Best Subway in Portland... I live 200 yards from the Subway on Capital Hwy but drive the extra mile to come here because the service and quality is 100x better than the store on Capital... (Capital Hwy subway is always out of items and ALWAYS out of olives... how does one run out of olives?) Service is impeccable, always over-staffed and efficient and fresh. Prices are lower than the subway on Capital too!

This Subway is by FAR my favorite I've ever been to! First off, it's an Express Subway which offers online ordering, different menu options, a 'happy hour menu' from 2-6 pm daily and all day Sunday and delivery services. Also, they carry smoked salmon once a week which is my favorite. AND they have mini-pizzas that are delicious! The owner believes in customer service and efficiency. This Subway is by goes above and beyond! They are fast, friendly, always have a smile on their faces and treat the customer like a high-end department store treats it's customers. Kind of like the Nordstrom of food. I always have an excellent experience when I go to this Subway. I believe that the reason is the owner and manager do do an amazing job and treat their staff right so in turn the staff feels appreciated and treat the customer right. Way to go!! Love you guys. Wish all retail or food establishments would take a hint from this place!

I have never really been much of a Subway customer, so when I came in I was clueless what to order and how they do things. The staff was really friendly, helpful and didn't make me feel like I was an idiot. I had a coupon and they took care of that too. It was a great experience and now I have started going there instead of other nearby competitors when I want fast food. Good Job!

Got half way through my sandwich before I noticed the tomatoes where black and moldy. Bread was tough and crusty like it had sat out on the counter all night. I hope I don't get sick from the tomatoes. So Gross.

Subway sandwiches everywhere! They are always delicious. That's a god given fact and it's fantastic. What makes a subway restaurant fantastic all round is the staff and their service. This subway place was the best because their staff was simply fantastic. It was lunch hour so there was a long line of ppl waiting to get a sandwich. I was expecting delays and a wait, but it went smoothly. One guy was in charge of bread, meat, and cheese, the other was in charge of the toppings, the other was in charge of sauces, nd the other was in charge of cashing out, and the last one was in charge of helping out with whatever was needed. The two guys that made my sandwiches were so nice and helpful. They had their sandwich game on point; no need to ask for extras because they have a decent, generous amount of everything. I was passing by only, traveling with my fam, but for the ppl who love around here or are passing by as well, I recommend this place.

It's was clean, spacious and the workers actually took the time to listen and make the sam exactly how I like. they don't honor advertised specials, they don't offer all of the cheese choices (provolone) that other branches offer, and the service was the slowest and un-enthusiastic I've ever experienced. With so many lunch options nearby, I doubt I'll return to this store.

Open 24 hours! They have a new remodel on the place last year with more seating and larger work area. Always more than one or two employees working there so you get your order fast unlike some of the other Subways that are even closer to where I live, its worth the extra drive for me.

5 star review for a...Subway? Yup, it's not a mistake. This is THE best Subway I have ever been to. During the weekday lunch rush, this place has 6 or 7 people lined up to make your sandwich and get you in and out of there FAST! You can have a line to the door and still walk away with your food in 5 minutes. They have online ordering and do deliveries as well. The customer service here is definitely top notch and better than what I've seen in some restaurants. Unlike Jennifer L., I never saw any smoked salmon or mini-pizzas, but I'm going to have to ask about that next time I'm there. However, I did see free cookie samples for people waiting in line. Other Subways in the area need to learn from this place.

Generally, I go to a different Subway because this one is farther away from where I live, but this was on my way home today. I think I'll be going out of my way to come here from now on. The guy working tonight was amazing. He really took his time to make sure the sandwich had everything evenly distributed, and looked nice too. Who cares, right? I do! It's such an infrequent thing that happens at a Subway that I took note. This guy takes pride in making his sandwiches, and it shows. This dude gets it. I'll be coming back to this one as long as he's working there. Only 4 stars because I'm not crazy about the quality of ingredients, but this dude made the most of them. The dude gets a 5. He should be teaching everyone how to do things the right way.

I agree with the other two reviewers. I work about 3 blocks away from another Subway (the one on barbur next to Les Shwab) but will chose this one every time. The people who work there are incredibly friendly and efficient. Even in a rush, they are able to move people quickly without making us customers feel like they are being frantic. They have NEVER been out of a sandiwch item, unlike the Barbur store front. (who was out of lettuce? huh?) The store is always hopping, but I've never had to wait more than around 5 minutes to start my sandwich. They also don't nickel and dime you with extra veggies (the barbur one charges for any veggie item that's "extra.") I've been very pleased with the management team who have created this warm place to stop for a healthy meal. Way to go owners, you will get an email from me soon!

This is the best Subway ever. They are SO fast and friendly. They get my order right every time and never mind when I come in with a list of multiple orders with multiple payments. Now they even deliver! Our office hasn't taken advantage of it yet, but I'm sure that's down the road. The franchise owner of this place should be training Subway owners all across the US.
