I was craving a smoothie and obsessing over the thought of one. They satisfied my craving more than i expected. The price was decent and the fellow working there was polite. It was an excellent experience and i will definitely be returning.

Great smoothies! Slightly overpriced, but definitely worth it on a warm day. On a different note, every worker seems irritated by customers. They are not mean, just not friendly at all. And it is not just one employee - it is every single one, every single time. I almost feel bad asking them to make a smoothie. Am I the only person that has noticed this? Easily 5 stars if I could get one smile from one employee.

The drinks were really good, but the girl who made them was definitely not pleasant. Very unfriendly.

I had a strong craving for a fresh smoothing this afternoon and I'm glad Sip was near by. The little globe trailer packs everything you would want from a fruit stand - juices, smoothies, smoothie bowls, lattes, vegan 'milkshakes', shots and more. I ordered the Greensicle smoothie, a tasty treat that packs a tons of vitamins in a 16oz cup, both nutritious and delicious. It had the perfect amount of zest, citrus, and sweetness (kale, spinach, fresh orange juice, ice and the secret ingredients- dates and vanilla). My order was ready in a matter of minutes. Prices are reasonable for fresh, quality ingredients. I hope to come back and order a bowl, maybe with a shot of wheatgrass if I'm feeling ambitious. I also hope to visit Sip's sister cafe, Canteen, which offers healthy savory bowls, yum!

This place is disgusting and the blond woman who made the abomination (a so-called smoothie) was so rude and unhelpful. I love smoothies. I had no idea you could make them taste so bad. Avoid this gross trailer.

SIP is a bang on place to get fresh healthy juices, nutritious shots, boosters, smoothies and some hot drinks too. This is kind of a tiny hidden treasure. They make fresh juices in front of you. High on nutrition and satisfy your taste buds as well. The Wheatgrass shot was great.Best I have ever tasted. They use a masticating juicer for their juices and vitamix for their smoothies. Love these two machines and with this slow juicer makes sure that nutritions are not lost. No high airs about this place, just loved the feel of this cart. If you are into juicing or looking for some healthy drinks to sip then this is the place. I am coming back to SIP for more veggie juices. Juice on!

  • Lisanne C.

Had the sweet verde juice and it was amazing. My boyfriend ordered the tropical green smoothie but that one was not as good. Wheat grass shot is served with an orange slice. Prices and quantity are reasonable and you can't beat the freshness!

I had an organic strawberry milkshake that was ridiculously delicious. It didn't take too long to come out either. Cost was $6.

I love Sip because it's all vegan and you have a choice between delicious milkshakes and delicious juices. My partner and I love to support them and the co-op when we can. I'm totally fine with minimal customer service here... it's a food truck, so I don't expect much -- they're busy!

Sip is like a healthy hug start to your day. They feature delicious, fresh juices and smoothies and other great options like a breakfast bowl or "milk"shake. I love their location as it's the perfect spot to get something to-go and explore Alberta Street on your day off. I think the quality is the best in the entire Portland area and I've tried just about everywhere. My only hope is that the employees would engage with me even a tiny bit or make a suggestion or remembered that it was my twenty third time there.

Every time I visit Portland, I MUST have a juice. I have a list of so many wonderful places to grab a fresh juice in the area, but Sip is not at the top of that list. The juices are great, don't get me wrong. They mix in the right amount of flavors to get the drink tasting perfect. Call me nit picky, but my experiences here have been about average, sometimes even below par. The juices I get are never cold, rather, they are at best lukewarm. I never really get to enjoy my juice if it tastes the same temperature as bath water. I'm not sure if the fruits/veggies are refrigerated, but it seems as if they've been sitting out in the sun for hours. My other minor complaint is that the wait time is too long. They appear to only have once juicer (I know, this is being picky). With two people ahead of me, I waited a good 15-20 minutes for my small drink. Other places that do the same thing take less time with higher quality drinks. I will probably not be visiting Sip as often as I visit the other juice "bars" within Portland. The long wait and the warm juice does not make a happy camper.

Love their juices and smoothies. So does my toddler. Makes me happy to see him gulping down those greens.

While the lady that works there on Saturday has an incredible chip on her shoulder and doesn't get the simplest of niceties (saying thank you or you're welcome) the juice is quite delicious. A little more thank you and a little less curmudgeon and you get an extra star. You're welcome!

they very generous with the ice on their smoothie however the flavor is good :)

The flu slayer is my favorite. When ever I feel down this always lifts me back up. Their other juices are spot on. Sometimes it seems like it takes a while to get your drink and the staff isn't always in a rush to help you (for the most part they are all friendly), but I still would recommend this place to anyone.

    (5)
  • Lena H.

I like their juice but the service is a bit grumpy, so I don't go as often as I would like a juice, which is really every day. Wait time is a bit long as well but I do understand that everything is made to order, which I prefer to bottled juice.

    (3)
  • Monique L.

Awesome fresh juices and the wheatgrass shot was virtually bitterless! I really like that they have a hot drink menu (steamed fresh juice) setting them apart! If you're sick, try the FluSlayer, a comforting combination of fresh apple lemon ginger juice with garlic, cayenne, elderberry syrup, oregon grape and echinacea! Made right in front of me from scratch. Amazing.

  • Jan C.

I like their smoothies, especially their creamsicle one. It's not really healthy because of all the sugar but it's definitely delicious. Once I showed up 15 minutes before closing, along with another random customer only to be greeted without apology that she was closing and wouldn't be making anymore smoothies. That wasn't really nice. I think the other customer felt the same way. Other than that, it's a nice little business to have in the neighborhood. I do think I might be bringing my business to the new Portland Juice Press location that just opened since it's closer to where I live.

The best juice bar ever! I am so glad that I made a special visit to this food cart just outside the food co-op. They had 3 people working in their tiny space and serving the constant flow of customers. They have juices, smoothies, milkshakes and even granola! Check out their menu beforehand... There are so many options, you will have a hard time deciding what to get. Everything is YUMMY and super healthy (even if it tastes like dessert). Very reasonable prices for very high quality and nutritious bevies. No sugars, Perservatives of yucky additives here... Just whole foods! Cash only!

I'm gonna tell you something you may not know about me... I grew up on health food. A quick read of the bulk of my reviews wouldn't give you a clue of this deep secret. My love for all things adventurous, comforting, and confit belies my whole grain upbringing. Obviously, while I may be well beyond the punk-rock rebellious days of my youth, I'm still in mid-knee-jerk rotation on my culinary-rebellion - enjoying all the things I was denied as a child. But that doesn't mean I deny my soft spot for delicious, nutritious, healthy, local, natural food, and surprisingly, I have a hard time finding it in Portland. I've lived in this town for going on 10 years, and that entire time I've been hurting for an honest-to-goodness juice bar. I'm not talking about a place like Blossoming that has a couple of juice options, or a Jamba Juice or some other fruit-and-powder-and-ice-cream-heavy smoothie place. I'm longing for something reminiscent of Gravity Bar in Seattle, where you can mix and match a grip of different veggie and fruit juices, wheatgrass, ginger, garlic, protein powders, spirulina, and all sorts of other crazy healthy and empowering ingredients and basically get a cup full of amazing. I finally found something that comes close - and it's a cart outside of People's Co-op. Carrot beet celery with wheatgrass and garlic? Oh hell yes. Apple and other fruits available? MMm hmmm. Ability to get your drink in an actual glass if you're headed inside to do some shopping or you want to hippie-out on the dirt bench nearby (who builds dirt benches in the PacNW anyway?!)? Yup. While Sip isn't the end-all be-all for juice options in this world, as far as Portland goes, it's 5-star. The prices run around $5 or $6 for a 16oz cup of juice. This is significantly less expensive than spots like Blossoming (which can run upward of $8 for one of these) and offers more than straight carrot/beet or some other basic juice. So when I get that yearning to add some nutrients back in to my diet, I can drop by Sip and get my... uh... sip on! Yeah. MMMMmmmmmm.

  • Geoffrey G.

Great tasting juices and smoothies and friendly staff. Simple and to the point, what more could you want? The Greencicle smoothie with added protein is my favorite green smoothie i've had anywhere. The wait on a rainy weekday morning was a little long and I could see it being rough on a weekend, but I didn't mind much as I had the time.

  • Ali S.

This place has a great menu! Lots of options including steamed elixirs! So cool. They also have a selection of shots including blue algae. If you don't see a juice that suits your fancy, you can come up with your own concoction. The only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars is because the juices are a tad pricey compared to what I'm used to. Please note that I haven't been to other Portland juicers, so it might be market price. A 16 oz. juice is $7-8.

I got a case of food poisoning the day before and didn't want solid food, but needed sustenance. I saw the reviews on Yelp for Sip and drove out immediately to get an anti-nausea cure. The very helpful Asian lady made suggestions for my vomitous issues. It was delicious and helped settle my stomach and craving for fresh juice. Thank you.

I tend to not like eating greens, and yet I love this cart. Their drinks are incredible. Get the tropical greens. You won't be disappointed!

  • Molly W.

All they do are beverages, and they do them well. Sip has something for everyone to sip on: a ginger heavy concoction to help knock out a cold; a chocolate peanut butter pick-me-up called The Belmont; a creamsicle tasting smoothie called the Orange Julieish. The smoothies are always delicious and creatively made so that I would never miss the absence of dairy products. I haven't tried the juices yet, but I have taken multiple shots of wheatgrass, and today they were giving a free shot to anyone who bought a beverage! Visit Sip and enjoy a smoothie while you read a book at the lovely People's Food Co-Op!

  • Michelle K.

The lady in here is so nice and if you catch her at the right time, she'll offer you a shot of some extra of whatever kind of deliciousness she was just making. The Incredible Hulk is delicious and makes you feel awesome! Please don't order a small though cuz I mean... C'mon... You can't get a SMALL Incredible Hulk, that doesn't even make sense. The steamed juices are also soooo good in the winter; I highly recommend even if you think hot juice isn't up your alley. Finally, I had a matcha latte here that was so delicious (and better than the matcha latte at Townshends) The only bummer is that you have to wait outside for your drinks and the wait can get pretty lengthy since everything is made fresh, but honestly it's totally worth it! You can hang out in your car or buy some bulk goods at the co-op while you wait instead of just waiting by the cart making sad eyes at the juicer like I do. (I don't think she likes that...)

  • Melyssa B.

A little hipster-licious, but it's balanced with actually deliciousness. The juices and smoothies are great recipes and fresh. The Belmont and the Greensicle are my favorites. They are on the expensive side ($4-$6 a juice/smoothie), but the ingredients are high quality and local. Try the smoothies with dates instead of agave, it taste better and is healthier AND there is no additional charge. I am not vegan, but the vegan milkshake is out-of-this-world amazing! I dream of it every so often. Bring your own container and after 10 drinks you get one free :)

Delicious juice and smoothies cart. Get something with Kale in it because it's good for you. Sip serves all juices and smoothies the right way. This is a must stop by place if you are in the area or shopping at the Co Op.

Been a member of People's for a while, and I know it's the best co-op out there! Lived in Seattle 7 years before this and visited co-ops throughout the US (Atlanta, LA, San Diego). It's rare you find a true "co-op". There are not even managers at People's. It is truly self and member managed. Employees are divided into teams who are often cross trained in other areas as well. People's is small, but gets lots and lots of local organic produce, baked goods, etc. There is a Farmer's Markert every Wenesday from 2-7 (come rain or shine).

  • Laurel K.

Healthy, original selection. Nice variety, and very generous with the portions of each ingredient. Not watered down with the fruits and veggies that produce the most juice (like apples, cucumber) like some juice bars. My favorite spot for juice in Portland.

I watched the first half of the juicing documentary "Sick, Fat, and Nearly Dead" and I already decided I was going to jump on the juicing band wagon. I ordered up my juicer on Amazon, then made a stop to Sip to find out what I was getting into. I ordered the Super Veggie, which was a juice of beets, carrots, kale, celery, and garlic. This juice was all sorts of awesome. My wife and I wanted to lick our cups clean. It was eye-opening good. I can't wait for my juicer to get here and try to emulate what Sip was apparently perfected. The prices were OK and reflected how much veggies go into making one juice. I wish they took credit card though. I don't know how many other places are doing the real veggie juice thing, but Sip has got it down and I am definitely making it a stop on my upcoming juice fast.

  • Ethan D.

Oh Sip...... you make the most delicious juices I've ever tasted. Every penny I spend at your cart is well worth it, both for the taste and the health I gain from your concoctions. My personal favorite is the "Post Standard." If I was a wealthy individual, I would probably stop by to drink at least 2 of these every single day. Sip, you're always kind, you're in a perfect location, you use the freshest dang ingredients (you can taste it!), and my family and I are grateful that you exist! See you again soon!

I am so over businesses that prominently feature these oh so cool Portland hipsters that deliver service with a smug, I-am-so-above-it-all look on their faces. The servers here are awful! How about some appreciation for customers? I have patronized this business for the last time. I can't stand the rude service!

I started a juice fast a few days ago, and have been making juices at home for most meals. Today I was out and about and needed lunch, but didn't have time to go home. Sip came up on my "juice bars" search and I was pleasantly surprised that their juices and smoothies contain fresh fruits and vegetables, not frozen anything, powders or sorbet. Don't get me wrong, I love Jamba Juice, but their drinks are not a part of any type of cleansing fast. I had the Hawthorne (carrot, apple, ginger, parsley and lemon), and my husband had the Greensicle, which is green and full of salad type stuff. Don't remember the exact ingredients. Both were delicious! Not cheap, but now that I know how many fruits and vegetables go into making 8 ounces of a pure juice drink, I can appreciate the price. Do your body a favor and give Sip a try!

  • Sabrina H.

Sip, why must you be so far away from me? You're so delicious that the distance can't even keep me away. That's right, a few of us Yelpers take special trips just for a vegan milkshakes, smoothies, or juice. That's right, I said vegan. I have yet to try something that I didn't enjoy from here. Sometimes though I have to change my mind on what to get because they've run out of ingredients...their fresh produce type of ingredients. Last time I was there it was pineapple, the time before that it was strawberries. Just be ready to be flexible. It's great to sit around watching everyone going into the food co-op plus the employees of Sip. Needless to say, you will get some entertainment while enjoying your tasty, vegan beverage.

This is a little cart next to the entrance to the food co-op. The mudpie smoothie was a great 'pick me up' with coffee, chocolate and peanut butter! The tropical greens was delicious and refreshing. The kids loved the savanna with strawberry and banana! Everything is made fresh right in front of you. They have a juicer if you like a smooth juice, and a blender if you like your smoothie with the whole fruit & vegetables mixed in there.

I didn't know it was possible, but I think I found love at a juice bar. ... no silly, not THAT type of juice bar (which, by the way, I only learned the true meaning of during my very recent Vegas trip...) but enough on this tangent. Sip is the one place I know I can go to get my smoothie fix without the all the added icky stuff that would normally leave me feeling "blah". I love that everything here is super fresh, I mean the orange juice was squeezed right in front of my eyes! I ordered the sabana, which had all sweet and tangy fruityness that I've come to love in a strawberry-type smoothie. It was a delight for all of my taste buds and perfect for the upcoming warmer days. The sabana is definitely a favorite of mine, but I'm looking forward to coming back for the green smoothies and milkshakes! :)

28 reviews, the vast majority glowing. One rave after another. Why would I bother adding another? Because this place is what it's all about. What is "it"? You'll know "it" when you experience it. :D Vegan Milkshakes! Milk, yes! Dairy, no. Don't have to be vegan or health conscience to indulge. Lactose intolerant apply at the counter. Did I mention the charming counter attached to the cute former housing that contains Sip? Not trailer trash at all. It actually adds even more character to that which is one majorly cool co-op. But how can one avoid the pull of frozen delights? Simply partake of the scrumptious smoothies or juices which seem even more of a treat due to the rarity of such quality choices and blends! There's also soups though I haven't tried one yet. I've been too taken with the amazing green smoothies, and now the juices which have shown me what the buzz is all about. Once I tried the "Super Veggie" (kale, celery, carrot, cucumber, beet, garlic) that I was turned onto by Yelper "Michelle H" on this very page (thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you) I've actually not had anything else there as I just can't imagine going there and not having it. So yummy I don't even want juice elsewhere because they don't have what Sip has. And I couldn't even stand beets a year ago! Obama needs to see the light reflecting off Sip's panels as he discovers the wonders of the little red root here. But those smoothies are honest raw smoothies, not the type with yogurt or generic soy milk or jarred nut butters added to each and every single one. Some can be a bit sweet for those already initiated but it's simple enough to request it agave-free and if a little agave gets a novice to give the power of green drinks a try (such as me who timidly but bravely had my first green smoothie right here, 18 months ago based on the uncontainable excited hum from health veterans) then I say, "BRAVO!" The owner seems passionate too while the people he hires are good and friendly yet relaxed. This is a place where you can order, walk away to talk to friends you haven't seen since the last time you were at Peep's, or even do some shopping then come back to have delicious, freshly made food and drinks waiting patiently for you. More than that, if you want to avoid creating more garbage the option is there to have it in a real dish or glass while hanging in the Peep's courtyard which is the epicenter of organic PDX. Oh yes, there's also teas, herbal elixirs (with fresh juice), and boosters as well as soy-free alternatives to the already gluten-free and all-organic menu. As cruelty-free too as it gets. The only thing I would ask for is 20 ounce juices (Super Big Sips? Double Sips?) and the option to add lemon, lime, and/or ginger. Truly, Sip is an indulgence one can do daily and not only look better in a few months but feel much better too. Soon they'll debut Sip's line of veggie-print bikinis and speedos for the newly fit. :D

Perhaps I'm biased because my husband makes the best vegan milkshakes from Tempt hemp ice cream and hemp milk, but Sip wasn't as spectacular as I hoped from all the rave reviews. I ordered a soy-free matcha shake. I was disappointed that they used Coconut Bliss. I could've easily made the same drink at home, only with better matcha. I didn't even finish my drink. My husband had a cookies & cream shake. He said it was "all right" and agreed he's made tastier vegan shakes at home, some with no sugar, like when he made me a raw matcha shake that was better than the one I purchased at Sip. We tried samples of the soup du jour. It was pretty good but nothing that knocked my socks off.

Booster Who, Jumba wha? Oh? I think in my strip mall USA days I might of remembered those other smoothy places, but this little tin mobile shop blew my mind, The fruit is beyond fresh and the taste is nothing that I have experience, A total fruity mouth-gasm that cured a hot Portland day. Everything is fresh, you get a glass jar, which I think improves every drink, and to go orders comes with a compostable cup,lid and straw and napkins. They also have wheat grass, did you know that one shot of wheat grass, one ounce, is worth 2.5 pounds of leafy veggies! Sip is a great treat when shopping at People's Co-op and Wednesday for the farmers market.

I have been dreaming of Summer and this place for quite some time. I have already decided that riding my bike to people's and buying a vegan creamsicle milkshake on a hot and sunny day will be my favorite past time. Last week we drove our car to this hood to look at a house. It was not the same as riding a bike by any means. I also opted for the Greensicle smoothie instead of the vegan milkshake. I am so glad that I did. it was delicious and healthy. It was also cheaper and that always motivates me (especially now that I am unemployed AGAIN). Now I am going to have to change my vision of my soon to be favorite past time. But only just a little. And it will be a little healthier and a little cheaper and that makes it even better.

I was drawn in by the cute logo. They take cash only so I went into the co op to grab some veg and get $$. I bought my $15.00 bundle of aspargus (that's another story for another review) than in my sticker shock haze I stumbled out to Sip and ordered the first two safe bets I saw. Orange Julius and Samara? Baberry? Strana? anyways. It was some kind of Strawberry/Banana. They were both really good. I especially likes the Orange Julius and I wish I had know about this place during my pregnancy cravings.

So adorable and handy and delicious. It's snuggled up with People's Co-op, such a great location. It's 100% organic and vegan, and you can be naughty or nice with a milkshake or fresh juice. However, they have invented the compromise of the Greensicle. It's sweet and orange-vanilla-y but it has some good greens in it too. I would drink one every day if I could. Wednesdays are farmer's market days that are extra-awesome.

Here is a pointless fact about myself. Everyday from 6th to 12th grade I had a key lime pie yogurt for lunch. Shoot...why lie, I still have that for lunch! No, you really are not missing out on some amazing yogurt; I am just THAT boring when it comes to food. Regrettably, I am equally as dull when it comes to where I go get food, so like it or not, my sister is making me try new places. As a starting point (that wouldn't result in complete culture shock) I was introduced to Sip. After glancing over the menu, I decided to be brave and try a green tea milkshake. Slightly hesitant about my choice, I was quickly comforted when I was presented with a drink that was a similar shade of key lime yogurt green. Following my initial baby sip, I came to the verdict that I was holding a cup full of deliciousness! Those vegans sure know what it is all about; in fact, I don't think I ever want an ice-cream based milkshake ever again! So I guess I have to admit that trying new things won't kill me. This probably means I should set aside my boring yogurt filled lunches and spice things up a bit more often. Who knows, with this new outlook, I might even get daring and try something completely out of my comfort zone the next time I stop by Sip! But I won't get too far ahead of myself quite yet...baby steps!

Had a green smoothie for breakfast here - kale, spinach, apples and ginger. Served from a trailer parked in front of Peoples Food Co-op in Portland Oregon. The whole experience was "pure Portlandia" as my friend described it. Located in the middle of an urban neighborhood and hard to find but the smoothie was fabulous! Basically got a whole days worth of fruit and veggies in a fabulous tasting green smoothie. I tasted the apples and the ginger, not the veggies. Am hoping I can find something comparable when I get home to HB, either that or I may go get a Vita-mix :)

At the risk of alluding to that famous scene in Dumb and Dumber, there are a trio of sounds that I rank as the most annoying in the world: 1. nails on terracotta 2. squeaking and scraping metal against metal 3. sipping and slurping But as I found myself at the bottom of my Sabana Smoothie (with bananas, OJ, agave, and blueberries substituted for strawberries) I couldn't help but try to slurp every last drop through the tiny compostable straw. Sweet yet tangy, cool but not ice cold, it was the perfect treat to a sunny not-quite-summer afternoon in Portland. Located on the tiny corner plaza outside the People's Co-Op, Sip is a little hidden gem in a city that already does organic and vegan so well. The super friendly gal perched in the old school aluminum cart turns out drinks like a pro, and it's obvious that Sip has garnered quite the following in its young culinary life. There's just something about it, you can't help but leave with a satisfied sweet tooth and smile on your face... It's definitely a worthy adventure for you and your best mate to try and seek this place out in the Clinton neighborhood. Just watch out that your glee for this little spot shaded by leafy trees and chirping birds doesn't turn into a rousing chorus of "mock-yeah-ing-yeah-bird-yeah" in the process. I hear that gets annoying.

Milkshakes are one of my favorite things, ever. Years ago, before I was vegan, I loved going to Seaton Pharmacy (anyone remember that place) and sit at the lunch counter and get a mediocre grilled cheese and a delicious milkshake. Sip was not my first vegan milkshake experience, but I think it has been the best. First of all, it's adorable, and outside People's, which is very convenient. The first milkshake I ever got from Sip was a cherry chocolate shake (a special) made with local organic cherries, and it improved my day tenfold. My favorite flavor is off-menu, but easy enough for them to whip up-- peanut butter cookies and cream. Plain peanut butter (no chocolate, thanks!) is my second favorite. I've also gotten green smoothies here, and they are excellent as well, though I drink plenty of green smoothies at home and like to indulge a little when I go out. I've heard people complain that Sip is pricy, which is true, but so is soy ice cream. I think it's worth it. I've also heard people complain about the portions being small but I always feel a little ill by the time I finish a shake, so I think they are just fine how they are.

Decent juice trailer outside of people's co-op. It took quite a while (15+ minutes) for my juice to be made. Wish they'd given an estimate (could have gone shopping while it was made). However, the juice (got a Diehard) - was a good all green veggie juice.

I tried two shakes from them and thought they were alright. Great ingredients without the state of the art v-8 tasting BS but not matching up to 5 stars. The service lost another star on this review. She was too busy making drinks rather then paying attention to our order. We purchased one drink and was charged for two different drinks. We said hell, bought them and left. The Weds farmer's market is a hit making great business for SIP, but if she can't get orders right she needs to get a second hand, no excuses.

My husband and I shared a strawberry milkshake here. It was yummy. Love that it's made with coconut ice cream.

Every time I go to Sip I try to get a smoothie or juice and end up getting a milkshake. I can't help it! They're so dang good! The cart is mega cute too. I hope they open more and more so I can have a vegan milkshake anywhere in Portland. Sip it.

I want to set up a tent next to this little cart and never, ever leave. I will survive on milkshakes, smoothies, and juices alone. (Although now that the cold weather is coming they're switching over to two vegan soups per day!) The milkshakes are just phenomenal. I've sampled the Mudslide (I think?) smoothie and the chocolate-peanut-butter, cookies and cream, and marionberry* milkshakes and everything was ecstatic eye-rolling good. * The marionberry milkshake was the best thing ever. They even added chocolate syrup to mine to make a chocolate-berry shake. The same girl has been working both times that my roommate and I have stopped by, and she's the best. Super nice, helpful, gives great suggestions, and makes an epic milkshake. I can't wait to see what soup season brings. (And apple cider! Oh, the apple cider!)

I just went to Sip for the first time yesterday & I was SO PLEASED. Amazing menu, affordable prices (i.e.- buying my daughter a smoothie as well didn't totally break the bank), and my smoothie was delicious! I will definitely be stopping here more often.

Love the Die Hard, and I love the Belmont. It tastes just like melted chocolate peanut butter ice cream. Glad there's a juice cart worth going to in my hood. Thank you!

The 'greensicle' is amazing and my 6 yro son who is inspects his food for traces of green veggies slurps it down happily and I'm thrilled to see him love the juice from leafy greens.

If there were more stars I would give them. My lover and I just tried a milkshake: vegan cherry chocolate for the very first time and both agreed that it was literally one of the most amazing things we'd ever had.... EVER!!! This tiny little airstreamy cart produces all vegan, fresh juices and shakes and will even make you up something while you do you're grocery shopping. Further proof that the People's Co-Op area is a little slice of heaven.

Is it ok to rate a food cart? This is the best thing to come to People's ever! Its a cute little food cart that has planted itself in front of People's Co Op. They serve up the BEST organic fresh juices, smoothies and shakes. All vegan, all organic, all amazing. I had a melon smoothie today - just 3 kinds of melon with ice - and it was phenomenal sipping in the sunshine at the tables that now dot the space in front of the co-op. I am glad that i ordered something so divine and so good for me. The girl next to me let me try her cookies and cream shake - it was so incredible I can't wait to go back (and the lack of dairy didn't seem to matter at all). These guys definitely deserve a mention and a visit - with an utter lack of places to get fresh juice in such a health-conscious city, i'm glad someone's finally doing it. People's doesn't have a deli, and for years i thought it should, but now who cares when there's fresh juice and smoothies to be had!

Where have you been all my life? Cute cart. Friendly, helpful, above and beyond service. Yummy yummy yummy stuff! Organic. Vegan. You can tell the business is a labor of love from the level of quality and service. I have to admit being partial to the milkshakes because they are hard to find of good quality in Portland, and most cities. So far the peanut butter chocolate (so rich and creamy) and fresh strawberry (so refreshing) milkshake are standouts for me. Out of the smoothies, I have only tried the orange/strawberry/banana and orange/banana/vanilla - which are both fabulous. I hear the coffee/chocolate/?peanut butter? smoothie is awesome too. I haven't even made my way to the fresh juices yet. Even though I typically love them, it is hard to pass up the "treats" this early in the carts existence. I have witnessed other customers purr over the healthier imbibe-ables though. I hope the owner(s) can keep it going without killing themselves - since it is apparent how much heart is in it. This is one of the few carts that I have seen in Portland that seems destined to be a permanent fixture if quality and service are maintained.

I love the place! My most recent love is their steamers. It's like hot juice tea--the immune booster is amazing and may have prevented a cold that's going around the office. Can't wait to go back!

You really can't go wrong here at all! The milkshakes are sizable and THICK. The flavors are wonderful (orange creamsicle made with fresh-squeezed orange juice, Newman O's, chocolate peanut butter - and many more). They have daily specials and smoothies too. The owner is really nice and so are his employees although he makes the best milkshakes. They use compostable cups. They did used to have vegan whipped cream but the soyatoo liquid is the only cost-effective way rather than buying cans, and it doesn't work well with those automatic whipping cans you put canisters on. The owner said he's going to try making up a recipe that works with the whipper but hasn't had time yet. I know, I was sad too, that they couldnt' do it anymore. Now that fall is here, tomorrow is the last day of milkshakes and while they're going to try to keep the green smoothies, they are moving over to cold weather drinks - 2 vegan soups per day, a whole variety of hot chocolates, spiced apple cider, mate, etc. I will definitely mourn the milkshakes' temporary disappearance but I know anything they make will be tasty!

I love the juice here and so does my picky 4 year old! I only wish they opened earlier so I could grab a cup of pure delicious nutrition before work.

After waiting for 45 minutes and being told that it would be another twenty, I cancelled my order of ONE milkshake. I think you have to know the special handshake in order to be served here!

I am really picky about smoothies, and perhaps Portland's severe lack of smoothie joints has tainted my judgement, but Sip is REALLY good... I arrived at the cart with my smoothie-skeptic face on, but left with a smirking satisfaction, as Sip combines incredible flavors (like ginger, beet, and kale) for cool, refreshing, and immaculately tasty health drinks.

I had a cookies n' cream milkshake, and it was another one of those food items that belongs in the "So good, you wouldn't believe it was vegan" category. Hands down, this food cart was the best find during my 48 hrs. in Portland.

Sip is so great. When you want a refreshing drink full of nutrition, or a treat on a sunny day, this place is the answer. My favorite drink is the "Incredible Hulk" and I usually ask for extra ginger since I am such a fan. I love how you can order your drink and then go into Peoples to do a little shopping. During the warmer months, expect a little wait as they blend up any previous orders. It is worth any wait.

'Tropical Greens' made fresh right before your eyes and served in a glass reusable cup by the most beautiful smiling happy "juice girl" this side of Heaven's suburbs - it just doesn't get any better.

Please! PLEASE! Down in the Clinton Coop corner entrance you'll find SIP, the vegan milkshake chrome food cart. They used to serve vegan shakes with vegan whip creams... but they had to cut that out due to the cost I guess. Still good milkshake though! My favourite is the cherry with Chocolate. Though the moca is quite tasty too. The owners are super friendly and chatty. Its a perfect rest stop for any cyclists in the southeast. I wish they serve cookies or snacks or something to go with the milk shake. That will be sweet.
