle the chicken friend steak was cooked to death making it too tough to enjoy. When I first came for brunch it was totally empty and was wonderful. As time has gone on, people have figured this place out and it seems to have fallen victim to it's own success. The kitchen is tiny and keeping up with brunch demand and bringing out a consistent product seems to have become a challenge. Now you can have a disappointing brunch stacked next to someone at community tables. For $30ish dollars (for 2 people) you can find a better place to enjoy your morning. $5 will get you 2 slices of bacon which I will say are delicious. I'm happy to pay for a good, locally sourced product - just not a crappy one. The croissants are great and come in regular, almond and chocolate. Coffee is consistently bitter. I've had an alright happy hour here. Service is fine. Cocktails are quality. Charcuterie plate was nothing to write home about. I was a huge fan of Skin and Bone, the restaurant that was here prior, however it seems to have become a sad shadow of what it once was.

If I was with a larger group I wouldn't mind the communal seating so much. It's very similar to Le pigeon in this way and a tad cramped but that's part of the charm, really. We have walked by here many times but went in for the first time this Saturday for brunch. It's different than I had it in my head, but in a lovely way. I kind of felt like I stepped back in time to an old shoppe or small village cafe 150 years ago? Interesting eclectic and thoughtful decor throughout and a sweet record player spinning some fun and different yet classic tunes towards the back. Cutest Christmas tree ever. We each had a Bloody Mary - I'm particular with my Bloody Mary and usually think I make 'em better but these were really very good with a nice amount of zing and garnish. I ordered the omelette and enjoyed the flavors - chivey/gruyere buttery flavor. The potatoes were nicely spiced with some caramelized onions and I love a simple green with brunch. That's something I never do at home and always really enjoy. Just a mist of a simple vinaigrette on young spring greens. Server and kitchen staff were not intrusive or chatty though very easy to talk to and very nice and appreciative of compliments and patronage. By the time we were leaving they were getting ready to close for break before dinner service and offered us free pastries! Yes please and thank you for the free flir de lis crescent :) I left feeling happy and cozy. It's a small space so I'm sure it's different when packed but I also hope they do pack it in and flourish. I look forward to going back sometime to try dinner.

The Tannery Bar is a very "vintage-hip" establishment with a standard alcohol selection (considering it's first and foremost a bar). The food selection is impressive, considering the size of their kitchen. I've only had olive appetizers but they were presented well and tasted fresh. I had a great service experience here- My girlfriend and I were sitting at the Bar (which borders the kitchen) and we had ordered a drink and some olives, and she was remarking on how amazing the oil/balsamic on the olives would taste with some fresh bread... So I asked the cook how much it would cost for a slice or two. He looked at me and smiled, "Don't worry about it", and cut us two chunks of really quality moist bread. Also, they seem to have a vinyl record audio system with a staff member who dj's...

The Tannery Bar has become one of my go-to spots for cocktails and small bites in the hood. It's not quiiiite in my hood, so I only get here oh so often, but it's close, and that's good enough to get me there a fair share. It's a perfect middle-ground between what was Skin & Bones and what could be something else, but I like this plenty perfect. The drinks here are carefully crafted, interesting affairs that would easily classify as craft cocktails. However the menu isn't so pretentious as it could be. They have tall boys and other accessible drinks as well. The service is a fairly casual order-at-the-bar style. The food? Super tasty. Their Torta Española is one of the best I've had in PDX, and while the menu focuses on small bites, it's easy to get full here. I recommend the steak frites, or, if you're just feelin' snacky, the frites sans steak. However even if you're just in the mood for drinking bites, the steak frites can easily be shared and the meat (either hanger or bavette, I can't recall) is divine. The venue itself is the same as Skin & Bones (same people, don'tchaknow). It has a lot of great reclaimed wood and feels very warm and cozy. Low lights, open small kitchen/bar, and an ambiance that could work in a more urban or more neighborhood-y setting. These guys seem to have found the right balance here, and there are really no aspects of the joint that disappoint. I'll stop in for a liquid tan any time.

Wow is this place over-priced for Portland....$16 for their signature Manhattan??? Was it made with elvish magic? Not sure what else to say. The menu is focused but also high priced. Really you can go elsewhere and get the same items. Certainly the money was not going to staffing as there was one bartender and one cook.

This is a really hard review to write. I wasn't wowed, but it's a nice little place. There's no doubt it's overrun with a hipster attitude, but it isn't an in-your-face hipster attitude. The food and drinks are clearly very high quality, though I can't imagine trying to actually eat dinner here. The Tannery gave us a great place to have some drinks with a friend for his birthday. I'm not sure I'd make the effort to wait in line for dinner, but it doesn't seem wrong to do it for some good drinks.

I live around the corner and wish I started coming in sooner. Its small and cozy and really casual for having such fancy drinks and nice food - the best fries! I'm a fan of the shot & a beer combo... and it's cool to watch your meal being prepared at the bar by the owner-dude who also likes to tell good stories. Nice bartender ladies, too. It's easy to have a cheap date and also a not-so-cheap date. I give it five starts because I think they truly deserve it.

Damn you, Tannery. I just started to love you as I quietly plan my exit from East Burnside. My checking account statement shows I've been through your doors with my debit card thrice in a couple of weeks, and that's at least three more times than I ever graced your former incarnation with my presence. Let me give you some background. For the past six and a half years, I've lived within cat-tossing distance of the corner where The Tannery currently sits. Its predecessor, the Skin and Bones restaurant, opened to much fanfare. Well, really, mostly just me. There'd been nothing on that stretch of Burnside for ages, save for the walk of shame to The Copper Rooster. So I visit S & B on the night of its soft opening. Where I had to get up in the grill of someone behind the bar to ask to buy a glass of wine after several minutes, then was steadfastly ignored as I stood awkwardly near the bar. The place is tiny. The only thing worse than standing awkwardly in a tiny restaurant is standing awkwardly naked next to some stranger's bed. And the stranger has forced you at gunpoint to leave without your clothes. I digress! The point is I felt unwelcome, soft opening or not, and I never set foot in Skin and Bones again. It didn't surprise me when its doors closed permanently. So I was bemused when it reopened as The Tannery, a bar with a handful of upscale food choices. I think Crime Partner suggested we check it out, and promised to shake his fist in indignation if the customer service level was the same as I had experienced the last time I was within its modest walls. That was not the case. As it turns out, the small space of the bar is perfect for creating an intimate, almost inevitably romantic mood. It has a couple of communal tables and very limited bar seating, but somehow, the way they dim the lights and crank exotic music on the record player set against the north-facing wall helps to melt those pesky boundaries. And not in a rapey way, promise. For food, The Tannery once had pasta arrabiata on the menu, but it wasn't spicy, even though the handmade noodles were all right. But their Croque Monsieur is seriously one of the best kind of things to eat when you've been drinking - it's like breakfast before midnight. And although it's easy to spend quite a bit on alcohol if you stick to cocktails, the beer specials and lower-end wines can help you in a pinch. They have Heater Allen, in any case. The being ignored by the staff must have been a fluke from its newness, too, because the people scurrying around the skinny bar and cooking aisle at The Tannery now have been very nice. Maybe they can sense I'm moving and they really, really want me to stick around? You tease me so, Tannery.

Super small, intimate place with a neat open kitchen. The food choices were limited but pretty good, and I had a delicious raspberry beer. I was kind of disappointed that every single drink order and food order had to be made at their register. The place felt more upscale than that and it was inconvenient to step away from those I was having drinks with to request another drink. I'm not sure why they do it this way. If they changed it to tableside ordering I think that they'd do much better. Their hours are also kind of funny with not opening till 5p.. we tried to go for happy hour after work and had to wait around for a bit until they opened. It was a neat place overall though.

The tannery bar has a short list of amazing, boozy (in the best way) cocktails and a brilliant menu that is exactly right for a prolonged happy hour. The ambiance is wonderfully cozy, there is outdoor seating off busy Burnside, and a resident friendly dog makes the whole place feel like you're in a friend's giant kitchen being excessively pampered. I hope this place sticks around for a long time. My sweetie and I discovered it only a month ago and have been back multiple times since.

Coming from the Phoenix area, The Tannery is different from what we're accustomed to for brunch. Although the place is very small (2 long inside tables, bar seating, and four outdoor tables), the food was excellent. Our party of five had a variety of entrees, and we were all very pleased with our choices.

There is a treasure among us. The Tannery bar has a cozy feel, excellent drinks and well crafted food to make even the biggest Portland food critic melt. My friend and I decided to check this place out on a moderately cool day in Portland and we loved it. The happy hour prices were decent and the moscow mule was the best I have ever had. I can see myself hanging out in this small enchanting bar on a rainy day for hours with friends. It has a feel-good vibe. Kudos to the Tannery.

There are few things worse when you want a chill-out drink on a hot summer day than a snotty, inhospitable cocktail waitress. The place was empty, late afternoon, so it's not like she was under pressure. Though she perked right up when a guy came in to order. Not cool. And the $9 dirty martini she did make for me was not well balanced, definitely below average.

I want so badly to give this place 5 stars, I really do - what I've had of the food is very good and the tastes I've had of crafty drinks are good as well. But check this out...If you're a person who goes to a bar to get a whiskey, you don't need a crazy crafty whiskey. You just want the booze, maybe straight, maybe on ice perhaps with a beer. What you don't want is to pay 3 dollars more for that drink than you do just about anywhere else. booze isn't that expensive anyway! For what most people charge, the mark up is already absurd when you consider the cost of the bottle of booze to begin with but to give it another %30 mark up on top of what other bars charge is just crazy. Go for the atmosphere, get a beer, a crafty mixed drink or an amazing Monte Cristo, but I'd suggest you coinsider how you'll be spending your days paycheck if you intend to shoot the shit and have a few drinks. Or maybe this place isn't made for average people who get average paychecks(?) I can't quite tell

The Tannery Bar is a great spot! I stopped in after work, during happy hour and got a generous pour of Bulleit Rye for $5. Good Music, Great Lighting and sound. The fries looked fantastic (but I had to hurry home so didn't get to try them). I've eaten other food by Caleb and his crew, so I know the small bites will be solid. I'll definitely be back, regularly. Seems like a super fun place to bring an out of town guest, you are basically so cool if you know this place exists.

Unique cocktails, very intimate and relaxed atmoshphere. Didn't get to try the food, but the small plate menu looked promising. Space is sort of tight, but in a cozy romantic way. Some good vibes going on here. A good place to start a date.

This is a little hidden treasure. We are from out of town and just so happened to be staying down the street from The Tannery. We walked by it a few times during our travels and decided to stop in. What a great choice! The atmosphere is wonderful. They have an amazing drink selection that alone would make you want to stay all night. They also have a nice dinner menu as well as good service. Hands down best place on our trip so far.

By far, the best moscow mule I've had in my life. This is the perfect place to bring guests! The monte cristo with fries is a MUST! Ambience is great...takes me back in time.
